Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint When you spend $you expect to take delivery of new furniture and not damaged goods When they came out for the sofa they found that they had knocked off the spring when they delivered it Both the dining room table (had a cut on top from when they opened the box) and a leg on the kitchen table was not finished properly and we asked that it be replaced Considering that we bought a kitchen table and four chairs, dining room table with six chairs, kingsize bed, bedroom set( under bed drawers, headboard and footboard) with two night stands, media center, tall dresser, leather couch, leather loveseat and a leather rocker recliner from what we thought was a reputable company and a reputable manufacturer We were assured by [redacted] that if we had any problems that they would take care of it We feel that they are brushing us off [redacted] on Monday told us that you can get it fixed when you get to [redacted] The service technician sat in the rocker and hit the [redacted] ***, not a lit candle, and spilled the wax on the couch, recliner, table and carpet Then said my wife did it I want the chair replaced as it is not usable They were supposed to have someone out today and they never showed I have no respect for people who don't return phone calls, ignore the issues and take your money and run.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards,

Dear RevDex.com, Tried contacting customer again, after talking to her the first time she told me that nothing was wrong with the sectional frame that her seat cushions were just sinking. I went ahead and told her that it was fine that replacement seat cushion are on order for her, and as soon as we receive them we will be giving her a call. Thank You Katy Furniture

Bought my living room set and a dining set for cash on 10/9/invoice # [redacted] We have spoken to Marie and BrittanyThe love seat has recliners, one of the recliners mechanics has completely fallen apart and the cushion on the arm has has sunk inWe have contacted them for monthsAll we get is the run aroundThey keep telling my husband to call [redacted] He calls [redacted] keeps telling him to send in the claim for the repair He has sent in three times nowNo repairWe keep getting told they didn't get the formI am also livid that their salesman Ken lied when we asked is the mechanics and the cushions fully covered? I mean is this a scam buisness or what ? We truly apologize if customer miss interpret the wording on the website It never stated online that wine rack was included with the dining table set with chairsNo customer has ever had an issue with this table set in particular and not knowing what in exact is included within

store
They are giving you bad
information, and if you were to look at their servers you would see that this
page was change to what it now states
The part about the bench
not being included was there but they added that last part about the wine rack
after I should it to the store manager
So this is not done
I with you to also know,
that now I will be contacting the state of Texas attorney general’s officeIt
is one thing to not be a honorable company it is a different stories when they
lie out right

The customer was quoted 4-weeks wait time, for us to receive her coffee table Unfortunately, during this period there was the strike at the port which led to the congestion, which delayed many orders including ***Everything
was ready and on time just no released from the port There were many calls made to the port trying to get an eta of when we should be getting our orders, but we never got a clear answer*** *** called April 8,wanting to know when we should be getting her table , I was honest and told her I did not know, and that I would check and give her a call backWhen I got off the phone with her I called the port again and the lady did not know, she said she would be calling me back. Later that afternoon we received the coffee table. I immediately called *** *** and told her coffee table was in and ready for pick upAt this point she stated that she wants to cancel her order. We are truly sorry for the delay in shipment, however on the original invoice for *** *** it states" Seller shall not be responsible for delays in delivery of merchandise occasioned by manufacturer's scheduling, stock on hand, availability of materials, transportation difficulty or any other causes beyond the control of the seller." which was signed by *** ***. Coffee Table is here and ready for customer to pick up or if she still does not want the coffee table we can refund the her minus the restocking fee

I tried to purchase a server cabinet and was told the one on the floor was perfectI drove from Pasadena to Katy during 5pm traffic and was told,"You better check traffic because we close at SHARP!" I got there at 6:50, the cabinet was damaged and had a warped doorThey told me they could order one and I could come back in weeksThey would not even consider reducing the price for a damaged productThey initially told me the price was $higher than advertised on their own websiteAfter some argument, they said okay we'll match that priceThen they told me, " It's $but if you charge it it's $My understanding is that you can offer a discount for cash but not raise the advertised price for creditThey made no apologies for the damaged product resulting in my hours of wasted timeUnbelievably bad customer serviceRude, Rude staffObviously NOT an owner operated company

We have some history with this particular customer. Part of the furniture was delivered 10/10/13, customer called  week and half later stating that there was a 14 inch scratch  on the table when it was delivered and set up on 10/10/13. We...

said no problem no questions asked we will replace it . As well they talked about a leg for another table purchased and same solution we replace it. Our delivery guys were sent out back to their house to change out parts. Then the call us and told us that they were having trouble with the frame of their sofa , that was fixed by technician. Then a couple of weeks ago customer called and stated that the recliner was not reclining properly and that his mattress was developing memory. For the mattress manufacturer does not cover transportation so for any issue customer would have to take mattress to them for solution which is done and resolved same day. For the recliner there was a work order created for technician go out there and fix. At appointment date a report was submitted from the technician stating that when he  arrive customers wife was going to show him what she thought was wrong with the recliner and accidently bump into a end table and since there was a lit candle it spilled wax on the recliners arm and side and some fell on the carpet. Technician told customer that she could try cleaning but that if she wanted fix it would not be covered by manufacturer. Manufacturer only covers mechanism issues frame or seam failure for a year not spills stain or anything like that. Know customer did purchase a protection plan warranty that would cover accidental damages which they can easily call and have someone from guardsman  go out to their home and clean wax from recliner.

No where did I purchase a 5 year warranty with a company called the [redacted]. Nor did I sign a paper saying the warranty was with a 3rd party. I have a receipt with no mention of a 3rd party on the warranty! DONT YOU THINK IT WOULD SAY [redacted] 5 year EXTENDED WARRANTY. It doesn't. Katy furniture took that $$. I tried to send pictures to a number they gave me ([redacted]) and they wouldn't even look at photos. So how would they know it was abuse if you never saw the photos. ALSO, she doesn't even list the correct couches as shown on my receipt in hand. . Got the same uneducated customer service rep on the reply. With a horrible attitude. She works in customer service, but doesn't know the definition of her position. An attorney is already assisting now. I'm being advised I need proof of contacts made in regards to having the couches warranty honored. I'm being hair anted someone is responsible for the couches. We can let a judge make this decision. What better way than in writing. Katy furniture gets away with this a lot, but it won't be this time. Been the worst shopping experience of my life HANDS DOWN!!!!!!

They are less pricier then other places but take no ownership over thier vendors. I paid $200 for a guardaman protection program that is basically useless. They do not process your requests then deny it because they then say it pasted the deadline for a claim. Useless!!! The furniture is very bad quality. I bought a diming table for over 1500.00 and it is very bad. The screws get loose all the time. I was told that the protection will cover even scratches, not told that in order to du5bmit a claim it will take snailmail and poor service to get it accomplished.
I attempted to return them, I understand all sells are final but I got a lease with simple finance. I called simple and directed to contact katy furniture, katy furniture tells me I have to call simple fianance. Nonownership when I told them that I was being told to go back and fourth. They said, we cant do anything for you good buy.
I do not recommend this place anymore. Bad product, bad "I dont care" customer service.

up, our guys in the warehouse told him that it was not safe to take everything at the same time, because he was jamming everything into a Van. He said that he was not going to make a second trip that he would be taking everything at once. [redacted] contacted us on that Monday stating that there were damage on ALL the pieces that he  had picked up . What we offered to the customer was to return the merchandise back to manufacture to be repaired or replaced, that's upon manufacturer approval. He said no he wanted to change to a different color. Unfortunately that is all that can be done for the customer, as stated on the bottom of the invoice which the customer read and signed at the time of purchase.
