In May of 2017 I hired Driveways by Heap to sealcoat my driveway. This is the second complaint concerning this matter that I have filed. During the sealcoating, the sealcoating material splashed onto and stained my garage door. After my earlier complaint they promised to take care of the matter by trying a different solvent. I agreed to this resolution. However that has not happened. This company is full of empty promises. I have since left several messages with no call back. No one answers the call and there is never a call back. I was at one point told that they would hire someone else to take care of the matter. They did send someone out to take a picture of the stain but there has been no further action,Desired Outcome: At this point it seems that cleaning is not an option and I would expect replacement of the damaged panel on the garage door. If they are finally able to clean or repair the stain in any other way I would expect a guarantee that the door will remain in excellent condition with no fading, discoloration, peeling, or further staining for the life of the door.

the statement made about the inclement weather is untrue in regards to the date of July 29th. It was a hot , sunny , day that I stayed home from work until 1 pm to meet with the repair technician. I called the office at 1pm when no one arrived to say I had to go to work as I was already being docked half a day's pay. No phone call and no technician ever came to my house that day. I called on July 30 with yet another message expressing my frustration. No call back . I have called 3 times since then no answer no calls back. So yes, I am being ignored. As far as the company coming today--- I wouldn't know I am on vacation and will be home tomorrow There is a car in the driveway so I'm not sure how the company could work around it. I hope and pray they did do it but, I'm extremely disappointed that this company would basically lie to the Revdex.com. I will let you know as soon as I get home tomorrow. I do thank you .

To whom it may concern, This is the first complaint we have heard regarding the stability of [redacted] driveway. In his initial complaint, he stated that work was never completed as he recieved a separate price for patching and sealing. He says nothing about the state of the driveway. We at Driveways by Heap fully warranty all of our work and will fix any issues with [redacted] driveway at no charge. We also want to make it completely clear that the patching and sealing of the second driveway was NEVER included in the $1800.00 price. $1800.00 is what driveways the size of [redacted] cost. Regarding the statement " I don't like to talk about race". I am not sure what this means... I very much hoping that [redacted] is not implying that Driveways by Heap is in any way shape or form prejudiced. That would be an outrageous slanderous lie that we would take very seriously as members of our crew, and our own personal families come from many different backgrounds and orientations and we celebrate our diversity. With [redacted] permission we would like to go to his property to assess the state of his driveway and make arrangements for any repairs needed. Thank you

Ms. [redacted], Indentations and tire marks are something that commonly happens in a new driveway. It happens no matter who puts the driveway in and what material is used. If you go back to your contract and look it will say that tire marks are not covered under our guarantee. You can call any...
paving company or look it up on line and you will get the same response. Generally no paving company covers them.The reason for this is that asphalt is oil based, making it flexible. When it is warm out and the asphalt heats up tire marks can occur. It has absolutely nothing to do with the material or the workmanship. However, all of that being said we have come out to take care of your tire marks once this year and we will come out again to repair the ones you have now. When the weather gets cooler, probably in October, we would be more than happy to come out and fix them for you.I have attached a copy of a blank paving proposal with our guarantee circled.Thank You,[redacted]

Additional complaints about the job that I already paid $1800 and supposed to be done properly with enough asphalt for better duration. I noticed they did not put enough compact gravel base to sustain the asphalt on the top. Now, I see weeds, partial part of the driveway sink and the driveway is not level at all. As long they can send someone to verify the work that was done less than a year ago, finish the work order, do not lie to me, I will work with them. I just can't understand I referred them to my neighbors and hers was completed and well done. " I do not like to talk about race." They neighbors can't understand why they never came back to finish the job.
