Our experience with Laura was outstanding From the initial planning visit to the final walkthrough, we felt that Laura was always looking out for our best interests We contacted Laura about ideas on how to improve our kitchen Laura spent our first meeting together really getting to understand what we had in mind She proposed high level ideas and always took our feedback into account Within a week after that initial meeting, we had plans back from Laura on a vision for how to remodel our kitchen Laura took our old 1990s designed claustrophobic kitchen arrangement and literally transformed the entire condo Everything from flooring to cabinets and appliances We gained a peninsula with a tremendous amount of space for preparation of food as well as entertaining guests And the storage is absolutely amazing In our small condo, we now have the place to put everything and then more Big changes and small touches - Laura had an eye not only for practical uses of space, but she has some wonderfully creative ideas on the right finishes and the right looks for our kitchen The work was done to perfection We were not in town for the duration of the projectLaura kept in constant contact with us, telling us about the progress and getting our opinion on any changes required as always happens during any remodeling project The end result is spectacular Our condo has been transformed We have an amazing kitchen, an incredible new bathroom, new flooring and a wonderful new layout for our retirement home
Laura is an experienced professional and did a great job for usHer good eye for picking materials was very helpfulShe did a great job of scheduling/following up on workHer contractors were all extremely competent at what they do (backsplash installation, electrical, countertop)She brought us peace of mind that the work would be first-classThe project took longer than anticipated, due to provider backups but this is to be expected in any jobNo major glitchesWe are thrilled with the look and functionality of our new kitchen and master bath spaces The project turned out to be more expensive than we had planned, but that was due to our choice of high-end countertops Laura was able to negotiate a very good price for us, however She worked hard for us!
I had my kitchen remodeled by this woman approximately or yrsago Very expensive, does not take credit cards but most upsetting is she DOES NOT LISTEN I asked that my counters be inches because of have a bad back She said it was not possible I have now been in homes with higher counters I curse her every time I cook I have to sit to cut vegetables, 1/of the prep time, I have to sit because my back screams She said I could not have a farm sink, I have been into many houses that have exactly the sink I wanted Unfortunately, of my neighbors were waiting for my job to be done When I told them the price, all went to other companies

My wife and I have never been more pleased From the start, she arrived at our condo and evaluated what we needed done and returned with great ideas and very clear layouts and digitally imagined appearances We left to go North in May and Kitchens by Laura took over During the period we were in Chicago, she was in constant touch with us, asking for our thoughts about choices and finally she solved a major problem, saving us from having to replace our floor because of tile differences We arrived a few days ago and were totally in awe of the professional work that she and her contractor did She's a one in a million!
