I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Upon reading the response from Kentucky Singles they failed to mention that I spoke with a senior staff member trying to resolve this situation prior to notifying the Revdex.com. They are not willing to compromise. I have offered to resolve this with a partial refund of my $3995. The fact that I tried to obtain a refund in less than 24 hours, I find completely unreasonable. They have referred to their business as a service and not a product that can be returned. I do understand the difference, and I also understand that minimal services had been preformed in the time frame of 13 hours. I also would like to point out that there is no mention of the services not being refundable. If Ky Singles has such a strict policy then that needs to be made clear prior to signing their contract. Upon leaving KY singles I did feel as though I had been victimized by their sales pitch. Upon reading the contract I realize that the non-refundable clause is to protect them from not having to return my money without them doing anything.I believe KY Singles tries to obfuscate the real issue " they have not performed any service for you, but they want to get paid.I would also like to make the Revdex.com aware that this is not a new issue against KY singles. Please investigate this company and their shady business procedures. I also feel certain that there are more clients out there that feel they too signed the contract under duress and would like refunds as well.As I stated before I am more than willing to come to some type of compromise with KY singles regarding my refund.

I did not get to the point in my conversation with the Director of continuing to agree to meet referrals for an indefinite period of time.  The director did indicate that they would plan to communicate with me monthly.  I believe that the corrective strategies put forth are basic business practices, of which have not been met in my experience with KySingles.  The structure of the program and staffing seem to indicate that there are inherent gaps of service that will continue to be present in my experience going forward.

However, as we explained (and it is listed in the signed agreement), the fee our clients agree to is non-refundable. Ms. [redacted] states that we are somehow “irresponsible”, but we are simply following the terms of the agreement. We ask our clients to do the same.We believe it would be in Ms. [redacted]’ best interest to give our program a chance. Everyone has their own experience and experience is what we make of it. Ms. [redacted] came to us in search of someone special and we only wish to help her reach her goal. We tried speaking with Ms. [redacted] about this matter on 9/13, but she was adamant about a refund. We reminded her about the agreement and paperwork she signed during her interview. She then informed us she would dispute her credit card charge and contact the Revdex.com.In addition to signing a non-refundable agreement, Ms. [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states that she agrees to resolve any concerns she may have directly with our staff. She also agrees not to go to any outside agencies prior to setting up a phone conference with a senior member of our Client Relations team to try and reach a resolution. Ms. [redacted] also agreed to meet all of her purchased referrals in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet her expectations of our program. working with her. She joined our services on 6/14. When Ms. [redacted] left our office after her interview, we immediately began working for her and providing our services. We entered her information into our system, conducted her national background check, etc. We called Ms. [redacted] to remind her to complete her online profile, which is required of her in order for us to activate her account and begin the match search.We activated Ms. [redacted]’s account on 6/26 and called to inform her. We then began the match search. We explain to our clients that we are unable to predict the time frame and frequency of matches, but we will search on their behalf on a monthly basis. This information is listed in the Regulations pamphlet Ms. [redacted] received a copy of upon joining our services.Ms. [redacted] informed us that she would be traveling throughout the next year and would be available for up to 10 days at a time. We were actively searching through potential matches and we then received her credit card dispute, to our surprise. Ms. [redacted]’s program had only just begun. We responded with the requested information and the case is still currently pending. However, we have been in touch with Ms. [redacted] recently. We left her a voice message on 8/18 and again today, 8/21, to discuss a match/referral. Now, we have received this complaint.Ms. [redacted] signed a non-refundable agreement and she also signed a client obligation form which states she agreed to meet all of her purchased matches so that she may give Kentucky Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. She also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly with our staff. This includes contacting her credit card company, the Revdex.com, the Attorney General, etc. She agrees to talk with Client Services. If we still cannot correct the problem, she agrees to let Client Services set up a phone meeting with a senior member of the Client Resolution Team to explain her complaint and let the Client Resolution Team try to resolve the complaint to her satisfaction. Ms. [redacted] did not previously contact us with any concerns, until we received her credit card dispute. As you can see above, we have provided Ms. [redacted] with our services promised thus far. We provide our clients with various documents upon joining our services which explain everything they can expect during their program, while trying to keep their expectations realistic. We would like to continue working with Ms. [redacted]. She has agreed to give us 6 chances to help find her someone special. Her program has only just begun. We would like nothing more than to put this matter behind us and move forward in a positive direction with Ms. [redacted]’s program.Thank you for your time.Kindest Regards,Kentucky Singles

To Whom It May Concern, We also included a copy of the agreement in our e-mail response to Revdex.com. You will notice under paragraphs #19, #20 and #21, the fee Ms. [redacted] agreed to is non-refundable. Ms. [redacted] also initialed next to the bottom clause of the contract which explains that the client agrees to the terms of the agreement and the Regulations which were provided.Yes, we did offer a settlement to Ms. [redacted]. However, she refused our offer. Ms. [redacted] then changed her mind about the terms of the settlement. Since Ms. [redacted]'s agreement shows the fee is non-refundable, we believe we have been fair in our proposal.Please let us know if you require any additional information. The Kentucky Singles made an offer via email which I am still looking into. We will negotiate the terms of the offer and see where that leads. In the best interest of other consumers, I would like to suggest to the Revdex.com to look at the business practices of KS and make their judgment and determination using those other complaints lodged against the business via [redacted] and [redacted]. Based on the testimony of other aggrieved parties, and solely on complaints agaihst service not performed for payments made, it is incumbent on the Revdex.com to make a judgment that does not exonerate KS from any wrong doing.

We are in receipt of the complaint from Ms. [redacted]. We will address her claims below. 
Kentucky Singles is an elite matchmaking firm. We specialize in helping individuals find someone special and have been responsible for MANY successful relationships. When Ms. [redacted] joined our services, we...

promised to match her with gentlemen who are most mutually compatible with her, according to the information our clients provide to us and the 21 compatibility questions our clients answer in their profiles. We use preferences as a guideline for matching and we try to come as close as we possibly can to what our clients are looking for. This is explained in the interview and is included in the paperwork we provide to our clients when they join our services.
Ms. [redacted] elected to purchase a program which consists of 8 matches (plus 1 bonus match if needed) and all of the services involved in providing those referrals. We have matched Ms. [redacted] with 10 gentlemen thus far. Although the work had been performed on Ms. [redacted]’s behalf, since some matches did not work out for one reason or another, we have continued our search for her.
Our Regulations pamphlet (which Ms. [redacted] received a copy of when she joined and agreed to having reviewed in her agreement) explains what our clients can expect during their program. One of the important topics is #3: “Referrals”, which states that our clients understand that no two people are generally perfectly compatible and they agree that we will use our best judgment in providing referrals that most nearly match their requirements. It also states that compatibility is very subjective and we will send our clients referrals we deem, in our sole and absolute discretion, as "likely most mutually compatible" as indicated in our client’s profiles. We also state under #4: “Mutual Agreement”, that not all people will agree to meet their matches and that our clients will NOT like everyone they meet.
We feel it would be in Ms. [redacted]’s best interest to continue with the program and not give up. We know that finding a companion is important to her. Ms. [redacted] signed a client obligation form which states that she agrees to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude. She also agrees to meet all of her purchased matches so that she may give our company the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. In addition, she agrees to contact us directly if she should have any concerns regarding her program prior to contacting a third party agency.
More importantly, Ms. [redacted] signed an agreement which states in two paragraphs that the fee she paid is non-refundable. Therefore, she will not be eligible for a refund. We would like nothing more than to put this behind us and resume Ms. [redacted]’s services.
Our Director of Client Relations has reached out to Ms. [redacted] to discuss her concerns. She left Ms. [redacted] a voice message and sent her a follow-up e-mail. We hope to hear back from her soon. We ask that she contacts us as soon as possible, so we can discuss this matter directly with her. We want her to know we have her best interest at heart and only want success for her.
