My parents’ home needed new roofing, gutters & downspouts. It would be the first major home improvement since my father’s passing. Given his knowledge base, the task of sourcing a roofing company would have fallen to him. As basic as having a roof over your head is, the State of Ohio and its many regulatory agencies do not license roofers for their proficiency/skills, which eliminates them as a resource in narrowing choices for estimates.
So, with all the roofing companies out there, how do you know you’re really getting what you are paying for, either in labor and/or materials?
Enter Coverall’s Home Improvement Co. and [redacted]. He was able to explain to us, differences in materials and practices within the industry. Enough so that at an agreed upon fair price, we contracted with Coverall’s to do the work, scheduled for late September 2014.
Coverall’s and their Amish craftsmen showed up early on the scheduled date, and just like the many similar reviews, began the well-choreographed delivery and removal/replacement of materials for the new roof, taking just one day (including clean-up). Gutters and downspouts were completed the next day in a few hours (half day).
The most visible highlights that Coverall’s, along with [redacted] left us with:
>Modern dimensional shingles (roof finally matches the brick)
>Modern ridge venting, allowing improved temperature/humidity control and air movement within the attic, and
>Non-leaking gutters (with leaf guards)
This has improved our home’s look, function, safety & value.
So, a sincere thank you to [redacted] of Coverall’s for his knowledge, patience, logistic and organizational skills, and to all the Amish craftsmen for their hard work and roofing/construction expertise. If that encourages too much pride or vanity, then their work should be recognized as glory to God, even when doing it in the “English” world, where their presence was much appreciated. Would we recommend Coverall’s Home Improvement Company? Yes, without question. Those needing roofing work done, would be doing themselves a disservice by not putting Coverall’s on their short list when gathering estimates. In January, Coverall's Home Improvement Company installed a new roof and replaced my old gutters due to storm damage. The whole process was done in a timely and professional manner. Although I could not be home when the work was taking place, Ken kept me informed every step of the way. They did a thorough clean up afterwards. It had snowed during the process. They came back after the snow melted to make sure all of the debris had been picked up. I plan on using them to do other improvements to my home.

I would like to thank Ken and his employees for my beautiful roof! It only took two days to repair my roof AND garage! They really took their time in making sure the job was done right. Cleanup was a complete success! There were no nails or anything left on the ground. Besides my new roof, you couldn't even tell they were there! Plus, Ken even gave my a beautiful rocking chair!

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the work performed by the Coverall's work crew in replacing shingles on our roof on October 30, 2014. Everything [redacted] , President of Sales, stated would be done in our contract was performed to our satisfaction. It was comforting to know that the Amish work crew were not only roofers but master framers. They took great care in making sure that the shingles removed did not damage the house and/or landscaping. They were very punctual and worked very hard. At the conclusion of their work all 10 men worked around the house to make sure no shingles or nails were left on the ground. The dumpsters were removed quickly from the grounds so that our neighbors would not view and eye sore on our property. The lead supervisor, Leroy, was always available to answer questions and was very professional in guiding the work of his men. At the conclusion of their work, they left a Amish made rocking chair in appreciation for the opportunity to work for us. Again, my wife and I were extremely pleased with our experience with Coverall's Home Improvement and would highly recommend their workmanship. The roof looks great!!

We interviewed many contractors for the replacement of our siding and downspouts and Ken [redacted] and his crew proved to be professional, thorough and very helpful in uncovering our needs to complete the project to our expectations. Ken also fixed issues with our roof that were had over-looked.

March 11, 2016 I hired Coverall's Home Improvement to put siding and a metal roof on my shed. My shed was older but by the time the Amish finished the job, my shed looked brand new. I couldn't believe how beautiful the workmanship was! They did a wonderful job! Everything Coverall's said, they did and more. They also did a wonderful cleanup. Just had my roof replaced this past week...just want to say what a wonderful experience I had...provided by Coveralls Home Improvement !! Can't say enough good things about them, after several other estimates and price quotes, Coverall's was the BEST, all the way around !! My husband and I contracted Coverall’s for a complete new roof and gutters for our 1930 home and garage. [redacted] came to our home on two different occasions to discuss the work and ensure that the contract was exactly how we both wanted it, so to avoid any misunderstandings. Our roof was leaking and he had a crew out there within a couple of days of signing to place an emergency tarp over the entire roof. The work was done just a couple of weeks later on June 30th.

The crew was there on time and was very professional and polite. [redacted] was there on site both days to check in with us to see how everything was going and to check to be sure that we were pleased with the work. His foreman ([redacted]) was also very receptive to our questions and concerns about the work. Clean up was as if they were never here. Everything looked as it did before they started.

Coveralls was contracted to remove and replace our roof and gutters. The owner was very knowledgable and forthcoming about his business and the importance of customer service. The reference we received about his company was very good and they did not disappoint.

The crew arrived early and removed the double layers of old shingles, old vents..installed ridge venting and quality shingles ,..replaced some areas of shaker shingle with new , beautiful siding ...all in about 8 hours on a 42 square roof...the following morning all our gutters, with gutter guard were installed before noon and it looks great.

Pricing was more than fair considering the top shelf materials and excellent craftsmanship,, the crew leader and all the employees are very customer friendly and come highly recommended by our family.

Coveralls did top quality work. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. They provide an excellent product and stand behind their work. This was such a good experience with one of our rental properties, we had them re-roof our personal residence two weeks later.

We have had numerous projects done at our home but none can compare to the great job that Coveralls Home Improvement has done. We can honestly say that we have never had such a positive experience. From the very beginning, Ken worked with us on our insurance claim and everything he explained to us was exactly how things happened, from the price quotes to the quality of his work. The Amish crew he employs were totally awesome, polite and extremely qualified. Their work ethics were amazing. They installed a new roof on our home and garage in 7 1/2 hours.They had to remove two layers of shingles in that time frame and install the new shingles.They arrived at 7 o'clock in the morning and after a short lunch, they were finished at 4 0'clock. You couldn't tell they had been there after the clean-up, everything was spotless. They cleaned the debris all day and everyone finished at the same time. We would definitely use Coveralls for another job at our home. Too bad they don't do kitchen and bathroom remodeling. If they did ,we would be on their calendar. Coverall's was here yesterday to replace my roof. They were very efficient and did and excellent job even in the rain. My new roof looks great and now I will get a reduced rate for my homeowner's insurance. Thank you Ken.

I used the Revdex.com site to find high quality roofers with positive customer reviews. As a result, I contacted Coverall's Total Improvement Co. [redacted] came to my property the same afternoon of my initial call. When [redacted] arrived, he spent time listening to my concerns. He then explained how my current roof is failing and how Coverall's would protect my home.

[redacted] then took the time to meet my wife to ensure all questions were answered. While doing so, [redacted] explained how Coverall's offers a full service roof replacement. He explained different products on the market and discussed why he selects the products he uses. He continued to explain why he uses Amish labor and how the roof would be replaced. He stressed that Coverall's would not leave my roof exposed. His crew would only tear off what would be replaced.

Once we agreed to use Coverall's, [redacted] was in constant connumication. He was present when the insurance adjuster was here. He also arranged to have an architect available due to potential framing needs. Lastly, [redacted] replaced the gutter and downspouts as part of the project to ensure the rain is properly drained. With our home's slope, [redacted] felt a 6-in gutter would be a better system.

During the project, [redacted] was present both days and came back for a walk through on a third day. [redacted]'s customer focus is great in an industry that is full of poor workmanship.

I had two other contractors provide cost estimates. One would not give a price unless he represented me with the insurance company. The other spent over an hour on the roof and simply gave me a pile of brochures.

I will use [redacted] for future projects. In addition to roofing, Coverall's can complete new construction projects. I look forward to having Coverall's back out for such a project.

I would, and have already, recommend Coverall's to neighbors.
