Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Great Neck Nissan never provided me with a "preliminary" buyers order In this day of “cut and paste” technology, my signature on such document should offer no persuasive evidence of the document's authenticityIf your office requests so, I will provide a copy of any specified document given to me from the dealerI am re-submitting the only "Buyers Order" I received from Great Neck Nissan, which clearly shows $18,as the vehicle price ("agreed price" before offset from trade-in)Contrary to the dealer's assertion that it did not withhold any information, and as indicated in my complaint, the dealer improperly withheld informing me of their $1,bonus cash-back incentive BEFORE my agreeing to a price, deceitfully obscured in its documents the rebate from my detection by imbedding the incentive into confusing and inconsistent figures and then hastily put the documents before me to signBelieving that the figures listed in the documents would reflect our verbally agreed purchase price ($17,385.00), I only checked the totals, which I found at the time to be approximately correct since I was not yet aware of the $1,incentiveSubsequently, upon further examination of documents provided to me from Great Neck Nissan, I then became aware of the rebateAgain, it should be noted that since Nissan credits the dealer in the amount of the incentive, the dealer will unjustly receive a $1,profit (which was to benefit the consumer, NOT the dealer) because, effectually, the dealer didn't lower the purchase price, since it artificially raised it $1,to $18,BEFORE applying the rebate for the same amountThe subject of my complaint filed with your bureau pertains to the rebate and overpaid sales tax, the latter, due to the dealer's manipulation of its figures in order to account for the listed artificial agreed purchase price of $18,instead of the actual agreed purchase price of $17,However, since Great Neck Nissan is raising the matter of my having complained to them about excess mileage on the vehicle, it is appropriate that I briefly respond to thisWhen I returned home from the dealer in the new car, before turning off the ignition, I observed the instrument panel and noticed that it was set to a function other than the odometerUpon setting it to read the odometer, I was surprised to see a reading of miles, which is excessive for a brand new vehicleSince my residence is about miles from the dealer, the actual millage on the vehicle was miles when I drove it out of their parking lotI complained to the dealer about the excessive millage, demanding it replace my car with another new oneTheir response was, in substance, that the excess millage was due to road testing in connection with new wheels I purchased as an accessoryI believe the dealer's excuse for the high millage is false, and, apparently, the dealer's awareness of the unacceptability of the millage was the reason the instrument panel was set to a function other than the odometerIt should be noted that, missing from the documents given to me at that time, was the NYS Deptof Motor Vehicles Form MVwhich is the only document disclosing the odometer reading for a new vehicleOnly after subsequently complaining to Great Neck Nissan about its failure to provide me with this document did I receive a copy of the document as an attachment to an emailIncidentally, it was this matter which raised my suspicion of this dealer and prompted me to review all documents in connection with this auto purchase In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Hello [redacted] We apologize for the repeat phone calls and have added you to our "DO NOT CALL" list and also made notes in our systemAgain, we are sorry for any inconvenienceHave a great weekend Thank you, Great Neck Nissan

To whom it may concern: The buyers order that Great Neck Nissan submitted to the Revdex.com is the preliminary one which is written by the salesperson and signed by both the customer and the sales manager upon agreement of terms The printed buyers order/bill of sale/finance agreement is done upon finalization of the terms with the dealership Business/Finance Manager At no time was any information withheld from [redacted] nor was he rushed to sign any documents This customer has already approached Great Neck Nissan for a refund concerning mileage on his vehicle after we upgraded his wheels per his request He had complained that the mileage required to road test his wheels was unacceptable and wanted a rebate This complaint is currently being handled by Revdex.com, NYS Attorney General and Nissan Consumer Affairs We have replied to all the agencies with the same documentation Respectfully, Stacey B [redacted] General Manager Great Neck Nissan

1) Great Neck Nissan does not require a form as [redacted] is describing Maybe he as something that we signed to verify his claim? 2) The $was a combination of tax, 1st month, bank fee and cap cost reduction All of it is clearly disclosed on his lease contract 3) Nissan corporation DOES NOT advertise that they will pay "minor damages, mileage and remaining balance" on any of their ads That would be impossible since every customer's situation is different 4) If there is a month balance due to Honda as a result of a delay on the part of Great Neck Nissan, we WILL issue a check upon receipt of a statement 5) Great Neck Nissan is not responsible for personal items left in vehicles Although our employees made every attempt to assist [redacted] to retrieve his EZ Pass, we were not able to locate it Since it is HIS EZ Pass, we recommend that he contact the Port Authority to replace it Great Neck Nissan CANNOT be responsible for subsequent parking expenses 6) This complaint is a duplicate to # 7) Complaint addressed above 8) Phil and Jordan have been interviewed regarding this complaint and verified all information stated above 9) Great Neck Nissan has offered to make a concession regarding this complaint Any further threats are unnecessary and confrontational Stacey B***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
At the outset, the document ("buyer's agreement") submitted by Great Neck Nissan with their response shows different information from that shown in the original document given to me (purchaser)Clearly, the authenticity of their submitted document is, without question, lackingKindly examine my document submitted as an attachment heretoOn my document you will clearly see that the VEHICLE PRICE ("agreed price") is $18,385.00, not $17,shown in their documentMy document also clearly shows sales tax of $969.02, not $shown in their documentAlso, kindly note the lack of hand written entries on my document. In fact, the subject business admits that I (purchaser) agreed to the selling price of $17,As indicated in my complaint, Great Neck Nissan never mentioned about the $1,rebate ("bonus cash-back" incentive) at the time of the sale or any time prior theretoHad they properly done so, I would have agreed to a selling price no higher than $16, 385.00, not $17,385.00, and certainly not $18,shown in the buyer's agreementAs indicated in my complaint, since Nissan credits the dealer in the amount of the incentive, the dealer will unjustly receive a $1,profit (meant for the consumer, not the dealer) because, effectually, it didn't lower the agreed selling price, since it artificially raised it $1,to $18,BEFORE applying the rebate by the same amountFurthermore, the subject business admits to my overpayment in sales taxThis was not an innocent oversight on the part of the dealer, since the overpayment ($86.25) was based on the artificial selling price of $18,shown in the buyer's agreementIn summary, as indicated in my complaint, the dealer improperly withheld informing me of their $1,bonus cash-back incentive, deceitfully imbedded the rebate into figures listed on all documents and then hastily put the documents before me to signBelieving that the figures listed in the documents would reflect our vberbally agreed selling price ($17,385.00), I only checked the totals, which I found at the time to be approximately correct (since I was not yet aware of the $1,incentive)Therefore, the dealer should refund me in the amount of the incentive plus overpaid sales tax, totaling $1,To date, I have not received from Great Neck Nissan a refund of $in overpaid sales tax (which it indicated in its response was already sent)However, if it does refund me said amount, then it is still obligated to refund me the balance of $1,000.00.*** *

Hello [redacted]  We apologize for the repeat phone calls and have added you to our "DO NOT CALL" list and also made notes in our system. Again, we are sorry for any  inconvenience. Have a great weekend.  Thank you,  Great Neck Nissan

In response to claims made by [redacted], Great Neck Nissan promised only to pay [redacted]’s remaining payments on his Honda lease. Additionally, we agreed to make physical repairs to the exterior of the vehicle and cover any physical damage bill that may occur. At no time were any over mileage charges...

discussed or promised. We have reached out to [redacted] on numerous occasions, but he refuses to acknowledge that the over mileage charges are his responsibility. Upon further review of all paper work in the deal, there is no documentation or agreement regarding mileage.
We do try to accommodate our customer's individual needs and did address his additional payments and repairs as agreed.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any further concerns.

Great Neck Nissan

After careful review of the customer's complaint, we would first like to apologize for any miscommunication between our dealership and [redacted].  Great Neck Nissan prides itself on customer satisfaction and is committed to resolving any customer complaints in a fair and reasonable...

manner.  To that end, we are issuing a full refund in the amount of $3195 to Nissan Motor Acceptance on [redacted]'s behalf. This will reflect a decrease in the principal amount that was originally borrowed.  This will not adjust her monthly payment, but will shorten her term. Additionally, please find a copy of the 84 month/100,000 mile extended service contract that [redacted] wishes to keep as well as a copy of the cancellation request form for the maintenance plan. As a courtesy, we have also upgraded [redacted] to the Great Neck Nissan Gold VIP card which entitles her to two years of oil changes at no charge at Great Neck Nissan, three years of tire and rim protection, three years of environmental protection and one year of car washes (once per month) at participating carwashes.  We genuinely hope this gesture will assist in forging a fresh start between Great Neck Nissan and [redacted].   Respectfully,   Salvatore A[redacted] General Sales Manager GREAT NECK NISSAN [redacted]

first of all I never even wanted a gold warranty. your dealer just jammed it in and I did the survey before knowing you guys screwed me over. I am not paying this car. you guys need to own up to ur mistake and pay this loan back because I read the other reviews and there has been alot of complaints. I read a woman did a trade in and you never paid it back. my dad was very furious and he even called on march 10 asking why did ur dealer take advantage of me. I am not paying one cent towards this car.

1) Great Neck Nissan does not require a form as [redacted] is describing.  Maybe he as something that we signed to verify his claim?
2) The $4000 was a combination of tax, 1st month, bank fee and cap cost reduction.  All of it is clearly disclosed on his lease contract.
3) Nissan corporation DOES NOT advertise that they will pay "minor damages, mileage and remaining balance" on any of their ads.  That would be impossible since every customer's situation is different.
4) If there is a month balance due to Honda as a result of a delay on the part of Great Neck Nissan, we WILL issue a check upon receipt of a statement.
5) Great Neck Nissan is not responsible for personal items left in vehicles.  Although our employees made every attempt to assist [redacted] to retrieve his EZ Pass, we were not able to locate it.  Since it is HIS EZ Pass, we recommend that he contact the Port Authority to replace it.  Great Neck Nissan CANNOT be responsible for subsequent parking expenses.
6) This complaint is a duplicate to #4.
7) Complaint addressed above.
8) Phil and Jordan have been interviewed regarding this complaint and verified all information stated above.
9) Great Neck Nissan has offered to make a concession regarding this complaint.  Any further threats are unnecessary and confrontational.
