Review: I used the Kappa website to renew a subscription to [redacted] magazine. The price listed was $29.90. I received an email stating that my credit card was charged $96.80! I immediately emailed back and said not to proceed. The service representative, Aileen W[redacted], said that the Canadian price was $48.40. In the next email the price changed to $94.50 for 20 issues. It was then changed to $96.80. I emailed that the price changes were fraudulent and I wanted to have a supervisor contact me.

I received my credit card statement today only to find out that I was charged $96.80 before the original email. Ms W[redacted] had not reversed any charges. Instead I was charged the highest amount possible.Desired Settlement: I want to find out why I was charged when I had stopped the transaction, and to find out why there was such a wide range of charges with no explanation given. A supervisor should have contacted me, but no one did. I am interested at getting the magazine but the experience has made me very suspicious about the integrity of the company.

I am rejecting this response because:

I authorized a charge of $29.90 to purchase a magazine subscription and was charged over $96 without any reason given. The charge was incorrectly issued and it took numerous emails to resolve the issue, none of which worked. During the course of the emails four different amounts were going to be charged to my credit card. Again, no reason was given for the bizarre and unauthorized rate change. This company committed fraud by overcharging my card and they seem to feel that reversing the charge is adequate. It isn't. They have no consistent rates or charges for their magazine subscriptions, and none of the responses I received ever addressed the issue. If I hadn't brought this matter to the Revdex.com's attention, Kappa publishing would still have overcharged me with no reason.

Review: I ordered a bundle of variety puzzle books about two months ago--July 2013. Cost was $20.00. They never sent the order. I tried contacting them through emails. They do not respond. I contacted the money order company and was informed that the money order has been cashed but they still haven't sent the order.Desired Settlement: Either deliver the order or return my money.
