I was looking to cell my and my husband's used cell phones locally and found Ecyclebest. I entered our cell phone models (Samsung Galaxy S5 Active SM-G870A) into their website to determine the amount our phones could be purchased.The phones were in excellent working condition,the screens were completely undamaged, as well as, the hard outer casing. The website stated a possible value of $160 for each phone. I believed this to be a good deal so I sent them our phones for purchase. Upon the receipt of the phones I was offered $26 for one phone and $0 for the other. I found this to be unacceptable and believe that in no way this business offers the value of your phone for purchase. This leads me to believe that ecyclebest had no intention of ever making the highest offer that they say I could get for my phone on their website. It's a bait and switch tactic. On the ecyclebest website, I was quoted that my Galaxy S4 cell phone is worth $81. The phone was in great condition. I sent the original box, manuals and cords. The company is now telling me my device is worth $5. This is not the price I agreed on when I sent in my device. I have attempted to call the number in the emails I am receiving from the company and it always states "you are calling outside of our business hours."Desired SettlementI either want the $81 that I agreed to accept in exchange for my phone or the phone AND all of the original content I sent in with it. The company offers to buy iphones. Their online valuation of mine was $154. Their estimate was for a device in excellent condition. Based on my estimate the device is in excellent condition -- fully functional, no scratches, nicks, ...I shipped them the device. They responded via email that after inspection their estimate/offer was $12 without any justification for the reduction from $154. I called them to gain an understanding as to why the large decrease in the estimate -- they "responded" to my question with a new offer of $50. I refused and asked that they return the device, which they did. This is really just a bait/switch scam by the company on valuation of the electronic device. Their T&C's give you 5 days to reject their offer, and if you don't, they will pay you the offered amount and keep the device. I expect that others may miss the company's email and hence the 5 day window, and be stuck accepting their offer which is well below market value. Avoid this company.","neg-7

Seems more like a scam to me. The estimated amount for my laptop model (even in a broken condition was $31). When I sent in the laptop they said it was worth $4. I realize it's an estimate and not guaranteed, but when you obtain an estimate using such criteria (e.g. broken screen), the estimate should be much closer to the actual. And, there was no explanation as to why it was much lower. To make matters worse, they said they would send payment (to PayPal) within 5 days. It's been 9 days and still no payment. ","neg-5

This company advertised that they would give me $704 dollars for my used laptop. I put in the exact specs and everything and that was the total I was given. They do have in their terms that the actual amount you receive may be different and that once I send it to them it is theirs. I understand that, but what they offered to pay me was insulting and I think this is a very corrupt business. They offered me $111 dollars for a 3 month old Macbook Air. That is utterly ridiculous. I have an 18th month old iPhone 6 Plus 64 GB that I no longer use. I looked online to see if I could sell it. I came across cashforiphones.com and was quoted a price of $402.00. I took photos of the phone (both sides, back and front), packed the phone in a box immersed in newspaper and sent it them. After a long 2-week wait, I received an e-mail stating the value of my phone was only $29.00 as they claim the screen was protruding from the frame of the phone (my photos show it was not). I asked that they immediately return my device. I received it today (August 25, 2016) with the screen popping out of the frame. This was not how it was sent or received. I Googled this company and there are numerous complaints about very identical issues -- mint condition phones being sent to them and returned brokenProduct_Or_Service: iPhoneDesired SettlementI need them to either repair the damage they have done to my phone or send me a check for their initially quoted amount of $402.00. I was originally offered $203 for my used Iphone. Everything started great until they got my phone and offered me just $16Order [redacted].I have tried numerous times to reach someone since they will not return my phone unless I talk to a customer service rep.Problem is that you can't talk to one. Finally got to talk to someone today, and they tell me that my phone has been recycled. And there's nothing that I can do. They can not return the phone. So now I'm out.All I wanted was my phone returned to me as stated in numerous email since they would not communicate to me directly Desired SettlementAll I want is to be made whole. How this company is still legally in business is beyond me. I can only imagine the number of people that have made the exact same mistake as I did by falling for their scams. If LDR does not have a multitude of lawsuits being filed against them on a daily basis, it is certainly only a matter of time! In a nutshell, my negative experience was almost identical to what every other consumer has dealt with and mentioned in their complaints or reviews. Shame on ME for not doing more research and trying to see those reviews prior to sending them my devices, however, it is absolutely a lesson learned.
I filled out their online form, gave them the exact condition of my 2 iPhone 4S's, and was told I would receive a little over $100 for both, however, once I sent them the phones, they sent me a check for $16. I tried calling and emailing them to let them know I was not happy with that amount and wanted my phones back but they ignored both.

On their website they offord me $664 just to get me to send it to them then sent me an offer of $46. it took them 14 days just to inspect it.
