[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Kingkiner avoids mention of the contractual description of the services to be performed and of their admission that they had not performed according to the contractThey try to make it appear that I felt it was inappropriate,Avoiding the admission that it was a violation of the contractIn our meeting Kingkiner agreed to certain remedies The agreed upon repairs have not been made, despite Kingkiner's disingenuous assertion that they haveKingkiner's response does not address the fraudulent advertising Kingkiner is still usingKIngkiner's response does not address the unlicensed pruning or tree removal of Street Trees such as our Red Oak that Kingkiner continues to perform contrary to Philadelphia ordinances Regards, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com: I have reviewed Kingkiner's response to complaint ID [redacted] It contains significant errors of fact which I will address below However, a few days ago, after I submitted my complaint to the Revdex.com, Kingkiner finally took care of the problem that I had been trying to get them to deal with for seven months, i.e., since September I therefore consider the complaint resolved.Kingkiner's response states that "in early October 2015" I contacted them about two small trees they had missed That is not accurate; I first contacted MrElmer K [redacted] about the unfinished work on Sept He did not respond I contacted him again on Oct Contrary to Kingkiner's letter replying to my Revdex.com complaint, the problem was NOT dealt with "the following day." In fact, there was again no response whatsoever I contacted MrKingkiner once again on Jan16, No response I contacted him again on Jan27, threatening to register a formal complaint with the Revdex.com This time I got a response: MrKingkiner said he'd get to it within a week, but unfortunately that didn't happen I contacted him again on Feb18, informing him that I was registering my complaint with the Revdex.com He then took care of the problem within days.I have phone logs of our text messages for every one of these communications I wish it hadn't required a formal complaint to the Revdex.com to get Kingkiner to complete the work as per contract I understand that they accidentally overlooked the two small trees when they did the original job back in August We are all capable of mistakes like that It's the lack of responsiveness after that that I find unacceptable During the ensuing months, there were Kingkiner signs all around the neighborhood, where they were doing other jobs, and they could have followed up much more promptly and courteously than they did.As for the damaged street sign: the letter from Kingkiner is correct when it states that Lower Merion township is responsible for maintaining street signs If Kingkiner had told me that in September, instead of ignoring my many requests, I would have dropped that particular issue Let's hope that Lower Merion township has an easier time getting Kingkiner to pay for the costs of the repairing the street sign they broke than I did getting the tree removal job finished Respectfully, [redacted]

Kingkiner did a tree job across the street from my house and when they left my neighbor's job, they also left decent size chips of wood over my lawn, sidewalk and street without cleaning upI placed two calls into their office to clean up the mess and have not received a phone call or apology

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me - although Kingkiner's comments regarding failure to present coupon at time of estimate is incorrectSince salesman is currently out on medical leave, Kingkiner's comment about my failure to present coupon at time of estimate is incorrect on their partThe coupon was presented to salesman at time of estimate, followed by a phone call to him to ask why the coupon wasn't applied, then back to the office to relay the message from salesman to remind office to incorporate the discount into the final billWhy this has to be done by the customer, and not internally by employees of the company, I don't understand.Initial invoice mailed to us after work was completed did not include mentioned coupon and damages on property that occurred, as agreed uponFollowing phone calls, an email, and nearly weeks later after receiving the incorrect invoice (and still no response from Kingkiner) - we decided to file a complaint with Revdex.comWe will not be indirectly forced to pay an incorrect invoice (with late charges if invoice is not paid on time), just because Kingkiner is not responding back in a timely manner (net payment term days). After we got notice from Revdex.com that the complaint was submitted to Kingkiner, we got a phone call from the office manager to settle invoice dispute within hour after Revdex.com intervention , on Jun New invoice has been issued with correct amount, which we are satisfied and willing to pay.Written response from office manager regarding invalidity of this complaint on Jun 2015, is very very lateWe've already settled this dispute on Jun 2015, over the phoneThe office manager must have "forgotten." Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The contractor did not offer to resolve the issueHe flatly stated he won't honor his stump quote because I hired another contractor to cut the tree and paid $less. The written estimate from Kingkiner does not state that the price for grinding the stump is contingent upon cutting the tree; he clearly quoted two different prices for two different jobsThe contractor was fully aware that I was disappointed with his high tree quote and that I intended to get more estimatesHe never stated that if I get a lower quote I should call him back and see if he would match itIn his words he said it was "bad karma to shop around just to save lil' money." Apparently the contractor has no respect for other people's money and he treats it as though money fall from the trees.
His written estimate is available for review upon request

This is in response to complaint#***. *** was given a estimate to remove a tree and grind out the stump. The price for the removal of the stump was contingent upon Kingkiner Tree Service also doing the tree. *** hired another conpany to remove her tree,
when she called in for Kingkiner to grind out the stump she was told there would be a difference in pricing. *** was very nasty in her response to Kingkiner Tree Service about ther price difference

Dear Revdex.com:
I have reviewed Kingkiner's response to complaint ID [redacted].  It contains significant errors of fact which I will address below.  However, a few days ago, after I submitted my complaint to the Revdex.com, Kingkiner finally took care of the problem that I had been trying to get them to deal with for seven months, i.e., since September 2015.    I therefore consider the complaint resolved.Kingkiner's response states that "in early October 2015" I contacted them about two small trees they had missed.  That is not accurate; I first contacted Mr. Elmer K[redacted] about the unfinished work on Sept. 15.  He did not respond.  I contacted him again on Oct. 30.  Contrary to Kingkiner's letter replying to my Revdex.com complaint, the problem was NOT dealt with "the following day."  In fact, there was again no response whatsoever.  I contacted Mr. Kingkiner once again on Jan. 16, 2016.  No response.  I contacted him again on Jan. 27, threatening to register a formal complaint with the Revdex.com.   This time I got a response: Mr. Kingkiner said he'd get to it within a week, but unfortunately that didn't happen.  I contacted him again on Feb. 18, informing him that I was registering my complaint with the Revdex.com.   He then took care of the problem within days.I have phone logs of our text messages for every one of these communications.  I wish it hadn't required a formal complaint to the Revdex.com to get Kingkiner to complete the work as per contract.  I understand that they accidentally overlooked the two small trees when they did the original job back in August 2015.  We are all capable of mistakes like that.  It's the lack of responsiveness after that that I find unacceptable.  During the ensuing months, there were Kingkiner signs all around the neighborhood, where they were doing other jobs, and they could have followed up much more promptly and courteously than they did.As for the damaged street sign: the letter from Kingkiner is correct when it states that Lower Merion township is responsible for maintaining street signs.  If Kingkiner had told me that in September, instead of ignoring my many requests, I would have dropped that particular issue.  Let's hope that Lower Merion township has an easier time getting Kingkiner to pay for the costs of the repairing the street sign they broke than I did getting the tree removal job finished.

This company cut down a neighbors tree and left 12 large pieces on my property. They did not ask permission to place it there and have made no attempt to return and clean it up. I have had many trees taken down on my property over the years and have never had a company leave tree trunks on my property much less a neighbors. When we called the company they stated a crew "normally" comes out the next day. Totally unacceptable way to conduct business.

February 28, 2016Dear [redacted],Kingkiner Tree Service, LLC removed a large number of trees, bushes, and stumps on 8/12/2015 at [redacted]' property located at [redacted], Wynnewood PA [redacted]. While completing the job at [redacted] home, Kingkiner Tree Service was asked to remove an...

additional Maple tree in the rearyard as well as old wood he had on the property, which we happily did. On 8/28/2015, Kingkiner Tree Service invoiced [redacted] for the work that was completed on 8/12/2015 in the amount of $4,850. That same day [redacted] contacted our office and provided a credit card number with which to charge the balance of $4,850. At the time of his call [redacted] made no mention of any issues. In early October 2015, [redacted] contacted Elmer K[redacted] directly and notified him that Kingkiner Tree Service had missed two very small sapling trees, approximately 3 inches in diameter in the frontyard to the left of the driveway. The following day Kingkiner Tree Service sent a crew back out to [redacted] property to remove the two sapling trees in the hopes of rectifying this accidental oversight. Until receipt of this complaint we were unaware of any lingering issue between Kingkiner Tree Service and [redacted].In addition to the above, while work was being performed at [redacted] home a piece of our equipment knocked over a street sign at the corner of [redacted]. [redacted] notified the Kingkiner Tree Service office of this fact in addition to our crew reporting the same incident. At that time, Kingkiner Tree Service contacted the Lower Merion Township to determine what needed to be done with respect to the street sign. In speaking with Angela at the Lower Merion Township Public Works Department she advised that there were several down street signs and there was currently a dispute as to whether the Township was going to order new signs or repair the original "old-style" signs. She was hopeful to have the new signs ordered and replaced within the next few months. Either way, the Township would be handing the street signs and it was not necessary for Kingkiner Tree Service to be involved any further. Therefore, the street sign will be replaced once it becomes available by the Lower Merion Township and not Kingkiner Tree Service as noted. Please know that we value our Customers greatly and always want to be sure they are happy with our work. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.Best Regards,Christina P. Office Manager

To Whom It May Concern:
I apologize for late response.  This complaint is not valid.  Kingkiner tree service did honor the coupon although it was not presented at the time of estimate and submitted to office.  We, Kingkiner Tree Service honored the coupon based on a verbal agreement that the customer and sales rep, Mike A[redacted] allegedly had.  Mike A[redacted] has been out on family medical leave and we, Kingkiner Tree Service, entrusted our customer's word.  The office was not aware of the verbal agreement until [redacted] called and told us.  With that we gave her the 10 percent off.  The tree crew that did the work on her property also knocked on her door to show her that we, Kingkiner tree service damaged her fruit trees while dragging the brush through.  It was not intentional or careless it was a small space that we were hauling large branches and debris through and we did damage these small trees.  Our company admitted to the damage and we, Kingkiner tree service gave the customer a credit for the value of the trees.  I am not sure why she filed a complaint because I personally spoke to her and she was very happy and satisfied during our conversation.  Customer satisfaction is extremely important to our company.  I have attached a copy of the customer's unpaid invoice.  If there are any other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call me.
Best,
Christina P[redacted]
