We repaired this vehicle sometime last year and customer stated that he noticed a scratch on the side of his dump truck bodyWe could not tell when it happened nor could the customerAs a courtesy and the fact that this is a good customer as all of ours are- I told the customer to drop it off and
I would have my paint shop look at itThis was last year and customer never dropped it offCustomer called me about a month ago and said he would drop it off but never didCustomer called again and stated he didn't want to wait days for the vehicle to sit around while it was either fixed or awaiting repairSo I told him that no matter where the vehicle went there was a wait timeHe didn't wanna here it so I took away my courtesy check out away and told customer I was not interested in dealing with this issueAs it is no one knows how it happened we only took customers word but our parking lot has many trucks tow trucks and hundreds of vehicles entering and exiting as it is a public entranceAgain no way of knowingCustomer has had almost a year to bring the vehicle and didn'tHow long is long enough.

I am rejecting this response because: Their statement couldn't be any further from the truthSo if I may when I first came to BT,I informed that my vehicle was making noise from the frontI requested an estimate before starting the repairAfter a few days was informed that my differential was bad and they had to replace it I was quoted $,and three would be a service charge of $but it would be applied to the repairSo I didn't have any choice but let them do the work .Several days past and the work wasn't started .Finally they ask me to bring a deposit before the work began,I gave them $At this time I was told that a use part wouldn't have there guarantee ,because they didn't rebuild it,Therefore they would try to rebuild it and save me moneyThis was meet with a lot of stallingSo the bottom line they charge me $,I had my son to drive the vehicle before I paid BT My son questions the noise that is when they got an attitude, When my daughter came to pay with my *** account BT wanted to over charge us once again a attitudeOnce I pick up my vehicle BT said that my Transmission was bad.That was lieThe noise was still there from the first visited ,it was the transfer case that another mechanic mechanic fix.So you see BT has a reputation ripping of the public.

? Some people cannot be pleased no matter what you do for them? We gave *** a 50% discount on his transmission since we did work on it before -- even know he was way off warranty by miles and time--- BUT we didn't just do the transmission this time around we also installed a
transfer case at no charge we install the transfer case motor at no charge and we installed a battery at no charge but now the nerve of us charging tax was/is an issue too wow? We also said if he picked up the car in a timely manner after vehicle being done we will not charge him storage - he came in the other day upset that we had sent them a letter stating that there will be storage because he took him two months to get the car picked up- that is not unreasonableWe have almost cars here we work on -- them we let the customers know what's wrong with them and if it takes is a little bit extra time to ? get it right we make sure before we give the car back that the car is right but this customer completely blatantly disappeared for two months promising he was going to come in at least to give a deposit and never did because he was my neighbor I let it go trusting that one day he will show up but excuse after excuse excuse after excuse he never did - finally my manager threaten him with more storage and that's when he came in? At this ? point until this complaint is removed 100% of the storage do will have to be paid with no additional discounts based on this ridiculous complaint that the customer knows it's not just our fault for having the car here this long it's also him for leaving it here this long? There should be a place just like there is a place for businesses there should be a place you can post for deadbeat customers so great business like mine can be aware to stay away from themMaybe I will look into it.?

I would like to be able to reply to this. This customers car was a rusted old [redacted] falling apart rust everywhere. Customer tried to put cheap primer that didn't stick. He wanted us to keep it inside the shop for the duration of the repairs and we could not do that since we have 87 other cars...

to work on. He brought over a tarp to cover the car. To top it off the transmission case was broken and someone else tried to silicon the aluminum case we advised customer he needed a new case (outside shell of transmission) but he said he didn't have the money. I discounted the bill to accommodate his BUDGET and so he can buy better primer and yet we are looked at as bad. We bent over backwards to work on this car that is far from a classic.

This Vehicle left here working fine it had a weak battery and it was recommended to replace but customer stated she had no more money so we charged up the battery and off she went. Come to find out the alternator was not charging the battery well enough to keep a charge. CUSTOMER HAD SOME ONE GIVE...

THE CAR A JUMP AND THEY CROSSED THE WIRES! Not our fault not her fault just a mistake that someone made BUT that doesn't mean that our work is no good, we did our job very well. That vehicle along with many others need proper current and good battery power for the sensors all over the car to work efficiently. I understand the customers frustration but we were not the ones who cris crossed the battery cables causing massive electrical failure, we checked the vehicle once it came back thinking it was something we did which it WAS NOT.  Customer failed to tell us what happened when someone cris crossed the wired and maybe she didn't even know it had happened but we checked the car out for almost two days and saw 7 blown/broken fuses all over the floor and a new main vehicle fuse had been replaced along with a new alternator and battery. We came up with the conclusion that it indeed vehicle needed a computer because it had been shorted out as well.... We called the customer with our findings and explained that we had nothing to do with the shorting out of the computer and that an electrical specialist would have to look into it further. At no time have we ever said we would not take care of any transmission warranty work BUT the issues are electrical with the vehicle caused by someone else's incompetence not ours we know red from black and know right from wrong. We take pride in out transmission work and if there is something wrong with the transmission we have no problem taking care of it. But this vehicle needs a vehicle computer which controls the whole car.

The person that came in was not the owner of vehicle and she came in asking condescending questions from the minute she walked in the door since she say an office full of people. We take great pride in the work we did and explained that the issue with the vehicle HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH US. The [redacted]...

transfer case was having issues and we took care of it as a courtesy. If the vehicle has any other issues that are transmission related we will take care of it 100% at no charge. We value each and every customer and I don't ever want one to be unhappy. So please bring the vehicle in.

We realized that there was something wrong with her transmission that seemed not to be repairable after we tried several times- so to not only expedite the repair but to make...

customer happy we replaced the entire transmission at no charge. Sometimes transmissions cannot be repaired and unfortunately no one can always tell if that's the case before hand or the initial bill would have been a lot higher.  This is major work, major surgery for a vehicle and at times thing do happen. We don't want to have an upset customer but I do realize that no matter how you explain it some people just don't want to hear it. I hope the best for this and every customer and hope that with a replacement transmission it works out for the best.

[redacted] Their statement  is  false and  distorted,yes I was quoted  $950.00 at first but when they mentioned that the warranty  would not  be as great as if they rebuild it,so I said ok,also I was told that rebuilding will be less because  they might not  have to replace  all the parts. I was told that they couldn't remove all the bolts to rebuild  it .When  my oldest  son call asking  them why the cost went up ,their reason was they couldn't  remove the bolts as well.. It doesn't  take 9hrs to remove  4 bolts.So what they did was over charge me for the labor. This business has a  problem  when their unfair  business practices is questions they get very  hostel. Therefore its  a fact  I was over charge. I'm  requesting  a refund  of 4hrs.I ask around to other garage and I was informed that it's only  took  5hrs the  most.

This customer came from another garage (shop) the other garage did not communicate with him we are not in any way shape or form aloud or obligated to communicate with there customer because he is not our customer a the other shop/ garage sent them here which was a wholesaler we are sorry that...

it took this long the car needed additional parts that we did not charge this customer for at all, it did take longer than expected to complete his car which was not expected we would like to complete all cars within the week time but unfortunately this vehicle needed additional parts beyond our control we did not charge the customer for these additional parts that were over $200-  on behalf of the other garage and ours we do apologize for this customers inconvenience and lack of communication and time it took to complete. We did  not want to give the customer back the car if it was not 100% fixed and now it is thank you very much for your time

We have worked any misunderstanding and have resolved all issues. Customer states he is happy and will be withdrawing this complaint in full. We have also waived storage charges and explained in detail what the additional parts were that are not inside of the transmission and after speaking with [redacted] we all are in a agreement to withdraw this matter. Thank you and thank you to our wonderful repeat customer we do value all of our customers and we are very happy when there is a positive resolution.

So  I didn't have any choice  but  let them  do the work .Several  days  past  and the work  wasn't  started .Finally  they  ask me to bring a deposit  before  the work  began,I gave them $500.00. At this time  I was told that a use part  wouldn't have  there guarantee ,because  they  didn't  rebuild  it,Therefore  they would try to  rebuild  it and save me money. So the bottom line  they charge  me $2000.00 ,I had  my son  to drive  the  vehicle  before  I paid  BT My son questions the noise  that is  when they got  an attitude, When  my daughter came to pay with my [redacted]  account  BT wanted  to over charge  us once again  a attitude.
