contacted the consumer in mid June 2016 to advise that the monthly payment had not been received by mail and a one-time automatic payment was agreed to by the consumer at that time.  Further, our records reflect that a check was received and processed on July 5th for $25.00.   We have no record of receiving any additional payments since that date.  The account at issue will be placed in a Cease & Desist status in our system as the consumer indicates in her complaint that she is done with making payments.  However, we will be glad to provide her with a history of all payments received on the account to date and kindly ask that she contact us directly to request at [redacted] We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the Revdex.com.

Thank you for providing us with a copy of the consumer’s
complaint.  We are submitting an inquiry

that were paid by the consumer to the original creditor, [redacted] Bank. To date, no payments have been forwarded...

to us
from [redacted].  Accordingly, the account
will remain on hold in our system while we research.  Further, no additional payments will be processed by
Atlantic on the account without first speaking to and obtaining authorization
from the consumer.
We appreciate your
assistance

They are FLAT OUT LYING and we have the proof.  We asked that they STOP the automatic payment from Debit Card for the obvious reasons that ANY lawyer would inform their client NOT to do.  So, I let the person know that we would prefer making the payments with a check and by sending them in through [redacted] and they accepted it.  And have been receiving payments ON TIME til we moved here to [redacted]. Now, suddenly its a problem and they claim they aren't receiving payments? Funny, all other businesses receive their payments ON TIME. Atlantic Credit is the only one and making false claims that they are NOT.  I have even asked the other companies to let me know when they received payments from us, they receive it within 3-4 business days. So, now, you tell me WHOM is lying? Atlantic Credit is.  They cashed in a check that they shouldn't have, therefore receiving two payments. They haven't yet cashed the one we sent for this month and we KNOW they have it seeing how they received the one they never claimed that they got and cashed. This is deceitful to the paying customer.  A practice to which I am sure they do to many of their customers.  Any lawyer will tell a client to NEVER allow for a COLLECTION agency to do AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS and for the obvious reason that they were recently trying to do when they called us.  They wanted it for a so called one time payment, Ha, they would have kept dipping into our account without prior consent nor approval. They are LYING to the Revdex.com. But what else is new?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Even though the business is refusing to provide proof of this debt. Also, they are returning the debt to a parent company so I don't see that portion as resolved.

As I explained in my original complaint there was $500.00 paid to [redacted] Bank and which cleared my bank on 10/26/15.  [redacted] Bank has advised me that it was sent to either [redacted] Funding or Mid Atlantic on 10/27/15.  My account has never been credited with that payment of $500.00.  Someone needs to find that money and credit it to my account.  I have actually paid $1,200.00 toward this account. I will not pay more until the account is credited with the correct amount that I have paid.

Im not satisfied with my personal information being sold another company because of Atlantic Credit & Finance harassment and poor training.  I would prefer my account be either sent back to the original creditor or either deleted. Having already been a victim to identity theft, my information being passed from company to company makes me beyond uncomfortable and terrified.
