I hired them to replace and existing driveway for expansion and extra parking This has been a miserable experience from the get go They make you pay in full to get on schedule, communication is awful The driveway they put in cracked along the edges almost immediately, they left me with a mud hole for weeks after they tore out existing driveway, their are puddles on the entire driveway, you can see where the cars drive, their are sink spots where cars are parked The driveway is bumpy to drive on and there are couple protruding humps that can't be explained They keep addressing the "cosmetic issues" but won't admit they are from the job being done poorly...They have yet to address all the puddles on the driveway After about months of being passed to several people in the organization and them come up with different excuses, they came back and blamed my use of the drivewayWhich is interesting because my old driveway didn't not have these issues The driveway needs to be re-done and they just want to keep putting band aids on it until they are out of their "Contract Warranty" period I have pictures and emails to document every statement in here Please read all reviews before using Kaplan Paving

Been using their sealing coating division for a few years, quality ranges greatly year to yearIn seal coated driveway but none of the "major cracks" were filledMy fault should have called them on that, but let it slideThis year called to inform them of unsatisfactory job done prior year and that I wanted someone out to verify actual cost to properly fill cracks
Received a call back sometime later and given the quote of $They scheduled work via an email dated in the evening before for the following dayOK could not be there but my wife would be homeCrew informs my wife when they arrive that more crack filler than usual will need to be utilized, knowing of my previous conversations with the company she approvesWhen I get home must say very good job of crack sealing and coatingGo online and submit payment for quote priceWeek later get a new invoice $a 103% increase in their quoteSent them an email requesting clarification of increase as more than twice their original quoteHave received no response back except a voice message regarding the overdue balance a a threat to turn us over to collection!

Great experience with Kaplan Paving replacing our driveway Worked with Lee, Annette, Brenda and Billy In addition to asphalt replacement of our driveway, we needed a small concrete job performed by another contractor That contractor was TERRIFIC and Kaplan helped to coordinate schedules We had a slight hiccup when the city inspected for final approval, but Kaplan was quick to rectify the situation and the final approval was issued (The city inspector was very accessible and helpful as well) Our property was left clean and orderly The final walk through with Billy is informative and an added bonus I signed up for the continuing program Coming from the construction world, I know there are always hiccup's It's how the contractor deals with those hiccup's and issues that separates the wheat from the chaff Kudos to KaplanMary *** from HP

Company came out and installed a new driveway at my place of residence Called to schedule a seal-coating service in the Fall of and charged me $ Continually rescheduled due to weather In Spring of 2018, I kept calling them, finally got a hold of someone and scheduled for the service The company never showed up to do the work I have called multiple times, emailed multiple times and the company refuses to call me back

We had our driveway done in Oct and our driveway is falling apart and looks like a gravel pit We've had small rocks lodged in our shoes unbeknownst to us...scratching our beautiful hardwood kitchen floors They came back out a few weeks later and confirmed the asphalt was not "HOT" enough and they would fix the problem in Spring of Still waiting for a scheduler to call after a promise from MrSiegel (April 2017) who said "Let's get the money rolling and we'll put you on the schedule" Now almost August and we are STILL waiting We've called several times only to hear the same responseAlso, Terrible Customer Service from MsSanchez...who is short and annoyed when you call...who screens MrSiegel's calls...Whom he calls his gatekeeper and laughed abt itGood luck getting through

I pre-paid Kaplan Paving LLC on 8/21/for $using my credit card to contract for residential driveway seal coating services Kaplan paving committed to performing these services on 9/6/2018, 9/7/2018, 9/12/2018, and 9/13/and as of 9/13/they have not provided the service at my address I have contacted Kaplan on 8/31/2018, 9/08/2018, 9/13/and I have requested a refund Effected on 9/13/at 5PM, Kaplan Paving has not provided any communication regarding scheduled services or refund
