When looking for new carpet for our home, my husband and I decided to support local after feeling like just another customer at a national chain store. And I am glad we made that decision! Shay's was extremely responsive and timely with carpet installation. We are so grateful for the great customer service and quality.

Showtime Home Design completed a main floor renovation for us that included floors, kitchen, living room area, and laundry room and they did some additional work in a couple bathrooms. We are very happy with our choice of renovator/designer for the following reasons: attention to detail, very hard working, and they are relentlessly committed to completing projects on time and within budget.

We love our new kitchen floor. Installers were competent, polite and very professional. When we called to mention a slight imperfection, [redacted] the owner came and fixed it the very next day. We appreciated how fast the company responded and have had no other problems since! Highly recommended.

Showtime Home Design did the renovations on our townhome and I can't describe how wonderful it was to have them do our renovations. Don and Kathy were professional, knowledgeable and cost efficient, they helped us create a realistic plan and budget.
They stayed right on schedule and kept us informed throughout the whole process. The open line of communication they had with us was definitely an added bonus! We especially loved that their team was clean, respectful of our space and comfortable to be around.
After the HUGE success with our renovations, we will be turning to them for all of our future projects!

After listening to my previous negative experience with renos, Don and Cathy submitted a detailed estimate. The estimate was accurate and within $200, in our favor. Don and Cathy arrived to drive, listen and advise me in selecting products and colors. The schedule was minutely coordinated and once work began, moved quickly to completion. Don checked everyday to assure all my questions were answered and no misunderstandings occurred. Workers were on time, experienced, knowledgeable, pleasant and trustworthy. Workers cleaned, vacuumed everyday and were respectful of our environment. Looking back, work progressed smoothly,, in a timely fashion, because of the detailed selection/prep done before demolition began.

Our relationship with Showtime started when flood waters entered our house in 2013. We had been in our house for over 40 years - then suddenly our basement was full. We were devastated, we couldn't get our minds around what needed to be done... then Don [redacted] knocked on our door. He was so kind and understanding and he knew exactly what to do. He worked hard to find fixes we could afford, when he found deficiencies in the construction of our house - he fixed them. Everything he said would be done was done - on time and on budget. It was amazing. I never dreamed I would be thankful for that awful flood, but now when I need something done in the house I just call Don and Cathy [redacted] and know absolutely it will be well done, on time and on budget!

We had home renovations done, everything was completed on time and we are extremely satisfied with their services. Highly recommend to anyone looking to renovate and get someone professional, honest, hard working and very knowledgeable

The first time we engaged Showtime Home Design was soon after the Calgary 2013 Flood. They helped us put our basement back together and expertly guided us through the process. Showtime Home Design's execution of the project was exceptional with the trades. Since then, we have asked Don and Cathy [redacted] to come back time and time again. Currently, we are renovating our upper floor together. It has been a multi-phased project as we are living in the house and living with the reality of a budget. Aside from adding a bedroom and reconfiguring our master suite bathroom layout, Don and Cathy [redacted] have also helped us with the replacement of our front entry door, the leveling of our exterior walkway and construction of our deck. No job is too big or small for this dynamic duo.

Review: I Purchased A Few items From This Particular Furniture store. Two sets of bunk beds, three mattresses, akitchen table, and also an dresser drawer. Within four months the bunk beds started to have pieces break off, the ladders steps were loose and some off the steps had broken off. The dresser drawers closet door came off, the mattresses started to sink, (children ages are 15, 9,6 ) no weight issues. The chair in the kitchen pieces broken off. All within four months. I contacted legacy in which the owner was always so rude. But he was the nicest when I was purchasing the furniture. He stated bring in your receipt. I told him that I just wanted some of the things fixed he stated that I would have to bring them to the store, he's not obligated to get the items. I never have .Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: On 7/**, I purchased a dining room set and used my debit card as payment. About three weeks later, I received the dining room table I purchased, but received "loaner chairs" since the ones I ordered were on back order. This is when I found out they were on back order. I was not informed of this at the time of purchase. Legacy Furniture has provided several estimated times of arrivalfor my ordered chairs. However, as of today 10/*/15, they have not delivered my chairs. They are now going out of business, their "legal" department is dealing with the dispute my bank has opened, but I have not received a refund nor been able to get them to pick up the furniture they delivered since I have cancelled my order. The suggestion the manager gives me is to dispute it with my bank and that my bank has now credited me with the funds, but these funds are dependent on Legacy Furniture returning the $1,500 back to my account so I can return that amount back to the bank. It seems they are dragging this process out. Their contract says "prompt full refund of any payment made" but this is not the case.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund ($1,500) since Legacy Furniture did not hold up to their part of the agreement: they have not delivered me the items I paid for. I expect an immediate refund as more than considerable, since they've already had my monies since 7/**/15.

Review: I bought a room set furniture on 10/**/2015 when I saw it in the store I like it very much , they made the delivery about 10/**/2015, and I received a totally different room set , the paint was off , the screw were all out and the furniture was in really bad shape , I call in the store the name of this person is Diab, I explain the situation and I requested him to returned my money back and he refused , them he told me that we was going to change the furniture and for a new one and today is 11/**/2015 and he was not change the furniture at all , I call everyday and they have a new store every day , saying that today is going to be my delivery , them the next day and so on , I have been waiting to this furniture for 3 weeks and nothing has been done , even my daughter call today and she spoke with Johanna which is in account payable and she complain for my situation ,my daughter ask her for Diap last name which is the store manager , and Johanna refuses to give her his last name standing that she didn't know anyone last name on the place the she works , they have make a fraud , by saying that I was going to get a really good furniture and delivered something totally different , I paid 3000.00 dollar with my credit car in which I am in the process to make a dispute for this money , and I do not know if I will get this money back , don't buy anything form this people , thy are a scheme company .Desired Settlement: This people should be behind bar for laying to customer , I cannot imagine having more people decisive for this kind of company that the only thing they want is to have easy money .

Review: I financed a set of couches and a recliner at this business, the finance amount was for the total $3000 and I had to put down $466.88 with my debt card. the first issue was the delivery took much longer than expected it took over a month to receive the merchandise, then when they finally arrived they were the wrong color, I asked for black they delivered red ones the recliner was not the material I asked for. I let them know that I did not want them because that was not what I had paid for the entire delivery was wrong. I was told to keep the recliner till they corrected the issue, this being because I had already got rid of my old ones and had no couches to sit on. I was told that in a week I would receive the correct ones. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but more than three weeks had gone by and nothing was done, I was continuously told the next week my problem would be solved but it was not. I was being given the run around. I told them to cancel the order because I was so dissatisfied and I went else where to purchase my couches. I wanted a refund and for them to come get the recliner they left behind. The bank has already began to call me and request payment on the finance. I called the store and also went there three times and asked how long it would take to get the refund because now they have both the money and the merchandise and are giving me the around in order to get the refund. My order was placed in August here we are in November and I'm still being given the run around all the merchandise has been returned and I have been left with nothing but a loan that needs to be paid for merchandise I don't even have and my deposit of 466.88 has not been returned as of yet either..Desired Settlement: I want my money back and the finance credit to go back to the bank so that I don't go into debt over a financing loan in which I have neither the money or the merchandise to show for it.

5-Store manager advised the customer that she will not be able to cancel because it's a special order , but If she.decided to do so she will be cha rged 35% restocking fee a nd the rest will be store credit

Review: we order sofa n loveseat from the catalog on 7/*/2015 and paid $2300.78 cash ,they did not let me take picture of the sofa from catalog to saw to my children. At the end when I paid in full he okay to take pic. when I came home ,my family did not like the sofa , next day 7/*/2015 I called to cancelled the order-reply from the store ,owner is not in the store .next day talk to the ganeral manager/owner DIAB personnelly and ask him that" since we cancelled the order

within 24 hrs please refund our money back.

The owner DIAB totally refuse to refund our money by giving poor excuse that our order was special order.

but what we ordered was directly pick from catalog. it means we did not pick special fabric n did not ask them for custom made.Desired Settlement: we need our money back

Review: My complaint is against Legacy Furniture. The store employee ([redacted]) asked to run my credit to see how much I would get approved for but in actuality he placed orders for everything that I looked at in the store. I was deceived by the sales person because I did not authorize any purchases.Desired Settlement: I would like for the order I never authorized to be canceled and a credit applied on the store card so that no balanced is owed. Once that is done, I can cancel the store card because I will never do business with this company and I do not want any connection to them.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[I do not accept the response given from Legacy Furniture. The order was not canceled the next day as the business is trying to say. Besides reaching out to the Revdex.com in September, I contacted the store card Home Furnishings and reported a dispute about the charges made and also reached out to the Consumer Protection Bureau for help. Consumer Protection was already aware of how Legacy Furniture did business because they have been contacted about them before. Legacy Furniture was contacted by Consumer Protection and given a chance to take care of the complaint made by myself but they chose not to acknowledge any wrong doing. They gave inaccurate information to the store card Home Furnishings, Citicorp Credit Card Services causing my credit report to be affected. This matter was resolved through the Administrative Adjudication Bureau during a hearing in November when Legacy Furniture made a full credit for the charges to the Home Furnishings card 2 days prior to the hearing but were still found guilty by the judge and charged a fine (see attached documents). Although I did give my information it was under false pretenses. Legacy Furniture deserves their F rating because of their deceitful and uncooperative business tactics]

She chose a bedroom set She was offered to finance the purchase for 12 months no interest She was granted a line of credit after providing her information Customer changed her mind and came to cancel the order saying that she never authorized the credit line The manager apologized for the misunderstanding noting that this customer with such good credit should have known very well why she gave her personal information Her order was canceled Full refund was issued Thanks LEGACY FURNITURE
