After several weeks of spotty garbage pickup, and only one yard waste pickup, we decided to cancel our service and go to another vendor who would service us as the contract dictated. We paid our quarterly charge for May, June and July in April, canceled service as of June 1. We also paid $89.00 for yard waste pickup for the season, and only had one pickup. When we contacted them about a refund for services not used, they advised they do not issue refunds. We know of several other people who have had this same problem.

I have been a customer of Lepage & Son's for 10 years now, and recently their service got incredibly bad. They could not make their commitment to pick up trash on Tuesdays. Some weeks it wasn't until Thursday that our trash was picked up. So I cancelled their service for another carrier.

When I called to ask when I could expect my refund for services not rendered, I was told that they do not refund. But when when I checked the Revdex.com website, sure enough, they are telling other folks that they will be refunded.

I called last week because my trash was not picked up. I brought the container and recycling down to the curb at 6 am. My recycling was taken but not the trash. I was told that the driver said I did not have it down there in time. It was there on time so I left it at the curb and waited.
Two days later the trash was still there. I called again but got nowhere. I tried to get the trash picked up even threatening to cancel my service only to be told that there is a contract until January and can't get out of it. WHAT? You can breach the contract but I can't?
Now it's the next week and it trash pickup day again. Still no trash pickup. I called again at 3 only to be told that the trucks are still out there picking up trash. I asked "what happens if they don't pick it up and was told to call back on Tuesday and they'd get someone out here. Well I've heard that before. At 5 you are closed and my trash is still at the curb.
I feel like these employees are laughing at all of us who call. They have a political figure in the family, is this making them feel immune to all the complaints? They started out so strong now they just ***.

Prepaid for yard waste removal at the beginning of the year. Yard waste was never picked up 3 weeks straight. Called mulitlple times to try and speak with someone about the issue and when I was able to reach someone I was provided with only excuses. Finally the last call I cancelled my service and requested a refund on my 89.00 payment and for the trash/yard cans to be picked up. Followed up with an email and gave them two weeks to provide the refund and make the pick up and no response from the company. On the final pick up, they just dumped the yard waste in the garbage truck.

LePage has been days late picking up our garbage and yard waste for the past several weeks. They are currently over a week late picking up our yard waste container. We have made multiple calls in to report that the can has not been picked up. They only respond with "we have made a work order and it should be picked up soon". We have pre-paid for this service and now they refuse to refund us so we can move to a new trash company. We have filed a complaint with the city as well. I would like LePage to pick up our yard waste as they had agreed, refund us for our unused garbage and yard waste service, and to pick up their cans. I am tired of the imcompetence and lack of integrity.

After many missed garbage pickups and their office not ever getting back to me, I decided to cancel their service. Also prepaid the compost service for 2018 in March. I asked that they cancel my service immediately and return my compost funds as it was April 13th (still snowing) and the service had not yet begun. They finally got back to me nearly two weeks later and stated they would refund me the $89 compost fee paid.
Today is May 24th. They still have not picked up their cans, not refunded me the money they owe me and just sent me a bill for $15!!.
I have been calling them to discuss/dispute this bill but they never answer their phones.
These guys are ridiculous and are obviously on the cusp of going out of business.
Do not use them.

Over the past two weeks, LePage & Sons has failed to pick up my yard waste which has been at the end of my driveway since 5/11/18. I was never informed of any issues preventing LePage & Sons from completing this pick up. After searching social media, I learned that LePage & Sons was experiencing delays in their yard waste pick ups. While that is completely understandable, I find it very concerning that I was never notified of this delay and I had to resort to searching social media for answers. On 5/19/18, a Lepage & Sons truck drove past my house and continued to collect the yard waste from a neighboring house. I attempted to resolve the issue by contacting Lepage & Sons multiple times via phone and email. I called on 5/14/18, 5/19/18, and 5/21/18. All of calls went to voicemail with the exception of one call in which someone answered, I heard people in the background, but no one actually acknowledged I was on the line no matter how many times I said, "Hello!" That is very concerning. It shows that LePage & Sons is ignoring their customers. It is worth noting that in the multiple calls made, I left two voicemails requesting that my yard waste be picked up ASAP and a final voicemail requesting a call back to discuss the pickup of my yard waste and the potential cancellation of my service. An email was also sent requesting the same on 5/21/18. I have not heard back to any of my voicemails or emails. It is completely unacceptable that as a LePage & Sons customer I have to resort to filing a complaint with the Revdex.com in order to receive some type of response. In the 3 voicemails left and 1 email sent, I explained that I am looking to sell my house the week of 5/21/18 and I need to have my yard waste picked up immediately.

Cancelled their service on May 7 for last pick up May 9th. Late or completely missed pickups. When I finally got someone on the phone May 10th I requested a refund of our yard waste as they only picked it up 2 times for the season. They picked up the 3rd & 10th of May. This was a Thursday, our normal day is Wednesday. After speaking to Allie on the phone on the 10th her words were "after speaking to the owner we will get you a refund of your yard waste service". This is the 22nd and still no refund. I spoke to Jamie on Thursday the 17th and she quoted "it's in the computer that refund was sent May 10th". It does not take this long for a piece of first class mail to travel across town. I fully expect to pay for the 2 pickups that they did pick up but we have another service now. Also, they said "check was in the mail". Obviously it is not.

My garbage pick up day is every Monday. I pay yearly for a yard waste/compost pickup service in addition to my normal disposal service. On May 7th 2018 my yard waste was never picked up. Throughout the week of May 7th, I had called twice and emailed once, every time I was assure that they would get to it. Monday May 14th Came and it still hasn’t been picked up. Now I have a growing pile of yard waste at the end of my driveway. Emailed them again and was told to be patient as they are backed up and that it would get done soon. It is now Thursday and I believe that it will still not get picked up by the end of the week. They charge for yard waste service by requesting payment in full before the season. I have been paid in full and am not receiving the service I have paid for.

LePage was hired as of Jan 1, 2018, for which they were paid in advance for the entire year, to take care of our trash, recycle and yard waste with the full understanding that the yard waste would not start until the snow was gone. Our problems started when they did not pickup our yard waste or the recycle bins on Friday May 4th our regular pickup day not knowing if they were going to come and pickup them up these bins were left by the street all week. Starting on May5th we attempted to call them for two weeks straight never having had anyone pick up the telephone and a number of emails were sent in an attempt to get some answers all to no avail until May 14th when an email was finally answered. We have been asking for the remainder of our money to be returned and the response has been that we do not give refunds. Why anyone would subject themselves to this kind of poor customer service and poor service with respect the picking up the trash bins is beyond me.

We have had our garbage/recycling/yard waste services through LePage and Sons for awhile(5+years). This year we prepaid yard waste service and they have yet to pick it up. Now middle of may. Called and left messages and no response. Emailed and was told work order was created for pick up. Still have not picked up yard waste and now no response to email. Neighbors and I are very frustrated of their poor service.

My dissatisfaction with LePage goes back to last summer, but I will stick to the last week. On Thursday, May 10th, we put all three of our cans at the end of our driveway. Thursday is our pickup day. Thursday late afternoon I called because none of the three cans had been picked up. I was told they would be picked up on Friday. Friday late afternoon they were still there. I called, and I was told the trucks were still out and they would be picked up. The garbage and recycling were finally picked up sometime early Friday evening, a full day after my scheduled pick up. My compost was still there. It was not picked up Saturday or Sunday. I emailed on Saturday, May 12th, and still have not received a reply. On Monday morning, May 14th, I called and left a message to please call me back. They never did, even though their recording says they will call back within the business day. I called again Monday afternoon and left another message asking for a call back. I called Tuesday, May 15th and once again asked for a call back. It is now 5:00 on Tuesday and no one has called or responded to my email. We are nearing the one week mark of my inquiries not being answered and my messages being ignored.

Since my compost is not being picked up and I have already paid for that service, I would like to cancel my compost and be refunded the full price of the seasonal compost cart. I believe that was $79 if I remember correctly. Since we have only had a couple weeks of compost service, and one of those weeks was never picked up, I feel this is a very fair request.

I would like to cancel my service with LePage, but since they do not pick up their phones when they ring, I do not know how to cancel at this point.

Please advise on how to be refunded for my compost cart and how to cancel service with a business that does not answer phones or return emails.

LePage and Sons sucks. They have multiple complaints on Google and Yelp for good reason. They never pick up trash recycle and yard waste on the day they are supposed to. If I have a Tuesday pick up then why are my cans still full on Wednesday? Calling the company gets you no where, they will not answer . If you ever do you get them on the phone you get the same excuse every time "we are behind in our pickups" but this is week after week. And being late is unacceptable. They clearly do not care about anything or any customer because they never try to resolve issues they just ignore them. Terrible terrible company. Do not waste your money. Go with any other company!

They have collected my money for compost pick-up and have failed to ever come by. Now they have lied to me twice about when it will happen. Looking at the google reviews I am not alone.

I paid $89.00 for compost pick-up and they have failed to pick it up everytime. I have called the company and the refuse to answer the phone. I left a message politely asking to end my service and to return my $89.00 but have not received any response. I have seen a lot of complaints and negative reviews from people having the same exact issue as me. I just want my $89.00 back and switch companies but there is absolutely no way to contact this company? Thank you for your help.

We have had LePage and Sons for two years. I love this company. They are always friendly and helpful on the phone. If for any reason a pick up is missed, they come as soon as they can. I especially love the YARD WASTE Bin they have from April (after the snow is gone) thru November. I use it for grass clippings, leaves and organic debris that floats up on the beach.They will pick up the bin plus 20 additional bags each week. I usually just need the bin except for in the Spring and the Fall when I add some brown paper recycled yard waste bags. I would give them a FIVE STAR. Birdie

Small business a try out and give them more customers. Bad mistake!!! Have only had them for 2 months and they have missed our pick up 3 times. One week it took them 3 days to come and get it and I had to call and call and call. Horrible service and they do not help their costumers at all. Do not go with them!!
