Ace Moving, Inc("ACE") failed to provide any evidence of a contract that entitled them to charge the rates that, according to ACE, were "properly" charged. In fact, ACE cannot produce any evidence of an agreement on the scope of work that ACE performed specifying the rates that ACE then charged. Usual business (and legal) practice is to (a) enter into an agreement that discloses the scope of work and the rates for the same and (b) amend the agreement in case of variations in (I) the scope of work and (II) the applicable rates. The only evidence (and disclosure) on rates and scope of work that is available and that has already been offered into evidence is the estimate for the moving that *** *** ** from ACE sent on August **, (the "Estimate"). The Estimate was the base on which the subsequent order for the service has been assigned to ACE. At the end of the service, ACE charged more than 50% of what was indicated in the Estimate, applying arbitrarily rates that were never been disclosed. ACE was requested in the prior correspondence to produce evidence that a different agreement (or at least disclosure) was entered into (or provided) to justify the applied-upon rates and costs by ACE. ACE failed to produce any such evidence. Consequently, ACE must reimburse any amounts that were charged without being agreed upon by the parties, in addition to any accrued interest thereto. In previous correspondence, such amounts have been indicated equal to approximately $500, plus interest.
It is hereby requested that the mediator will hear each party separately to determine the reasons of each party and schedule next steps in the mediation proceedingsIf the mediation proceedings will be unsuccessful, other legal remedy in a court of law or equity will be pursued. Best regards,*** ***

compensation until delivery is completed.in this industry there are so many obstacles that can delay the shipment...weather, mechanical issues....etc.the price for move was base on her volume and she agreed to the price prior to loading her shipment.customer can contact customer service once delivery is complete

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The reason I had to call so often was because the owner of the company along with its employees had no idea who the driver was nor were there able to give me a direct answerOn 8/*/2016, I was provided the number of the driver after asking for some type of information regarding my shipmentI dont understand how a moving conpany does not have accountability of their drivers nor can provide an update of the shipment statusWhen I spoke to the driver, Anthony, he informed me that the company never informed him of the strict timeframe that I requested prior to accepting the terms and conditions of the contractHe also corroborated with my story and informed me that the owner is very rude and the company is very disorganized stating "Once they get your money, they don't care what happens to your things"For the driver to say that, it is very clear this company is full of issuesAs for the screaming, the owner along with most of his employees do not know how to speak to their customers and I was actually verbally assaulted when I demanded to know where my shipment wasMind you this was after calling constantly since 8/*/with no actual straightforward answer and was told "it was my problem and that it would get there when it gets there"As for the "discount" at delivery, the contract I signed had a remaining balance of $due at delivery and at delivery, the driver said he'd have to charge me for long haul and I contested the charge because I was told that as long as there was an elevator, I would not pay extraThe driver contacted the company and came to an agreement in which the owner would pay $On top of that, my dining table and my headboard were damagedIt's very clear that I deserve a refund for the empty promises this company thrived on in order to scam me for my money, damage to my goods, intense emotional distress and all together horrific experience

First off Mary said if we pick up the furniture by Monday it will be there Friday . That's was a huge condition of me choosing this company. Secondly the price was $3500 that was estimated . All moving company say the same thing . We can't give you a price over the phone we need to see the furniture and do a count. Mary a 20+ year estimator was very off . Also once everything was loaded they said I had 2100 cubes of furniture. Meaning that my furniture took up that much space on there truck. . Well explain this to me . I rented a 26 ft Penske truck and if you google how many cubes that trucks has its 1700 cubes . They loaded my entire load from there truck so again off by 400 cubes . You may think it's nothing but 400 cubes times $3.25 a cube is $1300. They where going to scam me either way because there was no way for me to know exactly how many cubes I had . And the blankets being fair .. You have to be kidding me .. They cost $3-$5 each brand new . This company's scam  us at . They where so afraid I wasn't going to pay they locked the truck and wouldn't unload me into my truck rental until I paid. This company knows what they did was wrong . I am not asking for to much . I want a refund for $500 for the over charge of the packing materials and I am willing to pay $6 for each moving blanket so I want a refund of $854 . Total refund requested $1354. Mind you they are professional movers and packers and they loaded everything for us. I have a broken vanity that I have to fix and the estimate is $575. And one of my tall mirrors was also broken . My bed frame and chest have damage also. I don't want anything more than what's fair. There labor rate is way expensive but this is the scam . They come give you a low price then load you up and raise the price . This is horrible . Scammers

Revdex.com, We have the signed documentation for all of our moves. Basic liability Valuation is provided free of charge on all moves. Thank youAdditional information from the business:Revdex.com,First off on the final bill, you will see that the customer signed us in and out with his initials. He was charged for 6.5 hours and the $61.14 was the charge for the 7% fuel surcharge. The Valuation which is to the left is .30 per lb. He was only charged for the time he used, fuel surcharge and packing materials. These items were approved on the pickup date and there is no additional Information available. Lastly we have no knowledge of wall damage, our foreman did not report Any damages.The customer was charged properly and therefore no reduction is in order.Thank You..

 This company refuses to admit that it messed up this move. First I was never given the courtesy of them physically checking out the inventory to give a binding contract as they should by law, secondly the movers waited until everything was loaded to tell me how much more it actually would cost us, then they tell us there is a mandatory gratuity of 20%. That night they call me to say the guy made a 600$ miscalculation. I did not receive a refund later as they claim that amount was the same evening of our moving day. Then They say they don't have to keep their promises. We can transport your household goods anyway we want as long as they arrive? I hired this company because they had an A+ with the Revdex.com. This is my last response, do as you will because I'm tired.  If I hire a moving company to pick up my stuff, carry it to my house, unload it and place it in my new house, and they assure me, via email, contract, phone calls, that it will be done but they don't do it. Then they should return some of the amount that was paid for them to do the job I paid them for that they did not do. It's the honest and decent way to do business. But these people have been neither honest or decent. Beware if you hire them. Get a written binding estimate and make sure your contract includes every word they promise or don't sign.

At NO TIME was a prolonged delivery period discussed. How convenient for you that it suddenly exists now. When speaking with the foreman who set the delivery date we were told the [redacted]. If anyone had even hinted at a 10 day 'window' we would have put our delivery date far earlier and arranged someone to be there. Seriously, I hope you are proud of yourselves for the stress and financial inconveniences you are causing myself, my husband and my unborn baby. I did Not increase my items. I called and told Ron that we were not taking the king sized bed and instead were bringing a bike a small end table and a lamp. He told me that was fine, no change to the cost was necessary. How they can claim to not be in breach of contract when they did not bring our items as promised, a month after they were to be brought by movers we get a call no trucks are available and they have to send it via freight. I paid for a move in full. They did not complete the move, they sent our things heavily damaged on three pallets which were dumped in front of our apartment building. I'm disabled, my husband was at work. They did not do this move properly at all. I paid for movers to pick up my items, drive them to my new apartment and load them in the house reassembled as promised.

to b.b.bI would like to put an end to all his claims...this customer is bashing us all over the internet, even though we gave him a discount $400.00 upon delivery,which he never mentioned it.while we are threaten by the customer by legal law suit,we will not offer any reimbursement nor help in his situation any more.Even our claims department would not handle his case due to his dirty language and  unappropriated statements.therefore I suggest to close this case ASAP!!!!
