Johnson Utilities has billed me for 5, gallons for several months I live by myself and don't have a pool I don't take a shower times a day for minutes and there are no sprinklers Johnson Utilities ignored my letter in which I told them that it is simply impossible for a single person to use 5, gallons every days I also disputed their bills which don't reflect actual meter readings but reading which according to them are "rounded up" Their bills are supposed to be legal documents and this is close to forgery They would not give me a reason why they would show "readings" which are rounded up to the next 1, gallons The only explanation "This is how we do it." The meter shows even gallons or a single gallon Other water companies show the exact reading of the water meter on the reading dateI feel that they figured out how to cheat customers and take advantage of the lack of competition

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, Delma [redacted]

On 2/26/a disconnection notice was mailed to Ms [redacted] residence stating that $was past due and due by 3/8/to avoid disconnection of serviceOn 3/5/a statement was mailed to Ms [redacted] stating that $was past due and $was due on 3/25/On 3/9/payment had not been received and service was disconnected for nonpaymentOn 3/9/Mrs [redacted] contacted Johnson Utilities Customer Service Department stating that she had made a payment via bank billBank bills are usually through a customer’s personal online banking accountWhen a bank bill payment is made the money is taken out of the customers account right away, the bank then prints a check and mails it via USPS mail to the companyIt has been Johnson Utilities experience that bank bills do not get delivered on the date the bank estimates that the USPS will deliver itThere is a service that can be purchased whereas the bank bills can be electronically delivered but there are additional fees for the service, further, different companies offer different banksThere is not a company that would be able to capture ALL financial institutionsJohnson Utilities has reviewed companies that offer the service and the cost is too highIf a customer is in danger of being disconnected for nonpayment a bank bill is usually not the best way to ensure the payment is delivered on timeOn 3/9/Ms [redacted] Paid the past due amount of $as well as a reconnection fee to restore serviceOn 3/10/Ms [redacted] ’ bank bill payment was delivered and credited to the accountThe account balance on 3/10/was $that was due on 3/25/

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Johnson Utilities have corrected their threats when it comes to my mother as well as the threatened higher interest rate, but they have not mentioned anything about the debt owed not being our responsibilityThat house was a rental at the time linked through [redacted] We had moved out at the end of March 2008, therefor any utilities used would have been out of our name and back in to the new renters or the property management companyI have reached out to the *** and they advised for me to contact [redacted] which would be Johnson Utilities office manager and it would be her responsibility to research the rental account with [redacted] As of days ago, I left Ms [redacted] a voice mail requesting assistanceShe had her rep call me this morning stating it would not be their responsibility to research and that we would still owe the money even though we did not live thereI advised [redacted] that per the [redacted] we were to speak with [redacted] only and that they advised she would be responsible to conduct the researchAt that point [redacted] advised she would have [redacted] contact me and that is the last I have heard from themBottom Line is this house was a rental and we were not living there at the time of these accrued charges, hence why they should be dropped Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Johnson Utilities has failed to address on repeated attempts, and also in this complaint, the issue of the billing date on their statements and the date of the mailing of the statements Until Johnson Utilities directs their third party mailing service to mail the statements on the same date of the printing, all late fees for all customers should be returned Because if the staements are mailed a week late, then the late fees should be extended a week as well And, of course, Johnson Utilities is not do that And for the record, Johnson Utilities has in the past REFUSED to waive late fees for me Regards, [redacted] ***

Johnson Utilities receives mail from the [redacted] dailyAll mail received is entered into the system the same day or the following morningJohnson Utilities does not manually enter checks into the system, the checks are scanned and importedWhen a customer pays through their personal bank account (bank bill pay) the customers bank will take the payment from the customers account right away and then cuts a check and the check is mailed to Johnson Utilities office, typically they come from back eastThe bank will also provide the customer with a date of when they expect the [redacted] will deliver the mail to Johnson UtilitiesThe [redacted] is not a trackable delivery service so the banks ETA is not always accurateJohnson Utilities advises its customers that a bank bill pay can take up t days to receiveJohnson Utilities has many payment options, pay by phone, pay online (this can take up to days to receive due to the third party vendor), through the drop box, in the lobby, personal checked mailed via [redacted] and ACH (automatic withdraw from the customers account on the due date)The best way to pay to avoid late fees is ACHThere is no charge for any of the payment methods listed

Johnson utilities has the WORST customer service than any other business I have come accrossAs soon as the reps answer the phone you can tell that they are unhappy and miserable people who wish to make you just as miserable and unhappy as they areI called just to ask a question about my bill....I spoke to three different people and they were all rude and unable to answer my questionsIf I had a choice to change water companies I would do it in a heartbeatUnfortunately I don't have the ability until I move citiesThere are so many more unhappy customers on social mediaWhen is it enough to bring a company down? When does the consumer win?

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me However, there practice of issuing shut off notices when payment even if partial is unacceptableIn my case the matter was entirely accidental, and as a good customer should have been taken under considerationPast dealings wit the company have made me reactionary rather than understandingDuring the first few months of service when I was transitioning from California to Arizona and working in California as a substitute teacher they billed my credit card twice, and when unable to reach them by phone, I was left with little option but to dispute the second chargeIn return they billed me nearly $for the cancellation of the duplicate payment and refused to credit my account or offer satisfactory resolutionWhen I was back in Arizona and went in to their office to talk with their manager we was rude and unaccommodatingHe blamed me for the cancellation saying I should have spoke to them directly and seemed not to understand that some people work without access to internet, or phone during their work day - especially if they are out of townIn this event, however, I was mistakenI will gladly pay the cents, but to this day still feel I am owed for the charges associated with their error which was over $This was to a prior address we rented at when we first moved to AZ in I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, Mark M [redacted]

No such disclosure regarding time to reconnection was mentioned When I asked when, the representative told me that he could not tell me when So I asked if the water would be on by sun down, the representative laughed and said "yes, I would think sooner rather than later" Johnson utilities routinely lies about and downplays issues brought to them My water would have been paid day prior had they accepted calls during their business hours This is not an acceptable response, it is a brush off and a lie

My husband and I always half our Johnson Utilities bill (because it's so expensive) every monthHe pays half and I pay halfHe writes a check, I write a check and we put the checks in the envelope and drop in the night drop slot at Johnson UtilitiesWell, we then get a disconnect notice saying they only got partial payment! As it turns out, they lost one of the checks and only processed oneSo who is opening these envelopes and not looking at them carefully?! Why are they so careless?! I do not like Johnson Utilities customer service! They bascially said "it's your problem"! So now my check is out there floating around somewhere! I think I'm going to use [redacted] online banking from now onJohnson Utilities are the worst business I've ever dealt with! Beware!!

This response is inaccurateOhio (a man who is in charge of sewage) gave my husband Lance his phone number and told us to call him every time our house smelled and he would come over to observe and see what we have been talking aboutWe have called on multiple occasions only to be ignored Whatever this standard is that you say is acceptable on your logger is crazyNobody in the whole neighborhood can even be outside when the smell gets to be at it's worstWith the reputation Johnson Utilities has for their negligent business practices how can we be sure that these so called "loggers" even work properly or that the readings weren't a lie?? Johnson Utilities has multiple complaints against them with the smell around San Tan Valley and it is high time you step up and have some integrityWhat exactly does it mean when you "dump force mains into the gravity line?" Because you must do this every single night, because as all of our neighbors can attest their is a foul, horrific odor every nightThe night of Halloween all the people that came to our neighborhood commented on the rank sewage smellSomething must be done and if you as a company can't stand behind good business practices and have integrity you will be hearing from our attorney

Johnson Utilities claims that they receive thousands of checks per day and they don't look through them allIf they are not looking at the checks and connecting them to the account to which they are being applied how do they know which accounts to apply the payments to? I received a bill that indicated I have a $credit the other day and today I received a notice that my service will be shut off if I don't pay my billSo is it safe to assume their accounting department actually has no idea where to apply payments?

The high nitrate warning that was sent to the media and posted on Johnson Utilities website on 6/and then lifted on 6/was not for the subdivision Mr [redacted] residence is at

Johnson utilities did not mention felony for tampering nor did they mention original rep had mentioned they were in the wrong for disconnection as well as just stated that "it CAN take up too days to receive" keyword can not that it will rep on phone mentioned they received payment that day at 4:pm mins before their cutoff claimed on notice that says 4:45pm Johnson utilities has a history of neglect towards customers and is trying to justify their fraud and theft as I never paid the 50$ my wife did so their facts are incorrect and manufactured to make them seem in the rightIt is ironic how many people were in office complaining about same issue when wife was trying to get re-instated I like how Johnson utilities claims all these non-important information about how their customer was upset due to their negligence and that they did mention how long of a customer I have been and how many issues I have had since been a customerTheir facts are misconstrued with no proof of complete conversations with multiple representatives they are only coming from the rep I am complaining about and mentioning the same rep that was hostile towards wife and I
