The business was very unprofessional, as consumers, we have the right to verify whose calling and the reasons whyConsumers have the right to questions and protect private and personal infoWe should not be demanded/threatened/screamed at to provide info no matter what the situations are We were treated like a criminal and business tried to force to provide private info over the phoneThis business needs to be more professionally and treats all citizens equally and respectfullyBusiness needs to take formal training on how to treat the publicsThis business need to be required to take formal training on how to protect and regards private information so other consumers will be treated respectfully and protect private info, they need to deal with comsumers in writing Who ever took that call needs to be discipline and requires to take formal training on how to protect consumers private data and how to provide professional customer service Regards, [redacted]

Mrs [redacted] Paid on her account October 16th in the amount of $and her final payment of $was removed and never processed because we lost the client due to the middleman company we remit to that remits to the clientThe client was paid their money minus our contingency fee and the responsibility now lies with the client to resolve as this has been out of our hands since mid OctoberI challenge anyone who claims we are a "SCAM" which usually is the statement from the ones that know they owe the debt and dont pay the original creditor or client so they assign their debt to us to collect on, verify info with the creditor before you attempt to state our company which is a legitimate collection agency that has been around for years now, that the debt is validAlot of the people that complain about collection agencies being a scam especially on this platform are ones that think stating this gets them out of paying the debtThis was explained a long while ago to Mrs ***, and most likely she either didn't take the steps she was advised to take in regards to showing a receipt to the client proving she paid on the debt or she just flat out did nothing and feel like complaining now that a new collection agency is calling heras far as the rest of her claim ***, she was not threatened with legal action as the debt was only around $She wasn't irate she was very cooperative and stated she cant pay the entire balance so the rep set up payment arrangements with herIf Mrs [redacted] wants another receipt from us all she has to do is call us and we can give her oneWe already have dont this so this is just a baseless complaint?

Unfortunately, Miss ***s so called "complaint" is the reason so many collection agencies have to go back and forth with law offices and the attorney realizes they wasted their time after we explain what "Actually" HAPPENEDIf Miss *** actually knew the law she would know we are not allowed to tell her who she owes on a voicemailIf she knew the law she would know we are allowed to call her everyday between 8am and 9pmShe would know that stating a decision would be made is not a threat and it is not illegalIf she really wanted this resolved a simple phone call to figure out who we are and why we are calling would not be a hard task for her but since she is attempting to avoid the situation, the problem will not go awayInstead of attempting to do research with no real resources (hence why she is not able to figure out that we are calling from a landline from an office building) she should call us and allow us to make her aware of her debtWe sent letters, she claims she cant open the attachmentFrom this point on she needs to call us because this is not going awayIf you look up complaints on ANY collection agency, you will find people using the same ole tactic of calling them a scam until they find out in the long run that they are not....Again we changed our company name after years in operation her file was just received this month by this office along with others during that transitionThat has nothing to do with the fact that most of our debtors call in and find out whats going onLots of them resolve the matter and a small percentage think that hiding behind the Revdex.com makes there debt go awayOnly thing this does is make the fact you are receiving collection calls public knowledgeIt doesn't make the collection agency or the bill for that matter go awayIf you can take time out of your day to keep writing responses here shouldn't it be easy for you to pick the phone up and make a phone call? We've sent you mail and you claim you haven't received itWe sent an attachment and you claim you cant open it and you're calling us a scam? If we were a scam we wouldn't be answering your complaint on here now would weIn fact im sure you know by now we arent a scam but understand we are going to do our job rather you contact us or notThis is considered contact since you are aware we are callingAgain if you call we can resolve this if not, It does not go awayWe are willing to work with youComplaining without knowing is not the solutionGood luck

The complaint is completely falseNot only did she scream from the beginning of the call mad because we called the wrong number , but she threatened the repThe number has since been removed the file was just received so we haven't been calling her for years.

Miss *** actually does have an account in our office and maybe if she would of responded to the call we could of made her aware of what client states she owes themOur company has changed it's name after years in operation so that is why the number that called her was similarBoth the lines
that called her come from our office and if she really did verify the number she would know that they are land lines out of an office in Columbus/ GahannaThe problem with most people complaining about collection calls and accusing the company of being a scam is they dont at least call in to find out who they oweIt would be simple for us to direct Miss ***'s to call the client directly and resolve her matter that was placed in our office but instead she jumps the gun and accuses a legitimate collection agency of being a scam when the easier thing to do would have been to call in so we can make her aware of who claims she owes them and instruct her to call themMy guess is instead of trying to resolve this she will keep responding to this response and think that hiding behind the Revdex.com makes her bill go awayFeel free to call us at anytime since we already sent a letter out to you making you aware of the same matterBy the way there was no threat in our messages and she knows this she is just doing what most do when complaining on a company that they have legitimate business with when trying to avoid talking to them, she is exaggeratingWe have attached the same demand letter that was sent to your address for the Revdex.com's records to show that this is a legitimate matter

Demanding the balance when it is not proven that an account is paid is not a violation of FDCPAThe burden of proof lies on the debtor and our client states Miss ***owes this debtWe placed it in a dispute statusbut nothing stated in the complaint is a violation of Fair Debt
Collections Practices ActWe encourage miss ***r to provide proof that she paid this otherwise this will still be considered a delinquent bill and another agency will call her and attempt to collect the debt.

This is in regard to dispute

IF they want to resend the letter out to me that is fineThey did threaten to make a decision on my behalf and left no other information on the phone who they were representingThey called me twice within a month and gave me two different names of their business, so if it changed in a matter of a few weeks, that seems weird to meHow would that not raise red flags with anyone?? I couldn't even open the file they sentA company that calls with vague information and changes the name of their company within a matter of weeks seems strange to meI did research the number and came up with no legitimate company nameIt did not come from the same number that is on file with the Revdex.comI'm not 'hiding behind my bill' or trying to make it go away from the Revdex.comIf you don't want people to think you are a scam, then maybe you should call from an actual landline and not change your name of your business in messages over the phone within a matter of weeks, Responding to my complaint by accusing me of trying to get out of my bill is absolutely immature and unreasonableAnd you wonder why people think you are a scam? If they resend the letter that they had sent me before and I do owe anybody anything I will contact that company directlyWhy wouldn't they just say that on the phone then? Telling people a decision is going to be made on their behalf but not even mentioning what that is about sounds extremely intimidating and when you are vague and don't leaving any information why wouldn't someone be skeptical? Tell who you are representing and what the matter is about, not telling me to have my attorney call (what does that even mean?)or tell me a decision will be made (what decision? Legal action?) without even letting me know what you are calling me about? If that is some sort of tactic to scare people into calling back? If you have an legitimate account with me, send me a letter with the actual client information and amount owed, and I will take it seriouslyI cannot open that pdfIf they want to send it to my email address they can send it to *** I want everything in writingI have had trouble with this in the past and I'm not dealing with that againI do not wish to be contacted by phone them againSeeing how they responded to my complaint, I don't trust actually speaking to anyone there in personA reasonable company would've responded with a simple explanation, not accusing me of trying to get out of owing money that I don't even know what it is for or lying about messages I have saved!!! Unbelievable! Email or mail me and I will be able to look it over so I can actually see what they are talking about, and I will close the complaint

The call never happened the way the debtor is claimingThe debtor is mad because we could not give info without verifying the debtorWe are a collection agency hired to collect on the debt but there are laws we have to followWe cannot disclose info unless the person is verified

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.
The point in posting the complaint was to get the calls to stop and they haveContinued contact with this nasty little weasel only stresses me moreI feel sorry for the next person who mistakenly ends up in his crosshairsRegards, *** ***

We listened to this call and after listening to this call and also looking at a review that Mrs *** already placed on our Revdex.com customer review page, it is apparent that she is not telling the truth at all as a matter of fact this conversation is grossly exaggeratedIn fact, Mrs *** was bragging
that her and her husband had degrees and berated the collectorShe stated the collector only makes $hr and was cursing at the collector all because she stated our company is calling the wrong numberHer number was takin out right after the phone callMrs *** called into the office approximately times and the collector told her that it would be deemed harassment if she keeps callingThere is no need to contact this individual as we have removed her number.?

again, this number was removedThe person complaining called in cursing and threatening our repand obviously the person complaining dont completely understand the laws based off the Ohio law they are quotingThis persons number has been removed and now they want to continue complaining when the situation has been resolvedThis person was completely disrespectful when calling our office issuing threats and cursing at the repIts always funny when people complain and only want to tell one version of the storyThis person is no longer getting called therefore the situation should be resolved

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

#[redacted]. Attached is proof that the phone number this business is calling belongs to my partner, [redacted], not [redacted]  (the person they claim to be looking for). Also attached is proof that I received calls from this business as recently as 10/31. The response by the business is completely irrelevant, as by Ohio law, if someone requests that someone not continue calling them they must stop. Regardless of how I spoke to the agent, every call I received after that conversation was in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. I also never said in my original complaint that this business had been contacting me for three years. I stated I had been in possession of the phone number they've been calling (##########) for three years. [redacted]

Due to the nature of our business we are not allowed to disclose the client. We have over 30000 accounts in our office so naturally depending on what time the customer calls. They may not be able to speak with a rep until they are off the line with the many other customers that call into our office....

Since the nature of our business is collections and we are governed by the FTC there are only so many things we are able to say to convey the importance of an immediate call back so the statement that "a decision will be made" is not a threat, it is a true statement and there is no particular consequence mentioned in that statement. My suggestion would be for the customer to call our office again after all, I have called my bank and couldn't get thru and it didn't  result in me contacting the Revdex.com. I just simply tried calling again until I got thru to someone. We are here Monday thru Friday until 5pm and Saturdays until 2pm. I welcome the customer to call us today as we are in.

Mrs [redacted] Paid on her account October 16th in the amount of $100.00. and her final payment of $146.87 was removed and never processed because we lost the client due to the middleman company we remit to that remits to the client. The client was paid their money minus our contingency fee and the...

responsibility now lies with the client to resolve as this has been out of our hands since mid October. I challenge anyone who claims we are a "SCAM" which usually is the statement from the ones that know they owe the debt and dont pay the original creditor or client so they assign their debt to us to collect on, verify info with the creditor before you attempt to state our company which is a legitimate collection agency that has been around for 3 years now, that the debt is valid. Alot of the people that complain about collection agencies being a scam especially on this platform are ones that think stating this gets them out of paying the debt. This was explained a long while ago to Mrs [redacted], and most likely she either didn't take the steps she was advised to take in regards to showing a receipt to the client proving she paid on the debt or she just flat out did nothing and feel like complaining now that a new collection agency is calling her. as far as the rest of her claim [redacted], she was not threatened with legal action as the debt was only around $248. She wasn't irate she was very cooperative and stated she cant pay the entire balance so the rep set up payment arrangements with her. If Mrs [redacted] wants another receipt from us all she has to do is call us and we can give her one. We already have dont this so this is just a baseless complaint
