My Larson Storm door shattered for no apparent reason. I opened my front door with my 5 year old grandson & the glass shattered.
The problem occurred on *** and I purchased the storm door on ***. The door cost around $*** and the installation charge for the door was $***. I paid with a credit card.The order number was *** and the part number for the shattered glass is part number ***. I have serious concerns regarding the Larson Storm Glass door. It shattered to many pieces. I opened my front door with my 5 year old grandson right beside me and the glass on my storm door shattered. It was a little scary but we are both okay. I quickly went to the internet to research and I discovered this has occurred frequently with the Larson Storm Door but there had been no recalls. This is a tragedy waiting to happen. I reached out to Larson Door Manufacturing on ***, but they stated they could not help. Either there is a problem with their Larson door or I was sold a defective door. They owe it to all of their customer's safety to resolve this issue.
I am looking for a refund or replacement of the Larson Storm Door.

Larson doors are awful. Do not waste your money. The quality of the product is poor and there customer service is horrible. I had a screen that lasted less than 1 summer with puckering and bowing of the screen. I tried to get a replacement and they refused.
I would not purchase another Larson storm door even though they are supposedly highly rated, reason being I was currently going thru a warranty issue with them,& they basically try to scare you off with their value of a replacement door versus what you can purchase @ ***.
I won't be buying any more LARSON products. The quality is junk, their replacement policy is nothing--they expect you to fix the product yourself
! Purchased a storm door a little over a month ago. Screen is junk. Has already ripped off 2 sides of the door!! The glass protecting the screen has hardly been open, maybe a total of 5-7 times!!! The screen material is very cheap looking and inferior quality to say the least!! Now I'm stuck with a broken screen or I have to pay someone else to come and fix it for me and add that much more to the cost of the product. Thought Larson was supposed to be such an excellent quality product!! No thank you!!
