I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,
[redacted]

We have attached a response letter and copies of Ms. [redacted]'s agreement and client obligation form for your review. Please let us know if you need additional information.Thank you,Ohio SinglesWe are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s complaint and will address her situation. We would first like to mention...

that we have only matched Ms. [redacted] with gentlemen who showed to be most mutually compatible with her, according to their profile information. Ms. [redacted]’s first match is a very busy businessman, therefore, it appears he was having difficulty committing to a date. However, we can understand Ms. [redacted]’s frustration, as we also wanted them to meet for a date. Ms. [redacted]’s second match showed to be compatible with her, but Ms. [redacted] felt there were various differences between them. On the other hand, they also shared many commonalities as well. We do respect Ms. [redacted]’s feelings and continued the search for a new match. We tried reaching out to Ms. [redacted] when receiving her feedback for her second match. She responded and stated that she felt there was nothing to talk about. Please note that Ms. [redacted] signed a client obligation form when she joined our services which states that she agrees to contact us directly if she has any concerns regarding her program. She agrees to talk with someone in Client Services. If she is unable to reach a resolution with our Client Services staff, she then agrees to speak with a senior member of our Client Resolution team. Ms. [redacted] has agreed to all the above prior to contacting any third-party agency, which includes contacting the Revdex.com. The client obligation form also states that dating is a numbers game and that our clients will not necessarily like everyone they meet. The client also agrees, per this form, that we will match them with compatible individuals while keeping preferences in mind. We always try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for in a partner. We also want to give them every possible opportunity to find someone. Also, Ms. [redacted] received a copy of our Regulations upon joining (and she agreed to having reviewed these Regulations in her signed agreement under paragraph #2). The Regulations states under the Referrals section:"Compatibility is very subjective and that we will send you referrals we deem, in our sole and absolute discretion as ‘likely most mutually compatible’ as indicated in your singles data. The final determination to meet a referral is yours and yours alone. You understand and agree that we will supply you referrals on an as available basis. Because we try to send compatible referrals, you understand and agree that there is no way for us to predict the frequency and time frame of each referral. However, we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis, but we will only match you with others that we feel you are compatible with. YOU FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT NO TWO PEOPLE ARE GENERALLY PERFECTLY COMPATIBLE AND AGREE THAT WE WILL USE OUR BEST JUDGMENT IN PROVIDING REFERRALS THAT MOST NEARLY MATCH YOUR REQUIREMENTS."We never know how truly compatible two people are until they meet one another and interact. We always hope for the best with each and every match we put together. If our clients meet and have chemistry, great! If not, we continue the search. This is why we offer packages of multiple referrals to our clients. We explain to our clients when they join that we will search for compatible matches for them through our existing client database AND we will also recruit new people on a regular basis. This helps us to expand the pool for our match search, so our clients have more of an opportunity to meet someone special.

Dear [redacted],Per your request, we have attached a copy of Ms. [redacted]'s signed agreement. Please note that we do not have documentation regarding details of the resale option. This is verbally explained during the interview process. Please let us know if you require additional information.Thank you,Ohio Singles

[redacted],These people at [redacted] are flat out lying to you. They matched me with 2 women, both of which I complained to them personally( [redacted] and [redacted]) that these women were either over weight or filthy in their personal hygene. The third match called [redacted] and told them not to have me call her.I was told by [redacted],that I would be compensated for 2 of the 3 matches. This company has breeched it's contract and I would like a refund on a pro rated basis for 2 matches not fulfilled.I have met someone and their service is no longer required.Thankyou,[redacted]

[redacted]To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s additional rejection to our response.Ms. [redacted]’s Relationship Specialist, who signed her up for our services (and interviewed Ms. [redacted]), called and spoke with Ms. [redacted] yesterday, 1/30. At first when they spoke, Ms. [redacted] mentioned that she is upset that the matchmakers have not sent her any matches. She then stated that she has met someone on her own and has been in a relationship with someone outside the service since just before Christmas, so she does not need our services. Therefore, she wants her money back. The Relationship Specialist stated that she explained our program to Ms. [redacted] (and all other potential clients) in a standard manner and that people have not misunderstood the resale/transfer option in the past. Ms. [redacted] said she felt the conversation was going nowhere if she was not getting a refund. In the end, she said that she is going to continue her complaint with the Revdex.com, because she "doesn't need it and she wants her money back". We have explained the situation in our two previous responses. In addition, we explained what the resale/transfer option entails and we also explained that the agreement which Ms. [redacted] signed clearly states that she will not be eligible for a refund after her 3-day right of rescission. As we previously stated, we would like nothing more than to continue working with Ms. [redacted] if her new relationship does not work out, or we would be happy to transfer it to a qualified friend or family member.Thank you again for your time.

Regards,
[redacted]They give you 3 years to set you up with people, didn't know it was non-refundable. They gave me some paperwork. It's been almost a year but haven't done anything yet. The girl that I am seeing if I get married, I have given them money for nothing.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. In response to this matter, is like to address several points in Ohio Singles response:1. The materials provided do not guarantee a match, but do indicate it may take 0-8 weeks to receive the first match. I have received 0 matches in over 12 weeks. 2. In my interview, I asked questions about the sell back option and it was never explained that I could only sell to other singles. In fact, the answers I received made me believe I could sell them back to the company because I asked a question on if the amount would be pro-rated based on the numbers of referrals I used. I feel I was deliberately misled on this feature so that I would sign up for this very expensive service. 3. I have been in contact with the company and have been told there is nothing they can do for me. I have asked for this to be escalated and was told we can escalate, but they will tell you the same thing. I feel I have no other option than to contact the  Revdex.com since the company is clearly not willing to work with me. I am not interested in placing my account on hold or selling my referrals to others because I feel this company is fraudulent and a scam. I would like a full refund for the services I paid for and have not received.

Please see our attached response to the complaint regarding [redacted].Kindest Regards,Ohio SinglesDate: 3/15/17Re: [redacted]Case #: [redacted]To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of [redacted]’s complaint and will address his claims. We were working for [redacted] in search of someone special...

and he informed us he has been seeing someone outsideof the services for the last few months. Soon after we provided his first match, it appears he met someone. When weattempted to match him with a second lady, he informed us he was dating a woman, so we had to cancel the match.Yes, [redacted] has requested to receive a refund. However, the agreement which [redacted] signed states that arefund is only possible within the client’s 3-day right to rescind, pursuant to the Ohio Statute Section 1345.43.Therefore, we explained to [redacted] that we would be happy to keep his account on hold while he pursues thisrelationship. If things do not end up working out, he can reactivate his account and resume the services. We have included a copy of [redacted]’s signed agreement. We have also included a copy of the signed client obligationform for [redacted] which states that he agrees to handle any disputes he may have directly with our staff prior tocontacting a third-party agency. We would like to speak with him directly regarding this matter. We only wish the best for [redacted]. As we stated, he will not be eligible for a refund at this point in time, but we arehappy to keep his program on hold for the time being. We will be here.Thank you,Ohio Singles

Regards,
[redacted] Dear Revdex.com:I was not anticipating that Ohio Singles would admit that they were not in compliance with our Agreement.  While I understand (we all do) that they are not going to find anyone that is a 100% match with my preferences, I was anticipating differences of the nature: food preferences, hobbies, favorite types of movies, favorite sports. I don't believe it is reasonable that they use their discretion and go outside my height and age preferences when making selections. Ohio Singles charges a lot for their services.  It is not unreasonable for their clients to expect a level of service and satisfaction on par with the cost of their service. If they were charging their clients the same amount as the on-line matching services, I would not have submitted my complaint.  You will see from this quote from their response, that they acknowledge they did choose a referral ('Suzie') that was outside of my stated height and age preference range."In these Regulations, there is an important paragraph titled, “Referrals”. It is explained that we are matching our clients with those who are likely most mutually compatible and we use our best judgment when providing referrals. We try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for. We explain to our clients that we use their preferences as a guideline for matching, but not all criteria will match 100% of the stated preferences. If we find a match for someone, but they are 1 year older or 2 inches shorter, we will still present the match to the client, as we want to give them every possible opportunity to find someone special."While I realize that they have invested some effort in finding referrals for me, I believe that at the very least, a partial reimbersement is reasonable. This response from Ohio Singles is not a reasonable resolution to my complaint.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Ohio Singles states that the resell option was explained during my interview, however this is not the case. In fact, as I have stated before, the answers I received to my questions on the resell option made me believe I was able to resell to Ohio Singles. Specifically, I asked how the price of the resell option would work if I used some of my referrals and asked if it was pro-rated based on the number I used. [redacted], the interviewer, stated that yes they would be pro-rated. I also asked if my "extra referral" would be eligible for the resell and she said no. My contract does not specify that I can only resell to other singles and I believe Ohio Singles has been purposefully vague on this matter. They deliberately misled me on this option so that I would sign up for this service. I have not spoken to any from Ohio Singles since January 13. I asked that my complaint be escalated and that I wanted to speak with the next level manager to help resolve my issue. I was told that I would not receive a different answer from anyone else. I still asked for my complaint to be escalated. They stated in their return letter that someone would contact me and I waited several days before sending my response back to the Revdex.com in order to give them time to contact me but have not heard anything. I still feel that I should receive a full refund on this service since my contract states I can resell my referrals. The contract does not state that I can only resell to other singles.

I paid for a premium service and only reason for me to go with them was because they made me believe they can meet my criteria needs and I wish they had been upfront and complete reality picture on the compromises I will have to make every time I meet someone. Compromising was not mentioned when they tried selling me on this. On top of it comparing two people is not a very good idea while trying to convince me on their services they are providing. Basically the way I see it, they are asking me to settle. In an analogy, if someone wants a Ferrari, they can never settle for a Porsche. They did call me during normal work hours and left me a message, but I have also returned their calls but been unable to chat as yet.

Please see our attached response regarding the complaint for Ms. [redacted].Kindest Regards,Ohio SinglesDate: 3/15/17Re: [redacted]Case #: [redacted]To Whom It May Concern,We previously received a negative review from Ms. [redacted] and now we are saddened to see that Ms. [redacted] has...

also filed a complaint against our company. We have been working very hard on behalf of Ms. [redacted] to assist her in finding someone special. She purchased 8 referrals/matches and has only met two gentlemen thus far. After meeting the two gentlemen, Ms. [redacted] then requested to “withdraw” from the program. We called her to discuss this and explained to her that there will be times that her program slows down due to preferences. We discussed her two matches with her.  Ms. [redacted] felt her first match was too “self-absorbed”, so we then sent her second match whom she had a nice time with, but she felt that the number of his children was too over whelming. We reminded her that she did decline a gentleman we called her about due to his education, so we are fine-tuning and continuing the search for her. We stated we did have a potential referral which we were looking into and it appears to be a good referral for both sides. Ms. [redacted] approved the match, so we put it together. Unfortunately, this gentleman became unavailable to date at this time. We are just as disappointed if this should happen, as we ask our clients to keep us updated on their availability at all times. If a client becomes unavailable, they are supposed to contact us. If a client is currently active in our system, we can only assume they are ready to receive matches. Ms. [redacted] was bothered by this, as we can understand, but she must also understand that we cannot control our client’s availability and/or behavior. We have a large team of people who spend all their time recruiting and interviewing new candidates for our program on behalf of our existing clients. We have an extensive database, however, we have to ensure that we only match our clients with those who show to be compatible with them, according to their profile information. We are selective of whom we will match our clients with, as we are focused on helping others achieve long-term relationships which will last. When Ms. [redacted] joined our services, we provided her with a copy of our Regulations, which she agreed to having reviewed under paragraph #2 in her agreement. In these Regulations, we explain some pertinent information regarding referrals/matches. We state that we are using our best judgment when providing referrals, no two people are generally perfectly compatible and we are unable to predict the time frame and frequency of referrals. We also go on to explain that our clients will not agree to meet with everyone they are matched with and our clients will not like everyone they meet through us. In addition, we have our clients sign a client obligation form which states that our clients agree they must meet all of their purchased matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet their expectations of the program. They also agree to discuss any concerns they may have directly with our staff prior to contacting a third-party agency. We try to provide realistic expectations for our program. All-in-all, we only want success for all of our clients. All we want is to help Ms. [redacted] find someone special. We ask her to continue her program and know that we are working hard on her behalf.Thank you,Ohio Singles

To Whom It May Concern,Please see the following attachment:Thank You,Ohio SinglesOhio SinglesDate: 2/19/16Re: [redacted]Case #: [redacted]To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of [redacted]’s rejection. As we previously explained, we have been working very hard on behalf of [redacted] came to us in search of someone special and we are trying to help him find a companion. We are not trying to place any “blame” on [redacted]. We are simply trying to communicate with him and resolve his concerns. As we said, we promised to match [redacted] with those who are likely most mutually compatible with him, according to their profile information. We use our best judgment when providing referrals, there is no time frame for matches and no two people are generally perfectly compatible. Sometimes we explain to our clients that it is beneficial to be more open on their preferences, as this can better their chances of finding a successful relationship. We are only trying to help [redacted] be successful. We are encouraging him to be open.As we stated, we matched [redacted] with a woman who was, indeed, a client. However, she became unavailable for dating and forgot to inform our staff of her availability. Again, [redacted] signed an agreement which contains a cancellation policy (we previously provided a copy of this agreement). This policy states that the Client must cancel in writing within their 3-day right to rescind. [redacted] did not cancel within his 3-day right of rescission. Also, [redacted] agrees to try and resolve any matters directly with our staff, per his signed client obligation form (we previously provided a copy of this signed form). As we mentioned, we would like nothing more than to continue working with [redacted]. We are here for him.Regards,Ohio Singles

Please see our attached response.Thank you,Ohio SinglesDate: 3/20/17Re: [redacted]Case #: [redacted]To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s rejection to our response. We only wish to help Ms. [redacted] find someone special. Sometimes we may have a certain type of person in mind with certain characteristics, but we may end up falling for someone we never thought we would have. We handle the compatibility aspect for our clients. Then, we have them meet just to determine if there is any chemistry between them. Sometimes we ask our clients to consider bending a little on their preferences simply because we want to give them EVERY possible opportunity to find that special someone. We had a client send us a letter explaining that she is SO happy she agreed to meet a man we had in mind for her, although some criteria was not what she had requested. She NEVER imagined she would end up falling for the man we matched her with. THEY ARE NOW MARRIED.We have been responsible for helping MANY people find successful relationships. We ask Ms. [redacted] to have some faith in us and trust that we are experienced matchmakers. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Ms. [redacted] and hope to assist her in finding a companion.Thank you,Ohio Singles

I do not have any additional materials explaining the resell option. The only reference to reselling my matches is handwritten on my contract, which has already been provided. Thank you, [redacted]

Re: [redacted]Case #: [redacted]To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s complaint and will address her claims. Please note that we have been working hard on Ms. [redacted]’s behalf to find her the most mutually compatible, suitable match. This can take much time and research,...

as we will ONLY match our clients with those who show to be compatible, according to the client’s profile information and 21 compatibility indicators. Some people find someone special right away and for others it can take time. This is why we explain in our Regulations (which Ms. [redacted] received a copy of when joining and agreed to having reviewed in her agreement) that we are unable to predict the time frame and frequency of matches. However, we will continue working for our clients until all referrals have been fulfilled, per the agreement. We did find a potential match for Ms. [redacted] in November, but decided not to put it together, due to some details regarding criteria. Therefore, we did not contact Ms. [redacted] about this referral. Ms. [redacted] then contacted us in December and said she met someone, so she questioned the resale option. Ms. [redacted]’s understanding was that she could sell her program back to our company, but this is not how the resale option works. This option entails that the client must refer a friend or family member to utilize the remainder of their program if they are found to be qualified for our services. This was explained during the interview process. Ms. [redacted] said she was under the impression it was something different, but we explained that we have never purchased back a client’s program. There is also nothing in the agreement which states that we have a “buy back” type option. The agreement states “resalable”. Ms. [redacted] spoke with a couple different staff members regarding this issue. We have offered to keep her program on hold while she explores her new relationship. Ms. [redacted] just spoke with someone yesterday, 1/10, and we explained we would have someone else contact her as well. We have now received this complaint. In addition to signing an agreement which explains that clients may only cancel within their 3-day right of rescission, Ms. [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states that she agrees to contact us directly if she has any concerns regarding her program. She agrees to talk with someone in Client Services. If she is unable to reach a resolution with our Client Services staff, she then agrees to speak with a senior member of our Client Resolution team. Ms. [redacted] has agreed to all the above prior to contacting any third-party agency, which includes contacting the Revdex.com.We apologize that there was apparently a misunderstanding with the resale option, but we have reiterated to Ms. [redacted] what this option entails. We would like nothing more than to continue working with Ms. [redacted] or we welcome any friend/family member she may like to transfer her program to. Thank you for your time in this matter.

Date: 11/9/17 Re: [redacted]   To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of [redacted]’s complaint. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We are very surprised to receive this complaint. Everything has been right on schedule with [redacted]’s program and our services have been...

provided exactly as they were described to her both verbally during her interview and according to the paperwork she signed and received copies of. Also, the one and only gentleman [redacted] met so far was apparently a good referral, according to her date feedback. [redacted] joined our services on 9/30. She chose our program which consists of 5 referrals. [redacted] received her first referral on 10/16. We explain to our clients (and it is listed in our paperwork) that we will search on their behalf for referrals on a monthly basis (but we also explain that we are unable to predict the time frame and frequency of each referral). We also explain that we will match our clients using our best judgment and we will find referrals whom most NEARLY match the client’s requirements. [redacted] completed her date feedback on 10/25. She stated that the date was “GOOD” overall and she rated the date a “4”, on a scale of 1-5, with “5” being the highest possible rating. [redacted] even stated: “I thought it was a great referral.” She also e-mailed the following: “I had a good time with Patrick. We had great conversation and I would like to go out with him again. He is down to earth. He is an attractive guy and seems like he is a lot of fun.” [redacted] even placed her account on hold while she pursued a relationship with the gentleman. Shortly after, she contacted us to let us know there were some differences between them, so she wanted us to continue the search. She mentioned nothing about him being in another relationship. Those who join our services attest that they are sincere and serious about finding a relationship and everyone invests in our program to find that special someone. We absolutely conduct a national background check on each person who joins our services. The background check provides us information regarding any prior charges, convictions, etc. We do not enroll those who have a felony or domestic abuse charges. We take this very seriously. As you can see above, everything is on schedule with [redacted]’s program and we appear to be headed in the right direction, as she enjoyed meeting her first referral and said she thought it was “great”. We have been actively searching for [redacted]’s next referral and hope to find someone for her soon. We ask that she continues the process with a positive attitude, as she has only just begun. We also ask that she contacts us directly if she has any concerns with her program. Kindest Regards, Ohio Singles
