Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:? No attempt was made to make any finance options known to us whether applicable or notInstead however our credit union received a response on our behalf from Kia, unknown to us, declining their offerIt was known at the start of our car buying experience that we would like to finance through the same credit unionThe offers from the credit unions became known to us only after purchasing the vehicleKia knowingly neglected to inform us of our optionsWhen working with one of the credit unions we were able to refinance despite the excess additional costs associated with it as well as the refused help on Kia’s part to provide the purchase invoice Sincerely, [redacted]

On July John K [redacted] called Mr [redacted] regarding his Complaint.? MrK [redacted] explained that the Credit Amnesty ad states you must make a minimum of $per week to qualify.? At the time, Mr [redacted] made $per month, which generally would not qualify him for any car loan unless he had a substantial down payment (approximately 50% of the purchase price).? MrK [redacted] apologized to Mr [redacted] for the confusion and told him we would be happy to assist him with a vehicle purchase in the future when his financial situation changes

[redacted] , [redacted] is referring to an advertisement mailed by Kiefer Nissan of Gresham On the advertisement there was a match to win game There was no purchase necessary to enter or win The directions on how to play were clearly printed on the advertisement The instructions on the advertisement were to bring the flyer to the event location and compare your confirmation code to the prize board to determine what you have one All of the prizes were clearly listed with odds of winning Due to the fact that the grand prize was insured no other information could have been given via telephone Due to an overwhelming response to the advertisement we were unable to handle all phone calls promptly and in the future when using this form of advertising we will be increasing our staff to handle the increased level of phone calls regarding the advertisement I have included the disclosure statement from the advertisement for your information Please contact me with any further inquiries regarding this matter I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted] @gokiefer.com Sincerely, Chris B [redacted] Kiefer Automotive Group Operations Manager

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:On 12/09/we began our car buying experience at Kiefer Kia, from here on known as KiaOur credit application was received the same day at Pacific Cascade Federal Credit Union, from here on known as Pacific CascadeWe waited for Kia to inform us of any offers, from the 9th of December to the 24th of December, no information was shared about any other credit approvals besides SantanderWe fell victim to this withholding of information about the other credit approvals that even Kia admits to in their response, 2/08/2017, to my complaint with the Revdex.com submitted on 2/07/In Kia’s latest response,02/17/2017, they state that Santander was the first to approve us as they sometimes don’t receive approvals until the next business dayThis statement is invalid as we were notified of this approval weeks before all parties were able to sign at Kia, as the co-signer is a truck driver and was out of state at the timeWe signed with Santander on 12/24/On 12/29/we receive our first letter in regards to our car loan approval, from Pacific CascadeKia claims that the two approvals were “not for the parameters needed” however in our approval letter the only parameter not met in their request was the length of the loan term of months but was offered months insteadIt took us only a week after receiving our credit approval letter to contact Pacific Cascade to inquire about this offerOn 1/24/both parties agree that Kia was contacted by Pacific Cascade about our refinancing and asked to provide the factory InvoicePacific Cascade was unable to approve us without this invoice and attempted on many occasions to get itTheir experience with Kia was at first pleasant and they were hopeful of receiving the invoiceFrom 1/24/to 2/3/Pacific Cascade noticed a change and were greeted with call transfers to people who were unavailable, sick or on vacationPacific Cascade knowing how desperate we were to get out of our bad loan, were able to approve us of our refinancing by receiving the needed information from the manufacturerOur Service Contract Purchase Date being 2/3/This bad practice of withholding credit information wasn’t the only thing Kia didThey also took advantage of our lack of car buying experience and made changes to the advertised price, added additional mark up and extrasThe original loan request amount was $24,however after doing what corrupt things they do they decided we were a prime candidate for their practicesWe were told of countless discounts such as, military discount, manufacture’s rebate and loyalty discount because our previous car purchase from themDespite all the discussed discounts and deals we were getting they signed us with a less than satisfactory lender in the amount of $26,All this malpractice unknown to us until we were able to work with Pacific Cascade and have a professional look over these documentsWith our refinancing, out of Santander, an out of state lender charging us 14% interest who doesn’t except credit or debit payments nor has any payment grace period, to Pacific Cascade a local lender charging us 11% interest with a payment grace period has caused us to accrue additional costsOur refinanced loan now is in the amount $28,574.81, despite the additional loan amount our payment and interest are less than with SantanderIf without the malpractice of Kia we would have had an original loan amount of $24,with a 9% interest through our preferred credit union, Pacific Cascade, and payments nearly $less than SantanderAll without the $down payment Kia took on Santander’s behalf claiming it was part of our loan agreement with Santander Sincerely, [redacted]
