We have a Day Cancellation Notice Policy as stated in the agreement with the Member (attached)We did receive a Day Cancellation Notice on 09/03/(attached), which would make the last day of the membership 10/03/Any charges/dues that were agreed upon within those Days would have to be paid and current for the membership to cancelled

Please see attached documentI filled out this cancellation notice in person at the gym in March I was not aware, nor was I ever made aware that my account had two separate account numbers (one for general gym membership and one for personal training classes)When I went to the gym to cancel my intention was to cancel ALL servicesThe employee who signed the attached form did not cancel all services as requested, nor did he inform me that there were separate accountsThe contract does not indicate that my accounts are not linked within the gym - I believe this is fraudulent and misleading on the gym's partThe billing staff member did indeed indicate that I could continue attending the gym for one year to utilize the 56+ personal training classes that have compounded on my account; I informed her that I did not want to use these classes and that I would like the money refunded since I had cancelled my services in MarchThe manager acknowledged that the employee who signed the cancellation form in March should have notified me that there were separate account numbers within the same gymAt this time, I would still like to have the money I have been charged since past the March cancellation refunded back to meThis gym misleads its members by putting services under multiple accounts and not informing them of suchThis is poor and fraudulent business practice and extremely poor customer service, as reflected in their Revdex.com rating of "F", and the many complaints that can be found online about this gym

Our records show that you signed up on 04/11/and made a down payment of $ I do not show any other payments made to the account to account for the $disputed amount you are requesting Please double check your records We have another facility located on [redacted] *** We would like for you to try it out for the next days in hopes that you might enjoy that location Your account would of course be put on a Freeze so no charges will be billed during that time If at the end of the days you are still unhappy please contact me to discuss

October 27, RE: Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted] , [redacted] [redacted] signed a contract with Fitness on July 29, for a six-month term As well as initialed for the contract to fall into an auto-renewal to pay the monthly payment on a month-to-month basis until client provides a written 30-day notice as required per the terms of the contract to cancel the account A cancellation notice was received from the client and the auto-renewal on the account was cancelled as the terms of the contract had not been fulfilled as they agreed to pay a total of $for the total contract price Early cancellation terms are stated on the contract and the attached letter was sent to the client to remind them of the terms and conditions of the contract they signed No refund is due as Fitness has and can fulfill our obligations stated within the terms of the contract The attached letter states how to cancel early

I have submitted a refund for the $facility fee taken I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused We are slowly working through these issues due to the closure of our Greenway location

The reasoning I am rejecting this is because I did not sign up for that location, it does not offer the amenities I was looking for There is no childcare, or classes I signed up for Greenway and 303, and I have already cancelled my account Therefore, I better not be getting billed any further I would really like a refund, since I was mislead to the growth of Fitness I now have to join another gym, but have already spent that money on this gym Please issue refund

The account 7289-96-was cancelled on 12/08/with the last payment date of 11/22/ Our records indicate there was not a cancellation notice sent in for the clients Personal Training contract A copy of the contract is attached for review along with our cancellation policy I spoke with Ms [redacted] and informed her of the cancellation policy and told her I would waive the 30-day cancellation notice I also discussed coming back into the facility to utilize the sessions that have been paid for as well as a comped 1year membership to utilize the sessions

I have refunded the account back the $as requested and verified it went through on 07/14/

I appreciate you cancelling my membership and that no further charges will be posted What about the $that you took on 4/20/ Please refund this as you closed the club with day notice

Thank you for your timely response. Unfortunately I would still like a refund of my initial membership dues. I lived miles from the closed location, the other location in surprise is an additional five miles, and while that does not seem like a lot it is enough to make it time prohibitive for me to use that location. I would not have signed a contract knowing the loop location was closing. Please refund my original membership fee, of $121. Thank you

As per the agreement signed we have provided a facility within miles of the closed location The facility located on *** and *** address *** * *** *** ** *** is open hrs for your convenience and the membership can be utilized there

The refund on the account was authorized on 07/09/through our *** billing services It takes 5-days to receive the refund back

Our records show that all accounts for the location were transferred over to new ownership on 12/15/2016. Once ownership was transferred over to Fitness From the Ground Up they assumed all liability. Any refunds or requests need to be made to Fitness From the Ground Up Fitness
