The order for the Customer was processed, the tracking number was issued and the item went out for shipment Nevertheless, as per Customer's request, the order was cancelled after the and as a courtesy, all the restocking fees were waived, leaving the Customer only with the cancellation
fee, as per store policy

The business' response mistates the facts and omits significant details, including the dozens of emails I've sent trying to get them to ship, the fact that they sent me a shipping noticed the day before they shipped the ottoman (seven months late), giving me no time to make arrangements to accept the signature required shipment, the multiple unanswered emails and calls after the shipment was returned, the fact that I explicitly told the shipping department -- and have emails to prove it -- that I do not have a *** or UPS account and asking for an alternative, which has been ignored in subsequent responses, and now they are "offering" to ship the owed item at $79, even though I paid expensive shipping the first time, in September, when the item should have been sentI've paid shipping, I am not paying againThey could make a semblance of an effort to provide decent customer service, vs repeatedly offering untrue and misleading information ("it will ship this week" - about times)This company cannot seem to get their story straightAt this point, the ottoman ought to be delivered to me, free of additional charge, at my convenienceThis is an item I paid for!

First of all I cancelled my order before you guys processed it.The main reason I'm arguing is because this is a FRAUDAnd it was clearly exposed from the email you guys sent to your backend systemI paid for the entire amount for a furniture that was manufactured from *** but you guys were getting it from ***And to fool customers you are making sure that the customer doesn't know where did the furniture came from Please NO indications the item came from *** on packaging or invoice This is how you were making sure !!!!This is appalling!! And that's why I want my complete money back including the cancellation fees

The reality is that Manhattan Home Design is just stonewallingThey have cheated me out of $and sent me a defective productThey have taken no steps to remedy the situation and address the complaintThe only option they provided is asking for more money to send another product, which is what seems to be their usual deceitful practice. This is, in essence, a scamI am calling for Revdex.com to investigate this, not just provide a forum for this useless back-and-forth with this unscrupulous company.

This company is trying to weasel their way out of this. I never mistook this chair for a genuine Eames chair and knew it was a replica when I bought it but their site states that "[redacted]". This cushioning is crap. I was in the furniture business for 18 years and know what good cushioning is. This chair is unusable because it is so hard. This company just responded with their "pat" answer. Yes, they issued a RMA number but want to charge me up to 25% restocking fee for a chair that is not as described. This is what is known as false advertising and misrepresenting the product. I have been online and see many, many complaints about the tactics of this company. I have also filed a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and a dispute with my credit card company. It is not enough just to make a chair that "looks like" the real thing...it must also be comfortable. and just for the record the cushioning on a genuine Eames chair does NOT break down after 1 year. I have several friends who have owned them for years and sit in them everyday the they look and sit the exact same as when new. I wish I had never bought from these guys...
