I have attached copies of the emails and text messages that have been exchanged between *** (LaFemme) and myselfI have given her multiple dates to reschedule the appointment and make it rightI have informed her that Groupon said that they would not give a refund, although they have tried to rectify things on their side to some degree (email also attached)As far as requesting my bank to dispute the charge, it wasn't through my bank but a credit card that has already been paid and all she has to do is give a refund back on the cardI did pull up the statement from the credit card and the charge was for $on 4/26/
I would like her to 1) contact Groupon and have them issue the refund and 2) she refund the full $that she charged to my credit card OR she can fulfill her business obligation of meeting with me and providing me with the services that I paid for

[redacted] authorized all charges so nothing was "stolen" from her I was very sick for a little over a week and told her on Sunday to allow her plenty of time to plan for us rebooking. She requested two different dates in November one of which I am already booked up with 3 other clients and she...

requested veterans day which is also booked with three clients. I told her I had to make some calls to move things around and put in three calls to my three ladies who are booked on veterans day to see if any of them could change to a different day in order for me to accomodate [redacted]. I am still awaiting two calls back from messages I left therefore had not been able to give [redacted] a solid yes about veterans day. All sessions are rebboked according to availability as well as the refund policy is all sessions are non refundable (stated on website as well as sales receipt) I have been doing photography for over two years now and have worked at this point  with hundreds of satisfied clients who return to me for more photo sessions and even send me referrals and I have hundreds of files to prove that I have yet in fact service hundreds of women it's just unfortunate that the ladies who never even follow through with their booking with me are the ones who write in and complain, or log online and write public and usually very ugly reviews about their experience with me when they chose to not rebook a session. I am sorry [redacted] that I was sick and couldnt do your shoot for you. Believe it or not I do not cancel as often as people think due to personal illness, child being sick, or having to care for my 78 year old mother that lives in another state, or the unpredictable weather that plays a huge part in what I do because I am a natural light photographer and enough sunlight entering through the windows of the space I am shooting out of is important. Without enough natural light the photos come out grainy, blurry, and dark. I really wish that you would have contacted me directly as I have always communicated with you in a timely and respectful manner. After reading your complaint I am aware that you are no longer wanting to rebook and of your filing a dispute with your bank . The bank will contact me to get the ok on the refund so your refund will be processed for you since you no longer want my services. Again my apologies for not being able to assist you with photos but please let me know if I can assist you or your bank in any other way to secure a refund.

She is a smooth talker, I'll give her that.  However, my bank is not going to contact her.  I have spoken with them and that is not how they work.  Rather than making promises to work with my bank when they contact her, she needs to send me the money or send the bank the money.  At such time that my bank has been properly credited, I will accept the business' resolution.  Until then, words from her are meaningless.  It is mighty funny that she has not contacted me since Sunday, it is now Friday, and she only now contacted me because she got a Revdex.com complaint. She makes it sound like she was trying to work with me, but she already knew I was leery after reading Revdex.com and Yelp complaints, but she made no effort from Sunday to Friday to contact me.  I do not doubt that she keeps some appointments now and then; I have spoken with a previous client who did actually get pictures taken.  However, there are many more people who simply give up with all of her rescheduling and just lose their money.  She is a very dishonest person and I do not trust her one bit.  She thinks she can cancel and cancel and cancel and then hide behind her no refunds policy when the customer gets sick of it and wants their money back.  Heck, there is one customer who's been trying to reschedule so long that she's four months pregnant now and wasn't even pregnant when she first started trying to schedule.    She does not use her real name on her website, she uses a fake last name.  Just a shady character.  Again, [redacted] talks a good game, but she is either a very, very poor business owner who needs to no longer own businesses, or she is a crook.  FYI, she used to own a consignment business (Dolled Up Gurl Dollhouse) and had a consignee complain that she never paid her for wedding dress.  She just has a pattern of ripping people off then trying to talk her way out of it.

Groupon is responsible for issuing refunds on groupons pruchased that can not be redeemed due to no availability to perform the service for holly. They have a groupon guarenntee policy so as already stated to [redacted] she will need to contact them for a refund and contact her bank to File a dispute so...

they can issue her refund to her card for the $57 paid for the sitting fee. Once lafemme recieves the dispute from the card company the refund will be approved. This has been explained to [redacted] multiple times.

Review: This business has been highly unprofessional. It took me a few days of calling to even get an appointment with her. Then I finally got her to give me an appointment on April 10th for May 28th. She said she could not book my appointment until I paid her a $50 sitting fee and payed the taxes and shipping charges that totaled about $80. This had changed after I bought the groupon. I really wanted to do this so I figured it was still cheaper than if I went somewhere else. I told her I had a few questions when I booked and she told me that they would be answered in the welcome letter, and that she would get that emailed to me right away. I also asked her to email a receipt for the credit card charges and she said she would. A week later I still hadn't received them so I emailed her asking if she could please resend them since I must have missed them. She emailed back that she has started to send the welcome letters out as we get closer to the session date. I say no problem but could she still send me a receipt for the extra charges. She never acknowledged this or sent the receipt. A week before the session I still hadn't heard anything from her so emailed her again saying I just wanted to confirm my appointment for next Wednesday, May, 28th. Also, anything I need to know before hand? Thanks =). She emailed back that I do confirmations the night before and I will email letters this weekend :) . The weekend came and went, no letter came. This was now Monday morning and my session was on Wednesday so I emailed again saing Hi. I was just wondering if you could please resend the welcome letter. It didn't come through. She then emailed and texted me me back. Hey emily just got your email I will resend the welcome letter to you today also looking at wednesdays forecast looks like 90% rain so we may be rebooking all appointments for weds I will let you know the night before when I do confirmations :) This was in indoor photography session and she never mentioned that she didn't have lights and that we would have to reschedule if it was raining. My husband and I had already taken off work. I had my hair and nails done and then she cancelled. It took a few days and several calls and texts and my husband talking to her to get her to reschedule. We asked for a refund which she refused, saying she has a no refund policy. So she finally gave us a new date and time a month later was the soonest she could squeeze me in. The night before I still hadn't heard from her so I emailed her to confirm my appointment. At 9:40pm the night before my session was scheduled I get this reply Hey emily I sent out an email this morning about this weekends sessions been having issues with some emails through my hotmail not getting to clients apparently you didnt get the one I sent :( I apologize for that, the weather doesnt seem to be on our side for this weekend so let me know what other dates/times work for you ...I hope you get this email if so it might be better to call or text me ###-###-#### for future communications:) thanks a bunch!. There was a 30% chance of rain. She is in south LA there aren't many days where there isn't a chance of rain in the afternoon especially in the summer. I tried to get in touch with her to reschedule, but she ignored me.Desired Settlement: She has cancelled my appointment twice on short notice. She is very difficult to get in touch with and after the second time she cancelled, impossible to get in touch with. I do not wish to try to reschedule again. We can't afford for my husband and I to take off work anymore, and get my hair and nails done just for her to most likely cancel again. I would like a complete refund.

Review: No services were rendered. After multiple attempts to receive a refund, there has been no response from the business.Desired Settlement: Refund for $179.44.

Review: I purchased a set of photos ($99 for the shoot plus another $80 for expedited processing of photos) from La Femme Photography in November 2013. Her first available appointment was not until February 2014, so I scheduled that appointment. The day of the photo shoot she called and cancelled on me. She apologized and promised to reschedule to her next available date....which happened to not be until May 2014. Although this was quite a stretch of time, I was very excited to get these photos done. As the appointment approached she cancelled yet again, setting me up for her next available appointment, October 2014. The night before this photo shoot, she cancels again. At this point, after quite a few emails, texts, and phone calls and 11 months of patiently waiting for my photos, I asked for a refund. Strangely enough I have not heard from her since. The last correspondence I have had with her was on October 27, 2014. This is the night she cancelled on me the day before my last scheduled photo shoot and I asked for my refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for at least the $80 I was duped into paying for the expedited service.

Review: The photographer and owner of La Femme Photography ([redacted]) is engaging in extremely deceptive business practices. I bought a Groupon deal in order to take Boudoir photos as a present to my fiance for our wedding. [redacted] cancelled my booked appointment that was scheduled for over two months due to her being "sick". Due to the cancellation, my photos will no longer be ready for my wedding date (if I tried to reschedule). I asked for a refund for the additional $167.62 I paid up front that she requires as an "out of studio and photo expedite fee" to book my appointment, and she agreed to honor it. I still have not received any confirmation that my refund is processing, nor have I received a refund. [redacted] has since lied three times to me about issuing me a refund for the $167.62 that she requires in addition to the $99.00 Groupon price. The photographer is benefiting from Groupon, Living Social and Amazon bringing her business and she is scamming people out of their money (including two of my grad school classmates who also purchased the deal). She does not even own a physical photography studio, nor is she currently located at the address listed on her website in Harahan, LA. In fact, that is an empty lot. Women are unknowingly booking appointments without realizing there is no studio in Louisiana to begin with. [redacted] is located in Las Vegas and is booking appointments with women in the greater New Orleans Area -- appointments I believe that she does not plan to honor whatsoever. I have filed a claim with my bank for the fraudulent charges, cancelled my credit card and filed claims with Living Social and Groupon. I have also reported this vendor on Yelp and Google reviews. It is my hope to prevent other women from being taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: I would like to be issued a refund for the $167.62 + $99 ($266.62 total) that I was charged from this deceptive "photographer".

Review: I wanted to choose more than one complaint but I could only choose one on this complaint form. My first issue involves Rebekah not refunding me the money paid for shipping of my photos as the photos were never taken. She required it to be paid in advance of the session. Second issue is really bad customer service. For almost 2 years I tried scheduling a photo session with her. She claimed to be so busy at times that she'd tell me to call the following month. She claimed she never had her appointment book with her during the times she did answer the phone. Twice she actually scheduled me and called to cancel within an hour of the appointment time. Once she was sick and the other was that it was cloudy outside and she uses natural light for her photography. Her excuses to postpone scheduling or the actual shoot were endless. This woman shoul not be licensed to operate any kind of business because she is scamming people out of money. My original photo package was purchased through Groupon so I was able to get that back in the way of Groupon bucks but I am out the money ( it's been so long tht I am unsure if it was $25-30) I gave her for shipping. She has somehow blocked calls and won't return emails. Someone needs to stop this woman because she is taking money but not delivering service or merchandise. Desired Settlement: Refund of my shipping charges that I paid to her with a credit card. I no longer have that card so a certified check or money order would suffice. My mailing address is 905 Weyer St. Gretna,La 70053

Review: I contacted La Femme in New Orleans about a Groupon I saw for a photo session on September 5, 2014. Before I bought it, I had a few questions for the owner. She called me on September 6, 2014 and said she would honor the Groupon directly. She answered my questions and told me that for an additional $250.00 I could have the digital rights to my images. I would have to pay $180 upfront to book my appointment. I agreed to this and on September 6 at 10:47pm I received a text showing a payment of $180.62 from my credit card. My appointment was scheduled for October 22, 2014 at 11am. On October 21, 2014 [redacted] (not sure that is her real name) called me to confirm my appointment and also to get my authorization to charge my card for the copyright fee. At 3:04pm I authorized the charge over text message. On October 22, 2014 (the scheduled appointment), I received a text at 7:30am saying that she would have to reschedule, that she was sick. I had a bad feeling, and I started looking at online reviews and found that this is her modus operandi she continually cancels at the last minute (shes sick, kid is sick, mom in Vegas is sick, weather isnt right for natural light, etc) and reschedules and cancels yet again. Very few people it seems ever get their photos taken. So then I let her know that I was really worried about her habit of canceling and no one ever getting their money back. At that time, I asked for a refund of at least the $250 copyright fee. She called me to reschedule, and reassured me that all would be fine. We rescheduled for October 28, 2014 at 11am. On October 26, 2014, a Sunday, she texts me in the morning saying that she has to cancel Tuesday; she has a virus and her doctor advised her to cancel all appointments. Not too many viruses last an entire week, not to mention, who sees their doctor on Sunday? We made a few attempts to reschedule; it was left that she would call me on Monday to confirm if we could do the date I requested. As of today (Friday), no call.Desired Settlement: I want the $450 she stole to be paid back to my credit union. I filed a disputed charge with them, and they said they are going to remove the charges. They deserve their money back from this thief, or if they don't reverse them, I deserve the money back to pay my bill.

Review: [redacted]On October 8th, I contacted [redacted] to schedule a photo shoot. I found a Groupon deal that for $99, I would get a 3 hour photoshoot, which included hair and makeup application. When we spoke on the phone, she informed me that the photoshoot would be more than the Groupon deal since it did not include the studio fee. She then requested that I pay her upfront for the total fees and I not go through Groupon since she would not see all the money if I did. After she had told me how much everything would be, I decided against the shoot. She then sent me a text message that she would split up the payments for me: I could pay half the money upfront ($133.81) and then I'd pay the other half when I did my shoot, so I did. My shoot was going to be on Monday Oct 20th. I received a text from her on Wednesday Oct 15th asking if I would pay her the rest of the money that day. I told her I couldn't but I could pay her the following day, when I got my paycheck. At this point, I was beginning to feel very uneasy with [redacted] Her asking for the $ upfront was unsettling. On Thursday, I sent her a text that I was going away for the weekend and would like to stick to the original plan of paying her on the day of the shoot since I wanted the extra cash in my pocket, but she will be paid in full on Monday at the time of my shoot. After reading other reviews re her canceling, I was afraid she would do the same to me and Id lose the money. She said she wanted the $. I stated she would be paid in full on Monday when I saw her as per the original agreement. She told me she would have no choice but to cancel my appointment because I cannot afford it and that I was being rude to her. None of which was true. I asked her for a refund or to settle the matter in small claims court if she'd rather. She claims she issued the refund on October 8th, and it could take up to 20 days to process. I have yet to see the refund and it has been over 20 days. I have the texts and emails between [redacted] and myself saved.Desired Settlement: I would like the $133.81 refunded. I have made a claim with the bank and they are investigating the issue. In addition, I would like Revdex.com to be aware of the issue. There are countless negative reviews on Yelp regarding [redacted] and her business as well as numerous Revdex.com complaints. Something must be done to remedy these situations and ensure it does not happen again.

Regards,

Review: I found this business on Groupon while searching for boudoir photography. The Groupon deal was for $99.00 and included a three hour session of hair styling, make-up, and photography as well as a photo book of your pictures. I contacted [redacted] on October 20, 2014 to schedule an appointment. She told me she could honor the Groupon deal directly because Groupon kept so much percent of her offer if clients booked through them. The $99.00 session plus a sitting fee and shipping and handling for the photo book came to $180.62 which was paid to [redacted] on October 20th. She stated she was booked up through the holidays and the earliest weekend she had available was on January 18th so that's the day I booked my photo shoot for. A few days before January 18th, I went back online to pull up the address for the studio and I came across several different addresses as well as a ton of negative reviews for this business on Yelp as well as Facebook. Concerned, I contacted [redacted] about the location. She then informed me that she no longer rents a studio in New Orleans and she shoots out of rental properties. When I asked where we'd be shooting at, she said she'd text me the morning of the shoot to let me know the location. Huge red flag to me...this shoot has been booked for 3 months now and you still don't have the location set up yet. I immediately contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges from this fake scam of a business. Needless to say the day/time of the photo shoot has come and gone and I have yet to be contacted by [redacted] as to the location my supposed photo shoot was supposed to take place.Desired Settlement: This business needs to be shut down. Websites like Groupon, Living Social, and Amazon local need to be made aware of this scam so they aren't associated with fraud. [redacted] needs to be caught and she needs to refund every single person and financial institution that she has taken money from.
