This is disappointing.   I have continued calling and finally spoke with [redacted] who assured me that my transaction is being processed and that she will get back with me to confirm that everything is done and we’re just waiting for confirmation paperwork.I had to call about 6 times, leaving...

voicemails, until she finally called me back. I will let you know if anything more is accomplished.  I have to hope that the transaction will complete since we invested a lot of money. [redacted]

10/17/2017  mediator called consumer, but, phone rang and rang and was unable to leave a VM, so sent an email.10/20/2017  no reply from consumer yet. Mediator called again and phone once again rang and rang without a voice mail kicking in. Emailed consumer and gave deadline of 10-25-2017 at noon to reply, else close.10/25/2017 @ 12:05 p.m.  No reply from consumer. Per above, closing mediation.

About 2 weeks after filing my complaint, Escape Resolutions made contact with me and state they are finalizing my contract with them. I had also contacted the state's attorney offices in Missouri and Illinois. Hopefully this will all be completed in the next two weeks.

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2016/05/26) */
To Whom It May Concern:
At this time I would like to withdraw my complaint against Escape Resolutions. Since filing my complaint they have contacted me and resolved the issues. Thank You.

See attached clarification.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 22, 2016/04/21) */
Again, the client has not responded to our attempt to communicate with him. We have tried reaching out to this customer to assist him with the misunderstanding he has of our procedures. In his complaint, he is describing a process that is not...

accurate of our operations and misrepresents the process. We have tried contacting this client several times but he does not return our calls.
Escape Resolutions has helped thousands of very satisfied customers get out of their timeshares, legally once and for all. The above customer needs to communicate with us for us to be able help him. We have procedures in place for clients who change their mind after engaging us to help them get out of their timeshare.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 24, 2016/04/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
As stated in our complaint, we called the salesman on February 11, 2016 and did not receive a call back until April 15, 2016. It was left on our phone recorder that Escape Resolutions wanted to make sure that we received our money back. They apologized for the problem. [redacted] removed the charge from our account. Escape Resolutions also expressed regret for using [redacted] endorsement in there promotion. We are satisfied with Revdex.com and the outcome. Thank you.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2016/08/29) */
Mr. [redacted] has been refunded in full. However, Mr. [redacted] filed a chargeback with his credit card company against Escape Resolutions. This chargeback was reversed in favor of Escape Resolutions because it was not a valid chargeback. Due to his...

credit card dispute the refund process is now tied up and we have turned Mr. [redacted]'s file over to our law firm.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 16, 2016/08/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We have NOT been refunded by Escape Resolutions or any of its affiliated entities. No checks, wire transfers, money orders, credit card refunds or any other form of compensation were ever received from Escape Resolutions. We suggest Escape Resolutions provide proof of the alleged refund be provided - a cancelled check, confirmation of credit card refund, etc. to substantiate its assertion.

The "chargeback," to which Mr. [redacted] -- owner of Escape Resolutions -- refers, has NOT been reversed in favor of Escape Resolutions as he has alleged. We applied to our credit card company for relief. There was an initial finding that we had not provided enough documentation to substantiate our claim, and we were given leave to appeal/supply further details. We did just that. Subsequently, on July 28th our credit card company debited Escape Resolutions and issued an interim credit. That credit is pending while Escape Resolutions has two billing cycles to respond.
Escape Resolutions failed to respond to our requests for a refund. They did not even acknowledge the requests. Only after numerous attempts did we resort to contacting our credit card carrier. On the occasion when our credit card company contacted and subsequently connected me with Mr. [redacted]/Escape Resolutions, he had the opportunity to state that a refund had been issued. He did not. Rather, he was emphatic in his opposition and he resorted to threats. Had Mr. [redacted] agreed to refund us at that time, our credit card company would not have pursued the matter as it has and this complaint would not have been registered.

Escape Resolutions asserts they have issued a refund, but it's easy to allege when one does not offer proof. A call to our credit card company today confirms that Escape Resolutions did NOT issue a refund through them. Again, we have received no other conveyances of a refund. It's not a complicated matter. Even at this juncture, if Escape Resolutions is truly inclined to provide the requested refund, they need merely provide approval to our credit card company to finalize the pending refund. The matter would be settled.

Escape Resolutions has made two (2) false statements in its brief response here. Escape Resolutions insults us and infers that we are so dishonest as to pursue a double-refund. Escape Resolutions continues to invoke the threat of legal involvement (one does not turn a refund issue over to a law firm otherwise). Given these facts, we find their response is not acceptable. We are not averse to reconsidering this opinion once the credit on our card becomes permanent and Escape Resolutions makes clear that any threat of legal proceedings is disingenuous.

[redacted],
The above complaint, [redacted] Complaint#[redacted], has been submitted to our attorney.
Thanks,
[redacted]

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We we have received paperwork from the timeshare company, not from...

Escape Resolutions. The timeshare company sent this paperwork as a result of me asking the timeshare to help me exit because Escape Resolutions was not getting completion and it had been over a year since original contract date. The timeshare has implemented this service for owners that have specific timeshare attendance problems. We only learned about this service in the last month and we applied for it from the timeshare. That is why we received the paperwork which is by no means final documentation. This package of document ion still needs to be approved by the timeshare and after such approval, may release us from all responsibility and ownership of our timeshare. We must wait for this release before we can satisfactorily close out this complaint.

The response from Escape Resolutions is not acceptable, nor true. They state that I have not paid my time share fees, yet these were all paid on time and are not due again until 2018. In fact, when we met with Escape Resolutions, they said I had to pay my fees while they worked on this, so I made sure to do so.
This company continues to be extremely dishonest and drag this out and not try and do the right thing. They have still done nothing to resolve this or provide the service they said they would. One year, although in their contract, is too long to expect to have to wait to complete this transaction. It is now mid-July and they are only three months from a complete year. It is
unbelievable that they claim to be working on this at all. I have seen no proof of this and want a full refund and this case should not be closed until some resolution is achieved.
Thank you,
[redacted]

To Whom it may concern:
When I originally submitted this complaint Escape Resolutions had until June 26, 2017 to reply. Why has this date changed?
Please call me or email me so that I know why.
Thank you,
[redacted]@yahoo.com
[redacted]

The client contracted with Escape Resolutions the end of 2016. The contract they signed allows one year for completion. We are still well within the timeframe. Also, note per the attached contract all fees must remain current at all times and the client is in arrears. We ask this complaint be void for these reasons. Please see attached contract and proof of terms.

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 5, 2016/05/23) */
I AM WITHDRAWING MY NEGATIVE COMMENT AND GOING WITH A POSITIVE REVIEW SINCE I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ESCAPE RESOLUTIONS STATING THAT THE TRANSFER WILL BE DONE IN 45 DAYS FROM THE DAY THEY RECEIVE A SIGN FORM FROM ME. THANK YOU Revdex.com FOR YOUR HELD IN...

GETTING ACTION.

[redacted]Document Attached[redacted]
As requested by [redacted], I am uploading the two documents we signed the day we gave them the checks for $3000 each.
Thank you,

Escape Resolutions has worked with this client for their special circumstance. Escape Resolutions respects the privacy of our clients. Therefore, we will not discuss the details any further on the file.     Thank you,   Escape Resolutions

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2016/06/16) */
The individual, Mr. [redacted], signed a cancellation service agreement with Escape Resolutions on April 2nd, 2016. The notes in his file stated his partner and co-owner, [redacted] Clay, would sign anything needed to cooperate with getting out of...

the timeshare. On April 6th, 2016 we received an email from Mr. [redacted] stating he was exercising his right of rescission.
Escape Resolutions then acknowledged and communicated with Mr. [redacted] regarding his rescission. Through this communication Mr. [redacted] requested additional paperwork. Escape Resolutions sent the additional paperwork to Mr. [redacted]'s attention to be reviewed by both Mr. [redacted] and his partner, [redacted] Clay, and then be able to move forward with the file; a file that would be handled by a law firm. Escape Resolutions was under the impression from Mr. [redacted] that everything was good.
Please note, all phone calls for Escape Resolutions are on a recorded line. Therefore, all phone conversations between Mr. [redacted] and Escape Resolutions are recorded. As previously stated Escape Resolutions did not know of Mr. [redacted]'s dissatisfaction. Escape Resolutions did just what the client asked us to do; send additional paperwork to him to go over with his partner. Escape Resolutions did not receive any information that Mr. [redacted] did not want to move forward. Escape Resolutions is unsure whether the email(s) are actually from the client or the partner, [redacted] Clay, who initially was not willing to move forward with our service. After the additional information was sent, Mr. [redacted] never communicated to us his intentions with Escape Resolutions, instead Mr. [redacted] has filed a complaint.
The last attempt to speak with Mr. [redacted] was via a phone call made to Mr. [redacted] by an Escape Resolutions representative on June 14th, 2016 which Mr. [redacted] was unwilling to communicate with our Escape Resolutions representative. This makes it very difficult to resolve the situation when the client will not communicate with Escape Resolutions. Escape Resolutions takes pride and care in alleviating the customer(s) from their timeshare obligations and ensures the client is kept informed and updated through the entire process.
A refund could not be issued to the client because the client placed a chargeback on our account without any notification to Escape Resolutions. In order to remain compliant with the card service regulations Escape Resolutions could not issue a refund to the client until after the chargeback dispute had been settled.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/01/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
They sent me back my money on the 4th of January.

Attached is the requested copy of the contract with Escape Resolutions. It was attached to the original complaint also.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2017/05/02) */
The client is referring to another company; we have reached out to that company and as far as we know that company has handled her concern.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2017/05/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept...

the response from the business.)
The company response makes no sense. Our complaint is against Escape Resolutions - not another company.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 21, 2017/07/10) */
Our original response stands.

Dispute Resolution Dept:As requested, I am submitting supporting documentation for Complaint ID #[redacted].One document is the Escape Resolution (ER) Transfer Service Agreement (contract). The other document is a phone log for all calls made to ER, going back to when the contract was initiated. ...

I have numerous other documents: e-mails, correspondence, assundry supporting paperwork.  But figured that the 9 page phone log would be sufficient to illustrate my ever increasing frustration. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me.  Thanx in advance for all of your efforts in helping to resolve this complaint.[redacted] & [redacted]

Final documentation has already been sent to the client for signatures and notarization. Once the client returns the paperwork, it will be completed.
