I am sorry to hear about the problems with your transmission, as I look in our history we have not seen this vehicleIt might be at the *** store at south Havanalet us know if we can help

The vehicle came in with a fuel related concerninitially it was thought to be water in the tank, however it determined to be an unknown contaminant as whatever was in the tank along with the fuel ate through the fuel line from the pump to the right side tank siphonThe contaminant ate through the plastic and what was clogging the fuel pump was the small fragments from the fuel line coming apartNone of this was a warrantable repair, the customer was asked to contact her insurance company for coverage to which she declined

I talked to my service adviser and he told me the customer had approved all repair at the same time except for spark plugs and the pulley, we did not know if the pulley was bad until we tore it down, I have attached the time and date when customer approved the work.PLUGS12/07/12:PM SEAN M [redacted] Part# Part description QTY Sale Core Extended NOTES---------------------------------------------------------------------------... I spoke with Mr [redacted] this afternoonI apologized for the way his service was handled and was able to discuss with him further that I didn't intend to come across as rude or condescendingI agreed to have Mr [redacted] bring his vehicle back in so that we could fix the oil leak and repair or replace the key fob as neededMr [redacted] agreed to allow us to help with the repair and has scheduled his vehicle to return for repair

The engine original engine had a cracked blockIt was brought in that wayWe have installed engines and removed engines for this customer due to him buying junk engines and bringing them for us to installWe installed the first engine at a charge of $We removed that engine and
installed a second used engine, provided by the customer, that needed some additional parts and gaskets adding $to the bill, for a total of $That is the current amount due as authorized by the customerThe work would not have been done had the customer not authorized the workI will reduce the bill to the original agreement of $500.00, but that is as much as I can doHad the customer not provided bad engines, a lot of this work could have been avoidedThank you for your timeDewayne N*** (In addition I have no messages from the customer)

The customer has taken delivery of his *** and I am not aware of any further complaints at this timePlease advise if there is anything additional I can do to be of assistance

The dealership is working with Mr*** on this vehicleEngines or engine components for this model year are not easily located FCA no longer supports parts for engine repairs and quality used motors are tough to findthe engine is installed and has moved to the next phase of repair
with Mr***'s permissionAs far as the advisor keeping contact with the customer this has been addressed with her and we can all agree that staying in contact with each other will help to resolve any issues

I am rejecting this response because: During the course of vehicle repair, I was not kept up to date to a decent standardOur initial service advisor left the company and I had to drive an hour commute to get a real answer on four separate occasions over the entire
month this debacle took placeWe were passed on to different service advisors and managers and no one could give us a same-day answerSecondary estimates magically included unrelated problems- if they needed to be fixed, so be it, however the vehicle's primary mechanical failures were related to the emissions systemThe exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pipe was replaced but the remainder of the EGR system was notTwo weeks later it failed during a business trip in which the vehicle was diagnosed at Larry HMiller in *** ***They concluded that the EGR cooler was ruptured and leaking into the diesel particulate filter and because the problem was overlooked and replacement of the parts not considered during the month of service downtime, the particulate filter reached a point of non-recoverable blockage and would have to be replacedNot only did my business lose a month of operations time including a major racing event in *** scheduled for late October, but the system requiring service was almost completely neglected- the EGR tube is a five minute fix, as we found out when having the service the vehicle ourselves two weeks later upon failure reoccurrenceWe had to provide all of our customers with estimated completion timelines that kept changing from two days to weeks while the vehicle was in for serviceWe even offered to go through the buy back process with *** during the time it was being serviced if if was going to be too much of a challenge for service centers to handle within reasonable amount of timeThe vehicle is the critical path in my business and the lack of competence and communication with a pretty pathetic end result was completely unacceptable.

when the technician looked at the vehicle it had codes for valve body in transmission so we had to replace the valve body to startwe have seen vehicles with these codes and the valve body by itself fixes the problemin this case it had further problems in the transmission that there is no way to
tellwe always do our best to go above and beyond to fix the vehicle in a timely and professional manner

I have called customer and left a message to call me so we can discuss the issue

CUSTOMER AND DEALERSHIP HAVE COME TO AN AGREEMENT FOR THE CUSTOMER TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN TO BE LOOKED AT FOR THIS ISSUE ON MONDAY 08/15/

This operation deals in LIES and Deceit, in order to get customers to agree to UNNECESSARY work.I had 'talked' to these people during the repairs and got nowhere.They LIED about what work was "Required" to be done and went on to state they never went near the EGR valve (again Lies), which NOW needs more repairs.Now, from this response. It seems the whole company is engaged in cheating the customers

Am rejecting because, there failing to admit, that there dishonest mechanic took advantage of me. Took $2300. From me and never fix the issue the point of taking my car to them was to find out why my car was over heating and just fix that problem. Not to fix anything else that could have waiting. There mechanic never notified me about a crack block till after we paid them $2300, and yet still not then. We didn't know anything about a crack till me and my mother complained and asked to speak to a manager which was (Ken). That's when Ken told us, the mechanic never notified anyone about the crack, and admitted that we should have been notified before any other work was done. So that's why I am requesting a refund and would love to speak with the owner of Larry H. Miller so they are aware of the type of people he/she has running there business. They totally toke advantage of a young kid and mother. Because like any kid or woman that I know, we don't know very much about cars. So to bring my car to a trusted dealership, I would think you wouldn't have done that and fix the problem.

I am rejecting this response because:The Manager has called me a couple of times. I did appreciate that. It also seems he got things moving forward again and then immediate progress was made, and it seems once [redacted] got involved again things just stopped yet again!![redacted] is a liar, flat out!!! I've caught her in so many lies, that I'm pretty sure she also lies to her co-workers as well to cover her butt. She's part of the problem and creating the issues in my opinion!She also NEVER WANTS TO LISTEN!!! So how could she know what's going on when all she does is talk, talk, talk, and works hard at not taking a breath to hear anything! On several occasions I've had to cut her off and say I need you to listen to me and understand what I want... Because she was on a different page.Thats usually about the time she says she doesn't like my tone and won't get be a manager even though she offers and she's rudely out me on hold a couple times for minutes at a time only to come back and ask if I'm willing to listen!??WE STILL HAVE A DISCONNECT!!!The engine that was in the [redacted] ran, turned over and was functional, just needed a bebuild... So EVERY PART NEEDED FOR THE NEW ENGINE WAS ON THE [redacted]!!!the engine also came with everything it needed, but some parts might not have been in as good a shape... So those parts where supposed to be swapped out.So the explanation given still doesn't make any sense?my last conversation with [redacted], one day the mechanic went home early not feeling well. Then the day after he called in. Then she said he test drove it and then left early again and then was hoping to do a 2nd test drive last Friday and that I might be able to pick up before the day was over? Then that I'd get a call no matter what?[redacted] even had the nerve to say they couldn't even do a real test drive because my plates where expired... The fact is, the plates weren't expired when it was brought in! I can't get plates without an emissions, and I can't get an emissions because THEY STILL HAVE IT!!i said what about a dealer plate? You guys are a dealership? She said it's illegal and not allowed?my phone got full overnight, till morning. I did see two missed calls and I immediately called her back in the am! I return all kissed calls even if the BJ was full...so the [redacted] disconnect saga continues and the dealership has made me miss my warranty period in the engine which I was promised it would be done by. Now I won't be able to put the engine through its paces because of it!The message also says move on things I've approved! Again I believe this is one more of [redacted]'s lies! I haven't approved of anything new! She just said they're waiting on doing a 2nd test run because it ran a little hot. Those engines run hot, which is why I told her like when I first had the car towed in, I have a cooler running thermostat that was supposed to be added...she knew nothing of that because again she doesn't listen!!!so here I am again in limbo... Can't make arrangements to have my old engine picked up since I have no idea when the car will be done and now there's been 5 promised delivery days that has been missed!!
