I have been having the most disheartening and distressing of experiences with this company! I ordered an office desk over a month agoThe first order was defective; the second was the wrong color; and the third delivery never made it! In my utter disgust I requested a refundI was told it was being processed; then that it had to be investigated; next that I would receive my credit to the account it was taken from; and lastly that I would receive it via mail!!! Never was this communicated to me until now I have never been treated so poorly by a company that prides itself on overall great products and services as well as customer service! The loss of productivity and a still empty office is utterly ridiculous! Shame on you Office Depot for treating your customers this way!!

I purchased a speaker online through Office Depot While the speaker sounds great, is easy to setup via Bluetooth and looks to be of solid construction, I was able to find the same "Exclusive to Office Depot" one in pink at a local store, MIUCH cheaper BEFORE ordering this one online, if there is even a small chance that you might return it, BEWARE In chatting with an agent online before I placed the order I clearly asked if I could return it in store if I wasn't happy with it YES, he's says, no restock fee or anything I received the speaker today, but in the mean time I have found it in the store on clearance fore $ So I bought that one in store and choose to return the one that arrived (a day late, by the way) today I chatted again, just to make sure I wasn't going to make a wasted trip, and this buy says NO, I'm sorry you can't return an item in the store that the store doesn't carry thereâ ¦ HELLO, I just bought one there OK, that's fine, I'll return via mail, it's not the end of the world I go to print the return label, its for a third party pickup I've got to hand it off to a third party, no way to track the package and wait for my refund that way Not only does this leave me feeling uneasy, I'm gong to have to stay and WAIT on someone to pick up the package (between X:XX - X:XX) on approx 1/ Ummm, I workâ ¦ I can't sit around and wait for someone to receive the package! The online return policy states that you can return items in the store No where on the product page does it say that returns have to be handled online but the 'chat staff' says no So I have to wait until Monday for someone to call me to pick up this product I felt ok checking beforehand about buying this product, but since I've received the product hours ago I 've been given the run aroundI will jump through their hoops and return both speakers and purchase them some place else and I will have washed my hands of Office Depot!

I am writing this review as numerous phone calls and emails have gone unanswered It is my belief that my credit card was compromised immediately following an online purchase with Office Depot Oddly enough, in my order, I had to use an alternate phone number as my phone broke Forty-eight hours after ordering from Office Depot, I got a call from another company wanting to verify an order they thought I placed The phone number they called was that alternate/temporary number I used for my Office Depot Order I have been trying diligently to contact someone at Office Depot After numerous calls and being sent to a myriad of wrong departments, I was finally sent to supposedly the correct person's voicemail So far, no return calls from anyone at Office Depot I've followed up, and their operator just puts me in more voicemails And still, no response I am trying to inform them that there may be an issue with the security of their site Yet, they have ignored Shame!

I bought an office chair for dollars that was supposed to be a good quality chair according to the lady that sold it to me, and bought it online through the storeI received it on Tuesday 8/30/as promised but when I pulled it out of the box it was the worst and cheapest quality I had ever seenI took it back to the store right away and I was told I had to send it back and later receive my money back as soon as the store would receive the money backEven though I brought the receipt and the chair in the box as spelled out in the receipt I COULD NOT GET my money back right awayThe manager had the worst customer service skills, and ignored my complaints I was very dissatisfied with the products and service givenI will not recommend this place to anyone

We have bought our office supplies from OM for over years but since the OM/OD merger the customer service has been horrendous It took from November to March to get a refund picked up, now I have a credit memo but no one can tell me if I can apply it to an existing invoice I have been told times over the past month that they cannot get me to the finance department to talk to someone there I have been told times that it will have an expedited ticket and someone will get back to me in 24-hours I have spent over minutes on the phone with each call with no call back.Your call center staff, if you can understand them, do not have the necessary tools to assist in anything I've not talked to a Terika; Lucia, and Jessica I have other names I have talked to regarding the original returnI have another credit memo and don't even want to get started on that one Sorry but you have lost our business I would NEVER EVER recommend OM/OD to any business The frustrations are too large and I will be contracting Trium who does the contracting with them to take them off their lists

I ordered a new laptop and microsoft office for a holiday gift When it arrived I noticed that office was for MAC and took it to a retail outlet to exchange for the appropriate operating system They advised me I would have to contact Office Depot online I contacted them and they emailed me a label for UPS pick up however UPS did not pick up the article on they day I was told they would I took it to a UPS pick up location and notified Office Depot Online Customer Service The tracking # ( provided by Office Depot) shows that the article was delivered on December 19th, however No refund has been provided by this company I have followed up twice with them in the weeks since they received the return and still they delay and advise they "wil look into it"

I visited Office Depot today and purchased approximately $worth of office suppliesWhen I checked out I reviewed my receipt and saw that two notebooks, each regularly priced @$8.49, but on sale for $13.00, were listed on the invoice at the $price each, with a deduction of approximately $since I had given the cashier a $off couponBottom line, I paid about $each for the notebooks, and had I not used the $off coupon, I would have paid $each (i.e, for $13.00, remember?)When I confronted the store manager, he agreed and told me I could go back through the line (about a minute wait to get the $I had coming to meI told him that it wasn't the money, but the fact that Office Depot was not going to correct the problemAs I left, I looked back at the manager and asked "You aren't going to correct the problem, are you?" He just turned and walked awayLet's see, $X 100,customers = $100,000, or a pretty penny saved by Office Depot, even though it is fraud, just another type, that's all

We have used Office Depot for large office supply orders for a few years nowThis is by far the worst experience#1: When you put an entire order in on-line, it breaks it up on it's own and decides when, what pieces and how each part is either being delivered or need to be picked upThe Chat line constantly puts you on holdWhen I call customer service to check on order status (because when I pull up order status on line, the website says one thing but the phone agent says another) I have to start all over with each of my issues/callsThe last phone agent could not hear me at all and I could hear all the noise in her background, so that conversation was horrible Each agent has said some of the most un-intelligent statements I have ever heard in my life "It has been delivered, that is why you received it." What? My bank statement has many charges pending which is freezing up fundsThe Order Tracking page is 100% inaccurate than what has really occurred with this orderI received a call from an agent to let me know someone else is going to callThe list goes onI highly recommend to never use any on-line services offered by Office Depot

I came to the Office Depot in order to laminate a piece of paper about 17"x14", the staff laminated the paper and charged me a total of $for square feetI was suspicious and went to another store to recheck the price and the staff at that store said the price should only be about $for square feetI called the store back for a refund and the same staff kept insisting that she only performed the same procedures as she was taught and lied that the manager went home for the dayThis poor level of training and professionalism is simply unacceptable for a well-known corporationIf an employee can messed up a simple task such as lamination and over charged the customer over $40, then the consequences of the future, more complex actions might be unimaginableThe manager of the store apologized but seem absolutely insincereThey did not even refund the full amountThe customer service experience I had at this store is genuinely horrendous

Office Depot closed stores in and will continue with cutbacksC-Level's "excuse" is ever-challenging and increasingly competitive e-commerce
If you look at a majority of the reviews for this company, you will see the bottom line issue is customer service, or lack thereofAs many before us have commented, the customer service at Office Depot is deplorable, the worst, from an extensive corporate background, this is a perfect example of an impending failure
We have spent more than an hours online and on the phone trying to, 1) submit a return and, 2) correct an overchargeAs much as I enjoyed my "visit" to the Philippines, the Office Depot Filipino customer service representatives are discourteous and rudeThose negative character traits range from refusing to answer the simplest questions, literally ignoring our questions to disconnecting us when we phoned their Filipino service center
The actual time to resolve what should've been a very simple issue required all total more than hours of our valuable, irreplaceable time
In summary:
1) bank card was charged additional charges over and above, AFTER the transaction and despite an invoice documenting the original, agreed upon, lesser charges
2) After more than hours of online and phone disconnects as well as discourteous, unresponsive (would not answer very simple, very valid, very pertinent questions) we HOPEFULLY have resolved an aggravating, highly stressful and annoying issue HOPEFULLY resulting in a full refund against a returned product
This is a legitimate, valid complaint backed by copious notes and detailed documentation from the very beginning of the initial transactions with Office DepotWill we shop at Office Depot in the future? Unequivocally and assured, NOAcquiring administrative support supplies can't be this stressful

The Office Depot has provided me with the worse service I have ever experienced with an office supply storeI made a purchase online, I went into the store in Severna Park, MD, was informed that was the wrong product and they would cancel the orderWell, that never happened and the wrong item was deliveredI was contacted at least times saying the HAD TO SEND SOMEONE TO THE HOUSE TO PICK UP, I COULD NOT DROP OFF AT THE STOREWell, after missing work, spending hours on the phone, I advised the rep that I was taking it back to the storeI returned the item to the store in Severna Park, MD, an African America male was on the register and Sonya, The Manager came an issued an overrideI was assured that I would receive the credit and they apologize for all the trouble we were put throughWELL, ON 12/28/I RECEIVED MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT AND THE CHARGES ARE STILL THERE, NO CREDIT ISSUEDTHE STORE MANAGER SAID CONTACT CORPORATE OFFICESONYA GAVE ME THE NUMBERI CALLED AND WAS INFORMED THAT OFFICE DEPOT STOPPED THE CREDITTHEY WILL NOW HAVE IT INVESTIGATED EVEN AFTER THE STORE REQUESTED A CREDIT, WHICH MEANT I TOOK THE ITEM IN WITH THE FORMSTHEY STORE CANCELLED THE CREDITNOW I HAVE A REFERENCE NUMBER FOR ANOTHER COMPLIANT TO ISSUE THE CREDITREFERENCE NUMBER # XXXXXXXXTHE SAD THING IS, IF I DIDN'T LOOK AT MY STATEMENTS, I WOULD HAVE GIVEN OFFICE DEPOT $I DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT AND THEY WOULD HAVE KEPT THE MONEYTHAT IS OFFICE DEPOT STEALING FROM MECOMMITTING FRAUD

This company is the worst for ordering items to get shipped to your businessA chair was ordered and a date for arrival was given which they did not meetWhen calling, you get a call center that just issues a service # to escalate the problem and they promise a call backAfter of these with no call back and me checking on it everyday for days and just getting new service #'s and no item shipped to me, we cancelled all business with them in the future and just used AmazonThey couldn't explain why deadlines weren't met or where my item was or why it took over a month to receive a chair they had in stock that I paid extra to have within two days

I have been trying to return a defective product to Office Depot for almost exactly one month I got return authorization quickly, but UPS kept going to the wrong location for pick up After confirming the correct address several times, and UPS continuing to go to the wrong location, I asked if I could take the item to UPS myself The rep told me they could send me a return label I have been trying to get that return label for weeks nowCustomer service is not helpful...they keep trying to arrange a pick up and I tell them that is no longer an option and that I want the label they told me they were going to send I spent hours trying to get this resolved I have asked to speak with supervisors to no avail I have finally reached out to the VP of customer service, and as yet have not heard back (not much time has elapsed)All I want is a label to return the defective product and the refund It has been very frustrating

Office Depot located right behind Westland Mall offers the best customer service everThe attention the employees take to their customers is superbI would always suggest to my colleagues that Office Depot is the best place to go No matter what! They are all intelligent with all aspect especially computersI always go to make copies and am handle accordingly , sometimes the wait could be better but the employees hand me a chair from their furniture section and I especially comfortableThe store manager *** *** has been so kind He always delivers with exceptional attitudeI also look forward to be serviced by Channel from the Copies departmentAlso, *** ** a floor employee always handles my supplies and technology questionsBest store in South FloridaThey all deserve raises! Also, the organization is outstandingI have been to many other Office Depot but this one is the neatest and cleanestExcept for the bathroomsbut other than thatWIll always come back

I was happy to find a product reasonably priced after Staples no longer carried it I ordered it online and according to the shipping information, it would be delivered between 8:and 5pm-- actually rescheduled my Dr appointment so that I could be here when it arrived I stayed home all day; and it is now 8:04pm-- no package The item is a file cabinet; too heavy for me to pick up or for that matter move around I may not be ordering from Office Depot again If the item does not show up in the next minutes, I WILL NOT be ordering from Office Depot again

I went to this store for the first time in hopes of finding a new desk and was so happy I found an amazing one that happened to be on saleWell got everything ready and when I went to checkout using a handheld card swiper it kept declining my cardEventually my bank notified me that they flagged it as possible fraud or whatever but I got it sorted out and returned to the store once again tried the handheld and it was declinedWe then moved to the register and it went right through no problemCheck my email the next day when I was told I could view my product/shipping info and I had an email stating my orders were canceledI have no idea why, and the money was NOT returned to my accountI've tried to get ahold of someone but with no luckSo not only am I out of this desk, i'm officially past the date of the sales, and the money in my bank accountI still have the paperwork and bank statements so after the holiday ill continue trying to get ahold of these people
