We apologize our polices on large checks ($250.00) and larger are not conducive with Ms***We spoke on the phone and I assured MS*** our Credit & Accounting Departments along with our Legal Counsel were made aware of this issue
It’s hard to list everything in the catalog and the web-sites on policies regarding checks for payment but it appears there is room for improvement
There was valid issue that MS*** stated noting if only she had been notified or made aware that her check was being held but never had that courtesy
I do see where a check was issued and cashed on June 10th in the amount of $
That said I was assured this matter would be looked into

There was no tax charged as the only states charged sales tax are Virginia and Wisconsin

it never shipped.The account shows still authorizing and no monies were ever paid to KJordan.MS *** should contact her bank to make sure this comes off her account.Those charges can take anywhere from a week to days depending on her bank to come off.That is something her bank will be able to explain to her.Again no monies were ever exchanged. I am aware of the balance and have every intention paying my bill. While I am repairing my home, K Jordan should be able to bring the account current and allow me to start the 95.13 min. due. If they cannot credit any late fees to ease the financial they could easily bring account current to get my account back in good standing

I have had some fairly traumatic things happen to me in the last several years (gave birth to a micro preemie with a congenital heart defect, spent every day in the NICU until her open-heart surgery, she had ten strokes during her surgery, etc. etc. etc.) and as a result, I have had 2 cars repossessed as I try to rebuild my life, take care of my children and do damage control to my credit report! K. Jordan was the only place that would give me credit with my credit score. As a result, I have been able to rebuild my wardrobe for my upcoming graduation from a Master’s program and will ready to go for interviews and subsequent jobs in my field (which requires more upscale dressing than the business casual clothing I had). And it may very well be that K. Jordan targets people in my credit range for whatever reason.

For the last year, I have bought something at least once a month (several somethings if I were being completely honest). Some items have been well worth the money spent. There were several formal dresses I bought for a cruise that I paid less than $30 for and they were amazing! Some items have been so overpriced that I had no choice but to return them. For instance, their tee shirts are completely sub-par quality. Worse than Hanes from Walmart! Like anything you buy online, until you get your hands on the item, you cannot be sure it is up to your particular standards (whatever those standards may be).

Sizes seem to be hit or miss but I have my own unique shape (I joke that shape is round - ha!). I have a very large chest and so it's hard for me to find things to fit when I have the luxury of trying them on. And as most of us will admit, we have some days where nothing looks good and we should just shop for shoes and jewelry!
The shipping fees are excessive. They do tend to overcharge for shipping. But I see it as, they gave me credit when no one else would, so it all comes out in the wash.
I have only been late on one payment. I will tell you that whoever it was that called me to gently remind me about the payment (which I had honestly completely forgotten about and actually had the money to pay it at the time) was horrible. This woman was completely snarky. At that moment, I understood the bad reviews. However, I refused to pay the amount, hung up, called back and explained what had just happened. I was so nicely transferred to a supervisor (with whom I happily made my payment that was a week late) and she bent over backwards apologizing for how that representative treated me. She seemed genuinely upset that someone working for the company treated a customer that way.

I have also had to return several items for different reasons (size, didn't look good on my figure, wasn't happy with the product, and so on) and you do get charged for return shipping if you use their label. A LOT of companies do this. Some don't. But it is up to the company. If you are able to get your item(s) returned for less than the $7.95 shipping charge, I encourage you to do so and not use their return shipping label.

I love K. Jordan. I appreciate that there is a buy now and pay later program. I love that because I have made timely payments, they are increasing my credit line. I love the clothes. Just purchased my first pair of shoes and have not received them yet, so I am unsure as to the quality of the shoes. Not loving the shipping fees! If they are able to charge only $7.95 to ship the clothing back, they should only be charging a flat rate to ship clothing to you. If they did that, K. Jordan would be practically perfect for me.

For those of you who have had bad experiences, I am so sincerely sorry. Been there and done that at other places and it is the worst feeling ever. I hope whatever issues you had have been or were resolved.

The complaint states having been charged a late fee.
Late fees are charged if there is a balance on the account and payment has not been received.
On the back of the half page just inside the front cover you will see a section marked PAYMENTS.
It can be found about half way down the left column.
I see a payment for $17.97 was received on 3-3-2015.
The late fee was charged because no payment was made in January or February.
Because all of our customers are important to us here at K.Jordan we will remove the $10.00 late fee along with the finance charges totaling $3.74.
The balance left will be $17.92.

I ordered a pair of winter white boots from K. Jordan. The boots were nice but were packed in a shoe box rather than a box made for boots. In order for the boots to fit into the shoe box, they had to be folded in half. Now the boots have a crease in them. it appears to me that the company tried to save money by purchasing boxes that are to small for the merchandise they are shipping. Boots should never be folded in Half!

The complaint states having ordered and returned items but are getting notices from collections.
Our records show the order was placed in October of 2013 but the items were not received here until June of this year. During that time no payments were made so late fees and finance charge accrued.
That said I will do a one-time courtesy and remove the charges and clear this account.
I will ask our credit dept. to notify collections to cease any further attempts in collecting on this account.
