Not completely satisfied
Legacy Roofing quoted me $13, 500 to shingle my roof and put up spouting. That sounded normal compared to other companies. When all was said and done, he charged me $14, 600 and not putting spouting up. I feel they saw I was easy (he even said that) which I took as a compliment until the owner shows up and charges me "One thousand and one hundred" more with no spouting and NO receipt! I didn't think about it until he already left and probably won't get a receipt especially if Chandler gouged me. At first, I trusted them but I wouldn't recommend them. Watch out for damage before they leave as well. They do make good on that if you haven't paid them yet.

My experience with Legacy Roofing and owner Damian H [redacted] has been a downhill slide since he has been on my roof I knew of several people using this company because he will accept the amount the insurance company will allow for a roof with wind/hail damage I had given information prior to new roof work that when I bought this newly built house in 1988, it had a leak which I had repaired and fixed by a reputable roofer No problems since...until Legacy Roofing put on a new roof in $8,was paid to Legacy Roofing Same area then leaked and I had problems contacting Legacy or getting Damien to answer my phone calls I had water running down living room ceiling and wall and onto my fireplace mantle I have video to prove this When he did show up, he said it could probably be fixed for $ He said he caulked (???) hole(s) he found (he did admit that hole was left after roofing) and proceeded to nail in pieces of metal to divert water from area Damien left and I had not been able to have any contact, despite numerous phone calls to him I called [redacted] Company who specialize in water damage for an estimate and review of Legacy's roofing They found additional hole(s) under the metal Legacy nailed into my roof plus nail damage, and changed some shingles to aid in direction of rain, etc I gave them the job of fixing roof mistakes and fixing my living room ceiling, wall and fireplace mantle The cost of the repair was $1, I did mail a copy of this repair to Damian H [redacted] by certified mail and asked him to present it to his insurance which he advertises that he is "fully insured" and that I have a "lifetime warranty" on our roof I finally found a workable address at [redacted] Drive, Niles, OH 44446, after sending it to several other addresses He signed the postcard on October 27, and I have not heard from him since

We originally planned to put ***'s roof on at the end of SeptemberUnfortunately, At that timeI had a death in the family and was out of town in Ganot taking any callsBecause of the lack of communication and no response [redacted] had every right to file a claim not knowing what the future would holdWe have revised our contract agreementAll parties seem to be happy and the work will be complete by 11/2/or a full refund will be issued plus

It is unfortunate that the [redacted] 's cannot be reasonable during their claims processLegacy Roofing has gone above and beyond to satisfy their every requestIt is evident that the [redacted] 's are in the process of committing fraud for the basis of pocketing proceeds dedicated to restoring their homeShe advised me how broke they were and said she wanted to keep the money and not do the workI advised that is Fraud! Legacy wants nothing to do with itIt is our obligation to report such crime to insurance commissioners so they can be held responsible for their actionsIt is very much not the case that we have failed to communicate with [redacted] and ***They continue to post harassing and misleading information regarding Legacy's good nameThere was very minor overspray by our painters on their windows and it was cleaned up and resolved same day while looking a lot better than it did beforeMiss [redacted] continues to give the painters different types of sheens which is different from the original semi-gloss that she demanded we put on her home although being advised that [redacted] HOA does not allow Semi-glossWe are now in the middle of painting her home for the third time based off of the paint she choseShe didn't like her own colors which she had picked out, so she demanded we purchase a different paint out of the original budget for her projectI had advised her that because of the additional labor and materials, we had to charge for the additional servicesShe got angry and started mistreating subcontractors on the job forcing them to leave considering she would not pay! We do not control homeowners paint color decisions and charge appropriately to the scope of work being performedWe left her several voicemails asking what her next steps would be and she refused to return any callsWe have consistently asked the [redacted] 's what we can do to make things easier to wrap up the project, but they continue to post negative remarks on social media and therefore Legacy has referred their file to the attorney network for suitShe has violated multiple agreements of her written contract and also defames Legacy's good nameThere will be suit filed for defaming and posting untrue incorrect informationThere will be no refund to [redacted] or [redacted] due to their negligenceLegacy has continued to perform labor and clean up outside of the scope we were hired to doWe are Not a nonprofit organization and refuse to continue work without paymentBecause [redacted] was so upset, she kicked over all the paint buckets on the side of her home and then blamed Legacy subcontractors that were not even presentHe is not providing any truth to the facts of the matterLegacy has even gone out of their way to spend another man hours pressure washing the mess she createdLegacy demands full payment for all services up to this point and wishes to part waysThis post does not hold any weight and should be thrown out for providing information!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] Although the response was not satisfactory to me, the work has been completed, and the company has been paid Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I advised [redacted] in the beginning that Legacy could manage and act as the GC to her claim and service the entire process OR We would allow her to do it just as we did with her attached neighbor on the same roof systemLegacy Roofing really did appreciate the friendship with the [redacted] 's and believed we could resolve this ourselvesThe request at over 2K is soooo far of a stretchWe have already allowed thousands of proceeds from the [redacted] report for Overhead and Profit to be paid to the [redacted] I hope this is not a shot at [redacted] or Legacy Roofing because we did not invest in her multi-marketing [redacted] plan? I enjoyed her products but didn't have time to pursue the businessSorry *** We are willing to settle for a lot less to resolve the fileThank You

Legacy roofing is ran and operated by a total scam artist named Damien H [redacted] He lied to us and our neighborsHe continues to send his Criminal salesmen to convince people they have "Storm" damage and he will come to the rescue and make your insurance company pay!!!! The only catch is he has been caught intentionally damaging perfectly good roofs Don't let this guy scam you!!!!!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:His response is completely false. We never signed a contract with him for work to be done. Ask him for it. He simply came out and gave of us bid. He is falsifying all information to you and our attorney. Sincerely, [redacted] ***

*** did hire is to complete the workThey simply had us complete the majority of the claim with ***, then had us negotiate and collect more money on their behalf for the claimThen paid us nothing, pocketed the money and deny hiring usA very sad outcome after months of hard work on their file

It is very unfortunate to hear the complaint from Ms***Yes, we did agree to do some concrete work around the perimeter of her propertyAlthough, We did show to complete the work for Ms*** on Tuesday April 12thI was informed by my crews on site that there was no access to electricity and
water which are both needed to charge tools and water needed to mix concreteThe crews asked neighbors if it would be OK to use there power outlets and fill gallon buckets with waterUnfortunately, no neighbors would allow use of power outlets, so the crew had to stop work for the dayBecause of other scheduled jobs scheduled weeks prior, we had to commit to thoseYes, I do apologize that there was a no call no show the following Thursday and do take full responsibility for the lack of communicationIt is very important to us at Legacy that we communicate effectively with our clients so that they remain happyThat night a huge snow storm came in and did not allow for concrete work last FridayI do believe we talked about work not being performed weather permittingAt this time, there is feet of snow on the ground and we cannot work in these conditionsI will contact *** right away to advise that we will be out to complete work as soon as weather permits and do apologize for the inconvenienceOur hopes are to perform the scope of work in our agreement and possibly offer discountsThank You

I am rejecting this response because: The response the Company made was that Legacy Roofing and Construction had not done any business with me and that I must have the wrong company I have many text messages and phone call history to show otherwise The text messages show that I wanted the job done right and professionally and they confirmed their understanding of thisThere are also text messages during the two days that I was stood up by them asking where they were If they had just shown the professional courtesy of showing up and working with me I would have been at peace with this situation a lot sooner The project we were working on was a small handyman type project for $that should have been fairly simple to complete A few problems took placeOne, the owner/salesperson that worked on the deal with me actually was the one that came to do the work and he later agreed that he doesn't swing hammers but does sales and paperwork He also admitted he rushed through the job so he can get back to his other main jobs which appear to be mostly roofing Hearing this obviously did not make me happy but when he apologized for this and said he had learned a lot from this experience I am now at peace with separating and moving on
Sincerely,

The situation between the [redacted]'s and Legacy Roofing has escalated to a point where only my attorney's can respond. There has been a lot of false accusations as well as slander and defamation advertised on public radio. It seems as if this complaint will remain unresolved and the outcome will be determined by a jury or judge.

Legacy Roofing stated to [redacted] that there is multiple clients on the schedules and that we would work hard to spend the last couple hours completing what little work is still left to do on that Monday April 25th. [redacted] has stated that she is OK with whatever is going on, she just needs a phone call to make her aware. I did promise to [redacted] that I would call and advise of what the plan was. Again, We lost opportunity to complete and wrap up her job on that Monday. Our Concrete sub had children that were sick and had to keep them home from school. [redacted] also stated that she was unable to pay for the work because she was "in between" pay periods at work. Once [redacted] advises that she has secured the funds to pay for thew work, we will gladly complete the work as long as weather permits  Sorry about the confusion again [redacted]. We are eager to close your file

We were hired by [redacted] to perform the completion of her claim with [redacted]. She advised this office multiple times that we were hired and she wanted us to supplement the claim with [redacted] and complete all work including windows. The work included Removing and replacing Concrete Tiles on...

the roof, paint, windows screens, and replacement of windows. We completed all work in the scope from [redacted] except the replacement of the windows. We also negotiated and supplemented the claim with [redacted] with who [redacted] and I both were in constant contact with. The windows were very delayed because all window contractors were slammed with work and were booked several months out last year's storms. This was the subcontracted part of the claim that was outside of Legacy's control. The entire claim was 5600.00 and we completed all work except windows. I personally handed both [redacted] and [redacted] the 10-15 windows that we re-screened for them. To say that no work, time, energy, and efforts were exhausted on this file would be highly incorrect. We will remove the lien when we are paid for our services as directed by [redacted]. Thank You

Although I was skeptical at first the owner of Legacy Roofing explained the roof process in detail. I checked out a few of his references and moved forward. Now I have a new roof and have referred two friends. I know roofing is not an easy job but they made it pretty smooth from start to finish.
