As a dog trainer I am always looking for products to refer customers to! We get everything from service dogs to aggression cases and I love a great durable leash and that is exactly what Kona Leashes are! Durable! They also come with a lifetime warranty which is crazy awesome!! Shipping was fast and I'm in love with my new leash!
Amazing leash for our active collie/aussie. Only downfall is time it takes to put on/take off a hyper dog.

My boyfriend and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the KONA leash we recently bought for our dog. She is leash reactive when it comes to being around other dogs that she can't go up and say hi to right away, so it's important that we have a leash that we trust won't break while she's having her moment.
Charged for items not received.
I recently purchased a leash and two comfort grips from Kona Leashes. The site dow not state (nor do the photos show) that grips can only be added on to new purchases. I planned on using the second grip on a leash I purchased a few weeks ago. I was charged for two grips, and only received one. Additionally, I'd like to return the leash/grip I received since I accidentally ordered the wrong size (my fault). Two emails to the company have gone unresolved.
I would like a refund for the grip I did not receive, and would like the company to process my return (or exchange) for the other leash.
I would like to withdraw my complaint, please.

I love the leash I purchased from Konaleashes. It is lightweight and high quality for my large breed puppy. I also purchased the add-on comfort grip which helps way more than I expected it to for my pulling pup. As someone who rock climbs as a hobby, I appreciate the durability of a climbing rope leash for my dog. I also appreciate how this company pays it forward to animal shelters.
KONA leashes ships products that do not match the offering on their website, then charge a restocking fee of 50% on returns
The company scams users by advertising a certain color/quality product on their website and then ships them an inferior product. When you try and return the product, they make it very difficult and charge you a 50% restocking fee. I have attached pictures of what I ordered and what I received, they do not match. In a typical ethical business situation the company would accept the return fee of charge and include return shipping. This company intends to stick you with the product, or charge you 50% to return it so they can still profit and sell it again to someone else. This is FRAUD.
On a $69 purchase I was refunded $32 and paid $9 for return shipping. The company should refund 100% of the purchase price as the item shipped was clearly not the item ordered.
KONAleashes manufacturers all leashes in house and we only use 1 type of rope in our leashes. The customer was confused by the handmade nature of the products. A refund was processed immediately and accurately based on our return policy. A restocking fee was charged as the individual ordered a custom product. In addition, the customer agreed to all terms before he sent back the item.
Super cute while also being really strong. The short length keeps my labs safe and where he knows he should be. I love this leash!
