Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I want to see my truck done before accepting this response just because I was given run around, once my truck is finished and I pick it up at chevy, I will whole heartedly accept what Honda has done to fix the heartache and frustration I have gone throughI have not had my truck since Nov 3rd, that is a very long timeonce chevy completes the work on my truck, I can say Honda cared, and fixed this problemsincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I purchased my car months agoIt has been in THEIR possession for half of that timeThe first was to repair a broken seat that took weeksThe second time to replace the tire that popped months after the put it on my carThe 3rd time I went in there to demand they make it safe for me to drive by repairing the brakes master cylinder, turn signals and windows It has become ridiculous that these people think those words "AS IS" gives them a license to steal from meI was in a rear end accident on May because the brakes THEY said they "bled" and were "OK" failed me and I ran into the rear end of another carIt could have been SO MUCH WORSE had I been driving at a high speedAs it was, I was down town going when I saw a car turning into a parking spaceI put on my brakes to slow down and perhaps stop and my foot went right to the floorTHEY DIDN'T BLEED ALL THE AIR OUT OF MY BRAKE SYSTEM THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO REPLACE AND I HIT ANOTHER CARI do NOT know how these people can sleep at night knowing the condition of this nightmare car they sold meI am speaking with an Attorney and I am probably doing to sue them and WINThey did EVERYTHING wrong and I did everything right..meaning I trusted a reputable Honda dealership to sell me a safe used carAS IS is their only excuse and it isn't strong enoughNO brakes, NO signals, NO functioning power seat and a broken driver side window to hand signal with because my turn signal was broken ON top of all that, I turned my car over to them on March 6, and NEVER HEARD ONE WORD FROM THEM FOR MONTHS AND WEEKI drove in there on Mother's day, May 8th and walked up to Andy D [redacted] who was shocked to see meHe had NO idea I had never been called or talked to about my missing carHe had that 'deer in the head light' lookHe called a service dude and I was told, 'Someone will call you on Monday." NO one called on Monday or Tuesday or WednesdayI got a call on Thursday May and was told to get my carThey had completed what little work they did (fixed the turn signal) on it several weeks ago but just left it in the parking lot to get mold and moss in all the creases and crevices that were once spotless THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICEThis is NOT how you treat a customer spending thousands of dollarsYes I accepted an "AS IS" car because in my years of driving a Honda I have NEVER HAD SO MANY PROBLEMSThey are going to be very sorry they didn't work with me when I win in court and they have to provide me with a brand new carAll I ever asked them was to please let me get a different, safe car and when I got there to pick mine up, they actually had the nerve to try and sell me a brand new car, asking for thousand of dollars down and times the car payment Please find attached all the repair documents along with the accident report and the infraction I was issued for 'following too close"I wasn't 'following" anyoneI turned onto a street, the car ahead of me was turning into a parking space and I tried to slow down and failedAll I have ever asked for was for them to treat me as any human being should be treatedThey sold me a car that they had NOT checked out before putting it up for saleThey even told me it had 'just gotten here today"I drove home in that car the next dayNOTHING could have been done on it in that short amount of timeI have been ripped off, disrespected and lied to and someone has to know about this Klein Honda has No morals, no scruples and no customer service skillsI ran a business all my life and if one of my customers had been so mislead and mistreated it would have been second nature to MAKE IT RIGHT Sincerely, [redacted] ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com***

Ms [redacted] negotiated to purchase the Audi before the reconditioning was complete.Klein Honda spent weeks completing the process due to waiting on German parts for the Audi It was eventually completed at University Audi The vehicle was delivered after passingall safety inspections The customer purchased a year old Audi with over 130,miles,as is The inspection report, completed more than two months after delivery,consists of future maintenance needs, non-safety items or conditions that were not present atthe time of delivery Klein Honda sells many high mileage, pre-owned vehicles, becausewe have customers that request them However, being older and with high mileage, thereis no guarantee that future work will not be necessary At this time Klein Honda is not willing to participate in any service needs

I’m very sorry for the delay and I apologize for themiscommunication in this whole matter Iagree and will be happy to reimburse Mrs [redacted] for her out of pocket expenseto replace the windshield If I couldget a copy of the receipt sent to me directly I will make sure and get a reimbursementcheckThank YouRyan H***

Klein Honda is aware of Mr [redacted] concerns and have forwarded those concerns on to American Honda We have reached out to American Honda to have the District Parts and Service Manager of American Honda to investigate Mr [redacted] concerns Klein Honda is working with Mr [redacted] and American Honda for a resolution, however it is American Honda and not Klein Honda's decision to determine if an issue exists We will continue to work with Mr [redacted] and American Honda for a resolution

As soon as we became aware that the refund was not processed, we cancelled it and issued the refund Due to the delay in receiving it via regular mail, we cancelled the check and hand delivered the refund to Mrs [redacted] at her home, April 28th

We do not agree with the description or timing of events in this complaint.The extent of repairs consisted of waiting on a part, one that eventually came from Germany.We delivered a safe vehicle The concerns described in the complaint came to our attention twoto three months after delivery of the vehicle, which was sold as is.As a gesture of goodwill, Klein Honda would be willing to pay [redacted] directly for the repair of the emergency brakeand airbag system, as indicated on the invoice dated 8/24/

Klein Honda agreed to perform the repairs that MrsSalas requested which included upgrading the engine that was damagedMrsSalas requested and Klein Honda agreed to have all work performed on the vehicle at the Chevrolet dealershipMrsSalas was provided a loaner vehicle during and after the repair for transportation by Klein HondaMrsSalas claims that the vehicle had all original parts making it a classic vehicleKlein Honda was informed by Chevrolet that the engine that was damaged is not the original engine for her vehicleMrsSalas has stated that after she picked her vehicle up she drove it to a different Chevy Dealership, where MrsSalas claims she was offered $less then what MrsSalas claims was offered years agoMrsSalas is now reporting Klein Honda demanding a $checkKlein Honda has complied with all requests and has done everything to correct the damage caused to her vehicle and even upgraded components at her requestKlein Honda agreed to have all work performed at the Chevy dealership at her requestKlein Honda provided a loaner vehicle for transportation during the repairs and for over a month after the repairs had already been completedIt is the feeling of Klein Honda that we have gone above and beyond to correct the damage caused to her vehicleKlein Honda will take no further action and consider this matter closed. Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Klein Honda states that I negotiated purchase before reconditioning but it can also be said that Klein Honda negotiated a deal before realizing the extent of repairs needed on a vehicle they took for trade in. I can imagine it was just as frustrating for Klein Honda to realize they paid full loan value for a car with multiple problems. While I was hesitant to finalize the deal after weeks of repairs being made by eventually two separate repair shops, Klein was insistent they had made ALL repairs to the vehicle that were needed. I could have walked away at any time but took Klein's word they had made the vehicle completely ready. It's incredibly disappointing they are taking this stance. I can imagine the loss that Klein took on this vehicle, but that is not the consumer's fault when the auto dealership takes trade ins. They can make sure the vehicle is road ready at delivery and the warranty is not intended to protect the dealership's liability if there is a major safety concern involved. The AG of WA State has confirmed that.The rear emergency brake problem was directly related to Klein Honda replacing the rear brake pads last minute before delivery. The service manager admitted they had just recently changed over to the brake repair system that Audi used and that they were having trouble getting the emergency brake to release using the system required of them. While they believed it had released, it did not, and within hours of delivery the emergency brake error light came on because the last minute brake pad replacement had damaged the rear emergency brake system. This needed to be repaired and Klein Honda should reimburse me for that cost. Also, a safety checklist that may have been filled out by Klein Honda before delivery does not mean that error lights had not been reset, which would explain why the lights came on within a few hours to a few days after delivery once the cars computer caught up with the reset. An airbag system doesn't just fail by itself within hours of delivery. If anything, the emergency brake repair and airbag system repair should be reimbursed by the dealership. This is a safety issue regardless of Klein Honda's insistence that it has to do with my use of the vehicle, which has been sparingly due to the errors. I made my best effort to figure out these issues myself and I know for a fact, as I have purchased many cars before, that Klein should be responsible for it's product regardless of the loss it incurred by taking a trade and negotiating a deal before knowing how much money they were going to lose on it.Sincerely,*** ***

Mrs*** purchased a vehicle from Klein Honda on February 22nd, 2016. The vehicle Mrs*** bought was a Honda Odyssey with 114,miles. When Mrs*** purchased the vehicle, she was well aware that the vehicle was “AS IS” and had no warranty. Mrs*** signed over separate forms all of which outlined the fact that the vehicle she is purchasing is being sold “AS IS”. Mrs***’s concerns with the vehicle are not considered to be uncommon for an 11-year-old vehicle. After reviewing all documents throughout Mrs***s transactions with Klein Honda, and only as a “CUSTOMER GOODWILL” and agreed on by Mrs***, Klein Honda will offer Mrs*** $(one thousand dollars). The $(one thousand dollars) is only for “CUSTOMER GOODWILL” and is not in any way an admission of wrong doing or fault by Klein Honda. Mrs*** would also have to agree to 1. Not do any future business with Klein Honda 2. Sign a confidentiality agreement 3. Stop all communication with any outside party regarding this matter or past matters with Klein Honda If Mrs*** does not agree to the above terms Klein Honda will consider this matter closed and no further action will be taken
