Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Date Sent: 11/18/5:01:PM Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:He is just blowing steam because he doesn't want to fix his work or warranty his work Most reputable dealers back up their work for at least five years to life He told me this was warranted but now denies coverage.Just to clarify, in general, the inside work where there was no debris Major part of the interior there was NO DEBRIS There was only DEBRIS as he calls it was only in one small room where he worked The 'debris' was boxes from the moving company that are too heavy for me to move and unpack due to my disabilities We resolved it by the short guy doing it, we ran wooden planks making a subfloor which actually worked better than a ladder and gave this very short stature person access to the whole room ast the perfect level for his height and it worked great That was only to paint an already good ceiling with the same color to match the patched spot In the spot that needed the most work and patched had ALL BOXES AND FURNITURE MOVED BACK TO ALLOW FULL ACCESS TO FIX THAT HOLE There would be no reason that section should not be perfect, but, at a this time, this section of the roof is not leaking so IS NOT part of this complaint Both the bathroom had everything removed except toilet, sink and tub Everything was removed from the LIving Room (it was all pushed back into the dining room where no work was being done) except three piece leather couches that could not be moved from the room but could be moved from side to side as they worked the room and I had no problem doing that for themHe said he would cover up which he did in a half-assed fashion and still got pain on it He did not cover the rug and got spackle and and one point even spilled paint he had to wash out at the time and there is still a stain He was very sloppy with spackle where he patched the wall in the Living Room, getting it into the baseboard heating grates, all over door, etc Nothing was in the way but his stuff in that area So, since the room that had the boxes is not included in this complaint, the boxes in the bedroom are not at issue (And the guy doing that room enjoyed reading and getting into my private stuff in the boxes as he was talking to me about them Very unprofessional.) He kept coming in and turning on ALL THE LIGHTS and then leaving and not using them in this area He did this over and over The room was already very bright as it was a sunny day and no light was really needed It is apparently, despite doing that, they still missed many patches of paint and did very sloppy edges all over the room The point was, when not working, the would turn all the lights on and then just leave them instead of turning them off when going away for long periods at a timeI hurt myself moving all the stuff out of living room and there was no way to push couch set out of way and was only things left in that room and easily pushed to one side or other when they worked I left them out since so difficult for me waiting for a return to fix the mess do I can get back to normal I have been horribly inconvenienced by thisAs far as the roof Do to multiple house levels, the roof has three different sections A lower front section, a back section and an upper front/garage section He completely replaced the entire lower section in the front, the entire back section in the back He agreed to fix the interior damage ONLY IN THE AREAS HE REPLACED THE ROOF The leaks are on the far side of the lower front section, no where near the upper front section that did not need replacement and was causing no problems He was hired to FIX the LEAKS and repair the damage done inside That entailed whatever repairs were needed inside and outside to accomplish that He guaranteed the roof would not leak when he was done There may be something he missed because he is not as experienced or talented as he presented himself and now, the leaks are in the Living Room in the same as they were before they HE TOTALLY FIXED THE ROOF AND INTERIOR ON that entire section Trying to blow smoke to say that it has something to do with another section of roof not even connected to the part he fixed that is leaking again, will not work I will have someone from the State Inspector come down here and take a look as you can see what he is saying is a blatant lie Of course, he hasn't even come to check it out despite my complaints so is BLINDLY making comments If he were here, he would see IT IS WHERE HE WAS HIRED TO FIX LEAKS, THE LEAKS ARE BACKSAnd if he were a decent person and a professional businessman, he would have offered to check it out and take care of it.The VERY SLOPPY taping/spackling/painting in Bathroom & Living Room are incidential He said professionals don't need to tape and the lines are very wavy Again, easily seen He did poor coverage and spots in both bathroom and living room are not completed covered His comments about cracks in the walls and need of complete rehab is a total exaggerationAnother blatant lie There are NO CRACKS in the walls He didn't do any prep when he painted, not even nail holes I had to ask him to do one screw hole that was obvious in bathroom and was a major production for him Most painters do prep especially fix nail holes at a minimum He did none Since he did no prep except ceiling and upper wall sections where leak damage was fixed So, if the walls were cracked all over, they would still be cracked and are not There are so many things in his statements that are blantant LIES AN UNTRUE, it is not even funny I had asked at least to have paint to fix the spots he missed within a couple days and he never even got me that Very, minor basic stuff that would have made a huge difference I am shocked he will not stand behind his work It started leaking within three months (where it was noticed) It was probably leaking immediately but took a while to it come through start making stains again I was going to cover other issues with him because he was supposed to return to do some extra trim work and stood me up on that meeting that was to happen within days of work Of course he was paid in full because the leaks didn't show they day he finished It took a few months to show up Some of this stuff could have been resolved right away His guys ripped off and broke connectors on my [redacted] cable that was attached along the edge of the house near the roof They left it laying across the roof where it could catch ice and snow and I asked to have it put back since I could not reach He never replaced the clips he broke tearing it off and the way he 'fixed' it was to throw it off the roof, handing unsightly in front of the windows That is how he dealt with that As I said, no care or attention to detail or care to me as a senior citizen and customerPretyy okey and unprofessional behavior He did not clean up any flower beds, there was stuff all over, pieces of shingles all over the place I asked if he was cleaning up the mess he threw on the deck and in my dogs' surround and he refused.Maybe he works with a lot of millionaires on the shoreline and kisses their butts; but he apparently feels a disabled, senior person can be treated like crap He seems like the type to suck up to the rich since he isn't.This guy needs to top lying, face reality that he screwed up; and worse, is not willing to make it right or back up his work He is the worse kind of contractor One that thinks his poop doesn't stink that wants to point stuff in other directions instead of just dealing with it and correcting the problem Since he has not been up to check it and and acts like this now, I am more than happy that I did not have him come to do the rest of the roof as I was planning to do He could have had that job if he had treated me right There is also the suspicion that attempts were made in that section to create problems while working on the other section to try to get the work as some things happened there right after they did the other work and there was evidence of tampering All he had to do was do things right and he would have gotten the other work I expect anyone to back up their work and he apparently is a liar who says he does and then doesn't.This IS THE SECTION HE TOTALLY replace the roof on and totally repaired interior ceiling on It is not near any other sections of roof that could possible affect it However, he has a very, very bad temper and is having a temper tantrum in his replies instead of dealing with the issue and the truth He wouldn't know the truth if it hit him in the head.I agree I did yell at the inconsiderate guy that jumped over my rocks into a perennial garden that had tiny plants just planted so it didn't look like much as it takes time to grow this type of garden from scratch when an old, disabled person has to do the work themselves (I mean these are HUGE rocks that there is no way you couldn't see.) I have a paved driveway and sidewalk he could have walked on The reason he was leaving is because he has workers he cannot control and the guy didn't like being told to behave by meIt would have been nice if he realized he needed to be more considerate at that point, but it continued throughout the workHe is the same guy that ended up snooping in they stuffHe also was the one that starting just ripping lights on on the section of the house where they were not replacing the roof and could have ASKED firstI asked ahead of time about what needed moved and no one mentioned anything outsideThen ***, dropped his heavy cords on my llillies that have grown beautifully for years instead of going feet around the outside if that section Totally unnecessary and very, very rude and inconsiderate Sometimes, the consideration of other people's property when doing work is a big deal It is usually people that don't have much that do not understand how hard people work and don't care to be careful with others' property. He had done a better interior job, had better consideration and care from my personal property and covered the work that failed, this could have been a great job and reference and he completely ruined it and any chance of rectifying it by his nasty, childish responses and lies to try to deflect the real issue He should have been more interested in doing a good job than trying to snoop into areas of the house he did not have access to and in my boxes of personal items stored in the bedroomHe should be more interested in fixing his bad work to regain his reputation Bad news travels faster than good news and can really hurt a business If he wants good things said, he need to do the right thing which he is doing anything but Most contractors provide their own materials I provided paper towels and contractor bags because he ran out He also used my ladder because it was better than his Just a lot of little things that add up, but the work fixing the leaks is the biggest failure because the leaks are still there on that lower front section. To be honest, his responses to this complaint sound like a two year old having a temper tantrum He needs to FOCUS on the real issue The work he did on the front lower section of roof is not fixed and is leaking just like it did before I paid him to fix it and that is the biggest problem that needs resolved I hope when he gets is temper under control, he will realize this needs to be resolved like an adult and bringing up totally unrelated issues is just a stall on his partSincerely, [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

I can’t say enough good things about SaulHe came right on timeHis communication skills are excellentHe carefully, thoroughly and patiently described the options, he listensHe came up with an acceptable solution to a very thorny problem that I hadHe called and answered callsHe warrantees his workHe was personally on the job throughoutThe things he told me, so far as I can determine, were trueHe did the work immediately without waitingHe did a lot of extra work that was not in the contract and did not charge for itHe tested to see if the roof leaked after he did some work, it didn’tHe came back a week after the job was done just to double check on itHe offered helpful advice on other matters, he genuinely seemed to careBasically he went way beyond the bounds of what he needed to do, was kind and very helpful in every wayHe and his excellent crew spent a day and a half correcting some of the havoc left by a previous rooferThen they put on a silicone layer over the entire roofI would defiantly hire him again, as a matter of fact I am going to hire him again, I most highly recommend himHe seems not only to be a good roofer but also an excellent human being

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I never cried - that is just bull he adding for unnecessary drama He new I was a senior, disabled citizen but took advantage of knowing that instead of helping me., his guys were going over rocks into a protected area instead of using the driveway/sidewalk I should have taken their careless actions as a message from God to just let them go and get someone elseYou could see much growning because delicate, newly planted perennials where there which they trampled and killed Not only did he NOT clean any flower beds, he left debris he refused to clean up on my deck and basement surround The so called flower bed is where he yanked out my newly installed lighting and ruined it.First of all, this complaint is just over a year as I gave me over a year from my last complaint when the roof started leaking right over again He had had plenty of time prior to my going to [redacted] , which is my next stepHe should be grateful he was given the time The roof that he COMPLETED replaced is the part that is leaking and started only a couple months after he did the work Since he never provided the paint he used on the ceiling and the ceiling has big missing patches of paint that he was in a hurry and poorly painted.A number of things in his response are lies which further indicates bad will The interior patching on the ceiling he 'fixed' looks like hell and has to be redone and all the edges fixed around the room he fully painted and missed huge spots Since the roof has to be redone where he did it and the ceiling fixed where the subsequent leaks came through are where the painted the ceiling It will all need repainted because I have no paint to patch it He never left any ceiling paint to fix his errors. He left in a big rush and never went over anythingWhen I told him about the spackle, he just made some nasty comment he doesn't clean that up My heating system coils were damaged by that going into them due his being too lazy to cover....spackle splashed on walls and where applied, not even smoothed out YOu can still see the tape where it patched bathroom ceilingVery, very poor workmanship as he was more interested in hurring it up and getting his money than doing a good job Once he was fully paid, he just ignored all my requests and reports of issues. If I cannot get the money to redo all his poorly done work, my next call is to the State His response shows his attitude and ill-will Most people would come forward He is a liar that he didn't know about it Had things worked out, I was going to have him do more work Since he is so non-responsive and offers no warranties on his work (most reputable roofers offer at least years or more), I will have no other choice but to pursue legal action against his license to operate Sincerely, [redacted]

I found Kellner Roofing to be a very professional company to work with Saul gave me a very accurate and honest estimateThey showed up on time, their work was neat and clean There were no surprises I would highly recommend them

Again I' amazed when someone has nothing to do but try to get something for nothing, I know the roof is not leaking as you know from reading her story, We only did part of the roof she needs the whole roof done hence the complaintCalling me a liar , that is between you god I know and you know that is exactly what happen it will only take minutes to question you to see how erratic this person is, But not admitting you screamed and started crying when I said I was leaving tells me and I hope anyone else that reads this, that I was dealing a with a person that is under duressI wish I did not take this job I had a gut feeling about this situation, But after the work was done and she was happy at the end she paid me in full , That would seem that the work was done satisfactory when she was out there checking every minutes she had plenty time to communicate to me that she was not happy, And hold the last check until she was satisfiedAlmost two years later OMG reallymaybe we should ask the neighbors if other contractor had similar issues as wellWhat I see here is that she wants money to do the other part of the roof which was failing at the time and now found a way to do it,I will bet this has happened to other contractors as well with her and probable gave inAs far as the painting which I did extra some ares like the hall and stairs, The room was completely filed with debris and we had to scaffold on top of the boxes, a company would have charged her double to do that Again I will say this, when a person will not admit about how we started this job is willing to say anythingI am not going any further than thisif you want make a complaint that's your right But I will also make a counter complaint as welland maybe post some this on [redacted] websight seems like you want to destroy my reputation which is impeccable I will consider my options as wellOMG

I have to admit this is the first time I have heard of this complaint ,, When we first arrived on the job she started to yell at my guys for just starting to set things up, we could not decipher if we were walking on weeds or flowers since her property was not maintained, so we
told her we will try to do our best under these conditions. her screaming was so bad that I told her I am leaving the job and taking everything back that's when she started to cry Being a gentlemen as all of my customers know who I am, and vouch for me, is that I felt sorry for her condition so she apologized and needed the job done. We only did a partial area of the roof which I know it doesn't leak, this is the first time I have heard of this complaintI was never EVER CONTACTED OF ANY PROBLEM that existedWhen the job was finished she was very pleased and I know for fact that what we did was done properly because it has SNOWED RAINED AND STORMED since then and now I'm getting this complaintOh one more thing why now is she talking about disrespect almost two years later ,she paid in full and two years later she is bring bring this upAlso we gave her a lot extras and cleaned her flower bed around houseWOW years later she contacts better business instead of calling Kellner the two years ago.7,The painting job was done well, if they are cracks in the walls now maybe having a old cathedral ceiling and heating and cooling has something to do with it .This house needs a total remodel not just a patch in which we did, and painted some rooms under a house that we could not work because it was filled with boxes ,books, we could even turn with running into something you needed a mover to move everything out before we had to work.I have to admit this is the FIRST TIME I HAVE HEARD THIS, I have over customers and I guess no matter what you do you cant make everyone happy but it is IRONIC that two years later I get this complaint. But I have over customers that will vouch for me and and know I am honest respectful and giving.P.S she needs to do the rest of the roof

Prompt service upon calling them Very honest and helpful Diagnosed a small leak in my roof and fixed it without issue At no time did they make you feel pressured for more work outside scope of job An overall positive experience

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Date Sent: 11/18/5:01:PM Complaint: *** I am rejecting this response because:He is just blowing steam because he doesn't want to fix his work or warranty his work. Most reputable dealers back up their work for at least five years to life. He told me this was warranted but now denies coverage.Just to clarify, in general, the inside work where there was no debris. Major part of the interior there was NO DEBRIS. There was only DEBRIS as he calls it was only in one small room where he worked. The 'debris' was boxes from the moving company that are too heavy for me to move and unpack due to my disabilities. We resolved it by the short guy doing it, we ran wooden planks making a subfloor which actually worked better than a ladder and gave this very short stature person access to the whole room ast the perfect level for his height and it worked great. That was only to paint an already good ceiling with the same color to match the patched spot. In the spot that needed the most work and patched had ALL BOXES AND FURNITURE MOVED BACK TO ALLOW FULL ACCESS TO FIX THAT HOLE. There would be no reason that section should not be perfect, but, at a this time, this section of the roof is not leaking so IS NOT part of this complaint. Both the bathroom had everything removed except toilet, sink and tub. Everything was removed from the LIving Room (it was all pushed back into the dining room where no work was being done) except three piece leather couches that could not be moved from the room but could be moved from side to side as they worked the room and I had no problem doing that for themHe said he would cover up which he did in a half-assed fashion and still got pain on it. He did not cover the rug and got spackle and and one point even spilled paint he had to wash out at the time and there is still a stain. He was very sloppy with spackle where he patched the wall in the Living Room, getting it into the baseboard heating grates, all over door, etc. Nothing was in the way but his stuff in that area. So, since the room that had the boxes is not included in this complaint, the boxes in the bedroom are not at issue. (And the guy doing that room enjoyed reading and getting into my private stuff in the boxes as he was talking to me about them. Very unprofessional.) He kept coming in and turning on ALL THE LIGHTS and then leaving and not using them in this area. He did this over and over. The room was already very bright as it was a sunny day and no light was really needed. It is apparently, despite doing that, they still missed many patches of paint and did very sloppy edges all over the room. The point was, when not working, the would turn all the lights on and then just leave them instead of turning them off when going away for long periods at a timeI hurt myself moving all the stuff out of living room and there was no way to push couch set out of way and was only things left in that room and easily pushed to one side or other when they worked. I left them out since so difficult for me waiting for a return to fix the mess do I can get back to normal. I have been horribly inconvenienced by thisAs far as the roof. Do to multiple house levels, the roof has three different sections. A lower front section, a back section and an upper front/garage section. He completely replaced the entire lower section in the front, the entire back section in the back. He agreed to fix the interior damage ONLY IN THE AREAS HE REPLACED THE ROOF. The leaks are on the far side of the lower front section, no where near the upper front section that did not need replacement and was causing no problems. He was hired to FIX the LEAKS and repair the damage done inside. That entailed whatever repairs were needed inside and outside to accomplish that. He guaranteed the roof would not leak when he was done. There may be something he missed because he is not as experienced or talented as he presented himself and now, the leaks are in the Living Room in the same as they were before they HE TOTALLY FIXED THE ROOF AND INTERIOR ON that entire section. Trying to blow smoke to say that it has something to do with another section of roof not even connected to the part he fixed that is leaking again, will not work. I will have someone from the State Inspector come down here and take a look as you can see what he is saying is a blatant lie. Of course, he hasn't even come to check it out despite my complaints so is BLINDLY making comments. If he were here, he would see IT IS WHERE HE WAS HIRED TO FIX LEAKS, THE LEAKS ARE BACKSAnd if he were a decent person and a professional businessman, he would have offered to check it out and take care of it.The VERY SLOPPY taping/spackling/painting in Bathroom & Living Room are incidential. He said professionals don't need to tape and the lines are very wavy. Again, easily seen. He did poor coverage and spots in both bathroom and living room are not completed covered. His comments about cracks in the walls and need of complete rehab is a total exaggerationAnother blatant lie. There are NO CRACKS in the walls. He didn't do any prep when he painted, not even nail holes. I had to ask him to do one screw hole that was obvious in bathroom and was a major production for him. Most painters do prep especially fix nail holes at a minimum. He did none.. Since he did no prep except ceiling and upper wall sections where leak damage was fixed. So, if the walls were cracked all over, they would still be cracked and are not. There are so many things in his statements that are blantant LIES AN UNTRUE, it is not even funny. I had asked at least to have paint to fix the spots he missed within a couple days and he never even got me that. Very, minor basic stuff that would have made a huge difference. I am shocked he will not stand behind his work. It started leaking within three months (where it was noticed). It was probably leaking immediately but took a while to it come through start making stains again. I was going to cover other issues with him because he was supposed to return to do some extra trim work and stood me up on that meeting that was to happen within days of work. Of course he was paid in full because the leaks didn't show they day he finished. It took a few months to show up. Some of this stuff could have been resolved right away. His guys ripped off and broke connectors on my *** cable that was attached along the edge of the house near the roof. They left it laying across the roof where it could catch ice and snow and I asked to have it put back since I could not reach. He never replaced the clips he broke tearing it off and the way he 'fixed' it was to throw it off the roof, handing unsightly in front of the windows. That is how he dealt with that. As I said, no care or attention to detail or care to me as a senior citizen and customerPretyy okey and unprofessional behavior. He did not clean up any flower beds, there was stuff all over, pieces of shingles all over the place. I asked if he was cleaning up the mess he threw on the deck and in my dogs' surround and he refused.Maybe he works with a lot of millionaires on the shoreline and kisses their butts; but he apparently feels a disabled, senior person can be treated like crap. He seems like the type to suck up to the rich since he isn't.This guy needs to top lying, face reality that he screwed up; and worse, is not willing to make it right or back up his work. He is the worse kind of contractor. One that thinks his poop doesn't stink that wants to point stuff in other directions instead of just dealing with it and correcting the problem. Since he has not been up to check it and and acts like this now, I am more than happy that I did not have him come to do the rest of the roof as I was planning to do. He could have had that job if he had treated me right. There is also the suspicion that attempts were made in that section to create problems while working on the other section to try to get the work as some things happened there right after they did the other work and there was evidence of tampering. All he had to do was do things right and he would have gotten the other work. I expect anyone to back up their work and he apparently is a liar who says he does and then doesn't.This IS THE SECTION HE TOTALLY replace the roof on and totally repaired interior ceiling on. It is not near any other sections of roof that could possible affect it. However, he has a very, very bad temper and is having a temper tantrum in his replies instead of dealing with the issue and the truth. He wouldn't know the truth if it hit him in the head.I agree I did yell at the inconsiderate guy that jumped over my rocks into a perennial garden that had tiny plants just planted so it didn't look like much as it takes time to grow this type of garden from scratch when an old, disabled person has to do the work themselves. (I mean these are HUGE rocks that there is no way you couldn't see.) I have a paved driveway and sidewalk he could have walked on. The reason he was leaving is because he has workers he cannot control and the guy didn't like being told to behave by meIt would have been nice if he realized he needed to be more considerate at that point, but it continued throughout the workHe is the same guy that ended up snooping in they stuffHe also was the one that starting just ripping lights on on the section of the house where they were not replacing the roof and could have ASKED firstI asked ahead of time about what needed moved and no one mentioned anything outsideThen ***, dropped his heavy cords on my llillies that have grown beautifully for years instead of going feet around the outside if that section. Totally unnecessary and very, very rude and inconsiderate. Sometimes, the consideration of other people's property when doing work is a big deal. It is usually people that don't have much that do not understand how hard people work and don't care to be careful with others' property. He had done a better interior job, had better consideration and care from my personal property and covered the work that failed, this could have been a great job and reference and he completely ruined it and any chance of rectifying it by his nasty, childish responses and lies to try to deflect the real issue. He should have been more interested in doing a good job than trying to snoop into areas of the house he did not have access to and in my boxes of personal items stored in the bedroomHe should be more interested in fixing his bad work to regain his reputation. Bad news travels faster than good news and can really hurt a business. If he wants good things said, he need to do the right thing which he is doing anything but. Most contractors provide their own materials. I provided paper towels and contractor bags because he ran out. He also used my ladder because it was better than his. Just a lot of little things that add up, but the work fixing the leaks is the biggest failure because the leaks are still there on that lower front section. To be honest, his responses to this complaint sound like a two year old having a temper tantrum. He needs to FOCUS on the real issue. The work he did on the front lower section of roof is not fixed and is leaking just like it did before I paid him to fix it and that is the biggest problem that needs resolved. I hope when he gets is temper under control, he will realize this needs to be resolved like an adult and bringing up totally unrelated issues is just a stall on his partSincerely, *** ***

Almost two years later OMG reallymaybe we should ask the neighbors if other contractor had similar issues as well. What I see here is that she wants money to do the other part of the roof which was failing at the time and now found a way to do it,I will bet this has happened to other contractors as well with her and probable gave in.As far as the painting which I did extra some ares like the hall and stairs, The room was completely filed with debris and we had to scaffold on top of the boxes, a company would have charged her double to do that. Again I will say this, when a person will not admit about how we started this job is willing to say anythingI am not going any further than thisif you want make a complaint that's your right But I will also make a counter complaint as welland maybe post some this on *** websight seems like you want to destroy my reputation which is impeccable I will consider my options as well.OMG

I can not say enough about the quality of service, professionalism, and quick response to not only my phone call but to my HOME that needed immediate attentionSaul responded to me in minutes and came out to assess the roof and give me a quote after his work day was already completeHe started immediately on the spot and stopped my roof from leaking into my bedroom and came back the next morning with his team to finish the jobThis type of service is rare and Saul made me feel like I was a family member That he'd go to any length to make sure the job was done rightI would say that he is just that as I will no longer use anyone else but Kellner Home Improvement!!

So far she admitted to screaming and crying, also that there was nothing in the way , I think person is a cyber bully and waiting almost a yuears to complain tells me that she is erradict, It's been almost years this is the first time I have heard this , anyone can just make up stuff just to collectAgain I have plenty of customers that will vouch for me I'm wondering who would vouch for her. This is very upsetting to me to deal with someone that has issues and will blame anyone for anythingI'm not spending day's to make stuff up I like to take care of people and help people That is a Fact but to make lies and accusations after almost two years is very upsetting, If you need two thousand dollars why didn't you ask for it I might have loan it to you

He should be grateful he was given the time.  The roof that he COMPLETED replaced is the part that is leaking and started only a couple months after he did the work.  Since he never provided the paint he used on the ceiling and the ceiling has big missing patches of paint that he was in a hurry and poorly painted.A number of things in his response are lies which further indicates bad will.  The interior patching on the ceiling he 'fixed' looks like hell and has to be redone and all the edges fixed around the room he fully painted and missed huge spots.  Since the roof has to be redone where he did it and the ceiling fixed where the subsequent leaks came through are where the painted the ceiling.  It will all need repainted because I have no paint to patch it.  He never left any ceiling paint to fix his errors. He left in a big rush and never went over anything. When I told him about the spackle, he just made some nasty comment he doesn't clean that up.  My heating system coils were damaged by that going into them due his being too lazy to cover....spackle splashed on walls and where applied, not even smoothed out.  YOu can still see the tape where it patched bathroom ceiling.. Very, very poor workmanship as he was more interested in hurring it up and getting his money than doing a good job.  Once he was fully paid, he just ignored all my requests and reports of issues. If I cannot get the money to redo all his poorly done work, my next call is to the State.  His response shows his attitude and ill-will.  Most people would come forward.  He is a liar that he didn't know about it.  Had things worked out, I was going to have him do more work.  Since he is so non-responsive and offers no warranties on his work (most reputable roofers offer at least 5 years or more), I will have no other choice but to pursue legal action against his license to operate.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Again I' amazed when someone has nothing to do but try to get something for nothing, I know the roof is not leaking as you know from reading her story, We only did part of the roof she needs the whole roof done hence the complaint. Calling me a liar , that is between you god I know and you know that is exactly what happen it will only take 5 minutes to question you to see how erratic this person is, But not admitting you screamed and started crying when I said I was leaving tells me and I hope anyone else that reads this, that I was dealing a with a person that is under duress.
I wish I did not take this job I had a gut feeling about this situation,   But after the work was done and she was happy at the end she paid me in full , That would seem that the work was done satisfactory when she was out there checking every 5 minutes she had plenty  time to communicate to me that she was not happy, And hold the last check until she was satisfied. Almost two years later OMG really. maybe we should ask the neighbors if other contractor had similar issues as well.
What I see here is that she wants money to do the other part of the roof which was failing at the time and now found a way to do it,. I will bet this has happened to other contractors as well with her and probable gave in.
As far as the painting which I did extra some ares  like the hall and stairs, The room was completely filed with debris and we had to scaffold on top of the boxes, a company would have charged her double to do that.
Again I will say this, when a person will not admit about how we started this job is willing to say anything. I am not going any further than this. if you want make a complaint that's your right . But I will also make a counter complaint as well. and maybe post some this on [redacted] websight seems like you want to destroy my reputation which is impeccable I will consider my options as well.
OMG.

So far she admitted to screaming and crying, also that there was nothing in the way , I think person is a cyber bully and waiting almost a 2 yuears to complain tells me that she is erradict, It's been  almost 2 years this is the first time I have heard this , anyone can just make up stuff just to collect. Again I have plenty of customers that will vouch for me I'm wondering who would vouch for her.
This is very upsetting to me to deal with someone that has issues and will blame anyone for anything. I'm not spending day's to make stuff up I like to take care of people and help people That is a Fact but to make lies and accusations after almost two years is very  upsetting, If you need  two thousand dollars why didn't you ask for it I might have loan it to you.

I am rejecting this response because:
Date Sent: 11/18/2014 5:01:24 PM  Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:He is just blowing steam because he doesn't want to fix his work or warranty his work. Everything was removed from the LIving Room (it was all pushed back into the dining room where no work was being done) except three piece leather couches that could not be moved from the room but could be moved from side to side as they worked the room and I had no problem doing that for them. He said he would cover up which he did in a half-assed fashion and still got pain on it. The point was, when not working, the would turn all the lights on and then just leave them instead of turning them off when going away for long periods at a time. I hurt myself moving all the stuff out of living room and there was no way to push couch set out of way and was only things left in that room and easily pushed to one side or other when they worked.  I left them out since so difficult for me waiting for a return to fix the mess do I can get back to normal.  I have been horribly inconvenienced by this. As far as the roof. If he were here, he would see IT IS WHERE HE WAS HIRED TO FIX LEAKS, THE LEAKS ARE BACK. SAnd if he were a decent person and a professional businessman, he would have offered to check it out and take care of it.The VERY SLOPPY taping/spackling/painting in Bathroom & Living Room are incidential.  He said professionals don't need to tape and the lines are very wavy.  Again, easily seen.  He did poor coverage and spots in both bathroom and living room are not completed covered.  His comments about cracks in the walls and need of complete rehab is a total exaggeration. Another blatant lie. I was going to cover other issues with him because he was supposed to return to do some extra trim work and stood me up on that meeting that was to happen within 10 days of work.  Of course he was paid in full because the leaks didn't show they day he finished.  It took a few months to show up.  Some of this stuff could have been resolved right away.  His guys ripped off and broke connectors on my [redacted] cable that was attached along the edge of the house near the roof.  They left it laying across the roof where it could catch ice and snow and I asked to have it put back since I could not reach.  He never replaced the clips he broke tearing it off and the way he 'fixed' it was to throw it off the roof, handing unsightly in front of the windows.  That is how he dealt with that.  As I said, no care or attention to detail or care to me as a senior citizen and customer. Pretyy okey and unprofessional behavior. The reason he was leaving is because he has workers he cannot control and the guy didn't like being told to behave by me. It would have been nice if he realized he needed to be more considerate at that point, but it continued throughout the work. He is the same guy that ended up snooping in they stuff. He also was the one that starting just ripping lights on on the section of the house where they were not replacing the roof and could have ASKED first. I asked ahead of time about what needed moved and no one mentioned anything outside. Then [redacted], dropped his heavy cords on my llillies that have grown beautifully for years instead of going 2 feet around the outside if that section. He should have been more interested in doing a good job than trying to snoop into areas of the house he did not have access to and in my boxes of personal items stored in the bedroom. He should be more interested in fixing his bad work to regain his reputation. I hope when he gets is temper under control, he will realize this needs to be resolved like an adult and bringing up totally unrelated issues is just a stall on his part. Sincerely, [redacted]

I found Kellner Roofing to be a very professional company to work with. Saul gave me a very accurate and honest estimate. They showed up on time, their work was neat and clean. There were no surprises. I would highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough good things about Saul. He came right on time. His communication skills are excellent. He carefully, thoroughly and patiently described the options, he listens. He came up with an acceptable solution to a very thorny problem that I had. He called and answered calls. He warrantees his work. He was personally on the job throughout. The things he told me, so far as I can determine, were true. He did the work immediately without waiting. He did a lot of extra work that was not in the contract and did not charge for it. He tested to see if the roof leaked after he did some work, it didn’t. He came back a week after the job was done just to double check on it. He offered helpful advice on other matters, he genuinely seemed to care. Basically he went way beyond the bounds of what he needed to do, was kind and very helpful in every way. He and his excellent crew spent a day and a half correcting some of the havoc left by a previous roofer. Then they put on a silicone layer over the entire roof. I would defiantly hire him again, as a matter of fact I am going to hire him again, I most highly recommend him. He seems not only to be a good roofer but also an excellent human being.

Prompt service upon calling them. Very honest and helpful. Diagnosed a small leak in my roof and fixed it without issue. At no time did they make you feel pressured for more work outside scope of job. An overall positive experience.
