Again, William does not understand that he has prevented a solution at every stage of this transaction. The solution he is asking for is ludicrous as that exceeds (or at least rivals) the total value of the system (with the exception of the new video card he bought).
He has also removed the machine from the store by lying and tricking staff members.

To clearly recap:
The machine was brought to us NOT WORKING at all. We repaired it, and assisted him with recovering damages from [redacted].
We also tucked and cleaned the machine, in addition to preventing further heating damage due to past repair attempts (presumably by [redacted]).
Shipping costs, materials and labor are lost here.
____
As to the machine itself:
The parts are antiquated therefore are displayed with obscene prices due to time passing with no update, or "lets get lucky" mentality. $400 + labor is hard to achieve on a top-end MODERN motherboard. In fact, you could replace ALL of the core components (motherboard, processor & RAM) for a similar price with better, more modern equipment. Just to give an idea of how ludicrous this sum is: The motherboard on flagship machine (the Bestia, retailing at $4999.99) has a $400 motherboard in it.

business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

After first filing a complaint with the Revdex.com, Doug (owner)  proceeded to curse, insult, and threaten me after refusing to fix or return my property. Nassau County Incident Report #[redacted]. Doug assured the officers and myself that the computer would be ready for me to take at no charge the next day. The next day it was not ready and was told two more days were needed. After two days I returned and saw my computer sitting in the same spot untouched, one of dougs employees began to reassemble it and was done in a matter of minutes. Doug insisted I sign a document stating that he only broke the motherboard. I refused, as he had not shown me any evidence of this. Doug assured me that he would get it in working order. Something I had heard from him to many times over the last 5 months. He then went back to not working on my machine and not being in his store during business hours. After driving back and forth to the store everyday for a week one of his employees were finally there. He explained to me that Doug had not shipped out my motherboard to try to get it replaced and that he didn't know why his boss was acting like this with all of his customers lately. He then apologized for the situation and returned my property. It was taken directly to "[redacted]" for a full diagnoses. The motherboard (which worked when it was dropped off at LanLabs as stated in the diagnostic written by Doug) was found to be defective and in need of replacement.  By not being in the store during posted hours and not returning calls or emails the business is, by definition, unreachable. There was also no work done on my machine to be "paid for" according to LanLabs "no fix no fee" policy.LanLabs should pay for the damages that were caused while my machine was in their care. -[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
To Recap:The machine was brought to LanLabs not working at all. Doug showed me that the machine worked with one of his graphics cards inside. When I brought my new graphics card to the store, Doug told me my machine was cursed and my motherboard "broke on its own" while in LanLabs possession. He then hid from myself and other customers, ignoring his own posted store hours. He then lied about steps he had taken to attempt a fix on the rare occasion anyone was in his store. According to the diagnostic written by Doug my graphics card was the only issue at the time of drop off. His refusal to pay for the damages he caused is both laughable and insulting. Also, Doug has proceeded to make up prices and values for my machine that do not reflect ANY market anywhere. This complaint will not be considered resolved until I recieve compensation for damages and costs of labor to fix, either by cash or money order. I will not accept personal checks from liars and scam artists.

I don't understand how a store with business hours can be "unreachable". However, the customer was able to deceive my staff into allowing him to take the computer without payment. So I would assume this matter is settled.  [redacted]

many times. At this point the owner would just ignore me. Always with no results, no replacement for my computer.  I Called Channel 4 I-Team with Lynda Baquero to run a story. They went to LanLabs and confronted the owner(Doug). He admitted on camera that his technician did damaged my computer. The owner said on camera that he would have a replacement computer for me by Friday 10/**/15 and that he would call me. He never called. I went to LanLabs Friday 10/**/15 it was closed. I e-mailed LanLabs. The owner(Doug) said his front desk guy had a family emergency and that the store was closed. I went back on Monday 10/**/15 and  I spoke to the owner (Doug). The owner said he had not gotten a delivery. We agreed for me to come in Tuesday morning 10/**/15.  Tuesday morning the Owner was not there. I asked the front desk guy to called him. The Owner told the front desk guy to tell me that he would call me when he got a delivery. At this point I realized that he was giving me the same excuse, he has given me since May of 2014. On 10/**/2015 [redacted]. ran the story. Also the owner is not licence or insured in Nassau County. Instead of giving me the replacement that he CLEARLY ADMITTED TO DAMAGING AND THAT HE WOULD GIVE ME A REPLACEMENT TO,  the owner e-mailed me to offer me $75 for the computer they damaged and have had for over a year and seven months. After, admitting to the damage and saying he will give me a replacement. He decided I should only receive $75 for a computer I had paid $1,104.00

Review: I brought my IPAD mini to repair a cracked screen on 11/**/14. I called and spoke with [redacted]) who said it was drying it will ready today 11/**. I attempted to pick it up and the I pad would not turn on. [redacted] stated he broke the display fuse and doesn't have a small solder to be able to fix it. In addition he cracked the new screen when using a clamp to attach the screen, so it is still cracked.

I asked to call the [redacted]. He called and spoke with the [redacted] who stated to take the Ipad to [redacted]. I don't feel that I should have to pay extra to fix the mistake he made.

I asked for the [redacted] to call me directly, he did not. I called another repair place to fix it and was told that the display and a new screen will cost 200.00.Desired Settlement: Either repair and return the Ipad in working condition or pay for me to get it fixed.

Review: Back in July I called upon LanLabs. Our company had done a computer system upgrade and we had old computers laying around we no longer needed and wanted to sell. I called LanLabs and they came to our company, inspected our equipment and took it offsite for an agreed consignment sale. I was provided through email a list of equipment they took from us and how much money it could fetch upon sale and [redacted] at LanLabs agreed to proceed with the consignment as did I. I now sit on 10/**/14 months later, we have no equipment returned, no money was given to our company and have had 0 successful contact with [redacted] or the company. I have emailed the company and have gotten no replies. I call and leave messages to the given number and get no return calls. I call and very rarely get a person on to speak with (extremely rare), [redacted] is never around or available. They take my name and number and never call back. I keep being promised an inventory list that will be emailed to me to outline what they still have and what they sold for us I never receive it. This consignment was agreed upon 7/**/14. According to the deal we have made via email between 30 and 90 days they would keep our equipment. They have not only breached their own agreement but have failed to comply or respond to any of our requests. Currently they are basically in theft of our money and equipment and we want it back.Desired Settlement: I want our equipment returned to our facility. Any money they made selling our equipment I want collected as well.

Review: On April *, 2014, I brought my laptop to have the jack that connects to my power cord replaced because the laptop wasn't charging. I spoke to owner Doug, who said he would order the jack and would call me when the laptop would be ready for pick-up (2 weeks). I have been to the store almost twice a week for months, leaving messages at the front desk and made countless calls with no response. I finally got to speak to the owner (Doug) the ONE day he picked up the phone, the owner finally said his tech ruined the mother board while trying to replace the jack. The OWNER said he would try to have it repaired or he would replace and/or pay for the computer, which cost me $1,100.00, and was custom built. The owner said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to locate a new board. This was back in 6/**. I have been to the store countless times, left many messages, and still no feed back. In 10/** I was told the piece was in back order and was waiting for delivery. I went to store numerous times and was always told the same "[redacted]"," [redacted]". I finally got to speak to the owner in the store, this time he showed me my computer in pieces. He said it was being repaired, and assured me that he would call me when the repair was done. This was in 4/**. I never got a call, though I have tried to get in contact (no one picks-up) and traveled to the store many times. After I finally get a hold of the owner in the store, he said to give him a week to resolve problem and if not he would replace computer, that he will call me in a week. I spoke to the owner in person several times, but I am always told the same thing. He states he doesn't know where the computer is and that he has to wait for his tech to come it to find it, and that he would call me. I have tried to resolve this matter, but its taken sixteen months and a lot of hassle to complete what should have been a simple repair.Desired Settlement: At this time, either repair computer and have it returned in the same working condition with all original installed programs running), or have it replaced with a computer of equal value, or reimbursed for the price of my computer.
