Joseph's Coat Painting

Review: Joseph's Coating has little regard for their work. The splatters on the concrete, house and outdoor furniture is only the beginning. They tore holes in our furniture trying to clean-up the paint splatters. I still have paint splatters through-out. They coated our concrete in November of 2014 and we have major peeling and the surface is very slippery after we were told this was the correct application near a pool. Since then, my wife and I have had major falls, but thankfully no major injuries. According to the owner ([redacted]), the peeling was due to faulty product, but it has been over 4 months to get this corrected. We are in the process of finding another contract to pressure wash the peeling paint and coat properly. We will be filling a claim to reclaim our cost.Desired Settlement: Full cost to repair this issue. At this point, I have been lied to so many times, I do not trust [redacted] or his crew on my property.

Response:

The customer has been waiting for 4 months. We have been working with the product manufacture on how to proceed in order to not have any more issues. We followed the process as requested by the manufacture and it failed in more ways than one. We consistently notified the customer of the process and where we were at. Our paint rep was in contact regularly with the customer to explain that this process may take some time. We wanted to make the situation went as smooth as possible and fix it without causing the customer any more problems. We finally got a response from the manufacture and they explained it was there fault and gave us a process to fix the floor. We than contacted the customer and notified him of this, but let him know we wanted to proceed when the weather was right and we wouldn't have any reason the floor would peel again due to the mornings still being a bit colder. He refused the date and wanted it to be sooner, and for his sake we let him know it would not be the right move. If you look over our reviews, our awards and who we are, we are about customer service and a good product. Majority of what the customer is saying is not truthful nor accurate and we have made many efforts to help as much as possible, even supplying the customer with his money back.
