Someone literally copied all the text from my ad and re-posted without photos at $less than my listingPeople got scammed by it then I found it and reported it Now those people who got scammed are contacting me, blaming me and reporting me to the police Why do I need to provide safety to the users of your website? Can't you just filter out ads that are DIRECT COPIES of other people's ads?

I posted an ad on [redacted] several days agoIt was working fine until yesterday, the ad is still showing but they have blocked all the incoming or outgoing emails and our log in info When I contacted them about it and they send me no response but instead reported my email to [redacted] that I am violating terms and conditions and we have lost all of our emails, all the contacts and our whole business! No answer as why we have been blocked or why they have reported us to [redacted] ? We did contact [redacted] and they did confirm that they were contacted by [redacted] to suspend our account and after finding nothing they did restore our account but it was a horrific experience How could [redacted] ruin someones life without any explanation or liability!?! I know they have very bad reputation and there is a lot of people describing the same issue on forums regarding [redacted] problems but they do not care as they make a lot more money by cancelling ads then reposting [redacted] deletes ads after a short

I have been a long time advertiser with Kijiji; since June and paid a Top Ad fee every month for all that timeThat has represented 1000's of dollars paid over the yearsthis past weekend they dropped several of my ads; including which I had just paid the top Ad fees for the monthThey sent some canned explanations of multiple items in the ads and are not offering to credit the payment I just made a few days beforeAfter the amount of time and money I has spent with them, a courtesy email or call to let me know what needed to be changed, seems far more reasonable than just deleting my adsI am extremely disappointed with Kijiji's attitude with long term customers

three days ago kijiji started to block and delete my ads saying I'm using multiple accounts, I agreed to keep only one account active, minutes after that they blocked my only account again saying I have another account which I don't since THEY BLOCKED IT AS WE AGREED, since then they keep activate and block my ads claiming that I have more than one account WITH NO PROOF, until finally they said that someone talked to me on the online chat ( which is never happened ) and activated one of my other accounts ( which I don't have )and they will no longer offer any help or response to my complain

my complaint is registed with KIJIJI...!! When I try to post an add it says I must give a url to complete the ad I dont have a url? how can I get my ad posted with out all the aggravation of this.??

Operates like a monoply would, now that they are owned by ***I needed to sell an old car but their server had issues that night, attempted to upload the same ad twice, no luck, on the 3rd attempt it went through but listed me as a dealer and required $to upload the ad (you get two free then you are a 'dealer')I paid, because I needed to sell it badlySpoke with customer service to ask for a refund (ads were never posted), apparently it is "...not our policy to issue refunds."

Kijiji's website is extremely unsafe for users, because it condone advertisers whose actions, have harmed the public in some wayDespite complaints to kijiji, it will continue to have them advertise their services and or products, and kijiji has no regards for public safetyIt is all about moneyThis site should be more stricter regulated to ensure public safetyIt should also be held accountable legally, for any injury or loss to the consumer, when it allows unscrupulous persons to advertise on its
website and have acted criminally, in some way or the otherKijiji should be liable and especially, when it continues to allow those advertisers to continue to use its site, despite public complaints

To whom it may concern .when the public file a complaint or review on one of your ads Be it one or several on the same ad This should be taken very seriouslyBut the ads remainThis is putting the public at risk I, m going use your own quote These are your wordsGive us your feedback so we can protect the kijiji communityThank you for your attention on this matter

Attempted to post an ad for my new business, ad was deleted sighting that I was not in Canada (I am) When reaching out they said I had to go through a verification process After a few minutes and questions the help desk support informed me that I was not a good fit for Kijiji and asked that I not appeal or question their decision and kicked me out of chatGlad I didn't spend any money on the ad because they probably would have refused to refund it

Ip banned me, and customer service refused to communicate or explain the situation

I live in Saskatchewan and own a single property in Calgary AlbertaI have used Kijiji to rent this property in the past - and ONLY this property as I have no others that I would rent via KijijiWhen I tried to post an ad to the property it was removedI then sent an email support ticket that has been ignored, finally I tried using the chat support and I was told"Upon review of your account, we've made the decision that we are not the appropriate advertisement platform for you personally or your business modelWe do appreciate your understanding and cooperationI deeply apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and we thank you in advance for respecting our decision."After this comment the connection was closed
I offered to post as a business if that was more appropriate, or get any feedback as to how I could rectify the situation and overtime they respond with the same canned message and close the connection on me

It's sad that a once very useful and helpful resource has fallen to the 21st century greed of big businessFurthermore, I don't even shop there a tenth of one percent as much as I used to due to the *** inconvenience that new "recaptcha" screening posesIt might repel bots as it's intent is claimed to be, but I'd wager it repels far more actual potential customers than it does bots***
