Hughes apparently does not have a way of halting direct withdraw from account which is a huge security issue
My account was tied to my PayPal account and there was an unauthorized transaction and Hughes is refusing to halt the transaction and I cannot dispute it until the transaction has been madeUNACCEPTABLE!

I called today to make the first payment on my motorcycle loan, the rep refused to give me my account number so I could make a payment or take a payment , stating I didnt have the security codeseriously, you ppl need to get it together, the dealer made the loan through you I never recieved an acct number, you cant seem to figure out how to mail a bill or take a debit card payment over the phone, its not anymorelooks like I will be driving miles to tucson to pay my loan off in its entirety, you get no business from me or any of my clients!!!!

Horrible company I sold my vehicle which had a loan with Hughes They received the payoff from a local Tucson dealership Not a flight by night dealership one of the big local dealerships The payoff was received on 2/and when I called on 2/I was told they had business days to issue the lien release Hughes claimed it was 7/business days after they received the check yet the DMV representative disagreed it should have already been processed since they know it could take a day to process with DMV When I called Hughes to complain I was told the only way they issue a release the same day is if I brought in cash Not a cashiers check or counter check only green backs! I said really so you want me to ask the seller to pay in cash so I can walk in with over $7k in cash, REALLY! After a lot of complaining and us having to provide proof the check had cleared they agreed to issue the lien release It has now been 5/hrs since we were told the lien release was sent electronically but DMV says no it has not been received I even went to get a paper lien release and after arriving back at DMV was told since it was an electronic title a paper lien release would not work You would have thought that the Hughes representative would have known that On top of which when we arrived the desk clerk stated oh is that why "he", the rep, has been calling me I was told it was already done and waiting for me only to arrive and find it not done, which was a total waste of time because they knew if it was an electronic title a paper lien release would not work Will never use Hughes again, and will pay off our second loan there within days to avoid having to do any further business with them HORRIBLE!!!

Hughes has reported me to credit bureaus as late without notifying me of the issue
My truck was tattled in january 2016, insurance paid $11,leaving a balance of approximately $5,I continued to pay the monthly payment on or shortly after the due date over the automated phone systemThe automated phone system does not apparently account for a late payment assessment (less than days) so each month they were counting my payment as late but I was never notified of a deficit in my paymentsI gladly would have paid this as I don't want my credit harmedHughes has been negligent as a financial institution in notifying customers of payment fees and other assessmentsI feel this is an absolutely unfair business practiceI feel if a bank is performing banking services, they should notify clients of any deficit paymentstheir phone pay system never notified me of any deficitI have my bank statements showing regular payments on timethis bank seems to be a predatory lender in

If I could provide a negative rating I wouldNoone seems to be able to provide information to allow me to make a paymentI feel as if its a scheme to collect on late fees and make people defaultI have attempted multiple calls, voicemails, was promised multiple call backs and submitted multiple emailsI wish I had never gone through this companyHorrid service and inept representatives and zero ownership that the website is complete garbageCustomer service is not equipped to handle general concerns and can not help with information to make a payment
I'm at a loss and all I want to do is pay this company what I owe...but they seem to want people to be late on purpose

Very easy to work with when you get a loan, because they make money on thatTry to pay it off and get your title, well they don't care and don't have mechanisms in place to do itAfter two days of working with Hughes and a member branch and around ten phone calls, I was told I can't get my title for ten days, even though they told us we could get it electronically in a few hours
I will never use Hughes again, and I recommend others avoid them as well

Dear Hughes Federal Credit Union Branch Manager,
I have contacted Hughes Federal Credit Union on several occasions to unlock this account to make a payment in a sizable amount however this matter is still unresolved
I requested to make a payment by phone and they are unable to take a payment as the account is lockedReferred me to an "account specialist" who should be able to take payment by phone and assist me furtherThis was not the case
I spoke to HFCU "account specialist," *** *** who offered to accept a lesser payment but I just wanted to make a payment to bring account current, not a reduced paymentI advised I would make a payment by phone however she refused to take payment by phoneShe stated I needed to go to the Shared bank

Account had $taken out for "INACTIVE DORMANT FEE" Without my knowledge or consentI have been with this bank for over 10yr & never had this happen

What gives? This bank is untrustworthy with customer monies

Improperly reporting to credit bureaus
Vehicle loan was included in a chapter bankruptcy Chapter was completed and Hughes received every penny, plus interest they were due on the loan Hughes started reporting late payments,even though we never made a late paymentThe trustee began making payments after the bankruptcy was confirmed Hughes gave us the title to the vehicle after it was paid off, yet they report to the credit bureaus $due to them and written off This is negatively impacting my ability to qualify at the best rates for a home loan I have contacted a lawyer and he has told me they have broken the law in the way they report loans involved in bankruptcy, and they are completely wrong that they are owed any money at all If this isn't resolved, we will file a lawsuit

Financial malfeasance
Hughes FCU is stating that my check dated 3/18/for $was returned unpaidThis is a lieI comforted with my Hawaiian Islands checking account that is was cleared and paidAmerican SavingsCheck *** Hughes also charged me $in late and returned check feesThey always transfer the call to a mythical '***' voicemail that never gets returnedWhenever you call Hughes, you are automatically placed on hold for minutesThey answer nothing, the reps say there is no one else to speak with, the reps hang up the call at willHughes needs to be examined by the proper authorities
All I want is my account credied $

So, i've literally been on the phone for hours withing a day periodAll I want to do is pay my billI get passed on from person to personThey deactivated my online pay and nobody can fix itand now they're making it so I am late on my billAbsolutely horrible customer serviceTo top it off, i've left voicemail after voicemail and email after email and not one of them have been returnedIt's like they are purposely setting me up to be late so they can make money on my late feesIf you can, avoid this organizationAbsolutely horrible company
