Review: Picked up a pioneer elite tv took a $400.00 dollar deposit for repair said it would take 1-2 weeks.

It's now been over 3 months and is refusing to refund my money and has not fixed tv.Desired Settlement: $400.00

Promised TV repair, took advance payment and disappeared for a couple of months. Finally after legal intervention returned part of the advance payment and not repaired TV.

Review: [redacted] took my 55" flat screen tv to allow it to access internet and also to fix the problem of it shutting off and turning back on periodically.He took it March 17, 2015 and I was not able to get it back until April 14, 2015 after many, many calls to him and many of his excuses. I paid him a deposit of $300 and then an additional $172. He finally returned the tv, but the "repair" lasted only 6 days.I have filed complaints with Consumer Affairs, Santa PD, and the Attorney General.The tv has a warranty, but there is no way he is getting my tv back since he has a history of not returning products nor money.Yesterday I purchased a $29.00 Chrome Cast flashdrive from Best Buy and now able to view [redacted] Streaming. So what did I pay him the $472.00 for?????Please help me and the many other victims to get our tvs and/or money back.Regards,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my money and to have him put out of business and also to have the public aware of his criminal activity.As you probably know, he did the same thing in [redacted] and then relocated to So Cal.

Review: Rep from LA TV came to our house on Nov. 7, 2014 - after opening the back of our SAMSUNG flat screen TV he said he would need to take it to the shop and order parts. Promised to have it back to us by Thanksgiving week. That week came, and went, and in Dec. we called him only to be told he had the part on order and it hadn't arrived yet. After a few more phone calls by us, and the same responses from him - problem with parts, incorrect parts,etc. he finally told us he couldn't fix it with the parts he ordered, and he would bring it back to us. We told him we didn't need a TV that didn't work, or couldn't be fixed, and asked he refund our $300 deposit we gave him on Nov. 7. He said he couldn't refund the entire $300 due to his time, parts he ordered, etc. so we agreed to let him keep $100 of the deposit. He said he would mail us a check. It has now been 4 months, and more promises to refund our $200, and still no refund. We are tired of the lies and just want our $200 back.Desired Settlement: A refund from him in the amount of $200 - OR better YET - a refund in the entire amount we gave him.... $300 !!

Review: This individual came out to repair a television. Retrieved circuit boards and left with down payment of $450. Said 1 week to repair. Been 3 weeks and he always has excuses. Never calls customer.

I have to make all contact. Complaints and filings from other customers are identical. Never contacts customer and fails to refund or finish repair in a timely manner.Desired Settlement: Repair and bill adjustment.

Review: [redacted] OF LA TV REPAIR CAME TO MY HOME AND GAVE ME ESTIMATE FOR MY SAMSUNG TV. I TOLD HIM IT WAS MORE THAN WHAT I WANTED TO PAY FOR REPAIR AND I WOULD PAY HIM THE $40 HE CHAREGES FOR ESTIMATES OF REPAIR. HE DROPPED THE PRICE TO $220 IF I WOULD BE WILLING TO WAIT FOR HIM TO REPAIR IT IN TWO WEEKS. I THOUGHT MAYBE I COULD SAVE A FEW BUCKS IF I WAS WILLING TO PUT UP WITH THE INCONVENIENC. HE ASKED FOR $150 UP FRONT FOR PARTS AND WOULD COLLECT BALANCE UPON TV BEING RETURNED AND FIXED. IT HAS BEEN OVER 6 WEEKS NOW (SINCE JAN.14, 2015) AND AFTER NUMBEROUS CALLS, NO TV REPAIR ONLY A PROMISE HE IS WORKING ON IT. I WENT TO THE I NTERNET AND FINALLY FOUND SOME REVIEWS ON THIS BUSINESS AND 90% WAS NEGATIVE AND THAT THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THEM. MONEY UP FRONT, CASHED IMMEDIATELY, NO TV REPAIR. HE IS A SCAM AND FRAUD AND IS DOING THIS DAILY TO MANY PEOPLE. HE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.Desired Settlement: RETURN TV INTACT, REFUND DEPOSIT AND IF NOT, REFER THIS PERSON TO DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR PROSCECUTION OF FRAUD AND DECEIT..

Review: On 11/7/14 [redacted] owner of LA TV Repair came out to repair our TV & said he needed to take it to his shop to take it apart & it would be 1-2 weeks maximum. I have called him every week & continue to get excuses on why the TV isn't fixed. On 12/24 I asked him to just bring the TV back as is, [redacted] said no he would bring the TV back if & when he's ready to. He charged our credit card on 11/9 for the parts & labor but we have yet to get the TV back as of 1/8/15. In fact, on 1/7/15 Edwin said he would not return our TV.Desired Settlement: We want our TV back & our credit card refunded.

Review: A man named [redacted] from LA TV Repair came to my home on Sept. 27, 2014 and took the main board to my tv and said he would take it to his shop to repair the pixal problem I was having with my tv set. He wanted the money up front and said he needed to money to order the parts. I have been calling him at lease once a week and he has given me the run around. The address to his business is not even a real shop. It is a house. Other people have posted to his web site and they have had the same problem that I am having. He is a person who takes your money and does not provide the service that you are promised. In other words he is a crook. When I've called him he says the parts are not available and he does not offer any explanation. He has taken off with $450 and the guts to my tv. This person has to be stopped so that other people are not ripped off.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back along with the part he took out of my tv.
