Kayak Pools Midwest

We have had our Kayak pool for two swimming seasons. It is the best above ground pool that I have ever experienced and I have over 20 years of experience with multiple manufacturers of above ground pools. We vacuumed our pool 2 times last year and it was crystal clear every day. It is by far the most maintenance free pool I have ever seen. My family and I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Kayak Pools has excellent customer service and was very helpful in assisting me through an unexpected life event. They went above and beyond what many companies would have done. They worked with me to find a solution that benefited everyone involved. I am very appreciative of their service and would highly recommend them. In particular, Chelsea (Quality Control Manager) was so efficient and responded to my communications quickly. She was a pleasure to deal with and is an asset to the company. Kudos to Kayak!!

Kayak pools did a wonderful job installing our new pool. It was up and installed so quickly! All the workers were amazing, working quickly but efficiently and within a few hours our pool was installed and ready for use. I am very satisfied with our pool and side deck that we had installed. Our kids love the size of the pool and I love the size of the deck for lounging, entertaining and hanging out by the pool making memories. We are so thrilled with our new kayak pool- I’m certain we will have years and years of relaxing and family fun in it.

Your installers were very hard workers and very professional. I was kept informed on delivery install. The only thing I can say is it is very hard to get a hold of your accounting dept.

Pool has not been installed yet, we are waiting until spring of 2020. I recommend getting your permit approved, before financing is complete. Our permit was denied for our first choice location, I called Kayak to let them know, and 3 days later they proceeded with the purchase of our pool. Like other reviews, once there was a problem no one really seemed to care. finally after 6 weeks of phone calls and emails, we finally got an installer out to our house to help us find another location for the pool. As of 11/2019, we have our permit and hoping the rest of this process moves along smoother.

We just had our pool installed this year. From start to finish the process was handled very well. To watch a pool go up in 6hrs was just amazing. I highly recommend a Kayak Pool to anyone even remotely thinking about it. I'm sad that we waited so long for ours.

pool seems nice. It didn’t get installed until it was time to close up. I can’t leave a better review because of that. I would suggest ordering your pool before December if you want it installed by summer. All other experiences with kayak seemed fine.

My Kayak Pool experience was great. I picked out the pool we wanted and within weeks we were swimming in our brand-new Kayak pool. It was amazing how fast the install guys put it up. They came out and in one day it was installed and filling with water. I am so glad we got a Kayak pool. The grand-kids love it. They all jump in and we never have to worry because our Kayak pool is very sturdy and built to last. We plan on having many years of great times and memories in this pool

Bought my 16x24 pool at end of this season. Delivery was just as they said. Installers came quickly and even though the weather was very uncooperative they finished in just a day! Pool filled nicely and covered just in time. I can’t thank Lloyd and his crew enough for braving the elements and finishing so quickly! We are gonna LOVE our pool next summer ???? come on summertime!!!

Purchased out Kayak Pool over 2 years ago...still looks and runs brand new!

New Kayak pool last spring. Very professional sales call, answered all questions and provided plan. Installation went smoothly. Materials are top flight and construction was perfect. Explanation of pool maintenance was clear and Kayak materials are easy to follow. Ongoing care as promised is easy.

My family purchased a Kayak pool in September of 2018. It was a fabulous purchase!!! We love it! Our friends love it! Our family loves it! The installers actually worked one man short because someone out of town could not make it in to work. And they still managed just fine. Oh, and they installed our pool heater also - which we purchased from another company. No questions asked. Everything was explained in great detail regarding maintenance, chemicals, etc. For those of you who have HOAs or are upset about the “clean-up” to follow, that’s on you. It is your responsibility to find out what your restrictions or requirements are when installing anything where a government, so to speak, decides what you can and cannot do with your property. And, it is your responsibility to find out what your city would require when you apply for your permit. Why would Kayak know that???And, if you recall, when the rep from the company explained, in detail, what you’re responsible for regarding sand, clean-up, electric, etc., at that point if you thought you couldn’t handle it, you should’ve went with a different company. And with other companies, you’ll still have to run your electric. They’re pool installers, not electricians. We went with a Kayak pool because many of our friends already own them. One, of which, has a Kayak pool over 20 years old. The only issue they’ve ever had was needing the liner replaced after a decade, probably longer than that. Kayak also uses their own employees, not out-sourced workers. So, anyone looking for a good quality pool, Kayak is the route to go. They are expensive, but they will last. You just have to be willing to do your part. You won’t regret it!

I would love to give a higher rating, but I ran into trouble with this company, the salesman was OK, convinced us that we were working with the best company and getting a great pool, the company well what can I say differently from that of the other people that wrote reviews, same issues, late start, did not finish when promised, left mess they dont clean up, did not have the color we wanted in stock, the delivery driver backed into my door( Kayak paid for it) for it was caught on our cameras the guy denied it until we told him he was on camera, misleading on the decking we were told that it would not get hot to step on based on the material they use - I called to complain got no where. I wish they offered someone to come out to help close the pool for the first time, for I dont remember everything when the pool was completed. The manager I worked with was nice and tried to be helpful - but for the amount we paid, dont think it was worth it, and we agreed to be a demo house for people to come to see the for 2 summers - after all this was not worth it should have got a bigger savings. Would I recommend this company, I would say not really - I should have did more research before signing with this company, lesson learned.

I wish I could have gotten to use my pool more this past season. We received the pool late in the season- August- and were supposed to receive it at the beginning of July. I am happy with the lower maintenance of the pool. The bottom filters are great. We have had to watch quite a few YouTube videos in order to figure out care. Hoping the winter cover holds up well- I feel it is kind of flimsy and would like to upgrade, but it is expensive. The deck also gets very hot. I had to buy rugs. Hope the chlorine regulates itself. We seemed to use a lot this past season for the little time it was opened. I will enjoy it- I am sure though.

We had some problems at first with the pump going out. Had to get it replaced. Pool is great now. Love it.

We love our pool. It is roomy, easy to maintain and provides hours of fun. We look forward to owning it for a long time.
Installation was fast, pool school was great, and everything is included to get swimming the day of installation.
