Purchasing procedures.I found this business online. Was needing to sell my laptop for some extra cash. They offered $145.00, but stated was dependent on condition of laptop. My laptop was in good working order, clean no scratches or damaged in any way. I shipped it on a Tuesday and it took 9 days for them to acknowledge they had received the item. Also, when tracking item it was suspiciously untraceable. After receipt it took another week for inspection. Now they offer me $23.00. I as other persons did not investigate this business before shipping my item. I also was unaware I had to call in to reject their offer. Today is the day after said offer and will definitely be calling in for a better offer or demand my item be returned, which I already have requested by e-mail. I personally think this business needs to be shut down. Obviously they lure people in by offering the higher price then try to scam them into accepting their offer by not allowing customers to actually speak with their representatives.Desired SettlementI would like at least the same offer I could have received for my item from selling on CraigsList. Which for the type of computer and condition it is in would be approximately $75.00Business Response [redacted] filed this complaint before speaking with directly as she agreed to before sending in the device. We have now been able to speak with her on 6/30/16 at 9:25am and we were able to come to an agreeable resolution. We appreciate her help in our efforts to resolve her complaint.Respectfully,[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)They did make me a better offer than what had been quoted after their inspection of my laptop, which was still less than 50% of the original offer.I still say they are being dishonest by quoting 5 to 6 times the price they will offer after inspection. their reasoning is the original quote is for like new condition still in the package. But to the best of my recollection there was not any statement about the original quote being for items in new condition. I just think this business is very misleading in their advertising practices. I would not recommend using this business for anyone needing to sell an item in a timely manner.

Researched selling them an iphone 6, Online they estimated that I could get $600 for it. Now they are tellling me $97I did an online evaluation of my iphone 6 and their site said I could get close to $600 for the phone. They sent me packaging for the phone which I received on12/2/14 I sent the phone to them on 12/3/14. on 12/12/14 I received an email that I would be credited $97. I emailed back saying to send my phone back immediately. They send an email on 12/13 saying I had to call them and that they would not handle over email. I called the next business day they were available on 12/15 and they keep transferrin to purchasing. Purchasing evidently disconnect after you have been on hold for 7 minutes, so I have been disconnected twice. This is a complete scamDesired SettlementI want my iphone 6 sent back to me immediately

Sell your cell - is a complete fraud. They offered me $350 for iPhone 6. I sent my phone and they said based on the condition they could only give me $53. The phone was exactly how I described it. No scratches and works perfectly. I looked online for reviews and most people are having the same experience. Others also said they were not able to get their phone back. I demanded mine and they are sending it back. This company should not be allowed to be in business and operate as they do.","neg-2

Requested my phone back from them a day after their final quote, they told me to call the number provided. I called and could not understand I word.I sent in my Galaxy S5 in very good condition for their quote of around $250. I wait for them to process everything and then on May 11th, 2016 I find out that they are only giving me $10 for it. So I email them letting them know I want to cancel the transaction that same day. Then they tell me I have to call 775-954-1103. So I call the next day during their hours and I can't here anything they are trying to say. It was very frustrating. After multiple attempts I find out that once 5 days passes the day of the final quote you can no longer reverse the transaction. Now I'm stuck with $10 while those thieves stole a perfectly good phone from me.Desired SettlementI want nothing to do with them anymore other than to receive my phone. They can have their dirty money back (even though they do not deserve it) but I want my phone. I also want them to pay the shipping fees.Business Response The quote received online is a sight-unseen estimate pending evaluation. Our website is very clear along with our terms and conditions he agreed to before sending in his device. All devices are inspected upon reception. The device [redacted] sent in for recycling was not in mint condition and the results of this inspection were taken into account when determining the current market value of the device.[redacted] is aware of how our process works as this is not the first time he does business with us. He has used our company two other times before this one. We are truly sorry to hear [redacted] was not satisfied with his experience with our company. Our records show that [redacted] was notified by email on 5-11-16 that the received device had completed inspection and that [redacted] now had 5 days before payment was issued. [redacted] did not call us within that period to refute the offer or request the return of the device. Payment was processed and issued as described in both our terms and conditions and inspection completion email. [redacted] did not abide with our terms and conditions and despite that we are did attempt to assist him on 6/6/16 when we spoke to him. [redacted] declined the additional offer made. We will be happy to honor that offer made on the phone. Please let us know if he would like that payment sent. We have not had any issues with our phones as they are tested daily, I an not sure what phone number he called. We appreciate his help in our efforts to resolve his complaint.Respectfully,[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)They are right, I am aware of how their process works;I was just not aware that they are a company of thieves. The only mistake on my part was not reading the countless negative reviews about the company before dealing with them. The other times I did business with them was when I sold a garbage, broken laptop (because I wanted to properly recycle the battery instead of throwing it in the garbag) and when I had an old iPhone given to me that I didn't need anymore. I received $10 each. I was unhappy with the money I received from the iPhone but I didn't make a big deal because I didn't need it. But here's the thing, $10 for a broken laptop, $10 for an old (but perfectly working) iPhone 4,and $10 for a near perfect condition Samsung Galaxy S5. That just doesn't add up. It seems like $10 is all they have to offer and intend on giving. Despite what they said, I did call the number provide THE NEXT DAY, even though I had 5 days to call. Guess what? I couldn't understand a thing they were saying. I tried again, same thing. They do it on purpose, countless other reviewers said they either had terribly long wait times on hold and we're forced to hangup, were told to try calling again, or were told they would be called back and never were. All I could here was static and a garbled mess. If they are such a good and honest company, tell me why they have an F rating and over 2,500 complaint on the Revdex.com website, why they are 1 star on site jabber.com, and why they have hundreds of terrible reviews on [redacted], [redacted], [redacted],and many, many other websites. Is it because all of their customers a wrong and don't know what they're doing like the company says? No, it's because they're a scam. They don't care about anyone but themselves. The terms gave me 5 days to call after the final quote. I tried to follow those terms by calling the first day, unfortunately, they abused those terms by not allowing me to contact them like they did to hundreds of others. You can follow the terms when the company does not do their part in helping you get your refund. I've done my research, and I speak on behalf of all the other customers that have been wronged to the best of my knowledge. They have already "recycled" my device so I would like the initial quote amount for it back. You've scammed enough people so I don't think $250 will be a problem for you guys to give. Thank you for your time Revdex.com, please grant me the justice I deserve. A few of my sources: [redacted]http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/cash-for-laptops-sparks-reno... Business Response [redacted] is asking us to pay him an amount that is more that what we quoted him. We are sorry we were not able to resolve his complaint.Respectfully,[redacted]Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Stop lying, you filthy mutt. Based on your reviews you cannot be trusted. You sm will be taken down

Sent my used IPhone to sell based on web purchase price of 92.00Found company on the web. Offered more than other sites for my used I Phone 5c. Offer was 92.00. Sent the phone in and after they reviewed the phone I received an e-mail saying the phone was worth 7.00. When I called they said the phone was in excellent condition but had a little wear on the body. They stated the 92.00 quote was only for an unused factory phone still in box. This is not what the site stated. I told them I was looking to sell my use phone. When I called today I was told that they disagreed with the decision and offered me 30.00This is blatant false advertising!!Desired SettlementI would like a fair price for the phone - If not the 92.00 then at least a close amountBusiness Response We are sorry to hear that [redacted] had a less than a satisfactory experience with our company.[redacted] called in and spoke with a member of our purchasing department on 8/18/16 and agreed to an offer made that now has been processed and paid. [redacted] had the option to accept the offer or request the return of her device as she was in her time frame. She accepted an offer. We do consider this matter resolved. We appreciate [redacted] feed backRespectfully,[redacted]

Sent in iPhone for cash. Company said iphone is not cleared by carrier([redacted]) I called [redacted] phone IS clear. Requested my phone & accessorie backI sent my iPhone in on 7/10/16. I was sent an email on 7/15 claiming "You are very close to getting paid for your iPhone 6 16GB [redacted], but we have a serious problemwith the ESN (aka IMEI number) on this device. Without your help, we cannot move forward at this point.A device with a "bad / blacklisted ESN" is a device which cannot be activated or resold for various reasons. There is most likely an open issue with your carrier, and you will need to contact your carrier so that they can clear your "Electronic Serial Number" (aka IMEI number).I called [redacted] on 7/16/16 and they claim the phone was clear and there is no hold on it. I responded via email on 7/16 and received an email 7/18 "Thank you for your email. I have sent a message to our warehouse to return your device to inspecting. Once inspection of your device has been completed, we will issue your payment after the 5th business day.Respectfully,[redacted] I received an email on 7/19 which stated the same request that was in the email of 7/15 claiming my iPhone may be stolen. I called and the service person stated that the IMEI number was not cleared I requested that they send my iPhone and all accessories back to me and I would pay for postage. The service person refused and said the iPhone was being sent for a complete inspection. At this point I believe they are a scam and hoping I will drop this as the phone was damaged.Desired SettlementI want my iPhone and all the same accessories returned to me. Business Response We have reached out to [redacted] in regards to his complaint and were only able to leave a message asking that he contact us back. We look forward to speaking with [redacted] this is a time sensitive matter and ask that he contact us as soon as possible. We appreciate his help in our efforts to resolve his complaint.Respectfully,[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I want them to return my iPhone 6 and all my accessories. The price they offered ($26)was not even close to what I could get on [redacted] for the accessories. The quote online is misleading that they will give you $125 for a damaged iPhone 6. I am waiting for them to return myiPhoneFinal Business Response [redacted]'s device was returned with tracking number [redacted] through [redacted] ground and as you can see it shows the expected delivery date is 8/3/16 by the end of the business day.We appreciate his help in our efforts in resolving his complaint.Respectfully,[redacted]Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)The iPhone 6 and all the accessories were finally returned to me. I will note that the advertising of this firm is misleading, which brought on the whole complaint. The ad provided a "quote" for my damaged phone of $124.00 based on factual knowledge of water damage. After they received it they a first claimed it was "stolen" as [redacted] had not released it. Then they offer $26.00. Revdex.com Thank you for your assistance in getting my phone back

I was trying to sell my old 1phone 4s 16GB, I searched several sites and chose www.cashforlaptops.com because they were offering $97.00for my phone. I registered & shipped my phone I-phone 4s 16GB which was in EXCELLENT condition & working fine in the original box along with the original charger & ear buds the next day. on Janurary 19th 2015 I received an emailtelling me "good news" I will receive a check for $14.00. I replied to the emailasking to be contacted & I was not satisfied with the $14 offer & wanted my phone back. I also went to the web site & clicked on thir customer service tab & sent them a detailed request to be contacted, I did not receive any reply from them. on 1/22/2015 not hearing ANYTHING I went back to the web site & sent another detailed request to be contacted again including all contact information relaying my dissatisfaction with the $14 offer. several days later I received the $14 check. I have not cashed the check because I do not agree with this extremly low payment compaired to the $97.00 offer. I would have kept that phone as a back up.Order_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like my i-phone 4s 16 GB back along with allthe accessories or the $97 I agreeded too.

Quoted value of laptop $700, they valued at $101. No instructions on how to refuse offer and receive laptop back. 11days after offer, still no pay.Reviewed possible websites to sell my laptop to. Cash for Laptops gave highest quote of $700. Sent in laptop on May 27th. On June 3rd, still had not received confirmation that package had been delivered. Contacted via e-mail again and was told to call in. Finally was able to speak with someone and was told that the package had still not been received by newgistics but was in transit. On June 9th received another e-mail stating that the package was being shown delivered by shipping carrier but they had not gone through all packages to verify receiving and would send an e-mail of confirmation when package scanned in. Received confirmation of delivery on June 10th. As of June 15th still had not received confirmation of review and offer to be made. Contacted company and was told that the inspection had been completed and to call in, but when I contacted them the inspection was completed for the 2 cell phones I had sent in with the laptop, which I knew were of no value. They stated the review of the laptop still had not been completed. Received confirmation of inspection and value of laptop on June 16th at 7:30pm. They stated the laptop was worth $101, $599 less that originally quoted. There was nothing wrong with the laptop, no scratches, was in perfect working order. There was no mention in the e-mail about how to contact them to refuse the quoted offer, just that I would receive my money after 5 days in my pay pal account. It is now June 27th -11 days later and still no money, nor return of my laptop. I have contacted them again but after reading the many reviews, which I should have done prior to sending, I am not confident that 1. they will give me a fair price or 2. return my laptop without a fight.Desired SettlementWould like them to raise quoted offer to at least $500 and receive my money within 1 week - not having to wait up to 2 weeks to receive. If they cannot raise offer to $500 would like my laptop returned at their expense.Business Response We are truly sorry to hear that [redacted] has a less than satisfactory experience with our company. Our process is explained very clear in our terms and conditions that she agreed to before sending in her device. I does state if she would like to refute the offer or request the return of the device she will have 5 days after the inspection completed email is sent. If there is not contact with in the time frame the payment will be sent.We will be happy to assist her with her account all we ask is that she contact us directly as she agreed to in our terms and conditions before sending in her devices. [redacted] has called 1 time returning our call, on her other 2 devices and we were able to assist her. Now her 3rd device has been completed and paid and we will be happy to assist her as well.We look forward to speaking with her.Respectfully,[redacted]Consumer Response Second e-mail submitted to company stating that I had submitted a complaint to the Revdex.com as no response or payment had been received. I informed them that I was requesting an increase the the offer of no less than $500 or return of my laptop. Message was sent at 8:45am EST. Received notification e-mail at 9:45am EST that payment had been submitted to my pay pal account for $101. Wanted to update you on what transpired after complaint was filed. Still would like increase in offer and/or laptop returned. If they wish to return laptop rather than offer increase I will return $101 submitted via pay pal as soon as I receive laptop back in my possession. I will not remove that money from my pay pal account until resolution can be reached for my complaint.Final Business Response [redacted] filing this complaint does not exempt her from the terms and conditions she agreed to before sending in her device. We have asked her to call and attempted to call her to resolve her complaint we are doing what he can to assist her.We have now been able to speak to [redacted] on 6/30/16 at 9:40 am PST and we were able to come to an agreeable resolution. We appreciate her help in our efforts to resolve her complaint. Respectfully,[redacted]Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I accepted their offer of $300 after completing research of what the computer was selling for online, although the offer of $300 was short of the selling prices I saw, I agreed to accept the offer. On a side note, I spoke with the complaints department yesterday at 12:45pm EST and was assured that my additional funds would be deposited into my pay pal account this morning. Upon checking my pay pal account they had not deposited the funds. I tried to login into my account with cashforlaptops.com and found that my account had been disabled and I was unable to reset my password to gain access. I had to e-mail them again stating I would not resolve this complaint until they held up their end of the agreement. Amazingly, upon opening I received my deposit. I still feel this is a very, very shady company and even if they hadn't disabled my account I would never have used them again. I have learned my lesson and will make sure to complete a more thorough investigation of any company that I do business with over the internet.

I was quoted to receive $185 for both of my cell phones and when I sent my cell phones in, I was told I would get $27. This was two weeks after I sent the items in, and they were in the exact condition that I was quoted for. When I called I was told I could get at most $60, I feel this was a scam and I would like my full amount requested.Product_Or_Service: Selling old cell phonesDesired SettlementI would like the full $185 quoted to me. Business Response The quote received online is a sight-unseen estimate pending evaluation. All devices are inspected upon reception. The device [redacted] sent in for recycling was not in mint condition and the results of this inspection were taken into account when determining the current market value of the device.[redacted] replied to the Inspection completed email , we replied to her email after calling her and not being able to reach her. We also left a voicemail asking her to call back. [redacted] called us back on 7-6-16 and she was transferred to a supervisor where she agreed to an offer made. [redacted] could have had her devices returned however she agreed to sell the devices on the call. We will not be paying the full sight unseen quote as the devices were not in mint condition.[redacted] accepted the supervisor's offer for both devices. All of our calls are recorded.Respectfully,[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)It still was not fully explained to me why I was so grossly misquoted and no where on the website or the email does it say anything about the device being in mint condition nearly out of the box, your website advertises the devices being purchased as used. You are falsely advertising and not being honest. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)No, this is not sufficient and I still consider your process misleading to costumers. I will not be satisfied until I am given the full amount quoted. Otherwise, you should not put such misleading quotes on your website. I doubt I a the only person who has complained about such misleading verbiage. Final Business Response We are will not be paying the full sight unseen quote as the devices were not in mint condition. [redacted] agreed to a payment that was processed . We consider this matter resolved.Respectfully,[redacted]

This is a typical bait and switch scam that is clearly against the law and covered under the Consumer Protection Act. I was quoted one price for my phone and then offered much less. I was quoted $138 for a mint condition iPhone 5s. I shipped the phone in the original box with all accessories. Several days later I received an email offering me $9 for my phone. I replied to the email stating please return my phone, I reject the offer. I also called the company and spoke to a representative she acknowledged that the offer was very low and that the reason was they claimed my iPhone had pressure damage. She said that she would see if she could find me a better offer. She placed me on hold then offered me $45. I told her that I disagreed with their claim for "pressure damage" and I reject their offer, and please return my device. I then googled reviews for this company and saw that this same scenario has happened to numerous other consumers which is unfortunate. Order_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like to be compensated for the original estimate of $138. I would also like for this company to stop trying to scam consumers using the bait and switch but I highly doubt that will happen. I will do my part as a consumer and inform others about my experience with this corrupt company. Business Response We are truly sorry to hear that [redacted] is not happy with our process that she agreed to before sending on her device. [redacted] device was returned to her at no cost to her in accordance to our terms and conditions. We consider this matter resolved. We appreciate her feed back.Respectfully,[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)It is not the process that I am unhappy with, it is the fact that the company gave me an initial estimate of $138. This company is not fulfilling their part of the agreement, offering me $9 for my device claiming that it has "pressure" damage, which is subjective, is unacceptable. When I called to get more information the company automatically increased my offer with no further inspection of my device, why? In order to properly resolve this matter, I am requesting that his company honor their portion of the agreement and provide me with a reasonable offer based on their initial estimate in the amount of $138. To date, I have not received my device. Final Business Response We will not be paying anything for a device that has been returned to [redacted] as she requested at no cost to her in accordance to our terms and conditions. The device was returned in the same condition it was received in.The device has been returned to her and was sent back through UPS ground. The tracking number is [redacted], she is welcome to keep an eye on the device until it reaches her home. All devices are inspected upon receiving them. That is why we allow the 5 day time frame in case our seller does not want to sell it. This is all explained in our terms and conditions. We have returned her device as she requested at no cost to her and do consider this matter resolved.Respectfully,[redacted]

I was mis-lead on the amount of money I would receive from sending them my iphone 4S.I upgraded my iphone and my daughters iphone and wanted to get cash for our old iphone 4S. I was quoted an amount that was acceptable to me so I went ahead and sent it in. 3 weeks later I receive an email from them saying they are sending me a check for $8. This was a total scam. I have done this with another company in the past that was legit and should have gone with them again. This company is fraudulent, deceiving and a complete scam.Desired SettlementI would like the amount they quoted me for both phones, which was $246 or I would like both of the phones back.

Very deceptive business
Received quote of 200.00 , but received a payment of 16.00

On April 6, 2015, I searched for quotes for three [redacted] Tablets that I no longer use. The company sent a quote of $309.00 and now is offering $51.I received a quote from the company for $309 for three tables, one which was brand new and never out of the box. The other two were lightly used because I kept buying newer models. The offer that wass sent wass $51 for all three models so I called to inquire. The supervisor claimed all three had scratches which is impossible because the two that were in use had protectivee covering added at the time of purchase and the third wass never taken out of the box.I had concerns almost immedaitely because I made sure the units were sent that afternoon and the company did not acknowledge receiving the units for more than two weeks. The sent an invalide tracking number and claimed the packages were in transit, which made no sense at all.Desired SettlementAt this point I simply want what wsa promised or the threee units back. But considering the behavior of the company thus far, it would be hard to believe that they would sent the original models back to me. The agreed upon quote was $309 which I felt was low but I accepted anyway and that should have allowed the company a sufficient profit upon re-sale

I had never heard of LDR LLC until fraud alert with my bank declined a suspicious charge to my banking account for $500.00+. Thank goodness they caught it. I happened to be out of town and was very inconvenienced as it was recommended that my card be shut off and replaced. From all the negative reviews, think twice about doing business with this bunch.","neg-6

This company is a joke. Offered me initially $240.00 for my month old Google chromebook, then got a quote on a Fri for $33.00 through email. Called on following Tuesday and they told me I Cldnt get my computer back, that I had 3 business days to respond. Reminded them sat/sun were not business days but they wld not budge. Wound up offering me $66.00 had one choice but to accept since they Wldnt giv me my computer back. This company is a joke and would never recommend them to my worst enemy. Very unsatisfied customer. I want my device returned to me but this company refuse to send it back even though I OKd it.I want my device returned since the company changed their offer after review ($477 to $72). The laptop was given as a gift brand new but I have no use for it and since I dont sell things professionally I decided to use their services. I want the device returned and they know I want it returned but they want me to call them but I'm work at the times they want me to call.Desired SettlementHave them OK the return. I just want my device back... I do not want to deal with this company any more.Business Response [redacted] filed this complaint with no attempt to contact us directly by phone as agreed to in our terms and conditions before sending in the devices. We are truly sorry to hear that [redacted] had a less than satisfactory experience with our company. We contacted [redacted] on 6/22/16 at 12:47pm PST, we were only able to leave a message asking that she contact us back. [redacted] has not returned our call yet.We have also replied to 4 of her emails asking her to call as expressed in our terms and conditions. We are doing all we can to assist her with this matter. All we ask is that she contact us directly so we can do so.We look forward to speaking with her and appreciate her help in our effort to resolve her complaint.Respectfully,[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)As I previously explained im at work during those hours. Im not at a job where I have free time to call. Nor do I have a chance to take time off to call.Emailing company to request return takes less time than a call for the same end result.PS. Its [redacted] not [redacted]Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Dont get why its so hard to honor a request to send something back? From reading all the complaints and reviews/comments from other people i'm beginning to see why. If a company keeps behaving the way this company does with so many complaints... I dont see how they can see my point of view.Final Business Response We have attempted to assist [redacted] PHAN with her account however she refuses to contact us directly to allow us to do so. We have asked her to call us in this complaint also. We are doing all we can. [redacted] PHAN filed this complaint looking for a resolution that we are attempting to give however she will not allow us to.If [redacted] PHAN changes her mind and would like to speak with us we will be happy to assist her.At this time there is nothing more we can do we are sorry we are not able to resolve her complaint. I am not sure why she is refusing to contact us directly as she agreed to in the terms and conditions before sending in her devices. We look forward to speaking with her if she would like.Respectfully,[redacted]

My device was stolen by this dishonest company. My laptop was brand new but they only offered to pay 1/6 of what it was worth. Unfortunately I did not write down the model number of the device. But it is a brand new Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-531. I sent it to Ecycle Best after they quoted me $168. Technically it's worth more than that, but I decided to accept that price because it was pretty close. They later emailed me saying that they would be sending me a $30 check, also adding that they are paying everyone that price for the same advice. It's absolutely ridiculous to offer that amount for a brand new device. I would like the $168 that they initially quoted, or my device sent back to my home. Desired SettlementI want them to send my device back or pay me what the laptop is worth.Business Response [redacted] filed this complaint before contact us directly. We have now spoken to him on 9/1/16, and were able to come to an agreeable resolution. We appreciate his help in our efforts to resolve his complaint.Respectfully,[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)My device wss still worth more than $80. A nearly $100 dollar reduction just because I took the device out of the box is ridiculous. Also they lied about it having "light wear" on the keyboard. I barely touched the keyboard. I think this company needs to be shut down because they do not give people fair prices for their electronic devices. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)Well, there's nothing left to do now. They've already scammed me. Never again, though. Never again.Final Business Response We were able to speak and come to an agreeable resolution.Respectfully,[redacted]

I saw this website and decided to try it by turning in my old Toshiba Satellite C650d
The website indicated I could get up to $70 on fair condition; the laptop was old and had trouble getting to speed but the systems all worked, even with Windows 10
The laptop and all accessories were all working fine minus the the screen being a little hard to open but the screen was not damaged, only the hinge.
I sent it in thinking I could at least get $25-30 for it.
I got $6.
No explanation, no promised gift for sending it in withing 2 business days, no response to my email.
Its a scam company. Saying you can get up to $70 and only giving $6 is ridiculous.

Sell your cell is a scam company! they quote a price on the internet for selling your mobile phone. They give an idea of what they will pay given certain conditions... understand if it is not exactly as stated...if it was just close that would be good. They said my phone with a cracked screen, non working and broken battery is $160.00 when I sent the phone in they said it was worth $26!Something is wrong with that... wast of my time and could have sold the phone somewhere else for $145.00They are scam artists! Need to get put out of business!Desired SettlementI would like the amount or close to what they quoted. Just a scam company! Crooks! Put them out of business! Business Response [redacted] filed this complaint before contact us directly, we have now been able to speak with him on 8/9/16 and were able to come to an agreeable resolution in regards to this matter. We appreciate his help in our efforts in resolving his complaint. Respectfully,[redacted]

Summary:
This company quoted me $380 for my smartphone, then changed the quote to $56 once they received it. The phone is in like-new condition, absolutely zero damage or wear, and also functioning like-new. Definitely seems like an intentional scam. See below for full explanation.
On or about 09/02/2016 the CashForLaptops website quoted me $380 for a Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920T (64GB). I had done some shopping around prior to receiving this quote, and people were selling the same device, used, on [redacted], [redacted], etc., for $375 to $400, so the quote for CashForLaptops seemed about right. I fully expected to get as little as $300, but I decided it was worth the convenience of not dealing with [redacted] or other means of selling.
My device shipped on 09/09/2016, and according to the provided tracking information it was delivered on 09/14/2016 at 06:00PM. CashForLaptops finally emailed me to confirm receipt of the device on 09/17/2016 at 11:33AM. I felt like this was a bit slow, but not a huge deal.
On the afternoon of 09/20/2016 I received the final quote via email, which you can view at the end of this review, wherein they quoted me $56. I immediately went back on their website and selected the same device (SM-N920T), and their website still quoted me $380 !!!! I feel they're guilty of intentionally inaccurate & unethical tactics. As of this moment on 09/20/2016, this device, used, is still selling for well over $300.
By the time I get the device back the value probably will have dropped slightly, but mostly they've just wasted my time and tried my patience.
Completely unacceptable. I will never do business with this company again, and I will advise everyone I know to avoid this company as well.
