We had to reschedule the appointment based upon other customers needs with having customers without AC in extreme heatI was personally not informed on the severity of their needs for service until the second attempt at them having to be rescheduled because of a newly hired receptionist in our officeI made an attempt to contact the customer on Friday the 10th to let them know I could perform the service either that day or the nextWe left a message but had no return call about itWe are very sorry for the issue and would gladly perform the service at no charge for the inconvenience

*** *** I never received any written estimates from KleenRite to replace my furnace and or furnace and air conditionerI contacted HVAC companies for estimates because I was without a furnace for days. I had to replace the furnace due to I could not run the heaters in all the rooms at the same time due to the circuit breaker flipping offI had a new furnace installed, and expect KleenRite to reimburse me for $3692.00, $from *** service call on 11/20/15, and the wood in the basement to be replaced/ and or repaired. The dryer vent was unclogged by Eddie on about the 3rd visit to my house, so there is no longer a need to clean the dryer vent. I disputed the charges for the original vent cleaning, which KleenRite claims they reimbursed me this amount. Please see the following attachments for the *** bill, and the cost of the furnace and air conditioner from *** ***.Sincerely,*** ***

If an effort to review the facts and events involved in this
situation of the old furnace, I offer the
following:
A Kleenrite technician came to your home to perform
requested services on November 2, 2015, those services
were
completedIt is our understanding that the technician never
tested
the system to confirm that it was operational before he
started the
requested work at that time
You contacted Kleenrite 11-5-15, we had someone there on the
7th
A preliminary diagnosis madeThe parts needed were ordered
and
replacedUnfortunately after Kleenrite spending over $in
parts
and labor, all attempts failed.They even had an outside
company to
attempt repair the furnaceIt was a mystery to them as
well
After much frustration for both you and Kleenrite, an
alternative
approached was offered by Kleenrite
An offer was made to you, for the replacement of a new furnace
only
The price quoted was $This figure was at our cost. After
all credits applied, your out of pocket expense would have
been around $The name brands mentioned were Payne,
Carrier, and BryantYou felt you should not have to pay anything and was very
upsetIt was then explained that your furnace was about
years old and was at its end of life cycle anywayYou wanted to think about
it. During a phone conversation later you mentioned that
you had gotten some quotes that included a new air conditioner alsoAt that
time Kleenrite offered you a new complete system for $
with your out of pocket cost of only $Somewhere in the
conversation you
made a passing question of warranty and to pass a quote in
writing
It was stated that standard warranty's would apply and the
info
could be seen on the Internet
A few days later our Customer Service Rep called to check
status
of your decision, at that time you wanted to break off any
further
communications in this matterTherefore there was no reason
to
provide a formal quote from that point onAre you saying
this was the only compelling reason to buy the most
expensive AC/Furnace unit in the market place at a cost of $8104.00 and
expect us to pay for it? Even though we've done everything
possible to correct the situation and to also offer a new
furnace for only $200. It makes no sense to spend 4 times as much
Kleenrite has proven its intent many times during
this time to resolve the situation, everything from
repairing/replacing with new parts, to offering you
auxiliary heaters to keep you warm, offering hotel
accommodations, and providing a new furnace at hardly no cost
and
in addition you were offered a new complete HVAC at
cost
Kleenrite's spirit of help,caring and sense of responsibility
has been demonstrated from the beginning to the endWhen
considering
an overall view of the facts, you have stripped Kleenrite of
its ability
to resolve your issues regarding the furnaceTherefore,
Kleenrite's
position is that it owes you nothing more, other than
the wood damage will be repaired,if we damaged it and the
service fee from ***

furnace be fixed. If this interpretation is correct we will

company get in touch with you ASAP to correct the
situation.
 
As for the original monies you paid for air duct services, it
also appears
according to you, that you have canceled the charge.  We were
going
to send you a refund, if not already done.
 
Be assured that Kleenrite wants to do the right thing
regarding this
matter. Let us know when someone can return and fix your

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]the technician told my husband that is was a bait and switch and that's a technique they use to get more money out of people. He NEVER told me the extra amount up front - instead he cleaned the vents then refused to clear them, stating that unless I paid him to clear both, that debris would blow out from the vents next time I turned on the AC. We had NO CHOICE but to pay the extra so our house wouldn't be covered in the stuff he was supposed to clean and clear from the vents. Again, he never told me about extra charges until AFTER he'd already cleared the vents. He didn't not ask my permission or explain any additional charges until he left me with no choice. the gift card was sitting my on dining room table in plain sight. He sat at this table to complete paperwork while I was at my desk with my back turned completing the check. One of the vents is right next to the table so he was in that area quite a bit while I was with my son in the next room with my back turned.this business is a scam and absolutely ridiculous. I was scammed for much more money than I agreed to originally without being made aware of any charges until it was too late. I am in no way satisfied with the company's response as I don't appreciate being taken advantage of and stolen from. I will file a police report if necessary.
