Review: On April *, 2014, I brought my laptop to have the jack that connects to my power cord replaced because the laptop wasn't charging. I spoke to owner Doug, who said he would order the jack and would call me when the laptop would be ready for pick-up (2 weeks). I have been to the store almost twice a week for months, leaving messages at the front desk and made countless calls with no response. I finally got to speak to the owner (Doug) the ONE day he picked up the phone, the owner finally said his tech ruined the mother board while trying to replace the jack. The OWNER said he would try to have it repaired or he would replace and/or pay for the computer, which cost me $1,100.00, and was custom built. The owner said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to locate a new board. This was back in 6/**. I have been to the store countless times, left many messages, and still no feed back. In 10/** I was told the piece was in back order and was waiting for delivery. I went to store numerous times and was always told the same "[redacted]"," [redacted]". I finally got to speak to the owner in the store, this time he showed me my computer in pieces. He said it was being repaired, and assured me that he would call me when the repair was done. This was in 4/**. I never got a call, though I have tried to get in contact (no one picks-up) and traveled to the store many times. After I finally get a hold of the owner in the store, he said to give him a week to resolve problem and if not he would replace computer, that he will call me in a week. I spoke to the owner in person several times, but I am always told the same thing. He states he doesn't know where the computer is and that he has to wait for his tech to come it to find it, and that he would call me. I have tried to resolve this matter, but its taken sixteen months and a lot of hassle to complete what should have been a simple repair.Desired Settlement: At this time, either repair computer and have it returned in the same working condition with all original installed programs running), or have it replaced with a computer of equal value, or reimbursed for the price of my computer.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by LanLabs regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
At this time, I have not been contacted directly by LanLabs regarding complaint ID [redacted].LanLabs did not contact me. I had gone to the store many times. At this point the owner would just ignore me. Always with no results, no replacement for my computer. I Called Channel 4 I-Team with Lynda Baquero to run a story. They went to LanLabs and confronted the owner(Doug). He admitted on camera that his technician did damaged my computer. The owner said on camera that he would have a replacement computer for me by Friday 10/**/15 and that he would call me. He never called. I went to LanLabs Friday 10/**/15 it was closed. I e-mailed LanLabs. The owner(Doug) said his front desk guy had a family emergency and that the store was closed. I went back on Monday 10/**/15 and I spoke to the owner (Doug). The owner said he had not gotten a delivery. We agreed for me to come in Tuesday morning 10/**/15. Tuesday morning the Owner was not there. I asked the front desk guy to called him. The Owner told the front desk guy to tell me that he would call me when he got a delivery. At this point I realized that he was giving me the same excuse, he has given me since May of 2014. On 10/**/2015 [redacted]. ran the story. Also the owner is not licence or insured in Nassau County. Instead of giving me the replacement that he CLEARLY ADMITTED TO DAMAGING AND THAT HE WOULD GIVE ME A REPLACEMENT TO, the owner e-mailed me to offer me $75 for the computer they damaged and have had for over a year and seven months. After, admitting to the damage and saying he will give me a replacement. He decided I should only receive $75 for a computer I had paid $1,104.00
