It is unfortunate that the [redacted]'s cannot be reasonable during their claims process. Legacy Roofing has gone above and beyond to satisfy their every request. It is evident that the [redacted]'s are in the process of committing fraud for the basis of pocketing proceeds dedicated to restoring their home. She advised me how broke they were and said she wanted to keep the money and not do the work. I advised that is Fraud! Legacy wants nothing to do with it. It is our obligation to report such crime to insurance commissioners so they can be held responsible for their actions. It is very much not the case that we have failed to communicate with [redacted] and [redacted]. They continue to post harassing and false misleading information regarding Legacy's good name. There was very minor overspray by our painters on their windows and it was cleaned up and resolved same day while looking a lot better than it did before. Miss [redacted] continues to give the painters 2 different types of sheens which is different from the original semi-gloss that she demanded we put on her home although being advised that [redacted] HOA does not allow Semi-gloss. We are now in the middle of painting her home for the third time based off of the paint she chose. She didn't like her own colors which she had picked out, so she demanded we purchase a different paint out of the original budget for her project. I had advised her that because of the additional labor and materials, we had to charge for the additional services. She got angry and started mistreating subcontractors on the job forcing them to leave considering she would not pay! We do not control homeowners paint color decisions and charge appropriately to the scope of work being performed. We left her several voicemails asking what her next steps would be and she refused to return any calls. We have consistently asked the [redacted]'s what we can do to make things easier to wrap up the project, but they continue to post negative remarks on social media and therefore Legacy has referred their file to the attorney network for suit. She has violated multiple agreements of her written contract and also defames Legacy's good name. There will be suit filed for defaming and posting untrue incorrect information. There will be no refund to [redacted] or [redacted] due to their negligence. Legacy has continued to perform labor and clean up outside of the scope we were hired to do. We are Not a nonprofit organization and refuse to continue work without payment. Because [redacted] was so upset, she kicked over all the paint buckets on the side of her home and then blamed Legacy subcontractors that were not even present. He is not providing any truth to the facts of the matter. Legacy has even gone out of their way to spend another 72 man hours pressure washing the mess she created. Legacy demands full payment for all services up to this point and wishes to part ways. This post does not hold any weight and should be thrown out for providing false information!

I think this homeowner is very confused or has the wrong Legacy Roofing & Construction. We have never performed a job for less than &5,000.00. Let alone $120.00. I believe he has the wrong Legacy Roofing and this complaint should be withdrawn from Legacy's Profile

My experience with Legacy Roofing and owner Damian H[redacted] has been a downhill slide since he has been on my roof. I knew of several people using this company because he will accept the amount the insurance company will allow for a roof with wind/hail damage. I had given information prior to new roof work that when I bought this newly built house in 1988, it had a leak which I had repaired and fixed by a reputable roofer. No problems since...until Legacy Roofing put on a new roof in 2013. $8,849.03 was paid to Legacy Roofing. Same area then leaked and I had problems contacting Legacy or getting Damien to answer my phone calls. I had water running down living room ceiling and wall and onto my fireplace mantle. I have video to prove this. When he did show up, he said it could probably be fixed for $200.00. He said he caulked (???) hole(s) he found (he did admit that hole was left after roofing) and proceeded to nail in pieces of metal to divert water from area. Damien left and I had not been able to have any contact, despite numerous phone calls to him. I called [redacted] Company who specialize in water damage for an estimate and review of Legacy's roofing. They found additional hole(s) under the metal Legacy nailed into my roof plus nail damage, and changed some shingles to aid in direction of rain, etc. I gave them the job of fixing roof mistakes and fixing my living room ceiling, wall and fireplace mantle. The cost of the repair was $1,352.55. I did mail a copy of this repair to Damian H[redacted] by certified mail and asked him to present it to his insurance which he advertises that he is "fully insured" and that I have a "lifetime warranty" on our roof. I finally found a workable address at [redacted] Drive, Niles, OH 44446, after sending it to several other addresses. He signed the postcard on October 27, 2015 and I have not heard from him since.

Legacy roofing is ran and operated by a total scam artist named Damien H[redacted]. He lied to us and our neighbors. He continues to send his Criminal salesmen to convince people they have "Storm" damage and he will come to the rescue and make your insurance company pay!!!! The only catch is he has been caught intentionally damaging perfectly good roofs. Don't let this guy scam you!!!!!

We originally planned to put [redacted]'s roof on at the end of September. Unfortunately, At that time. I had a death in the family and was out of town in Ga. not taking any calls. Because of the lack of communication and no response. [redacted] had every right to file a claim not knowing what the future...

would hold. We have revised our contract agreement. All parties seem to be happy and the work will be complete by 11/2/16 or a full refund will be issued plus 250.00

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
We have scheduled an arbitration meeting with the [redacted] County Court system. Our first step in filing our small claims lawsuit against Legacy Roofing and Construction and [redacted].
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I would like to reject the offer of Arbitration for complaint ID [redacted].  At this point, this will become a long, complicated process that I do not have the time to pursue.  I hope the Revdex.com will re-evaluate the A+ rating they give Legacy Roofing, so they can TRULY protect consumers from LR's bad business practices.  He not only has shown service inconsistencies throughout my time working with him, and with his original offer of a small refund which he then completely refused after being pinned down to a real number (personally, I think that original statement to refund was a bluff,) but also he's been featured elsewhere ([redacted]) for doing much worse stuff to other clients. Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  Although the response was not satisfactory to me, the work has been completed, and the company has been paid.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I advised [redacted] in the beginning that Legacy could manage and act as the GC to her claim and service the entire process OR We would allow her to do it just as we did with her attached neighbor on the same roof system. Legacy Roofing really did appreciate the friendship with the [redacted]'s...

and believed we could resolve this ourselves. The request at over 2K is soooo far of a stretch. We have already allowed thousands of proceeds from the [redacted] report for Overhead and Profit to be paid to the [redacted]. I hope this is not a shot at [redacted] or Legacy Roofing because we did not invest in her multi-marketing [redacted] plan? I enjoyed her products but didn't have time to pursue the business. Sorry [redacted] We are willing to settle for a lot less to resolve the file. Thank You

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:His response is completely false. We never signed a contract with him for work to be done. Ask him for it. He simply came out and gave of us bid. He is falsifying all information to you and our attorney.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: Legacy Roofing was hired to repair my roof after a storm in 2013. The owner then found out I had a rental property and pressured me to check the roof on this also. Legacy roofing inspected my rental and stated there was hail damage and nailed on a tarp to this roof. The owner stated if for any reason the rental home owners insurance did not cover this claim he would come back, remove tarp, and fix the shingles that were damaged. The rental home owners insurance did not accept the claim and Legacy Roofing has never returned my phone calls to remove tarp and fix shingles. After contacting another roofing company regarding this rental roof they stated the tarp nails damaged the roof and it all now has to be replaced. I have called Legacy roofing more than 10 times with no response. Also, since the rental was inspected by another roofing contractor my own personal roof which was replaced by Legacy Roofing has begun to leak. My fiance called Legacy Roofing from his phone and was able to finally speak to the owner and he stated he would be out the next day to inspect and repair. He never came and never called. This was 2 weeks ago and Legacy Roofing no longer answers our calls or returns our voice mails. I now have 2 roofs touched by Legacy Roofing that have issues.Desired Settlement: I would like my personal roof that is leaking to be fixed. I would also like reimbursed by Legacy Roofing for the roof on my rental property that is now damaged due to nailing a tarp into it causing more damage.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted by Legacy Roofing regarding complaint ID [redacted]. He has returned twice to my home since complaint was filed with no resolution to the leak at my home. He has made two very cheap changes and the roof still leaks.
