Legendary Marketer Reviews (%countItem)

I joined Legendary Marketer and haven't looked back!! It didn't take me long to see how genuine and transparent this company is! Dave and Matt are caring and willing to help anytime! The leadership's level of integrity is shown throughout the entire company! They deliver value day after day! Grateful to have found LM and looking forward to a bright future because of their training!

I was a subject of highly unethical practices which aims to find people in need, make sale for all cost, keep occupied until no-refund time period.
In the last summer, I found the website www.legendarymarketer.com. to which I subscribed and filled out my details required to get some "free" stuff, I just quit my job at that time and was looking for another source of income. Let's say I was in "need". I received an email for scheduling a free consultation, which I scheduled not knowing that like a fly I just move toward's spider's web.I was approached by one of the consultants she was asking about my dreams and needs. Once she understood that I was in need. She started to promising me a lot of money, dreams to come true, a vision of being free. She was convincing me to her best that this opportunity will never happen again when I became a "hot sale", she told me that only now I can decide, no other moment. now or never, or it will be gone forever this chance. Of course, I agreed, but I did not have enough money on my card. Asked her to give me only 24 hours. She replied to me that she doesn't know if she can do it... but perhaps ONLY this time she can ask her boss, but it never happens actually... So she gave me an answer that her boss agreed only this time, and after 24 hours it will be gone forever. So I organized money purchased Legendary Marketer's Blueprint for $2500. Then the consultant keeps me in high emotions for three days more, promising a lot of money, dreams which will become reality and a lifestyle of freedom. She kept me in that state because of trust in her for about 3 days. On the fourth day, I started to see that the product which I was offered was different from what I was promised. On the 5th day, I requested a refund because I started to see things clearly when my affection built up by a consultant about this "bright future and the wonderful course" was gone. I was promised to be guided through that process and I was left with the course and the coaches with whom I suppose to work either did not have time or they swap me over between themselves. At some point when I was doing 15 days challenge, I was offered actually automatically Legendary Marketer Business Blueprint for $2500, exactly offer which was offered me by my consultant in terms of "now or it's forever gone", "only for yourself", "I have to ask my boss if he will give me permission for this one unique time" while I wanted to give myself some time to consider it cool-headed and which finally pushed me towards purchasing product for $2500. When I asked the consultant about that she avoided this topic. Which led me to the belief that it wasn't out of ignorance of the processes in the company rather of conscious action which was aimed at making that sale and keeping in high emotions until there is no refund policy. I was left with a course, which I tried to utilize, but I am not able to utilize it in any way.

Desired Outcome

I am respectfully asking for a full refund of the $2500 I paid for the Business Blueprint from Legendary Marketer.

I have contacted Legendary Marketer asking for a full refund on my purchase of the Business Builder Blueprints.
I have contacted Legendary Marketer's support center to request for a refund on my $2500 purchase of the Business Builder Blueprints. I explained to them in detail that at the time of the purchase I felt really pressured by their advisors who I was speaking with to buy the program. $2500 is a lot of money and I didn't have enough on my credit at the time to purchase it but they kept pushing and advising me to open a new line and request a higher credit with my bank. At the same time, they kept buttering me up and telling me promises of how my life is going to be with this program. Once I have made the payment all of the advisors I was talking to suddenly went quiet and I was left alone to figure everything out for myself. It has been a few months since I purchased the program but have never even utilized the programs I paid for, I was so confused and everything I was seeing on the videos just required more money in order to use including memberships to ClickFunnels and so on. But I was told by the advisors that everything I will need is inside the blueprints. So this clearly left me even more confused and aggravated because I feel like I got played.

I emailed them and asked if they can reconsider my case as I am struggling financially because of COVID-19 hitting us pretty hard with the most unfortunate event that someone broke into the place we just recently moved into that added more of a strain to our financial situation. I have expressed to them that I am not and will not be able to utilize this program in any capacity and I shouldn't be forced to pay for something especially if I have never benefited from it. All I was left with are empty promises and I can't help but feel defeated because it seems like I was scammed out of $2500 and never gained anything from this transaction.

Desired Outcome

I am respectfully asking for a full refund of the $2500 I paid for the Business Builder Blueprint from Legendary Marketer.

Legendary Marketer Response • Jul 06, 2020

Dear ***,

We truly appreciate you as a member of Legendary Marketer, and take your concerns that you listed seriously. We are sorry to hear about your current situation, and that you feel you are not able to get value from the courses that you purchased at this time.

I looked further into your account, and saw that you worked with both Eliane and Andy during your initial 15 Day Online Business Builder Challenge. Both of these Advisors have been exemplary leaders to our members and community, and we have not had a single complaint regarding their performance or assistance of our members.

I see that you purchased the Business Blueprints (our advanced curriculum on affiliate marketing, course creation, coaching, and hosting events) on December 30th, 2019 and had additional calls with Eliane and Andy all the way through January 10th. Please note, it is not our Business Plan Advisors job to provide ongoing coaching to Business Blueprints clients, however it seems that they went above and beyond to provide more assistance to you even after your purchase.

Once someone enrolls in our Business Blueprints we have a client support team which helps facilitate their learning experience. That includes a full technical support team (which turns around support tickets typically within the same day). As well as a private Blueprints Facebook Group that is available for support by other clients and our team. Plus weekly live webinars where we work with students in small groups and one-on-one. It doesn't appear you have utilized any of these additional resources since enrolling.

While the Blueprints do give you the knowledge and training you need, there are additional services that we do recommend people use. One of which you mentioned was Clickfunnels. However, contrary to your statement, we recommend Clickfunnels early in our 15 Day Challenge (day 3 to be exact), well before anyone ever enrolls in any advanced training from us.

You also mentioned that our advisors kept "pushing and advising me to open a new line and request a higher credit with my bank". And with certain clients we do recommend researching if credit is available to them through their bank, etc. However, it is only a suggestion and a client can certainly turn that suggestion down. We pride ourselves on only making recommendations we believe are in the best interest of the client, so we're sorry you felt different about your interaction with us.

You said in your complaint "I have expressed to them I am not and will not be able to utilize this program in any capacity and I shouldn't be forced to pay for something especially if I have never benefited from it". And what we typically find with customers who are unhappy is they had unrealistic expectations about the amount of work it takes to operate a business and do not want to take responsibility for the work it requires to apply the principles and strategies they learn into action.

We're willing to provide data to back up the fact that very few clients are actually unhappy. In 2019, we had a total refund percentage of just 6%. A staggering low number for the digital education industry we operate in.

In an effort to maintain our good reputation and goodwill with the online community as a whole, we will refund your transaction and invite you to reach out if there's anything further we can assist with.

I do accept the full refund of $2,500

Through Legendary Marketer's courses I learned to get started with affiliate marketing and created my very own online business! My business has now made over $75,000 in the last 6 months and is continuing to grow. I'm very thankful for Legendary Marketer!

Dave and Matt over at Legendary are top-notch. I invested in the $2500 Blueprint course and have made my investment back within 45 days. The difference between myself and the "scam" reviews listed is that I put in the work required to succeed. Yes, this requires work. You're starting or growing a legitimate business of your own. If you're looking for a "get-rich-quick" scheme, keep looking because it's not here.

This is not an MLM or Business Opportunity. This is a place where you learn how to sell products online. Can you turn around and promote the Legendary training itself? Yes. However, I've applied their concepts to 3 different products other than Legendary training and have had success with all 3. What they teach works as long as you're willing to listen and apply yourself.

Will there be claims that you can make tons of money with Legendary? Yes! Their business is predicated on you APPLYING the knowledge you learn from them to MAKE MONEY! Just know that to make tons of money, you will have to put in tons of work.

Why wouldn't Legendary advertise their students that have had the most success? It's in their best interest. Nothing is guaranteed, but you have a good shot at success with them if you DO THE WORK!

Legendary Marketer is a scam! I request for all my money back from nearly $30,000 from all products and purchases. They only gave me refund back from 2 products only but not the Legendary Marketer Mastermind in which I paid $15,000 for alone. They don't care even after I request for it back numerous time and even during the COVID 19 Crisis! Legendary Marketer only want your money and do not care about your success. Dave S. give you false reassurance and false motivation through his so-called videos! I am in debt to my head and it has gotten worse since the COVID 19 Crisis! But again they don't care even when they emailed me back about not giving me all my money back. Warn you all, do not deal with Legendary Marketer/David S. because he and his company is a SCAM!!!!

Purchased the Digital Blueprint Course from Legendary Marketer on 9/2/2019. Proceed to request a refund on 9/25/19 which was denied.
After puchasing the Digital Blue Print Course on 9/2/19 I realized I made a decision that was not in my best interest and that this course would not beneficial to me. Requested a refund on 9/25/19 that was denied because it was pass the 3-day window in the refund policy which in my opinion is not enough time for such a high ticket item. I was offered to have the coach contact me to help me launch my business, which he did. I explained over and over that this is not what I wanted. He then promissed that he would see what he could do in regards to helping me get the refund. He responded days later that he was not able to help because the 3-day has passed where it was possible to get a refund. As my request continued to be denied and my only other option at the time was to seek help from my bank by filling a dispute. The bank requested I provide all pertinent documentation to include, receipts, contract, explanation letter, etc. which I did. The bank then credited my account for the $2500 with the understanding that Legendary Marketer had a
timeframe to dispute my claim, which of course they did with their signed contract of the 3-day refund policy. The $2500 was then charged back to my account and the case was closed. In light of the current events we are now facing I reached out to them again on 4/6/20 with no response, contacted them again on 4/11/20 letting them know that as mentioned months back I needed a refund. This has caused a financial strain all along and now with my current reality it is worse and I should not be faced to pay for a product not beneficial to me. My request was once again denied.

Below is part of the complaint filed with my bank in disputing the charge on 11/26/19.
Digital blueprint course purchased from Legendary Marketer to learn to do affiliate marketing. I am new at affiliate marketing and find that this course is not beneficial to me. There is the issue that part of the information offered in the course can be found on YouTube and other free sites. There are other tools one has purchase once inside the course such as Click Funnels and Aweber. An initial funnel code for Click Funnels was offered for $19 per month in the 15-day blueprint and there was no disclosure that additional funnels would be needed as you progressed through the course that cost a minimum of $97 per month. There is free set up instructions inside each of these additional tools, which brings me to the fact that this is not information that needs to be paid for with a blueprint. As stated the main part of the affiliate course is a whole lot of overwhelming information that can be acquired anywhere. The next part of the training is marketing. The assigned coaches recommend doing YouTube for free marketing. I mentioned that I am not comfortable doing YouTube to make this business work. Then you have the option of training to do Facebook marketing that was of my interest. That course is foreign for me as a new marketer and is assuming is geared for someone that is experienced and has the knowledge of online marketing. To say the least it was completely overwhelming and I still don't comprehend the content. This course is a total confusion and to have one sign an agreement with a 3 day window to request a refund is totally unreasonable because it doesn't give you the time to go through the content to access if this would work for you or not. Lastly a few days after purchasing this course I was sent a "Bonus special video training class and special opportunity" from the coach stating that this would be so beneficial to me. Once I accessed the video I was appalled that the offer was to purchase a $15,000 mastermind that would include a business builder package and as a bonus would allow them to set up my business from start to finish for me which would put me much ahead. This is confusing because isn't the purpose of the $2,500.00 blueprint purchase suppose to give me all the knowledge needed to launch a high-ticket business.

Desired Outcome

I am requesting a full refund of $2500 for the Business Blueprint purchased. As I stated on numerous occasion to this company that their product is not beneficial to me. Therefore, I am not interested in working with them. I do not want to work with a coach as they continue to offer as a solution.

Legendary Marketer Response • Apr 25, 2020

Hello ***,

We apologize for your personal experience with our products and services. You are correct in saying that we only offer a 3-day refund on the product that you purchased, and that is also explained in the contract that is signed at time of purchase.

Due to your current situation, and your inability to utilize the products you purchased, we are offering a full refund which you should see in your account within 3-5 business days.

We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

I do accept the full refund. Thank you.

I try to enrolled for the 7-Days Challenge course by David S. of the Legendary Marketer but my paypal was hacked by Ricardo M. his worker.
I tried to enrolled for the 7-Days Challenge course by David S. on 25 March 2020 at 10am Malaysian time. I entered my email and password and credit card information. But my credit card was rejected. I tried twice but failed to register. Then I checked my Paypal account and found out it was hacked by Ricardo M. with a paypal email ricardom***@gmail.com. Two amounts was stolen from my paypal account- USD333.33 and USD124.75. I checked on the Legendary Marketer website and found out Ricardo works for David S. This shouldn't be the way Legendary Marketer do business by hacking into people's paypal account and transfer their customer money. Very bad business practices and very bad business policies. Legendary Marketer should be banned and close down for these bad practices in their advertising.

Desired Outcome

I hope to get back my money from Legendary Marketer. A full refund. Legendary Marketer should be banned for such bad practices.

Legendary Marketer Response • Apr 04, 2020

To whom it may concern,

We were initially contacted by Mr *** on March 24th at 11:54pm in regards to a refund of charges on his Paypal account. Our support department researched his request and identified that there were no charges processed by us, Legendary Marketer, to anyone with the name of *** with his email address, or credit card.

Mr *** provided us with a screenshot of his Paypal charges, which were actually made to someone by the name of Ricardo M. Mr *** is under the belief that Ricardo M. is associated with our company. While we do have an Independent Contractor named Ricardo R. that is on our sales team, it is not the same individual he is referring to.

Mr *** has stated to us that during the checkout process, he entered in his Paypal email address and password. We do not take Paypal as a method of payment, nor do we ask for this information from any of our customers. You can see our checkout page for the product he is referencing here: https://checkout.legendarymarketer.com/order/business-builder

I am attaching screenshots of our conversations with Mr *** for reference, as well as his screenshot of his Paypal charges that he has provided to us.

If the charges on Mr *** are indeed unauthorized, and he believes he was being charged by Legendary Marketer, then we fully believe that he has encountered someone posing as our company and making fraudulent charges to his account. We operate our business with the highest ethics and integrity and vehemently deny the allegations made by Mr ***

Please feel free to contact me directly for more information. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Juli M.
Chief Operating Officer
Legendary Marketer

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I cannot accept the fact that Legendary Marketer denied they captured my personal data in their system.
Kristi the support leader mentioned twice my personal data were captured by their system. My contact and email and password and addresses and credit card information were captured in their system. The system captured my data on 10.32 am and 10.34 am on 25 March 2020 Malaysian time as mentioned by Kristi. Both transactions coincided with the time I submitted the Builder Challenge form to Legendary Marketer. Juli M. the Chief Operating Officer is trying to deny the fact that my personal data were captured by the system. In her email she said 1) There have been no transactions attempted to be made by you with your credit card ending in *** (which you have provided us in the Paypal screenshot that you have sent over).
2) There have been no transactions attempted to be made by you under the name *** or email address ***@gmail.com.

This is totally a lied by Juli. Kristi mentioned in her email the following quote "I was reviewing our transaction history and I am showing that there were two attempts to purchase the Business Builder Challenge, and both of the purchases were unsuccessful due to your location. Currently, we are not able to accept any new members from Malaysia. I do apologize for this inconvenience. Because of these unsuccessful payments, no account was created for you for Legendary Marketer." w can you denied the fact that Legendary Marketer had my personal data and email and password and credit card information. Kristi said that both transactions to purchase the Business Builder Challenge had failed. My personal data were captured by their systems when I submitted the Business Builder Challenge form. No one had my email or password to my paypal account but Legendary Marketer. I checked with paypal and paypal said there was no unauthorized entry to my paypal account. I found no hacking to my account. No one can accessed my paypal account without hacking or unauthorized entry unless they had my password. The Business Builder Challenge form has entries for my email and and password. My mistake was to give away my paypal password to Legendary marketer. But I never suspected Legendary Marketer would accessed my paypal account and took my money. This is a very serious breached of my email and password.

Legendary Marketer cannot denied the fact that my email and password was used to accessed my paypal account and money was taken from my paypal account. Both events happened at the time I submitted the Business Builder Challenge form to Legendary Marketer. I doubt any other people could have done this. Kristi said that their payment system is the most secure system. No one else could have done it other than Legendary Marketer. Juli has been trying to deny the fact that I even existed in their system. Such denial speaks very little substance of the Legendary marketer.

Legendary Marketer Response • Apr 09, 2020

There has been no evidence provided by Mr *** to our company, or the Revdex.com, that shows any transactions or transaction attempts made by Legendary Marketer to his Paypal account. Mr *** is only able to show a Paypal transaction that is made to a person that is not affiliated with our company and for amounts that do not correlate with any product or service sold.

There are not transactions, or transactions attempts, made by Mr *** using his credit card, or Paypal account. Our company does not accept Paypal as a form of payment, and we would never ask for a customer's Paypal email and password. Our checkout pages do not include any area for a customer to enter in their Paypal information. We also currently do not conduct business in Malaysia, and therefore transactions are not able to be made from this country.

While we do understand that Mr *** has a strong belief that he was submitting this information to Legendary Marketer, we stand behind our initial response and
deny the allegations brought against us by Mr *** It is our belief that he has mistaken our company for another he may have conducted business with, or someone posing as our company fraudulently charged his account.

We continue to strongly encourage Mr *** to dispute the transactions directly with Paypal and have directed Mr *** how to do so. We wish him well with resolving this matter directly with Paypal.

The company refused to refund me the $2500 Business Blueprints, even after multiple email exchanges.
I purchased Legendary Marketer's Business Blueprints which cost $2500 on November 14th. The Business Blueprints did not meet my expectations so I asked for a refund by email on November 24th (which happens to be under 7 business days). I was told that they could only refund me under the following 3 day of the purchase.

"The FTC's Cooling-Off Rule gives you a 3-day right to cancel a sale made at your home, workplace or dormitory, or at a seller's temporary location, like a hotel or motel room, convention center, fairground or restaurant. It also applies when you invite a salesperson to make a presentation in your home. But not all sales are covered."

However, there are exceptions to this rule. The Cooling-Off Rule does not cover sales that : are for goods or services not primarily intended for personal, family or household purposes (The Rule applies to courses of instruction or training) and sales made entirely online. Therefore, I believe Legendary Marketer has violated the FTC's Cooling-Off Rule & believe I should be issued a refund.

After multiple exchanges with the company by email, they refused to issue a refund stating that the company had already absorbed the funds, so a refund would be impossible. All they did was trying to upsell me more products that I do not want.

Desired Outcome

I want to be issued a refund for the $2500 that I spent on their Business Blueprints. I want my money back, not some upsells or get "free classes" in exchange to a refund.

Legendary Marketer Response • Dec 23, 2019

This customer requested a refund outside of our refund policy that she agreed to when she signed the agreement for the education courses. When we received her we put her in touch with the Advisor who addressed all of her concerns and she reconsidered her request for a refund and withdraw it saying she would continue with the education courses. She then decided to change her mind again. We explained to her that she had already agreed to abide by the terms and use the education courses, we offered her extra tools and help but she is not willing to work with us within the perimeters of the agreement she signed. She also made this purchase on her own, directly from our site, without anybody walking her through. We have tried to assist her in different ways but she is not willing to work with us.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did talk to my advisor because when I sent an email saying I didn't want the blueprints anymore they made him call me instead of replying right back to me. However my mind was already set that I didn't want the blueprints whatsoever, I did say that I might reconsider the refund just so I could hang up because my Advisor kept telling me I was somehow making a mistake and so on. Later on I got an email saying that the company was happy that I decided to keep the blueprints, which I never said, after talking to my Advisor. I have screenshots of emails proving it, and from me replying that I still wanted my refund (I never changed my mind about it). They kept declining any refund & tried to give me more courses or tools in exchange of the refund which I never approved or even asked for. I was & still am extremely disappointed, I expected more from the company. $2500 US is a lot of money for me ($3400 CAD). I'm just asking for a full refund.

Legendary Marketer Response • Dec 27, 2019

Ms. has been let known several times that her refund request was beyond the refund period. This refund request came out of the blue as she had even discussed that she wanted to invest in other courses we offer and our Brand Builder service.

She had big goals in her life and wanted to put our education courses to work to achieve them in time.

At no point she was doubtful of this. We have decided at this point to refund her the entire $2500 and deactivate her account with us. This has been processed today and it will take 3-5 business days for her to see this back in her account.

Customer Response • Dec 28, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I do accept the refund.

I was told that this was the only way to become an affiliate for their product and was sold the training on the expectation of future returns.
Several months ago I was sold training from LM over the phone. I was told that this was the only way to become an affiliate for their product and was sold the training on the expectation of future returns.

I was told that the reason I needed to purchase the training was that I was an inexperienced affiliate marketer and the training would ensure that I knew about complying with disclosure laws. This is entirely false. There is very little in the training regarding compliance, there is no formal test of knowledge and the affiliate program is opened to you as soon as you pay (clearly before you have done any training whatsoever). The training is simply an excuse to charge a fee to most applicants to the affiliate program.

It is clear that the purpose of the sale of the training is simply a fee to allow you to join the affiliate program. While some applicants may be allowed to join the affiliate program for free, this is not the norm for most people. The training is sold primarily as a method of joining the affiliate program as it's main benefit.

I have since found out that under US law it is unlawful to charge a fee with the purpose of the customer profiting from bringing in new customers. This is what they are doing and is the basis they sell the training on.

When I purchased the training, the call from my "coach" was not about the training but rather mainly about trying to upsell me to the mastermind program. Some of the content of the training itself had clearly been licensed from other companies and made reference to other training that did not form part of LM's offering. The training was simply there as a way of justifying the fee to become an affiliate charged to most people that apply to LM.

Furthermore, when I stated on the phone that I was planning on contacting the Revdex.com an LM "coach" described the Revdex.com as a "scam" and stated that the only way businesses get a good rating with the Revdex.com is if they pay. When I finished the call with him I agreed to look at the training again but to continue seeking a refund via LM support. He then contacted LM support and told them I had withdrawn my request for a refund!

LM is not a professional business and their owner has been part of previous businesses that have been closed by the FTC for similar sales practices.

While I am aware that I am outside of the time to claim a refund under LM's terms and conditions, I am entitled in law to a refund due to the mis-selling of the product.

As a business we reserve the right to accept or deny certain countries from participating in our programs. Unfortunately, India has been one of the countries we had to block from accepting payments from to be in alignment with our merchant account. It is nothing personal with this person. It is a company wide policy we have.

They are scam, after I cancel with them before 30 days, they continue charging my account ,even thou the account has been closed

Legendary Marketer Response • Apr 02, 2019

Mr. joined our program on April 12, 2018. He had a monthly membership for 5 months. He called us on September 5, 2018 to cancel his subscription, and informed us that we did not need to refund him because he had already contacted his bank to dispute the charges. On November 2, 2018 we got a notice from our merchant that Mr. had filed 2 chargebacks against us for the July and August subscriptions. We decided not to fight the chargebacks and the merchant reverted the charges from our account back to his. As far as our records indicate, Mr. got his money back on the charges he disputed and there was no further action required by us. He is now choosing to contact us again 5 months after the fact, to continue to dispute this, as we are unable to assist any further on our end due to the chargebacks file. Even if we wanted to refund, once a chargeback is filed, it would fail if we attempted to do so. We have explained this to Mr. in several occasions, we have copies of every piece of correspondence we have had with him. All of our efforts to communicate this to Mr. have been exhausted as he fails to understand we have done everything he originally requested per his original request of September 5, 2018

THEY PROMISE YOU WILL MAKE MONEY AFTER PAYING FOR COACHES 2500 BUT THIS IS A BIG SCAM DIDNT MAKE BACK NOTHING

they scamed me with a $30 business course once I paid and stared they told me in order to get the full course you need to pay another $2500

I put my trust and hard-earned money into a company named Legendary Marketer, only to be deceived, robbed and ignored once my $2,500 payment cleared.
I was duped into thinking this company by the name of Legendary Marketer was as they portrayed themselves as... Shortly after joining the company with the initial $30/monthly membership to get started, I was persuaded with the impression and set forth in our contractual agreement that I was to be taught 1:1 with my own personal coach "Walking me every step of the way" if only I upgrade my membership to the one-time fee of $2,500Legendary Masterclass that way I can be guaranteed a higher level of profit, so, on 07/14/18 I upgraded my membership to the recommended level for "Motivated students looking to make money on the fast track."
Sadly, that claim just wasn't so. Once my payment was received and posted I was left in the dark as to how to proceed with my coarse material and found it impossible to connect with my many elusive coaches that somehow kept shifting me off to new leads"Recruiters." I scheduled numerous calls with my coaches, took valuable time off work to arrange for a call but they always had an excuse "Got too busy and that he would call tomorrow." To no avail they were.
Finally, after getting no where with the company I finally called it quits and requested my money back from them by text, email, the customer service line that seems to be forwarded to a cell phone? They have been unreachable, unresponsive, and unwilling to honor my request for refund- Even within the specified time frame of 30 days.
When I finally got a reply back from 'My coach'it was "I have to change my mindset to succeed" when the entire time I WAS asking proper instruction on how to proceed which I did not get. I have unprofessional text messages and emails where I was instructed to skip so called lessons and apply marketing "Tricks" on irrelevant websites.
At that point I knew where this was leading...nowhere! I then contacted my credit card company of which the transaction charged from and am in pending dispute. I am now finding it difficult to prove that I did receive the products and/or services since it was in a digital format. Apparently to make matters worse I learned that any access I once had to the $2,500 coarse(now irrelevant and useless with no coach) has be denied for an unknown period of time now. The time frame to be issued a refund was verbally set forth at 30 days, not 3 days like they stated to my credit card company. I communicated my dissatisfaction with the companies practices and I was not satisfied whatsoever with my coach or coarse and requested a full refund from the company back in August of 2018.
Still to this date I have learned absolutely NOTHING from them, no coarse material of any sort, no product, no service, no coach nothing to show for where my money went?! UNACCEPTABLE.

Desired Outcome

A FULL REFUND. I have been victim of fraud and misused by the Company that goes by the name of Legendary Marketer. I am seeking compensation of a full refund of $2,500 of the products and services of which i were supposed to receive as promised in our contract but did not receive. Not only did i get robbed of my hard-earned money, but access to any digital online coarse material had also been wrongfully terminated as a result of me having to file a claim against them with my credit card company. I have made numerous attempts to reach out to the "Coaches" as well as their customer service support and to no avail, i have had no assistance to this date in resolving this matter. I have no experience whatsoever in the online marketing industry and took into consideration their claims that "NO experience necessary to succeed with the company." Well, they capitalized tremendously on me and am left with nothing. They even went as far as attempting to Degrade my name to my credit card company of which iv'e been a 14 year good standing customer at that. After researching online, not to my surprise, i was not the only one who this has happened to. This company has multiple claims against them, each one relating to our same experiences. Additionally, the company founder named David Sharpe, has previously been involved with 2 particular companies- one of them named Empower Network_ in the past that had been shut for practicing illegitimate marketing strategies!

joined Legendary Marketer and purchased our Legendary Marketer subscription as of 7/1/2018. After speaking with our Business Plan Advisor he decided to upgrade to our Builder & Leader Masterclass courses as of 7/13/2018. *** had a call with our Business Strategists on 7/19/2018 and discussed family life and current financial situation. On 7/20/2018 *** was given an assignment of the manifestation exercise and several attempts were made to contact him to no avail. On 7/23 we attempted to contact him again, and a voicemail was left again for him to return our call. On 7/24/2018 *** made contact with his Business Strategist Bill and let him know that at that time he did not have the time to talk to him and Bill scheduled an appointment forh im on 7/26/18. *** did not keep the appointment as scheduled.

*** was contacted again on 8/7 and was provided information on how to get started with his business. All efforts to assist *** on our end have been exhausted as he did not perform actions required on his part to have a successful opportunity for himself.

Member filed a charge back on his $30 Legendary Marketer Subscription payment of $30 on 10/1/2018 but never once reached out to us to let us know he was dissatisfied or requested a refund. At this time it is way beyond the refund process and *** has access to all of the educational courses in his back office.

filed a chargeback with her credit card company on 10/05/18 and at that point the $2,500 were reverted back to her account. This is why access was removed. The funds were taken out of our account and reverted back to her by her credit card company.

*** must contact her bank in regards to this transaction. If she needs any more information she can contact us at [email protected]

Check refund method is not feasible as I am from the UK and will be charged to deposit the money to my account. Customer service was bad from Brent.
I paid $30 for Legendary Marketer on the 26 December 2018 with my visa bank card. I was aware that there was a 30 day refund just in case the program was not suited to me and I had seen that a refund usually was not an issue.

On the 7th January 2019, I contacted Charisma from customer support by chat and told her I would like a refund as I felt like the program was not suited to me and it had been less then 30 days so I was entitled to it. She informed me that this is fine and that I would receive it by check in 7-10 days. I communicated my reluctance of receiving a check refund due to me being from the UK and thinking the time would take longer than 7-10 days because of this. She reassured me that it would be fine and that the time would still be 7-10 days for me to receive the check. I was also thinking I might have issues trying to deposit the international check into my UK bank account but I did not communicate this but I stated that I did not understand why the refund would be by check considering I paid for the program by card. I honestly found this ridiculous and extremely inconvenient but I agreed and provided my address for the check to be sent.

Over 16 days had passed and I still had not received my refund check of $30 in the mail. Within this time, I spoke with my bank who confirmed that I would infact be charged to deposit an international check into my account. They stated that it is not a feasible method of depositing money into UK accounts for this reason and because it could take up to 8 weeks to clear.

On the 23rd January 2019 I contacted Legendary Marketer again via chat explaining that I still had not received my check after 2 weeks of cancelling my account and requesting a refund. I received an email response from Charisma saying that there was a delay and my check was only sent out on the 18th January 2019. I was not happy at all because she informed me on the 7th of January when I made my refund, that I would receive the check in 7-10 days. I was also not made aware of the 11 day delay which is disgraceful. I communicated to her that I am not happy about this and that I would like a refund in the same way I made the payment - by bank account transfer. I said my reason is because I am from the UK and I will be charged to deposit the international check into my bank account. I made it clear that the service provided was not acceptable.

Charisma failed to respond. Instead, I received a response from Brent from Legendary Marketer stating that the issue is in regard to Visa denying refunds by card. This is something I do not understand as I received a refund from another company via Visa card only yesterday and I had no problems. I have never had any issue receiving refunds online before using Visa. I communicated this with Brent and let him know that I was unhappy with the customer service provided. Brent showed no empathy toward my situation and seemed to lack any care or consideration. He did not put himself in my shoes and he was extremely rude and condescending. I asked him who I could complain to and he sarcastically replied "your bank" which made me feel like my feelings where invaluable. I responded that I wanted to complain about the terrible customer service I received from Legendary Marketer and he failed to respond back.

Desired Outcome

My desired resolution would be to have my $30 refunded straight into my bank account, even if its by PayPal, Payoneer or wire transfer. I cannot accept check because I will be charged a lot of money to deposit it into my bank account because I am not an American citizen and I am from the UK. It is not feasible and it defeats the purpose of getting the refund in the first place. I would also like a sincere apology from Legendary Marketer because I honestly have never received such terrible service online before. I was made to feel very small, my concerns were ignored and my feelings where completely disregarded.

Legendary Marketer Response • Feb 11, 2019

I am sorry that Christine feels the way she feels. I understand that when reading something it is hard to really 'feel' what the other person is trying to say. We are proud of ourselves for treating our members right and with as much empathy as possible. Unfortunately, this situation is something completely out of our control.

I had reached out to Christine directly as Brent knew she was upset and not satisfied with his answered and assigned it to me so I could explain to her the situation. On my email I let her know of options she could have to get her money back, but she never acknowledged my reply nor replied to me.

I basically let her know that we were sorry that she felt she was provided with terrible customer service and that the reasons she was given were in fact the truth. Our goal is to make sure 100% of our members are 100% satisfied when they communicate with us, being the reason why the ticket was assigned to me.

For some reason, Visa has changed how certain merchants process refunds. We are experiencing this with one of our merchants. We have attempted to process her refund and it simply gives us a message that in order to process we must call for a code, which is impossible to do because our gateway does not have any place for a code to be entered.

I have been personally working with our representative for this merchant account to see if this issue can be resolved, as it is truly an inconvenience, not only for our members, such as Christine, but also to us, as a company. The only resolution we have been told so far (after a few months of dealing with this) is that they are working on a resolution and will let us know when this will be done.

We are doing our best to try to work with her, we want to give her the $30 back that she spent. Again, this is truly beyond our control.

If Christine would send me a directly email to ***@LegendaryMarketer.com I will be more than happy to discuss the suggestion I had provided her with.

I was waiting for her reply so I could move forward with this but as I mentioned, she never replied to me.

Misleading communication from the company painting the wrong picture in front of the consumer
Communication from the company was misleading and painted a picture of something which was not even close to the actual scenario. "Coach" was regularly following up until payment for the high ticket product worth $2500 was made. Before making the payment Coach said I will be getting 4 numbers of $1000 commissions within a month however I did not get a single $ in commission. After making payment the response received from the Coach was he is too busy as he has to entertain other "clients". I paid the amount and was left with nothing related to the picture created by the company.

Desired Outcome

I would like to have the full refund of the $2500 along with $60 paid as monthly charges.

Legendary Marketer Response • Oct 28, 2018

Mr. *** purchased the Builder Masterclass educational course from our company on September 12th paying in full for it. He signed a contract for this purchase. Within this contract, he initialed Item 4 of which reads: "I understand for all products and services purchased through Legendary Marketer, there is a limited, 3-day refund policy. However, I also understand that I can login and cancel any monthly subscription at any time, and that I won't be billed again unless I renew such subscription. Cancellations can be processed via email to: ***@legendarymarketer.com."

Mr. contacted our Support Department after 20 days to request a refund for his Builder Masterclass purchase. At this time he was made aware that his request had exceeded the refund period but we would review the account and get back to him.

After the review, we let him know that our records indicated that we had just released some additional content that was available to him in his back office, and that we also saw he had already started promoting and generated leads on his account which in time would possibly become sales.

Mr. reason for the refund, at this time was that he had a family emergency. We explained that the company had already absorbed the cost and paid out commissions and that is why we had the 3 day refund policy. We offered him some free marketing sessions with a traffic coach so he could increase his advertisement knowledge and create more revenue. His business advisor also offered to help him and begin a marketing strategy for him.

Mr. never once made the claims that are listed in this complaint to our company or any of its representatives. This seems to be a case of buyer's remorse. We uphold to a high level of standards on how we do business within Legendary Marketer.

This company has three addresses on file: (1) Legendary Marketer, 8261 35th Ave. N., Saint Petersburg, FL., 33710-1005. PH: (321) 300-5807. (2) Legendary Marketer, 2300 Tall Pines Dr. Suite 117, Largo, FL., 33771-5342. PH: (321) 300-5807. (3) Legendary Marketer, 4020 Park St. N. Suite 201A, Saint Petersburg, FL., 33710. PH: (727) 498-5138. Membership: $30 on a monthly basis! One free consultation with a coach! Any additional ones they don't mention how much for each. Newsletter on digital products you have to buy, another $30! Webinars to attend are $8,000! Then you will start making some money with your new born business? And who knows what other products you would have to purchase from them? They are already making their money! I could not afford to jump start any time soon with this company!

Company was unclear and portrayed something other than what is being sold
Your "coach" only follows up with you until they have you pay. After you make payment they no longer follow up with you and prolong your "coaching calls" so you have no option to cancel. First person I spoke with said I would get $1,000 commission and $2,000 bonus if I signed up. And it was not true. I paid and was left to figure things out on my own.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking to have the $2,500 refunded back to me and the $47

Legendary Marketer Response • Feb 02, 2018

We were in contact communication with this person. She missed several of her scheduled appointments and we continued to re-scheduled and she communicated with a couple of our representatives via Skype. She never asked us for a refund directly. Once we got this complaint we reached out to her and she blocked us from contacting her. We issued her a full refund. We would have worked with her if she told us that is what she wanted.
