purchase and seems it was lost in transit,  once we were able to verify a balance still on the product, the refund was issued. I hope this clears everything up, - Junkcard Team

was sent via [redacted] First Class Mail. The customer should be receiving the check by the end of this week, the week of June [redacted].

We have requested that the card be returned to our facility. Once it has been received, a full refund will be issued via check. As of 8/**/15, the product has not been received at our facility.

The card was mailed back to them on 08/**/2015 by [redacted]. Today is 08/**/2015 --- I know the card would have received the card by now. I shouldn't have to return the card anyway, but did. I also scanned the back and front of the card and attached that to an email that was sent on the same day as I mailed the card. Junkcard emailed me (evidently after you notified them) that they did not receive the card and had not received my emails.  I have proof of the emails that I sent to them if required. I cannot believe that the [redacted] did not deliver the card to them.  If you need further proof of the emails sent or copies of the [redacted] merchandise card, I can provide that. The card would never have been sent to me if I had pursued the issue.  It was ordered on 7/*/2015 -- after my email to them almost a month later, they said that the card had been returned to them - but they did not try to re-send the card or notify me in any way. I emailed them with the inquiry and the card was then sent -- but with $0 on it.  I want the $64.20 refunded in a check as soon as possible.

The merchandise return card in question had been in our possession since early January 2014 and was valid for its full amount when it was shipped out to the customer in February. The customer received the card on March [redacted], 2014. The card was then used on March [redacted] in store for the first time,...

after the customer already had possession of the card. Cards are not valid for in store use unless the actual physical card is presented at the register, so the seller of the card could not have used the card in store to make a purchase. We are unable to issue a refund as the customer, or someone around them perhaps, is the only person who could have used this card.

Review: They confirmed my giftcard was worth $80.00, in return to selling it to them , I would receive a check for $51.99.

Within10 days of receiving my giftcard by mail.

I mailed it on 4/**/2015...

They state they have not received it by mail yet. The post office is slow but not that slow.

My confirmation shows they had receivied it on May *, 2015.

And I have written three times, they reply with 'we have not received it'...Desired Settlement: My check for $51.99

Review: I was offered $192.50 for my $250 gift card. I followed all instructions and mailed out the gift card on 7/**/15. It is now a week later 7/**/15 I have emailed several times about my payment. I haven't received any email or communication from this company, nor my payment for my gift card. This is so frustrating. I didn't know this company was going to be this horrible and I feel I was scamed out of my money.Desired Settlement: I sent out a $250 gift card for Victoria's Secret. I want my gift card back with the full amount on it or a check for the full amount I sent.

Review: I brought physical giftcard [ 'The Limited' Giftcard Physical ] from [redacted] paid $169.80 (Giftcard value is 257.93) on February **, 2014. Shipped on March [redacted] 2014. Order #[redacted]

During my very first time using physical card in store on October **, 2014 - store told me card is no longer valid.

Then I called The Limited ###-###-#### they said someone used in Store on following dates: March **, 2014 amount of $250 and June **, 2014 amount of $7.93. (I have not been to 'the limited' on these two dates). Also, note during this time I have the actual physical giftcard in my possession, so how can this be used in a store by someone else? 'The Limited' Store clerk must of manually entered the codes?

Final Response I got from [redacted] on December **, 2014:

[redacted]After speaking with The Limited customer service, we have been told that the card was used for an in store purchase. Additionally, all purchases on the card were made after the card has been sold to you.

Unfortunately we are unable to obtain any further information on these purchases and are unable to issue a refund since the purchases were made after the card was delivered.[redacted]

My complaint:

I didn't use the giftcard. [redacted] didn't secure the giftcard code on the card. The original seller or anyone who handled the card before it's shipped to me can easily write down the numbers and try use the card shortly after its shipped to me.

That is problem that junkcard has to fix. Plus n their website they have 100% guaranteed - and now they are not honoring their guaranteed.

I need refund of $169.80 (amount that I paid).Desired Settlement: I need refund of $169.80. (original amount that I paid).

I have contacted The Limited again after I posted on Revdex.com, and was told the first amount March **, 2014 amount of $250 was an online purchase (but they will not give me name of the purchaser)i can guaranteed you I didn't make that online purchase. please work with 'the limited' to investigate further who made that purchase and that person should be accountable to pay for this giftcard.thanks

On 6/**/15 I mailed 12 gift cards totaling $348.75 - [redacted] Tracking # [redacted]. Junkcard received these gift cards on 7/*/15 at 1:16pm.
To date we have not received payment of $348.75 nor has Junkcard responded to any inquiries made requesting payment information. There is no phone # to call. I have repeatedly requested information and provided my phone # with regards to transaction # **SSN**. Still NOTHING!!!!!

Review: On 6/**/15 I mailed 12 gift cards totaling $348.75 - with [redacted] Tracking number provided. Junkcard received these gift cards on 7/*/15 at 1:16pm. To date we have not received payment of $348.75 nor has Junkcard responded to any inquiries made requesting payment information. There is no phone number to call. I have repeatedly requested information and provided my phone number with regards to transaction [redacted]. Still NOTHING!!!!!

After submitting my complaint on the Revdex.com bureau and on [redacted] website I received an email saying that they have not processed our payment because they needed an explanation how we obtained all our gift cards.

I RESPONDED stating that we never received any communication about this nor a phone call as listed in my complaint on their website. I informed them that we obtained the gift cards through an employee recognition award program we had at our previous company awarding employees of the month or for job well done acknowledgements. We now sold this company and inherited these unused gift cards.

After responding on their website, I received an email from Junkcard on 7/**/15 stating: [redacted].

The total amount owed to us $348.75 or the gift cards unused with original balances. To date 8/**/15, we have not received the return of our gift cards.

I again wrote Junkcard.com on their website complaint department asking for a tracking number and they did not have one to provide to me. They responded that it was sent via mail [redacted] first class mail.

We should have received the gift cards back by now. I find it very irresponsible that they would mail these gift cards without a tracking number or that it took this long for a response only after posting a complaint on the Revdex.com site.

Again on August *, 2015 I received this email from Junkcard.com

I have informed Junkcard.com if we do not receive our gift cards in full value or a check for them as agreed upon for $348.75 we will be taking legal action.

Yesterday 8/**/15 I received an email stating that Junkcard.com responded to my complaint on Revdex.com stating the following which is completely false and this complaint and review should not be closed as the issue has not been resolved nor have they made good on returning the gift cards or paid for the gift cards.

Revdex.com has received a response to your Customer Review submission. The business provided the following response: [redacted]. All this contact information has been provided to Junkcard.com as well numerous times and I have never received a phone call nor do they list a phone number to contact them to speak to a live representative.

This company is obviously scamming consumers and businesses such us ours.

They originally accepted my order of selling them gift cards knowing quite well the quantity we had, which stores and in the amount of $25.00 per gift card selling it to them at a lower rate.

I want proof that these gift cards were sent back to me or I expect a check mailed to my overnight as we have been inconvenienced enough. [redacted]

Below is chain of communication from their contact box on their website junkyard.com

This is a lie. I never received any communication if you do not want my caress you should return the Most. We are a private equity company and sold a company we owned who had a employee recognition program which honored employees with rewards in gift cards. Since we sold this company we have many gift cards on hand that we need to sell.

Review: I originally ordered a merchandise card from Junkcard 07/**/2015.and paid $64.20 for a card worth $83.43. I did not receive the card. Emailed Junkcard on 07/**/2015. They replied that the card had been returned as "addressee unknown", I advised them that didn't make any sense since we've lived in same address for over 40 years. Received the card on 8/*/2015. Tried unsuccessfully to get the card balance online and then called [redacted] on 08/**/2015. The rep said there is no money ($0.00) on this card. Emailed Junkcard again on 08/**/2015 to tell them that there is no money on the card. I received a response from them to mail the card back, so I mailed the card back and emailed them with a scanned copy of the cards to them. To date, no other reply from them. I've emailed them on 08/**/2015 and 08/**/2015 and again on 08/**/2015 with no response. I advised them to send a check back to me for the refund instead of refunding it back to my credit card since my credit card has been closed (someone stole the information from the credit card - the card had to be closed due to this fraud). I advised Junkcard I would file a complaint with Revdex.com if no reply by 08/**/2015, and that is what I am doing. I want my $64.20.Desired Settlement: Junkcard is to mail a refund check to me for $64.20. (what I paid for an [redacted] merchandise card worth $83.43.

Review: On May **, 2015 I sent in gift cards that I no longer wanted for cash via check. On May **, 2015 the company Junkcard.com sent me an email stating that they received the cards and sent payment out to me. My transaction # is [redacted]. After 13 days of not receiving check I contacted the company by email stating that I have not received the check as of that day. I received a response back on June **, 2015 asking me if I received my check yet. I contacted the company the same day about not receiving it. I have contacted the company via email on June **, **, and **, 2015. I finally received a response back on June **, 2015 about the company asking support to issue another check to me with the word replacement on it, if I receive the other check please disregard it. But as of June **, 2015 I have yet to receive any check from the company. You are unable to contact the company by phone only email which makes the problem worse because you are unable to actually talk to a live person.Desired Settlement: I would like for my check to be actually mailed to me and have it sent certified mail return receipt requested because at that point that is proof that it has been mailed and I have received it.

Review: I ordered and was charged for a Hooters Gift Card. There's been no communication from them, no email confirmation, no contact since the order and I have contacted them by email and haven't received any response. They have an F rating on Revdex.com and they don't have any phone number listed on their website. So I consider this charge to be "fraud" and want a refund.
