Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted] Their statement is and distorted,yes I was quoted $at first but when they mentioned that the warranty would not be as great as if they rebuild it,so I said ok,also I was told that rebuilding will be less because they might not have to replace all the partsI was told that they couldn't remove all the bolts to rebuild it .When my oldest son call asking them why the cost went up ,their reason was they couldn't remove the bolts as wellIt doesn't take 9hrs to remove bolts.So what they did was over charge me for the laborThis business has a problem when their unfair business practices is questions they get very hostelTherefore its a fact I was over chargeI'm requesting a refund of 4hrs.I ask around to other garage and I was informed that it's only took 5hrs the most

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Their statement couldn't be any further from the truthSo if I may when I first came to BT,I informed that my vehicle was making noise from the frontI requested an estimate before starting the repairAfter a few days was informed that my differential was bad and they had to replace it I was quoted $,and three would be a service charge of $but it would be applied to the repairSo I didn't have any choice but let them do the work .Several days past and the work wasn't started .Finally they ask me to bring a deposit before the work began,I gave them $At this time I was told that a use part wouldn't have there guarantee ,because they didn't rebuild it,Therefore they would try to rebuild it and save me moneyThis was meet with a lot of stallingSo the bottom line they charge me $,I had my son to drive the vehicle before I paid BT My son questions the noise that is when they got an attitude, When my daughter came to pay with my [redacted] account BT wanted to over charge us once again a attitudeOnce I pick up my vehicle BT said that my Transmission was bad.That was lieThe noise was still there from the first visited ,it was the transfer case that another mechanic mechanic fix.So you see BT has a reputation ripping of the public Sincerely, [redacted] **

We are very sorry that our good customer [redacted] had to go through this againI did give customer money for car rentalWe realized that there was something wrong with her transmission that seemed not to be repairable after we tried several times- so to not only expedite the repair but to make customer happy we replaced the entire transmission at no chargeSometimes transmissions cannot be repaired and unfortunately no one can always tell if that's the case before hand or the initial bill would have been a lot higher This is major work, major surgery for a vehicle and at times thing do happenWe don't want to have an upset customer but I do realize that no matter how you explain it some people just don't want to hear itI hope the best for this and every customer and hope that with a replacement transmission it works out for the best

We repaired this vehicle sometime last year and customer stated that he noticed a scratch on the side of his dump truck bodyWe could not tell when it happened nor could the customerAs a courtesy and the fact that this is a good customer as all of ours are- I told the customer to drop it off and I would have my paint shop look at itThis was last year and customer never dropped it offCustomer called me about a month ago and said he would drop it off but never didCustomer called again and stated he didn't want to wait days for the vehicle to sit around while it was either fixed or awaiting repairSo I told him that no matter where the vehicle went there was a wait timeHe didn't wanna here it so I took away my courtesy check out away and told customer I was not interested in dealing with this issueAs it is no one knows how it happened we only took customers word but our parking lot has many trucks tow trucks and hundreds of vehicles entering and exiting as it is a public entranceAgain no way of knowingCustomer has had almost a year to bring the vehicle and didn'tHow long is long enough

This Vehicle left here working fine it had a weak battery and it was recommended to replace but customer stated she had no more money so we charged up the battery and off she wentCome to find out the alternator was not charging the battery well enough to keep a chargeCUSTOMER HAD SOME ONE GIVE THE CAR A JUMP AND THEY CROSSED THE WIRES! Not our fault not her fault just a mistake that someone made BUT that doesn't mean that our work is no good, we did our job very wellThat vehicle along with many others need proper current and good battery power for the sensors all over the car to work efficientlyI understand the customers frustration but we were not the ones who cris crossed the battery cables causing massive electrical failure, we checked the vehicle once it came back thinking it was something we did which it WAS NOT Customer failed to tell us what happened when someone cris crossed the wired and maybe she didn't even know it had happened but we checked the car out for almost two days and saw blown/broken fuses all over the floor and a new main vehicle fuse had been replaced along with a new alternator and batteryWe came up with the conclusion that it indeed vehicle needed a computer because it had been shorted out as wellWe called the customer with our findings and explained that we had nothing to do with the shorting out of the computer and that an electrical specialist would have to look into it furtherAt no time have we ever said we would not take care of any transmission warranty work BUT the issues are electrical with the vehicle caused by someone else's incompetence not ours we know red from black and know right from wrongWe take pride in out transmission work and if there is something wrong with the transmission we have no problem taking care of itBut this vehicle needs a vehicle computer which controls the whole car

I am rejecting this response because:I had to wait over two months before my truck was finishedThey had my truck since November 5, I would check on them daily to see the progress and there was zero urgency to get my truck back in a timely mannerThis made me extremely fustrated since I paid over $when I had the same job done which is a rebuilt transmission job a year prior I feel that if the job was done correctly I would never be in this situation They gave a year Warentee on the job and like clock work months later the transmission fails again The claim that Budget is making that they have been contacting me and I was giving them excuses is completely false I received my 1st call that the truck was finished in JanuaryAnd by that time I no longer had all the money to get my truck out They kept my truck far too long before they fixed the issue and now that its done they want to jack the price up againThe price I was told was $and that is the only reason I went back to them because I was promised to pay half of what I paid the 1st time Now they're asking for $In which I already paid $with intentions of paying the rest this week To avoid any additional charges And yes I am aware that additional work was done, but I was still told a price after that Due to the initial waiting period and the inconsistencies in pricing this has been one horrible experience

We gave customer optionsA used front differential with 97,miles for around $Option was a used differential with only 39,miles was naturally more $ because it was a lot lets miles or option A rebuilt one from the dealer which was close to $Customer picked option because
of the lower milesCustomers son called and stated he could get the part cheaper but was talking about the one with many more miles which we offered but that option was declined by *** *** When we called to let customer know vehicle was ready his son came in with a major attitude and again stated it was too much money and I again reminded him that his father elected the better lower mileage part which we agreed on prior to doing any work and infact *** *** came in again the next day to leave a deposit to start work and we had no issues yet his son wanted to argue and I took the vehicle parked it and walked away since the agreement was between the father and BudgetLater that day *** came in with his daughter and started with wanting to pay with ***l which we don't take then she started calling me ignorant and and other negative words because I wouldn't take her payment through the computer online transferIt got so condescending that I then refused to take her payment and asked *** *** to bring in a bank check or cashThe point to all this is attitude from all the other people who wanted to be in the business but had no idea what the agreement was between me and *** *** so they made things worst not knowing that the part was almost a new part and that's why it was so much more money BUT that was an agreement made and explained on what the cost difference was and why it was better--- if no options were given and we just changed the price out of the blue then yes they would have a case to be upset but we gave options and option was electedThank you.

We are sorry that you feel that way we did everything to give you as many options as possible, the vehicle came in and it did not move the front differential was destroyed and in many pieces which made it a lot harder to take out than a one that's not blown up in pieces, we had to heat up many bolts they were stuck and it was not just under circumstances yes it would've been less labor in the case that we had in front of us with your vehicle it took a lot longer than anyone wanted but I explain to you in detail all of your options in front of you and you pick the option that was more cost-effective for you a brand-new one from the dealer would've been way too much in a rebuilt one was also too much so we went with the one that fit your budget based on the many conversations we had prior to doing any work thank you have a good day

I would like to be able to reply to thisThis customers car was a rusted old *** *** falling apart rust everywhereCustomer tried to put cheap primer that didn't stickHe wanted us to keep it inside the shop for the duration of the repairs and we could not do that since we have other cars
to work onHe brought over a tarp to cover the carTo top it off the transmission case was broken and someone else tried to silicon the aluminum case we advised customer he needed a new case (outside shell of transmission) but he said he didn't have the moneyI discounted the bill to accommodate his BUDGET and so he can buy better primer and yet we are looked at as badWe bent over backwards to work on this car that is far from a classic

This customer came from another garage (shop) the other garage did not communicate with him we are not in any way shape or form aloud or obligated to communicate with there customer because he is not our customer a the other shop/ garage sent them here which was a wholesaler we are sorry that
it took this long the car needed additional parts that we did not charge this customer for at all, it did take longer than expected to complete his car which was not expected we would like to complete all cars within the week time but unfortunately this vehicle needed additional parts beyond our control we did not charge the customer for these additional parts that were over $200- on behalf of the other garage and ours we do apologize for this customers inconvenience and lack of communication and time it took to completeWe did not want to give the customer back the car if it was not 100% fixed and now it is thank you very much for your time

We have worked any misunderstanding and have resolved all issuesCustomer states he is happy and will be withdrawing this complaint in fullWe have also waived storage charges and explained in detail what the additional parts were that are not inside of the transmission and after speaking with *** we all are in a agreement to withdraw this matterThank you and thank you to our wonderful repeat customer we do value all of our customers and we are very happy when there is a positive resolution.
