Some of what Mr [redacted] said is true. We did make him aware of his wife's bill even after we told him we would prefer to talk to his wife since it is her bill and in a lot of cases the spouse does not want to be in the best interest of their wife/husband. As expected, Mr [redacted] turned the conversation...

into a pride contest. When he stated he don't know if we are a legit company he was instructed to verify who we are with the Revdex.com and with the client. He refused. He stayed on the line screaming to the top of his lungs threatening the rep as we have the conversation recorded. His "Choice" words were endless curse words and the rep should have ended the call there however the rep made Mr [redacted] aware of  how he can take care of the bill Mr [redacted] just refused. We advised Mr [redacted] to have his wife call because we are going to make a decision on this and we'd rather have her input because if we only deal with him, this bill wont be resolve. Mr [redacted] was relentless with the threats and cursing he refused to resolve this and he is obviously assuming complaining to the Revdex.com on a collection agency will stop the agency from doing their job. The way to resolve this is to have his wife call in to us and pay this bill with us. That stops collection activity. Since we are a collection agency, we will continue to be targets of complaints but we accept this because this is the industry we are in. We will not however, accept threats from a person stating they was in the navy like that gives him a right to throw curse words and threats to an individual. We know that is not what the Navy teaches and I would caution Mr [redacted] not to handle everyone of his wife's business matters the way he tried to handle hers with our company. We invite Mr [redacted] to have his wife call us he said she was out of town that is the only reason we continued to speak with him.

Demanding the balance when it is not proven  that an account is paid is not a violation of FDCPA. The burden of proof lies on the debtor and our client states Miss [redacted]8 owes this debt. We placed it in a dispute status. but nothing stated in the complaint is a violation of Fair Debt...

Collections Practices Act. We encourage miss [redacted]r to provide proof that she paid this otherwise this will still be considered a delinquent bill and another agency will call her and attempt to collect the debt.

again, this number was removed. The person complaining called in cursing and threatening our rep. and obviously the person complaining dont completely understand the laws based off the Ohio law they are quoting. This persons number has been removed and now they want to continue complaining when the situation has been resolved. This person was completely disrespectful when calling our office issuing threats and cursing at the rep. Its always funny when people complain and only want to tell one version of the story. This person is no longer getting called therefore the situation should be resolved .

business was very unprofessional, as consumers, we have the right to verify whose calling and the reasons why. Consumers have the right to questions and protect private and personal info. We should not be demanded/threatened/screamed at to provide info no matter what the situations are.  We were treated like a criminal and business tried to force to provide private info over the phone. This business needs to be more professionally and treats all citizens equally and respectfully. Business needs to take formal training on how to treat the publics. This business need to be required to take formal training on how to protect and regards private information so other consumers will be treated respectfully and protect private info, they need to deal with comsumers in writing.   Who ever took that call needs to be discipline and requires to take formal training on how to protect consumers private data and how to provide professional customer service.

We listened to this call and after listening to this call and also looking at a review that Mrs [redacted] already placed on our Revdex.com customer review page, it is apparent that she is not telling the truth at all as a matter of fact this conversation is grossly exaggerated. In fact, Mrs [redacted] was bragging...

that her and her husband had degrees and berated the collector. She stated the collector only makes $8 hr and was cursing at the collector all because she stated our company is calling the wrong number. Her number was takin out right after the phone call. Mrs [redacted] called into the office approximately 6 times and the collector told her that it would be deemed harassment if she keeps calling. There is no need to contact this individual as we have removed her number.

The complaint is completely false. Not only did she scream from the beginning of the call mad because we called the wrong number , but she threatened the rep. The number has since been removed the file was just received so we haven't been calling her for 3 years.
