After reading over *** ***'s complaint we have the following response.During the entire first half of the complaint we must unfortunately say that we cannot comment on most of the complaint as we know nothing about it's contents.Our company does not fax or advertise any information to it's
clients. The phone number and extention mentioned is not our companies contact number and we do not have ententions.We do not have a Sebastian here at our company.We do not take over the phone payments for anything.This could only mean that the company *** *** is referencing is not our company. In reference to ** ***'s refund request we unfortunately must say that she is correct in stating that we have said that her funds cannot be retunred to her*** *** signed a document called the ""Booking Information Needed" form which states the terms and conditions for the promotion that she was taking advantage ofOn this document is states the following:"Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by The Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel CenterOnce you are sent the information to proceed to your booking company by the Travel Center there cannot be any refunds from the Travel Center."*** *** signed and returned this document on 1/7/to our companyThis states that she knew once this document was returned and our company sent her the next set of information that no refund would be available to her of the funds that she sent to our companyThe next steo was sent to her on 1/12/to which *** *** proceeded to begin the booking process with her booking company, this is why her refund request was denied.At this time we must stand by our refund department in stating that we do not beleive *** *** is due a refund

After reading over the letter Ms*** has written as a complaint against our company we see that there is unfortunately not one single question for our company to answer so we will do our best to give a proper response to this complaint.It seems Ms***'s main complaint is that she never received the email for the "VRC Welcome Letter" that we sent on 6/5/containing the codes for her to begin booking her vacation with the booking company and that Ms*** expected our company to contact her after having not received this emailUnfortunately we here at the Travel Center have no way of knowing if a customer does or does not receive this email because it is up to the customer to use the email to contact the booking companyAt this point we would not know whether the customer has done so because from that point on the customer is working with the booking company and no longer sending documents to our companyMs*** states that she tried multiple times to call our company, unfortunately we are a very busy company and sometimes it is hard to get through so we do apologize for that inconvenience but the busy message does provide out customer service email address and other documentation provides this as well so at any time she could have emailed to let us know she had not received this emailIn checking our email records, she did notTherefor we could not assist her because we had no idea what was going on.Ms*** claims that she has received no further documents, this is trueDue to the open complaint that Ms*** has with you we have terminated all contact from our company until the time that the complaint is closed.At this time Ms.*** states that she will be awaiting a full refund from Donna the comptrollerUnfortunately Donna the comptroller is not authorized to issue a full refund, she is authorized to offer the partial refund of $previously offered in the last response to Ms***'s complaintAt this time, no more than the $70,refund will be authorizedIf Ms.*** wishes to request this partial refund she will need to follow the previously given instructions and email the refund department at *** accepting the partial refund given to her through the Revdex.com Complaint.Sincerely,The Travel Center Staff

After reading over the complaint submitted by *** *** we here at The Travel Center have the following response. Unfortunately in reading over the first half of the submitted complaint we must state the following:We here at the Travel Center do not fax or advertise any type of vacationsWe
here at the Travel Center do not provide quotes or pricing for customersWe here at the Travel Center do not nor have we in the last two years had anyone by the name of Alan working for our company and we here at the Travel Center did not receive a payment of $1,from *** ***. With this information stated this can only lead us to a conclusion that *** *** is placing a complaint against the wrong company. Unfortunately we here at the Travel Center have never even received a refund request from *** *** but since she has placed this complaint we can answer that request here. When *** *** submitted her activation with our company on 4/17/sending in her documentation it stated that she wiould have months to use the program, unfortunately her information is now expired and she is not eligable to use the program or to receive a refund. Also, *** *** signed and returned a separate document as well that stated once she was sent to the booking company to receive a quote and book her vacation that no refunds were available from our company, this document was signed and returned to our company on 4/20/and *** *** was sent the documentation to begin the finalization process with her booking company on 4/27/As *** *** stated, she used that information and began the finalization of the process with her booking companyThe document clearly states that she is entitled to no refund from our company at this point.We are sorry that *** *** is not satisfied, unfortunately at this time this is not something that we can assist with due to the fact that not only is her promotion expired but she has used our services

September 2nd 2015Dear *** ***,After reading the letter that *** *** has sent to your office we have the following response to the issues that have been brought up.First it seems as though the main problem that *** *** has with our company is that she believes that she purchased a package
from our company and that one of our representatives misrepresented a package that was sold to herUnfortunately we cannot speak on this matter because our company, The Travel Center does not sell or advertise packages nor do we take payments for package purchasesThis means that this could not have been our company that she spoke with therefor we cannot assist in answering questions or concerns pertaining to this matter.The second issue that *** *** brings up is that she believes that she had already paid for her vacation and that the vacation price tripled, unfortunately this information makes no sense to our company because our job at The Travel Center is to send the customer to a booking companyIf *** ***'s vacation was already booked why would she need to come to our company and use our services to book her vacation? Not only is it stated numerous times that *** *** would be sent to a booking company but it also states on the included and highlighted documentation that was signed and dated by *** *** on 10/9/that we The Travel Center, are not responsible for anything any other company has said to herIt states the following: "The advanced notice time does not start at time of sale, it starts after you receive your travel documents and codes from the Travel Center and you contact the booking company", it also states "The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it fromIf you have any questions about the package please call that company" followed by "All vacations and pricing are subject to change without notice prior to confirmed booking"At this point We are very sorry that *** *** felt as though we here at the Travel Center had miscommunicated information to her but as you can see this is not the caseWe are sorry but due to the fact that our refund policy states "Once Travel Documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center" and *** *** signed and dated this document as Well as used the booking codes sent to her on 12/5/to contact the booking company and receive a quote, we cannot and will not be refunding any fees from the Travel Center.It is not our job here at the Travel Center to make sure that each customer reads and understands the documentation that they sign and return to our companyThe customer service contact number is on each and every document and email So that any questions may be answered by a representative at the Customer's requestWe are sorry for this inconvenience, but there is nothing further that we can do.Sincerely, The Travel Center Staff

July 15, 2015After reading over the letter from *** *** in its entirety the following is the information we have pertaining to the letterUnfortunately at this time as we read over the letter and check our files, most of the letter to your agency is not addressed to our company at allAfter

In reading over *** ***'s complaint we here at The Travel Center have the following response. *** ***'s entire complaint only states two things, that she did not receive anything from our company and that she wants a refundWe see in the complaint that multiple
funds are referenced so I would like to clear up the fact that *** *** only provided our company, the Travel Center with $on 7/7/for her activation feeWe cannot assist *** *** with any of the other funds so we cannot comment on them either, as we have not collected them and they are not funds that came to our company. Secondly, *** *** claims that she has heard nothing from our company and that our company hangs up on her when she callsThis unfortunately is not true and proof will be provided.Upon receiving the $from *** *** she was promptly sent her confirmation email called the "Booking Information Needed" form on 7/7/2015, this is the same day that her activation fee was receivedAt this time *** *** must not have received it because she called back on 7/9/stating that she received nothing, it was resent and than again on 7/14/claiming the same thing so again the document was resent*** *** was informed that if she did not receive the document the third time it was sent out that perhaps she should contact us the next day with an alternate email address for it to be sent to, she did and than it was also mailed to the address that she providedAt this time she must have received it because on 7/22/*** *** returned the document to our company by mailing it in filled out and signedThis shows communication that *** *** is claiming out company never had with her Once this documentation was sent to our company by *** *** we were sure to process it and send her the information to be able to begin the finalization of the booking process with her booking companyThis information was emailed to her on 7/25/*** *** called again claiming to have not received the email so we re-emailed it to her in a different format, unfortunately all documents through our company are emailed so that the process can be done in a timely fashion, this was an issue that needed to be rectifiedWe explained the *** *** at this time that this was the last document that we would be able to mail, that she would need to figure out a way to make sure she could get emailsAt this time we mailed the document for her but she provided us with her daughters email address to make sure that the process would go much smoother from than onAfter all of this, *** *** did receive the information to continue with her booking company, we know this because at this time she decided to request a refund, her request was denied based on the fact that our services were provided and that on the "Booking Information Needed form" that she signed it states the following:"Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center"This document was returned by *** *** on 7/22/as previously stated and is copied and attached here in this response for proof. After *** *** was denied her refund by our refund department her and her daughter called our company speaking to one of our representatives proceeding to yell at the representative for the refund request denial and the processThis was the last time our company would have heard from *** *** via the customer service line due to the fact that *** *** decided to proceed with the booking company, we know this because we contacted the booking company and they let us know that on 11/3/they received her registration information and sent her the last and final documents for her to continue the finalization of booking her vacation. We are very sorry that even after all of this help and time our customer service department had put into assisting *** *** that she felt she never spoke with anyone and that all our customer service did was hang up on her, obviously the file notes that we have do not support this information so we cannot attest to this, but at this time due to all of the provided information we must decline *** ***'s request for a refund as we here at The Travel Center have done our part in *** ***'s vacation planning and even feel that our customer service department went above and beyond to make sure that *** *** received her documentation

After reading over the complaint submitted by *** *** we have prepared the following response.In looking over *** *** file we see that *** *** begin her process with out company back on 5/28/2015, at this time *** *** did send her activation feeOnce the activation fee was received ***
*** was sent a confirmation email containing a document called the "Booking Information Needed" formsOn the "Booking Information Needed Form" it states the following:"Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center."This document was returned on 6/22/by *** ***, *** *** filled out this document and signed it with her acknowledgement that there would be no refunds of the provided activation fee once the documentation was returned and she was sent the documentation to further her vacation planning with her booking companyUpon the return of this documentation *** *** was provided with the necessary documents to begin the finalization process of booking her vacation with the booking company on 6/24/*** *** contacted out customer service department on 6/26/stating that she hadn't received the documentation so it was sent again that same day.After doing further research and contacting the booking company we have verified that the documentation to finalize the booking of *** *** vacation was received by *** *** because we contacted the booking company and found that *** *** returned that documentation to them on 7/10/At this time this means that *** *** did receive and use the documents that were sent to her, this means that *** *** was no longer eligible for a refundWe are sorry that *** *** feels as though our company has not assisted her, it is unfortunate that *** *** either did not fully read the documentation that she signed or perhaps did not fully understand the documentsThis document including *** *** can be provided upon request.No refund will be provided due to all of the above provided information*** *** used our services, whether she decided to follow through and finalize the booking of her vacation or not has nothing to do with the provided services to *** ***

Per your mailing regarding the complaint from Mr*** I have read over the file and will do my best to answer any questions or concerns they have addressed.As this is a very short complaint from Mr*** We here at Fun Time do not have much information to go off of as far as the letter is
concernedIt seems that no questions have been asked and their complaint is only partially directed towards our company so | Will simply give the information that I have and leave it at that.Mr*** sent his registration fee of $in the form of a check to our company and it was received on 5/12/2015, on 5/14/their Registration Confirmation was sent the email that they provided on their documentation which was *** ***At this time it is the customer's responsibility to print out and fill out the documentation that they have received, returning it within a year to begin the booking of their vacationThey did not complete this step.The next form of contact that We received from Mr*** Would be an email sent to Our customer service department on 6/25/asking us the status of their vacation also stating that they have not received their woucherOn 6/26/2015the customer service staff replied to that email asking Mr*** what his promotional code was in order to be able to assist the customer properlyThere was no response to this emailThis was the last Contact from this Customer that has been received.To address the claim that Mr*** has not been able to get a hold of our company for assistance, this is obviously untrueNot only has the document that Mr*** needed had been emailed but the one and only email sent from Mr*** was replied to with no response from Mr*** in our reply for assistance.In response to the request of a refund from Mr***, we here at Fun Time will be more than happy to assist Mr*** with a response regarding his refund request once he requests one properlyIf Mr*** Wishes to request a refund it must be done by sending an email to ***, please ask that the registration name be includedPlease also ask that the amount paid to Fun Time and Fun Time only be included and that they give the reason for their requestAt this time it will take approximately business hours for a response from the refund departmentIt is not our job here at Fun Time to make sure a customer checks or responds to their email, unfortunately we cannot control this action nor can we control a customer calling the provided customer service numberIf there is any confusion or the customer wishes assistance they may contact the customer service line or the email customer service for a quick response.Sincerely, The Accounting Department

After Reading *** ***'s Letter and pulling his file this is my final response to *** ***As you read the documents that I have enclosed and supplied copies of you will see that these questions and concerns have already been addressed with *** ***on September 2, Please read my highlighted
areas on the enclosed documents that *** *** signed and sent in to The Travel Center, these copies are for your recordsPlease sitdown before you read and look over the graphic emails that *** *** sent to The Travel Center. Nowhere on The Activation Form that *** *** signed and sent in with his payment to The Travel Center does the word FREE appearThat document states that “Travelers are responsible for all government taxes and booking feesTaxes and fees for the bonus vacation depend on the length and season of travel and will be paid directly to the travel provider"This statement alone should have told *** *** that any of the bonus vacations offered Were not FREEAlso the money that *** *** sent to The Travel Center was for the activation portion of the vacation of his choice not for the taxes he claims to have paid to The Travel CenterOn the Activation Form it also states that "Recipient must mail the activation fee of $69,per person, by check or money order within weeks of the issue date, issue date is registered as the date the client received this form"So I have no idea how *** *** thought that he was paying his taxes when the document said the fee being paid were for his activationIt is clear that that *** *** has a hard time comprehending what he is reading, and chooses to retain what he thinks will benefit him, and not what is in print that he is actually reading.On the signed Travel Center Booking Information Needed Form it covers our refund policy and vacation pricing again: "Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by The Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by The Travel Center"“The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreement made by the company you purchased it fromIf you have any questions about the package please call that company”“ALL VACATION PRICING ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE PRIOR TO CONFIRMBOOKING"Once again these statements are telling *** *** the vacation he chooses is not FREE and that The Travel Center has to PAY for the access Codes that Were sent to *** ***That is why The Travel Center cannot and will not refund *** *** since no explanation was given as to why he was requesting the resund.With all the documentation I have supplied I am sure once you have read and reviewed the graphic photos *** *** Sent to Our Company, not to mention his horrid languageA police report was filed in Maryland and Oregon to get *** *** to stopIf *** *** was promised FREE airfare than *** *** needs to go to the company that made those promises to him and to leave The Travel Center alone*** *** would never give the refund department a reason he was requesting a refundInstead *** *** Chooses to threaten our company and our staff members, and to go to a seminar and have some fun with those people as *** *** stated in his email correspondenceAll due to his lack of comprehension of what was in writing that *** *** Willingly signed and sent to our officeHow was The Travel Center to know that he could not or did not read the documents before signing themNo further communication is required by The Travel Center and none will follow this is my final response,Sincerely, The Accounting Department

I am rejecting this response because:You were assisting me with a complaint I had regarding the Travel Center, and the case # you had given us was ***. In order to receive payment, they wanted us to close the case against them. Here it is October 21, and still they have not yet reimbursed us our $138.00. We NEVER booked anything, so my husband doesn't feel that they should be charging a booking fee of $per person to refund the remainder. And I started the beginning of April trying to get them to help us with travel to get my husband out to Oregon for his stepfather's funeral - which they never responded to, so at that point requested our money back.Since this is a "couples" program, I can only imagine how many others have been taken by this company and the ones that rent rooms in hotels to do their part of selling the travel package, and handing out paperwork to be mailed with a check to "The Travel Center" - even though they claimed there was no affiliation. REALLY? How did the presenters come up with the paperwork from them?I want you to reopen my complaint against them. If I have to contact them DAILY until our money is refunded, I believe that is my right to do so. They are liars and thieves, as are the presenters!

After looking over the submitted complaint by Mr*** we here at The Travel Center have the following responseAt no time should Mr*** have been under the impression that he was to receive a free vacation, he is correct in assuming his promotion was to be for a vacation at a discount and
had Mr*** followed the promotion it would haveMr*** is correct, we here at The Travel Center send our customers to booking companies who quote them for the vacation they request, if the promotional guidelines are followed the quote will be at a discount for the requested vacationUnfortunately after digging deeper into Mr***s file and contacting the booking company Mr*** forfeited his promotion by violating many guidelines for the promotion. Mr*** violated the following promotional guidelines:Requesting a vacation with less than days advanced notice.Requesting travel dates during peak season for the chosen destination. Mr*** knew about these promotional guidelines and signed off on them previous to requesting his vacation quote from the booking company, we know this because Mr*** received his original voucher which he mailed in on 10/20/and his Booking information needed form which he mailed in on 1/22/2016, both of these documents provide the terms and conditions.Specifically each document states the following:"Voucher"- "day advanced notice is required for all vacations however less than day advanced notice is available with a surchargeThese bonus vacations are for off peak season travel, peak season is available at a surcharge.""Booking Information Needed Form"- "Please remember that a day advanced notice is required for all of these vacationsThis promotion is for non peak season travel with Tuesday and Wednesday departuresThe travel time and departure dates may be bypassed with the knowledge that this violates your promotional offer and will subject you to a possible surcharge."(Both documents have been scanned and included with this response so that it may be seen that Mr*** knew of these restrictions.) Due to this information as well as the strict refund policy also stated on the documentation by the Travel Center that Mr*** has signed and returned, we will not be offering Mr*** a refund

that she would be responsible for a specific amount offees for the resort fees that would be paid at the time of bookingUnfortunately we here at the Travel Center would have no knowledge of this information, the original company that Ms*** is referring to which is *** *** Travel should or would have let her know that she would be responsible for activation fees as well as taxes or additional surcharges for not staying within the promotion in terms of the vacationAt this time that Ms*** had decided to activate she could have contacted our customer service to ask questions if she was confused, not only is the customer service number provided on the original activation email provided, but the customer service email is provided on the busy message if all of our customer service lines are full and she is having trouble getting throughThis email is also provided once her activation confirmation was sent to herThe document that I am referencing is called the “Booking Information Needed” form, this document is sent out by our customer service department from Info*** ***, Mr*** references that she emailed a *** *** * ***, if this is the case this would not be one of our emails and would not get a response from our companyIn the “Booking Information Needed” form it states the following; “The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it fromIf you have any questions about the package please call that companyThe offer is void where prohibited by lawAll vacations and pricing are subject to change without prior notice to confirmed booking“Below that with the signature line it than states: “Any problems or complaints between you and the seller/promotional company regarding other promotions not contained in your promotional brochure must be addressed with the seller/promotional company only, and are not the responsibility of the Travel Center.” This document should have either caused Ms*** to contact our company with questions prior to returning it or to email our customer service email with those questions if she was concerned about the vacation she was to be planningThis should have also covered the second issue that Ms*** brings up in her complaint pertaining to her stating that she feels the vacation was supposed to only cost a certain amount.To address Ms***'s third complaint it seems that she is stating that our customer service has been avoiding her calls and not answering her emails or questionsUnfortunately this seems to just not be the case as we have a multitude of notes on her file showing that she has been spoken to on multiple occasions and given much information pertaining to her vacationDue to her inconvenience the only thing that we can say is that we are sorry Ms*** feels this way, our customer service has done the best it can to assist her.It seems to resolve Ms***'s complaint she wishes a refund, unfortunately the amount of funds that Ms*** is requesting to be returned is not the amount collected by our companyOur company has only collected $in the form of a check on 3/25/that Ms*** sent to our companyThis means that she would need to contact the other companies that she paid those fees to in order to request refund from those companiesUnfortunately however we cannot provide Ms*** a refund because our services have been renderedThe funds that Ms*** sent to our company for activation on 3/25/would have been used to purchase the codes and information that was sent to Ms*** on 4/10/at her request by returning the “Booking Information Needed” form to our companyThis form was returned on 4/8/2015, on this form it states the refund policy to Ms***This information has been highlighted on the copy enclosed for your convenience and it states the following; “Any changes or cancellations made later may result in a small administrative change feeOnce travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center.”The documents referenced in the quoted information were sent to Ms*** on 4/10/via email and were redeemed by Ms*** on 4/17/At this time due to all of the information included in our response we feel a refund should not be issuedIf Ms*** has any further questions she may contact the customer service department at ###-###-#### or at ***The customer service department will be more than happy to assist Ms*** with information on contacting the other companies that she has paid in reference to her wanting a refund from them.Sincerely, The Accounting Department

August 17th, 2015Dear *** ***,After reading the letter that *** *** has sent to your office We have the following response to the issues that have been brought upIt seems that the first issue *** *** is having is that he believes that our company is the same company that conducted the seminar that he went to, this is not the case so we cannot speak on any information pertaining to the seminar that he attendedThe first contact that we here at the Travel Center had with *** *** would have been when he sent his activation to our company to begin the booking process of his promotional vacationThe next issue that it seems *** *** is having is that at some point he was brought into the process with the misunderstanding that he was to pay only $for his promotional vacation, unfortunately we cannot give any information on how he Would have Come to this conclusion because nowhere on the documentation that he provided to our company does it state that he would be responsible for any certain amountIn fact, On the voucher that *** *** returned to our company on 6/26/for activation it states the following: "Travelers are responsible for all government taxes and booking feesTaxes and fees for the bonus vacation depend on the length and season of travel and will be paid directly to the travel provider." This information specifically states that there is no current knowledge of what those fees will be and that the information Will be given at a later date upon booking the vacationIf there was a miscommunication at some point or a misunderstanding of this information or even any confusion *** *** should have and could have called the customer service number that is not only located on the voucher but also on multiple areas in the confirmation email that he is sent after activating his voucherThis quoted information has been highlighted on the copy of the document that he returned to us, this document has been included for your convenience.The next and final issue that *** *** seems to have would be that he did not want to send another fee into our company, it seems that *** *** did not fully read the documentation that he was sent because that $fee that he is referencing was not being asked for by our company nor was it to be sent to our company here at the Travel CenterThe $fee that *** *** is referencing was to go to his booking Company as a registration fee/deposit towards the taxes for his vacation so that he may begin the booking process with themAt this time if *** *** was confused about this information even though it had previously been given to him on his Voucher letting him know that he would be responsible for taxes and fees, he should have contacted the customer service number provided on multiple documents.At this time we do take note that *** *** would like a refund, unfortunately due to the fact that all of the information was given to him previous to him beginning the process and the fact that he has signed a document called the "Booking information Needed" form stating the following: "Once Travel Documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center" We must decline his refund requestDue to his acknowledgement that the booking company is requiring the $deposit for him to continue we know that he has in fact received the booking codes via email that were sent to him and has entered them into the booking companies systemThis means that not only has *** *** received the codes that were sent to him but he has used them.once again, We are sorry that *** *** is dissatisfied with the process, unfortunately we here at the Travel Center cannot make sure that each and every customer reads documentation before making the decision to sign and send it to our companyThe best we can do is provide a customer service number that is available with representatives to answer any and all questions a customer has, Sincerely, The Travel Center Staff
