In late August we lost our dog of yearsMy family decided to purchase a chocolate lab puppy and we wanted to give the mourning process a little timeDuring our search we found Jurgenson Kennels - after numerous emails and phone calls that were returned promptly we decided to put down a deposit on a puppy that would be born in early Sept *** was very quick to respond when the deposit was to be taken for the puppy , I decided to put down instead of the required During the second week of Sept I began to email Jurgenson kennels a couple of times a week to check on the status of the puppies from the litter of TessAt the end of Sept I received a email from Jurgenson's stating that she had been sending out a mass email and had just found out that it was not reaching peopleShe stated that the entire litter had died but Tess was okAt that time I started to do some research on Revdex.com on the kennel and found that she has given this same excuse in the pastI emailed the kennel to find out if I could get my deposit refunded and *** said that she would be more than happy to refund the depositAnother week went by and no refund was granted and she did not respond to emails and phone callsTwo weeks later she returned the email and stated that she was working on the farm and did not have time to reply to emails ( this is interesting due to the fact that she owns a business and returned emails within hours when I was putting the deposit down)I asked her when she would be able to refund my deposit and she said she had to wait for other puppies to be soldSince that time until today 10/22/I have not heard from Jurgenson's Kennel and I do not have my deposit backIn closing - my recommendation to anyone reading this is TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED BREEDERShe not only broke our wish of a new member to our family , she stole our moneySTAY AWAY

I am in the process of attempting to get my deposit back on a puppy that was originally due late-March, then changed to mid- to late-AprilWe are now into May and I have not even heard if the litter was bornEarlier in the process, I experienced a lack of communication from the business owner, and then I told her I would not be following through with purchasing a puppy from herShe then responded quickly via email and we came to a conclusion that if I needed to contact her, I would both call AND email so that she would be sure to receive at least one of my messagesThe other end of the agreement was that she would reply to my attempt to contact her within hours of my attempt, as well as notifying me within hours of the puppy being bornShe has not held up her end of this agreement thus far and I am requesting that my deposit be refundedI have yet to hear from herI would say that my overall experience is very similar to others who have left a negative reviewI would save your time, money, and effort and find a different breeder to work withHer claims of poor internet reception are bogus because she will reply almost immediately to inquiries of new customers wishing to put down a deposit, and then all communication with her after the deposit is down is completely goneDon't be fooled by her website that is full of information, etc

It is obvious to us that *** Jurgerson is not interested in finding out if her lines of dogs have a hereditary problem that is being passed onto the puppies Instead of working with us, she has continually avoided us She never returned phone calls, and it has become evident her emails to us really are traps to get us to write something that will then be twisted and used against us We stand by the fact that we have done nothing wrong with our dog, and the epilepsy is hereditary The food and treats we feed her are the same food and treats MILLIONS of other dogs are fed everyday I have never heard of other dogs having seizures or other problems with the food or treats we use If that was the case, they would not make the food or treats Our 14-year old lab ate the same food everyday and never had a problem And as for us taking our dog to a neurologist to rule out other things than epilepsy, well, that does not make sense for us Why should we pay $5,for a MRI on a dog that we only paid $for? It does not benefit us in any way We have to treat our dog the same way, whether she has a MRI or not This information will only benefit Jurgerson Kennels It is clear that even if we have the testing done on our dog, no matter how clear the results that it is epilepsy, *** will continually throw excuses out there to discredit us, or the test, or the vet, or whatever it takes to make it look like we did something wrong or are lying The contract is really a joke and worthless There is no way *** Jurgerson will ever uphold her contract This has been a miserable experience and we sure hope other people read this and take their business elsewhere

I do not know what the response was as my pc will not let me view itBut I have sent the deposit refund to them, so I do not know what there is to reject?

I have been in contact with *** *** about their dog ***. I am aware of the surgery they have had done. All I need from *** to resolve this is a statement from her vet in writing that the luxating patella is definitely NOT due to an injury and is definitely
inherited. The information from her vet stated on the report on June 27, 2014 that she "more than likely has a congenital malformation of sulcus, necessitating surgery". I have tried to explain the difference to *** between congenital and hereditary. Congenital is present and existing from the time of birth. Hereditary is the transmission of genetic traits from parents to offspring. The hereditary material is DNA in the ovum and sperm, so the offspring's heredity is determined at the moment of conception. She did have her vet send another copy of the Patellar Luxation information from OFA's website. There is too much information to type all of it but in one section it states, "It can be present at birth or from trauma to the knee joint or ligaments in the knee. This disease can be inherited, and therefore serious consideration should be taken before breeding a dog with luxating patellas." In another section it states, "In older patients, signs may develop rapidly and may be associated with injury or strenuous activity. It is possible to have a luxating patella on both legs. This is most commonly seen in dogs that inherited the disease." I understand *** is not an older dog. But she does have the luxating patella in one leg, not both. I have spoken to Dr *** *** at OFA and he said although it is often times a hereditary issue you cannot rule out injury. That is why I ask that *** have her vet verify in writing that it definitely is not an injury and is definitely hereditary in nature. My guarantee covers issues that are hereditary in nature. *** herself has stated that it is but I have not yet received anything from her vet stating so. If it is indeed hereditary I would be willing to split the cost of the surgery as she has asked, even though my guarantee states I do not cover any vet bills for any reason what so ever. If she can provide this to me we could have this all resolved

Unfortunately we made the mistake by not looking up this "supposed" breeder before putting a deposit down on a particular breed of dog After reading these complaints and doing research, I found out that not only is this fraud, as far as this is website a fake, but we we were victims of her fraud The other complaints explain the EXACT experience we went through She will email you when you are interested in putting money down and deposit your money, and you will NEVER hear from her again BEWARE, and do NOT fall for this scam I also ccap'd her and found she has a criminal background I am now figuring out how to stop her from hurting others Not only did we lose $200, but we lost hope of having a new family member, our kids were upset, and we spent a lot of time and energy on this NON exist ant company!

I emailed the *** when I found out *** was not bred and have not heard from them sinceI have chocolate puppies due soonDeposits are non refundable but since I do not have a male chocolate puppy available at this time I have no problem refunding their depositThat being said, I would
need their mailing address since I would not be able to refund it through paypal due to the time passes since they placed the depositHad they requested their deposit back from me I would have gladly done so
