Leavenworth Shuttle & Taxi's

Review: We called Leavenworth Shuttle & Taxi as they are the ONLY taxi service in Leavenworth. We used them two other times during our stay. The last time we needed them (and the most important) they failed to show up. They told me to call and confirm my reservation the night before, which I did. We needed to catch the only train out of town early the next morning. When they didn't show up on time I waited about 15 mins and called them. it sounded like I woke the driver up. When I asked if he was going to come get us, he hung up on me. I tried several times to call back he did not answer the phone and then some time later when I tried again, it rang straight through to voicemail. Needless to say, we missed our train and it was sold out for the next several days. We had to take a city bus to the next town so that we could rent a car to get home. I have emailed them, to which they said they would pay our additional costs, yet have not heard from them since. I would like to get this resolved as this experience has left a very bitter taste in my mouth for ever wanting to visit Leavenworth by train again. If the only taxi company in town is this unreliable, I will never visit again unless I choose to drive myself.Desired Settlement: I would like Leavenworth Shuttle to follow through with paying our additional costs of $175 for us to get home from that trip.

Review: I am very upset with this "taxi" company. I have called multiple times after drinking to get a taxi ride home and they never show up, I'll call back to ask where they are and they get angry for calling and still never show up. This is happened to me alone quite a few times and I heard they do this to a lot of other people. They very few times they have picked me up for a taxi ride they are atleast an hour late from when they said they would arrive. I am very mad they can be causing people to get DUIs because they never show up. I feel if you are going to have a taxi service and might I add they only taxi service in town and for miles you should do your job and they do not.Desired Settlement: I hope they start being a real taxi service and pick people up that call not just say they will.
