Review: The attached letter I have sent to my credit card company and am activily disputing. The resolution from my perspective is to refund my money and for the complaint to be a matter of record- I found the staff here to be dishonest and intimidating.

Dear [redacted]; thank you for leading the dispute process with Koon's Chrysler of Tyson corner. I think this was without a doubt the worse customer experience I have ever had in my entire life. It started with a poor customer service advisor and a supervisor being disrespectful when I brought my wife's car in for service. The advisor was so out of line the GM needed to get involved and offer a $100 credit as an apology for his staff. Unfortunately, they refused to take it off the repair to ensure I returned to the dealership.

Low and behold I had to return (following my vacation) when the brakes were squeaking at very loud and frequent rate. They supposedly made some adjustments and the agreed squeaking was supposedly corrected. At this time, I had a long discussion with the advisor about the squeaking and that it was abnormal and they would work to correct, even if it required new pads and or rotors.

I then went on a business trip and upon return my wife informed me the squeaking was just a bad as before. I once again returned the car to the dealership. They again had my car for an entire day. However, this time they said the squeaking was normal and due to the industry changing the specs on pads, excluding asbestos, all brake pads now squeak. I said when I pull into a stop light the only squeaking is from my car and mac trucks. He then said, we are happy for you to keep bringing the car in and we look at it. I said I am fine to leave the car but this is the third time you've had it and each time I need to drop off, take a shuttle to work and then repeat to pick the car up, The time invested is approximately 4 hours per time. I said, if they were willing to offer a loaner car I would leave the car for as long as they felt they needed to identify and correct the problem.

The advisor refused to offer a rental car and said, they again felt the squeaking was normal. I reiterated that the old brakes did not squeak and my expectations were the new brakes should not squeak either.

At this point, I informed the advisor; I would dispute the charge and look for another merchant to properly repair the brakes. He then refused to release the car and threatened to keep the car until the charge was out of the time I could dispute it. After dialog with his supervisor and understanding my consumer rights he reluctantly gave me the keys to my car.

At this time I am looking to resolve this issue, repair my brakes adequately from another merchant and file a formal complaint with the Revdex.com.

Again, I appreciate your support in assisting a frustrated consumer and needless to say I will no longer do business with Koon's.Desired Settlement: Refund my money to repair my brakes adequately from another merchant (see Attached document).

We have been in touch with **. [redacted] and made arrangements for him to bring his vehicle into our shop and we will replace the parts with OEM parts which we believe will correct his complaint.
