Lightweight but strong leash! Love the patterns and the purpose of the company!
I absolutely LOVE KONA Leashes! I love how light the leash is and the fact that there are no sharp edges like regular leashes. Having the carabiner at the end gives it that extra little touch that helps to make the leash unique. It also feels a lot more durable than a regular leash! We can't wait for the rain to go away, so we can get more happy pictures of us using the leash. Oakley doesn't care for weather, so if it's not 75 degrees and partly sunny, she pouts during the entire walk. Haha. We were so honored to be selected by the brand to be a brand ambassador. It really has helped my dog and me to build a stronger relationship. I can't wait to see Kona Leashes continue growing!
I love KONA Leashes! My dog loves it, she gets excited every time she sees it. Not only is it very durable and I can see it lasting for a while, it is also so stylish! The best part is that every rope leash that is bought Kona donates 1lb of dog food to animal shelters, that makes every dollar worth it!
underwhelmed with the collars. They seemed thin and flimsy and pulled so much when on a walk. puppy chewed collar off in the middle of the night
Sent on 4/20/20: We ordered two collars and two leashes for our dogs. When they arrived we were very impressed with the leashes and we really like them, however, we were underwhelmed with the collars. They seemed thin and flimsy and pulled so much when on a walk. Then our puppy chewed the collar right off of himself in his kennel the 3rd night. What do we need to do for a refund on the collar? We do not want a new one given how flimsy they were. We really wanted to love the products, but the collars were just not great quality.

Thanks for following up and we are so glad to hear you love the leashes. On that note, we are sorry to hear you did not love the collars.
Unfortunately, chewing and biting voids any/all warranty or returns on products. Furthermore, I was able to take a look and your recent order, it was placed with a code from our seasonal sale (which also included a free gift). When these products are offered through our seasonal sale we discount them so heavily - we have a final sale policy when these codes are used. I will attach some links for you to look at:
5/7/20: Response back: Well that is extremely disappointing that you are not willing to credit for the collar. I was very disappointed in the quality of this product. I can't even walk my other dog with this remaining collar because it's already so stretched out and thin. I keep having to tighten it. And the fact that my other dog chewed through it was due to it being stretched and so thin that he got through it. Very low quality. Also, there was no free gift! It was just the code name. Nothing came except for the leashes and collars. My puppy was even chosen for you model advertising program, but needless to say I refuse to promote a company that has poor customer service and a poor product.
We will not be ordering from you again and I will put the word out there that I would not put my money in this company. Very poor service!
As of 5/15/20 I have not received any more communication. I understand that they have this policy and if my dog had been chewing on something that wasn't supposed to keep him safe and just laying around I would understand. However, these collars were so poorly made that he was able to loosen it get it off and chew through it overnight. I just want my measly $15 back that I spent on this sub par item.
I would say that I want my money back for both collars approx 30 dollars, but I would accept just the 15 for the one that was ruined. I don't think that's too much to ask. I understand the policy, but I still think this shouldn't have happened on day 3 of having the product.
Thank you for following up. We understand their concern; however, the owner contacted us for a return only after the dog chewed on and destroyed the collar. Once an item has chewed, bitten, and destroyed by a dog - we are unable to issue a refund.
Bought leash on 1/7/2020. Received it on 1/16/2020. Emailed KonaLeashes on 1/20/2020 to request refund. Kona told me to keep it beyond return date.
I bought a dog leash from Kona Leashes on 1/7/20. I paid $59.99 for the leash and received it on 1/16/20. The leash was horrible quality(see pictures) very thin and not worth $59.99. I contacted the company to request a refund and to tell them how poor the quality was and they encouraged me to keep trying the leash out and refused to refund me. They encouraged me to keep the leash beyond the day that I could return it which was 30 days from the purchase. I wasn't aware of the return policy and since they refused my refund on 1/20/20, I have not been able to reach anyone at Kona Leashes. They have refused to respond to any emails since then. The quality of this product is horrible and will not withstand the pull of my 2 50lb dogs. They also do not have a phone number listed on their website so the only way to communicate with them is via email. Very poor customer service, poor business practices, and poor quality product for really high prices.
I am seeking a full refund of $59.99 minus shipping charges back to the company. I contacted them within the correct time frame to receive a refund and they refused to return the item.

I was encouraged to keep the item past the day they would accept a return. This is unacceptable and poor business practices. I also reached out to them after that email stating I wanted to return the item and they never responded.

They responded with the same message they did before. They are not even attempting to rectify the situation just stating they'll make there website more clear in the future. THIS IS NOT A RESOLUTION

A few weeks - months of trying the product and we did not hear back from this customer. Due to the absence of communication - we assumed the customer had changed their mind and wanted to keep their product. The customer then reach out several weeks - months later to inquire about a refund. At this time, the customer has had the product(s) in their possession and actively used the product(s) for several months.
I am very pleased with my Kona leashes! Very sturdy, lightweight and great colors/designs! Also, they were delivered promptly. Will definitely purchase more.

Constructed very well and we feel the toughness of the leash when our baby pulls without the leash feeling compromised. The carabiner helps and adds a nice rugged outdoors look and feel as well.

I love the Kona leash. Its quality is sturdy enough that even if my dog chews on it, it doesnt get damaged. I also love that it is only 5 feet unlike typical 6 foot leashes, so I can keep my pupper closer to me.
Extremely high quality leash. I have a 4-year-old husky named Omega and the bright orange color of the leash I ordered really pops against his white coat. The leash length is great, 5ft is perfect for daily walks.
